ZA Future Defense

Hi lovelies,

through the recent event I've found out that many of young bloggers in Indonesia haven't even heard the brand ZA (pronounce per alphabet as in Z and then A). During my college days, as MTV started, ZA is everywhere and considered very cool, ZA New York. That's how this Japanese brand started.

I think their focus is the New York effortless look but with high quality skincare for a busy young girls.

ZA is one of the brand in the same group that produce Shiseido, ring a bell? Of course! Shiseido is one of the largest cosmetics company in the world. So without ever disregarding the word high quality, ZA is made for those who are young (or young at heart), vibrant, modern, fresh and where hydration plays a very important role in their cosmetics line.

Beside makeup, ZA has a line of skincare range called: Total Hydration, True White and Future Defense.

I've share a short review on Total Hydration (HERE) at my previous post. Suitable for those who are around 16 years old until early 20's.

The packaging is simple in gold, made to be used by those who wants to get rid of early aging signs such as fine lines with the power of plumping up the skin with moisture.

I wish they come in different color, purple perhaps? Since gold are mostly used by cosmetics for the golden age . . . 50's, ups?!

Future Defense are made for over 25 to around 30's, so they should come in 'younger' color packaging.

Details are all over the packaging making sure the customer understand their methods and usage tips too. I find them to be very clever, as customer can easily read the details without fail. Other product like to cramp a small piece of note inside the packaging where it is difficult to be read. Another reason for this is ZA are made for over the counter cosmetics.

CLEANSING FOAM

Cleansing foam 100g

A creamy cleansing foam gently cleanses skin, leaving an ultra-moisturized finish.

How to

Create a rich lather by adding foam and water in your palm. Massage gently in a circular motion over face. Rinse thoroughly.

There are tiny yellow orange dots of hyaluronic acid-infused granules and antioxidant vitamin-infused granules. Those granules are easily pop once massaged on a wet skin. Remember to lather up all the foam on your palm first before moving on to the face. It's the foam that cleanses.

After making sure all the areas are covered with foam, all the pores get some cleansing action, rinse of with water. I rarely use warm water, just normal room temperature or whatever temperature provided by the tap.

The result is a clean skin, a bit squeaky (perhaps I need to lather more). Cleans all the daily debris such as sweats, dirt, and sebum. Makeup? Use a makeup remover first before using the Cleansing Foam.

After cleansing, use the toner, known as Prismizer. A very cool name for a lotion and look! On the other side of the box there's explanation with images too ^__^ I'm drawn to images more than words  . . . . comic generation.

Lotion 150mL

A rich-texturized lotion that can provide sufficient moisturization and resilience under any environment.

How to

Smooth an appropriate amount over face with hand or cotton pad after cleansing.

Prismizer is like a water drops, gentle to the skin and with cotton it helps picking up the leftover on the skin, which create this glistening glow on the skin. Ready for the next step.

The scent in Prismizer is alike with the rest of the products in the same range, fresh, floral, and very gentle as well. There's no sharp scent whatsoever.

EMULSION

Emulsion 125mL

A rich-texturized emulsion that can provide sufficient moisturization and resilience under any environment.

How to

Smooth an appropriate amount over face. For optimal absorption, place hands over face and press gently.

Milky dewy and very moisturizing. This is emulsion and all it's glory. Emulsion is a mixed up between oil and water, in a way that they become one, inseparable, called emulsion.

This is not a replacement of a moisturizer, it does provide moisture but not in a way of moisturizer does. Emulsion does more within. So the skin stays moist inside. Covered by the moisturizer.

The eyes needs their own protection as well. A cream that only needed to be used a rice sized, gently tap using ring fingers and I do spread some on my laughing lines as well. Hoping it will help smoothen the fine lines of happiness.

WRINKLE MINIMIZER

Eye Cream 20g

A high-performing cream that helps prevent fine-line around mouth and eyes, keeps skin youthful and radiant with perfect conditions.

How to

Smooth an appropriate amount over areas around eyes. For best results, gently massage the cream around eyes. Take 0.2g with the fingertip, and apply it in the direction with upward motion.

Never use too much as the creamy texture is a bit heavy. Mixed it a bit with emulsion for an all over fine liner eraser.

CREAM

Cream 40g

The highly condensed cream provides needed nutrition to your skin and prevents fine lines and wrinkles on your face. Its refined texture can penetrate into skin easily and deeply, so your skin feels bouncy and supple over night.

How to

Smooth an appropriate amount over face. For optimal absorption, place hands over face and press gently.

The last but not least.

The one that finishes it all off, making sure all the nutrients, benefits and moisture stays intact. Covering the skin with wonderful hydration. I use Future Defense daily and my skin regain their youth plumps making the fine lines looks less and that radiant glow looks irresistible.
