Tony Moly Magic Food Golden Mushroom Sleeping Pack

this is the final post for Tony Moly Magic Food Mushroom series. I've blog about Strawberry Mushroom Sugar Scrub, Choco Mushroom Cream Pore Pack and now, the Golden Mushroom Sleeping Mask.

By believing the power and wonderful things on mushroom like matsutake, shiitake and chaga, Tony Moly made these babies. They are so cute and adorable. The top of the jar are the mushroom cap, simply twist them open and there's a safety plastic lid, just remove it and use the product inside.

They are sold in three when I purchased them on a cruise ship, but I think it is possible to buy them one by one as that's how I saw on their official website.

What does this sleeping mask actually do? Well, sleeping mask is just a name, it's actually a night cream, something you can use as a night time routine and not necessarily a mask, since one brand made it (the title sleeping mask) famous, many Korean brand did the same, put the title 'sleeping mask'.

Apply the product on a clean skin, best to be used after scrub and choco mask.

Exfoliate, remove impurities and shrink pores (sounds good rite) and then give the skin ample hydration and nourishment from the Golden Mushroom.

The product is a yellowish cream, feels soft and the creaminess is slightly addictive. It's a perfect cream for massaging the skin. The cream itself I think works well even without being massaged but the skin will react better after being pampered. Massage relaxes the skin and help the circulation on the lower level of the epidermis, the skin sometime will appear more fresh and alive.

When used together, these three cute mushrooms works hand in hand in preparing the skin, from cleansing, clearing, and even made the pores ready for nourishment to finally the massaging effect that usually firming and tone the skin.

It's a good product, they are not complete, we can still need toner/softener and serums in between but generally can be added according to the age and skin condition of each  person.

What I also like about the mushrooms is that they don't have overwhelming scent, the strawberry scrub smells juicy and fresh, the choco like cocoa infused, and the golden mushroom is mild and soft in scent. A skincare that is too fragrant is not really good, especially when the scent is artificial, so perhaps, these Magic Food Mushrooms are considered good.

The scrub can be used on weekly basis for being mild, the choco cream pore pack 1-2 a week and the sleeping pack can be used more often.

Overall,

they are a must try products that doesn't just  come in cute packaging but function well too.

Tony Moly Magic Food Choco Mushroom Cream Pore Pack

this is another post for the magic food mushroom series and it's their yummy choco mushroom cream pore pack.

Those who are an addict to chocolate, must love this one as it has the texture of a chocolate, smells of the chocolate and feels like chocolate too.

The pores definitely need to be cleaned to de-clogged it, so after using the scrub (strawberry sugar scrub) this is a mask that hydrates the pores. So unlike most pore pack products that focusing on cleansing only, Tony Moly Magic Food Choco Mushroom Cream Pore Pack also refreshed and give moist effect. If you are concern whether it equals to oily, it is SO NOT, it is still so clean yet not making the skin suffer feeling so irritably dry.

After cleansing the skin well and after the scrub, I applied the choco cream onto the skin. The feeling is like using rich chocolate paste on the skin and the skin does response by enjoying it. It feels good. Like you are playing with food, it's that kind of feeling.

Unlike the scrub that has warm sensation on the skin, the pore pack is actually calming and a bit cooling. There's this thickness but not hot nor feels clogging. The skin feels good. And the mask will slowly harden, they'll not breaking dry like using a clay base mask, but like a chocolate being dried just nice coating the surface of the skin thinly. The choco mushroom and strawberry need to be rinse while the sleeping mask need not.

Since the skin already feels clean thanks to the scrub, now by using the choco mushroom cream pack, the clean feeling is deeper and like the pores become so clean they tighten up and made the skin feels even softer than before. I love how they made my skin feels like bouncy and fresh. Kinda made me feels younger, heehee.

Tony Moly Magic Food Strawberry Mushroom Sugar Scrub

cruising is definitely fun, but as fun as it is, nothing can take my mind of beauty products. So, as I was walking along the shopping arcade, I see one store that really brings the smile to my face, cosmetics store, and they have all of these famous brands with much cheaper price. Since there's no tax in the open water, I'm enjoying them so much. These are Tony Moly's Magic Food Mushrooms.

I bought all three of them and apparently, they are made for each other and I'll make blog posts in the order of usage, start from the strawberry sugar scrub, and indeed they do taste sweet (oops, kinda accidentally lick it a bit).

