Guerlain KissKiss From Paris Lip Contouring Palette

Hello lovelies,

how's your Christmas holiday? I hope it went on beautifully, with peace and merriness with the laugh and joy. Families and friends sharing moments together in harmony. The season reminds us how we love spending time together and put our differences aside. I wish you all had and still have that memories together.

And here's something that I still had from Guerlain holiday box (woohoo), it's Guerlain KissKiss From Paris Lip Contouring Palette.

One palette that contain several colors in one for many looks and several finish too.

The lip contouring palette KissKiss from Paris is composed of a primer and three shades to draw ultra-sophisticated lips. A palette for all the kisses “from Paris”, from the softest to the most passionate.. The three shades draw the contour of the lips and create a color gradation for a pumped-up look and an irresistible mouth! This palette is available in two harmonies: for a romantic or a passionate look. The two applicators are used for each step of the make-up to offer glamorous and deliciously attractive lips!

Its subtle vanilla-violet fragrance delicately intertwines with the sparkling scent of berries.

The hyaluronic acid spheres aim to pump the lips.
The mango butter hydrates the lips to provide them a velvety texture.
The commiphora myrrha oil smooths the lips' surface.

1. Apply the base to smooth the lips.
2. Draw delicately the lips’ contour with the darkest shade.
3. Apply the major shade on the entire mouth.
4. Put the lightest shade in the center of the lips.

Little tip: For a matte finish, apply the colour with the foam brush.

Based on their official website, there's only 1 shade, 001 Passionate Kiss.

And for me, they are just right, not just in terms of shade, base and finish, but function and the ability to smoothen up my (seems to be) always drying lips.

Imagine having to travel yet doesn't seems to eager to carry so many lippies, this could be the one for you. It happens to me a lot of times when I did bring like 6 to seven colors with me and in the end I only use like 1-2. Since I prefer comfort and everyday colors, yet in some nights I do like to go out and wear vivid ones. But the one most important part is the feeling of using the lippies, I need something that covering, smoothen the surface, with convenience, like this palette for sure. I never have to use a balm before or another base, it's all in one.

Bright red, bright slightly orange lips, to beige, and deep red and when mixed in between.

One irresistible fact too, is about the unique applicator, brush and sponge. Still, I can still have my fingers for a demi matte finish, brush for more gloss, and sponge for velvety look. It's so good, right?

Either way, the product is not just versatile but ultimately cozy on the lips. It stays with me during cold or hot weather, dry and humid climate. It always feels pleasant.

Notice the gradation lips above? By using the brush and gently dab them with the sponge for blending.

On the image above, I'm using the base, it covers lips imperfection and uneven tone, I can also use it to blend colors.

The lips will appear fuller, cleaner and definitely polished.

The color is pretty long lasting (each and every one of them), and the pleasant feeling of a soft lips last too, I feel like I just need to touch up the colors every few hours without balms or other product to ease the lips from the dryness since hyaluronic acid, mango butter and the oils inside seals my lips in moisture.

Guerlain Kiss Kiss Matte

I guess no matter how liquid lippies made the headlines nowadays, lipstick in it's original form will always exist and be loved. They are convenient, comes in many different formula too, from firm to buttery, many different finish from glossy, demi, matte to variants like powdery and velvety. Their ingredients could be differ too, from wax, balm, to gently hydrating.

One of the most highlighted products in Guerlain Makeup 2017 collection is KissKiss Matte and I happen to have two of them here.

Guerlain imagines KissKiss Matte, a hydrating and plumping matte lipstick, intense like a lipstick and comfortable like a balm! The subtle spice extract it contains gives the impression of voluminous lips while the precious oils and the hyaluronic acid smooth and hydrate them. KissKiss Matte offers 9 captivating shades for all special occasions. The iconic packaging is adorned with a golden matte veil.

Its subtle vanilla-violet fragrance delicately intertwines with the sparkling scent of berries.

KissKiss Matte routine :

1. Apply Liplift primer before lipstick and slightly beyond the lip contour, then blend in with the fingertips.

2. Apply KissKiss Matte directly to the lips for a matte finish and hydrated lips all day long.

9 shades from plum, red, nudes, pink, to orange. They are gorgeous. From the packaging to the container, look at that golden luxurious color. Like we'll be having a great time with it.