These are some details from the website about the product. It is using strawberry seeds and sugar and it does come in this jam-like texture, like I'm actually using a jam. They are like a gooey gel slime with the fabulous scent of strawberry. It is delish!

If you're a fan of hard core scrub, do it on a dry skin, and if you prefer something more gentle, simply wet the skin up and then use the scrub on a moist skin.

The details are provided on the clear box, so do read them up before tossing it away. As these mushrooms doesn't really say anything aside from the box.

They look super cute right?! My daughter thinks that they are hers, "it's a toy!", she said.

If you see, the product does appear like jam, a gooey jam. Smells so much like strawberry jam, and as mentioned above, sweet too. But it is still not food, so don't eat it.

The scrub has a warm to a bit hot sensation on my skin, I don't know why, it's just feels so warm whenever I'm using it all over my face, like it was so concentrated.

After the scrub, the skin feels softer and cleaner too. I seldom do scrub as I don't really like the after effect like irritating the skin but this one doesn't seems to be harsh. My skin doesn't look irritated and I feel happy whenever I'm using it.  Rinse the skin well after finish scrubbing, no need using too much force or massaging the skin for too long, 3-5 minutes is enough. The gentle scrub particle is just right, not too big and definitely not too small.  The sticky slimy gel sensation is fun and weird at the same time with a very refreshing strawberry scent hard to missed.

Tips: Don't forget to remove all makeup and clean the skin well before using the scrub so they can works better in deep cleansing the skin.

Tony Moly Super Peeling Liquid

this is a super peeling liquid by Tony Moly that was made for the feet. Yes, those feet where we put so much pressure every single day. To many abuses and neglect. I used to pamper my feet when I have the time, putting on generous body butter or petroleum jelly and socks, but I rarely have the time now.

Looking for something that instant and help those remove all those dead skin cells , I know there's a lot of similar products, and some are really good removing the upper layer of the skin and in about 2-3 weeks, new skin emerge. So soft and smooth.

Very easy to be used, just read everything on the packaging, it's a good thing that they do provide every little details in English.

Pretty much just clean the feet and let them dry thoroughly. Put the plastic cover and soaked the feet with the liquid provided. Usually (on other brand), one pack is made for single usage. Tony Moly gave two packages for a second application.

Here's what inside the product, a bag for each foot, the liquid and there's sachets of foot cream too.

Here's my feet before.

The heels are so dry and cracked everywhere.

They are no problems from above, but everything is clearly seen on the bottom part. The part that touches the ground every single day.

On the image below, you can clearly see the cracked heels.

What does cracked heels came from, dryness? Excessive dryness? Or perhaps other things? Some even says all of the above and the fact that they are touching water every now and then, frictions from movements and things that actually unavoidable. We can simply care for the feet by weekly scrubs and put more moisturizing agents such as body butter and so on, but it can be a bit of a problem as it made the feet super slippery. So do be careful.

After reading all the details, I put some of those acidic clear water like lotion into the foot bag and soak my feet. It felt cold and weird. Perfect for a hot day as a cool feet does made the whole body feels cooler.

Tied them up and leave it on for around 2 hours. Yes, 2 whole hours, it felt squishy, wet and I can still walk around, just be careful not to spill anything as it smells like vinegar and I don't want anyone in the family accidentally have to have a peeled skin due to products.

After the 'soaking' time over. Rinse the feet and wait for the magic to happen.

Around 5 days later, the dead skin starts to develop and things do looks like they are getting worse before eventually getting better.

No pain was involved in the whole process, from the beginning to the end. When does it ends?

On my feet is around 2 weeks. The skin does become softer, smoother and the cracked heels appear finer but not 100% gone. Other brand does it better and the exfoliating period is also worse. A huge dead skin everywhere, while this one is pretty mild, perhaps that's why they provide 2 package instead of one.

Overall,

a good product that removes dead skin cells on the feet in 2 weeks without any pain nor discomfort. For a very dry cracked heels a longer soaking time is needed or perhaps repeat the routine around at least a month later.

Easy to be used, just walk slowly when needed and don't let it spill as the liquid is pretty much like vinegar and doesn't smell nice.