And on each of the lipstick, there's the engrave word of KissKiss.

The shape, the mold, the colors and the finish of each product looks so good. Like it's so merry and festive, perfect for this season.

The container holds the product well and did you see the tiny dot on each of the lippies right in the mid part? That's the small detail they put to help assuring a closed lid, so there's there subtle click on closing it properly. So the lippies inside stays safe and secure. Do this every time, we wont want to ruin a good thing.

Without having the swatches, since these babies are too precious, let's see how they are on my lips. This is, for sure, Spicy Burgundy (image below).

The formula glide super smoothly on my lips. The feel so good and look so good on the lips. Smells beautiful yet never overwhelming, the color is so pigmented and rich but the feeling is still light. There's a hydrating sensation but not oily nor greasy, so it's just right in coating the lips, making them appear so lusciously healthy, plump and ready to take the day.

The redness speaks for itself, it was bright, daring, brave, seductive and strong at the same time. Perfect for anyone with a personality to match.

The next one is Caliente Beige (below).

Caliente means hot, as in hot beige, so even thou' it's leaning to nude, it's not an ordinary nude. According to Guerlain, every woman have their own story with their lipstick, so do I. I remember my first lipstick, I remember using special lipstick for a special date, I remember a lipstick could be empowering and helping me gets attention, and many more. Each lipstick does brings memories on their own. It's personal and something that I think worth having.

KissKiss Matte came to me during my time of difficulties, like perhaps many household have it's ups and down, seeing these babies somehow cheer me up and I don't know, I still believe where there's good things in life, things could get better and there are still hope.

Guerlain Intense Liquid Matte

I wish you are all well at this moment, especially we who lives in Indonesia and in an epidemic area, do be careful. Whenever possible, vaccine is indeed important and necessary.

Nevertheless, we always have to keep being positive in mind and attitude, it's not easy at times but let's make the best effort possible, during this times. After all, it's the most wonderful time of the year.

And one of those wonderful things is this, heehee, yes, beauty product. Guerlain sent me these amazing products to enjoy during holiday and seems like, nowadays, it's one of my treasure.

From perfume, base makeup, to lippies, let's discuss about their Intense Liquid Matte, shall we?!

Creamy velvet lip color longwear that comes in the most gorgeous shades. 7 shades, feels like not enough, not really, they come in the reddest red to plum, nude and pinks to orange. Even thou they seems like 7, but there's no confusion between the shades, remember how some brand have tons of shades yet a few of them looks very similar?!

So 7 seems like an adequate choice, especially when they are this good.

Guerlain invents Intense liquid Matte: a smoothing matte liquid lipstick that’s easy to apply: creamy like a gloss and pigmented like a lipstick, with a stunning matte finish. A smoothing texture, which gives to the lips a highly pigmented and long lasting plumping look. The formula based on hyaluronic acid and tiger grass ensures a soft and enjoyable sensation. Seven captivating shades have been created for every mood.

Intense liquid matte is perfumed with « floriental », a delicate and light scent of vanilla.

Directions for use

1. Apply Liplift primer before lipstick and slightly beyond the lip contour, then blend in with the fingertips.

I have all the praises for these babies, get yourself ready. From the container that so smooth and indeed shows their price and level. It has a very subtle yet firm click sound when closed properly, the handle, molded edges, the solid black container, the tip of the wands, the shape of the sponge, the feeling when touches the lips, it was a very detailed experiences knowing that every single thing is well thought of.

Given to me are Tempting Rose and Exciting Pink.

Below is me using Exciting Pink, the sensation on the lips is superb. It's hydrating yet velvety, soft, delicate yet strong in pigment, smells so good yet comfortable for the nose and senses. It's makeup but contain ingredients that is good for the lips. It's fulfilling.

It's not super matte nor waterproof but smooth, moreover, so smooth and convenient when used. Perhaps have the most convenient texture I've tried. Kinda addicting to keep on using it again, and again, and again, on every occasion and every season.

And here are my pictures using Tempting Rose. Even the names are spot on, right?! Exciting Pink is more bright and vivid while Tempting Rose is indeed tempting and still demure like rose.

I love both colors and I can imagine using them everyday on events too. I love how my lips appear fuller, soft, flawless and like they are never been dry before. In facts, my lips are actually filled with chaps, even without using the lip primer, Intense Liquid Matte still works like wonder.

Overall,

a product that I really love and enjoy using. The beautiful gradated container, that works super smooth, engrave with Guerlain in gold, the tip sponge that works like a charm, and the product, of course, contain irresistible color, pigment and ingredients that benefit the lips as well as made them looks like million dollars lips. The 3D effects, adorable and pretty scent, with pleasurable coating experience that not just looks good, they feels good too. Mesmerizing!

Guerlain L'Or Radiance Concentrate with Pure Gold

Oohh, who doesn't know Guerlain and their irresistible bases?! From Meteorites Perles, Base and for sure, L'Or. One of the most interesting product in the makeup base world as it contain real gold.

Before the world start taking gold in their skincare or mask, L'Or has already existed, they may revamped in 2015 but the history of L'Or goes way back.

From the container, packaging and design is very well made. They look exclusively beautiful.

The box packaging is sealed, so when it is opened you'll see that the seal has been breach.

Inside there's a pamphlet where you could read more. Nevertheless, on the outer side, there's sufficient details regarding ingredients too.

Guerlain l'Or is an embellishing make-up base sprinkled with pure 24-carat gold flakes. Like the most luxurious jewellery pieces, the precious flakes were crafted into ultra-sparkling and ultra-reflective particles, then dispersed in a hydrating smoothing gel. The complexion is beautified. It glows with divine and unfailing radiance. Skin is smooth, supple and satiny, ready for perfect, enhanced and long-lasting make-up.

L'Or has a distinctive and delicate floral scent. The first peach note blended with an accord of vegetal notes is fresh and sparkling. The rose, raspberry and jasmine heart is enriched with a powdery base of balsamic, benzoin and white musk.

Take a small amount of gel on the back of your hand and gently apply to your face, working outwards to even out creases and smooth lines. Wait a few seconds before applying foundation.
The secret of absolute radiance: mix a few drops of fluid foundation and l'Or in the palm of your hand for an incredibly light texture.

Look at that pure gold gliding on the skin on the light gel base. They are so satisfying in terms of texture. It was cool, pleasing and easily loved. I like how it made the skin feels bouncily moist and like it was contented.

The gel melts on the skin and become more watery, easier to be blend and absorbed. The skin instantly appear more lively. I wont say that it's like a 'glue', but the makeup does stick better whenever I'm using the base. On skin that suffer from dryness products wont really set flawlessly, but when it is prep correctly like using a proper skincare and makeup base like this, the skin will behave far better with much better finish and staying power.

Many combine the liquid gel with their own foundation and loving the results, reviews on how beauty gurus raving about this product is endless. From helping the skin by satisfying it need to making them looks better and enhancing the skin condition.

The skin needs nutrition and gold was famous for it's properties too, that's why understanding this and adding more valuable ingredients, Guerlain L'Or provide.

Gold was known to be anti-inflammatory and antioxidant for the skin, calm acne, reduce skin redness, lighten skin complexion, and the skin will appear luminous.

I think I look pretty good thanks to L'Or Radiance Concentrate with Pure Gold. The one I want to highlight about the product is not just about the finish, but the experience in using it too. Many products might appear like a good product, giving the skin a 'flawless' look, but in the reality the chemicals and everything inside it made out of unsafe ingredients that does more damage than helping.

With L'Or, I feel safe as the feeling and whole experience when using it pure comfort.

The texture and formula that enhancing the skin condition made them so precious. It's hydrating and prepping the skin in the best way possible. Most problems consist due to inflammatory, like there's so many redness too we want to hide like under the nose. Using a gold infused base, the problem could be reduced. Hence, we wont need using too many makeup to cover the area.

And the scent, ooh, it's so good. Fresh, light and definitely far from overwhelming. I find it to be uplifting and made me happy. The non sticky and non greasy texture, addictive!

Above all, the effects on my skin, irresistible.

When I opened the box, to my delight, there's Intense Liquid Matte, KissKiss Hydrating Lip Matte Color, their famous golden base, Mon Guerlain EDP, and, as if they weren't enough, Lip Contouring Palette.

For sure, they will have their own individual post, this is just a pre opening of what will happen in my blog in the future.