Be patient during the process, just wear shoes to avoid being looked at, and reveal a smoother and softer feet after around 2 weeks. Don't pull the dead skin off, let them off by themselves.

Tony Moly Silky Glaze Shine Hair Mask

bleached and constantly dyed hair definitely become so dry, brittle and coarse. Every time I touches my hair, I feel the dryness, combing them was difficult and I have to do it very gently. Normal conditioner wont work, in fact, they don't really work, it's like helping the hair in the minimum way possible, hence I need help.

I've tried many hair mask in the market and most of them that was sold in the mass produced section doesn't really work.

When I tried Tony Moly Silky Glaze Shine Hair Mask, it surprisingly does.

The product comes in a sachet like this. 

One large sachet where there's a divider, one large and one small.

The details on the product lied behind. There's images on how to use and information in Korean and English.

The details is pretty clear and written as it is below.

The large part contain a shower cap, and the smaller one is where the white creamy product is. It smells so fragrant, flowery and fresh. Really is so good.

The texture of the cream is thick but easily applied on the toweled dry hair right after shampoo.

Since it was a hair mask, I only use the product on the hair, start from the mid part to the ends. I don't let anything from the mask touches the scalp as it wasn't made for the scalp. It can make the scalp oily and very much uncomfortable.

So I let the formula stays on the hair inside the shower cap. The natural steam from the head made the formula works better perhaps, and I leave them on for 20 minutes or so.

While doing so, I also put on some face mask >.< like two things at the same time, it's pampering time.

When the 20 minutes is up, I rinse my hair and felt so amaze with the result. My hair becomes so soft, smooth and silky. Like it felt so good again. I can use the finest comes with the smallest fit and my hair doesn't tangle. I don't see much of a shine, but they surely doesn't tangled anymore. I love the effect and kinda in disbelief. I regret only buying one.

I know that the effect is not forever, but I can use it once or twice a week and enjoy the benefit.

Overall,

a great hair mask that does the job well. It 'healed' my hair, made them smells super good, doesn't tangle and made me feel like I haven't even bleached and treated the hair poorly.

The effect last for a couple of days, and I can simply use it again for another dose of silky soft hair.

Tony Moly Intense Care Snail Hydro-gel Mask

Here's another product from Tony Moly. I bought some of these masks during my trip to Pekan Raya Jakarta, they have a 70% off for every item. Imagine the frenzy and a lot of their items become sold out.

I have tons of makeup and skincare hence I picked up things that I thought to be unique or at least I know they are good, like this Intense Care Snail Hydro-gel Mask. I love hydro gel mask, it is so comfortable and works better than paper or cottons masks.

Everything is clearly written on the packaging. From instruction, which is as easy as any mask, clean the skin well, use a bit of toner or face mist and apply the mask. Leave it on for 15-30 minutes and take them off. Massage the leftover 'juice' onto the skin and apply moisturizer.

The ingredients also stated on the container, and yes, they still have mineral oil there, yikes!

Opening the container, inside there's two mask, one for the lower part of the face and the other for the upper part.

It was a clear gel mask hold by white plastic like texture. It helps the mask to stay put and made the figure safe.

Very slippery and like any other gel mask, it felt like a wet jelly. A jelly itself already so slippery, imagine a wet jelly.

It felt cool as well, put it inside the fridge for at least one hour, it helps the skin to cools off and close the pores too while the formula hydrates the skin, seems like an all in one solution for an aging skin.

This is what the gel mask looks like when I applied the lower part first. It is clear and it is best to lie down during mask time as it is still a bit slippery and can easily falls off.

I find the lower part to be a perfect fit.

The upper side is way bigger, from the nose part and all the way down.

It is overlapping on the section where they meet. 

The gel mask feels comfortable and I can cool off, perfect for a warm climate as it relaxes and calms the skin too.

I let my stress drips away.

After around 20 minutes, I took it off and massage the leftover fluid onto the skin and continue with my favorite eye care and moisturizer before putting on any makeup.

The skin feels fresh, looks plump and young again since they have enough 'drink' during the day.

I really enjoy using the product as it is easy to be used and hydrating. The gel mask is cooler than cotton or papery mask and feels better too.

I still wish they use only ingredients that are safe, hopefully in the near future they'll improve the formula.

As masks has been a routine on my weekly schedule and hydration still are my main focus, these kinds of mask surely the one that I'll choose.
