SkinFood Freshmade Watermelon Mask

SkinFood is one of my favorite brand for their concept. Aside from that, they always have this utterly cute packaging and products too. The texture, ingredients, final product, they look so good that find each of them irresistible. I once step into their store in Korea and remember want to buy the whole collection.

This is one of my haul, Freshmade Watermelon Mask.

A wash off gel mask that instantly soothes and hydrates complexion, leaving a fresh, subtle watermelon scent.

Key Ingredient

Watermelon is vitamin and anti-oxidant rich. It provides hydration and helps minimize pores and oil production.

Directions

Apply on to face with gentle massage avoiding lips and eye area, and wash off with warm water after 15 minutes.

It's like a puree, a cloudy gel with a slight puree texture, like there's an actual crushed watermelon there. And the scent is just amazing, more like a melon thou' than a watermelon in terms of scent since it's really sweet and fresh. Very fruity and somehow made me crave for some sweet melons.

The color is faint pink, so it's definitely not red like watermelon, and not really white too.
The texture is gel but like said above, like puree, not really thick but not watery thin too, so it's somewhere in between.

I cleaned my face and so ready to dive in. Oohh, it's so cooling and refreshing. Like this puree gel could make my skin swim in pure comfort and the smell is just too delicious and too good to be true, I'm afraid ants and bees comes to my face and eat this mask away.

I'm using them on a clean skin, simply spread the gel onto the skin on areas needed, like said on the instruction do avoid eyes and mouth. I leave them on for 15 minutes and enjoy every scent of it. My skin is rather dry, that's why I bought the watermelon. Aside from this, they also have lemon, cranberry, coconut and many more. Like shopping in a grocery market haha!

Back to the mask, I rinse them off after 15 minutes, since the mask doesn't turns dry or like clay mask, it's easy to wash them off.

My skin feels comfortable and hmm, how come on the cheeks when I put on my usual skincare, it feels rather sting a bit. Perhaps it has that mild exfoliating or pores cleansing effect.

After that, I put on my usual skincare and makeup, my skin looks refreshed and overall comfortable after a while. The skin seems brighter and more radiant too. Perhaps this mask more than meets the eye. For the oil minimizing effect and hydrating at the same time, it practically can be used by all skin type.

The product from the packaging, shade (deep black) and comes in a brush with pot filled with 'ink' is rather typical and like any other product. But when pay attention to the formula, it has this unique differences.

The ink is slimy, I meant it doesn't look like a slime at all bit has that silkiness and slipperiness like a slime. It was like a slimy gel that feels so good on the eyelids, it was really silky and smooth.

The brush also feels so fine, it's very comfortable on the eyelids. But since it was very fine and soft, it has less control than a firm one. And the gel doesn't dries easily, it need a good time to completely set.

When being patience, the result is pretty good. The solid black color is satisfying and the formula never irritate my eyes.

It has a good staying power but doesn't really stand a chance against my greasy eyelids, I have to made them set better by using a primer and added some loose powder.

Still, the unique consistency had me at hello, it was a good product and Skin Food do pays attention on their ingredients, so I'm still happy having it and knowing that I'm using one that cares.

It arrives with lots of wrappings, from the pink plastic, to the clear plastic, a cotton like bag (that are common in hotels for laundry bag and finally the box, haha! I can see the monochrome box. It is pretty and looks luxurious.

It has the detailed info on their social medias, why we should picked them and offering for bloggers.

Last week for the first time I went on a haul at Multiply at the comfort of my own home. Most of the time I feel doubt in shopping online knowing some of my friends complaining about the 'bad services' given. Such as:

- after payment the online shop went mia (missing in action)

- products are fake/counterfeit

- expired goods

- lost mails?

- items seems opened and used (when payment made for brand new item)

- a very long delivery time (like a month)

and yes, still other excuses and reasons of why we shouldn't shop online . . . unless they are trusted seller, like some shops at Multiply.

How do we recognize these shops? Do we need to check on them one by one? No need!

Multiply has done it for you. Just look at the Trusted seller logo in each shop and fret not, your purchase and as a buyer, you are protected from problems that may come from purchasing online.

So when I have the chance to try shopping at Multiply, instead of shopping at one online shop, I went on several cosmetic online shops so I can 'test' how things are going there. I found the system in Multiply to be very user friendly, where usually we need to pay individually, in Multiply even thou I bought many items from different online shops, I just put them in one shopping cart and pay them all at once, no need multiple payments.

The rest come in 2 more days (which means 4 days after payment). Korean Noona forgot 1 item and after I ask about it, they say it was oos (out of stock) and the refund is made after I give them my bank acc no. Kesho Shop also forgot to add one item I've paid and send the good the next day.

Argan oil, also known as the Liquid Gold of Morocco, is pressed from the nuts of the argan trees that are under protection of UNESCO. This oil, enriched with essential fatty acids, vitamin E, squalene, and other nutrients, provides many benefits especially for hair care as it nourishes the hair and increases its moisture content. 

* To Use
 After shampooing, remove excess water and apply to damp hair. Leave on for 5 minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water.

The milky honey colored cream is thick and at first the smell is not so good (but after rinsing and drying, the smell become better, fresher and gooood ^__^ like fresh flowered honey). The thick cream also easily distributed to wet hair and in an instant the hair feels super duper soft.

I use it accordingly and really like the delicateness and silky smooth effect. I know that to fix ones hair it takes more than just feeling soft and silky but still, who can resist a hair that looks like silk and shines too.

Yes, my hair become shinier and looks healthier.

My golden colored hair looks like fine threads of gold now. So delicate, fine, soft to the touch, fragrant, and radiant. This is a must try item ^__^

Tips: Don't let the mask touches the scalp, it was made for hair tresses, not scalp. Rinse the product well and gently dry the hair, Don't use hot water, a semi warm water is enough, I've tried cold water and it works out too.

Omija Whitening Set 2

First you have to read my previous post here regarding the following product.

This is my review after using them for a week

I see my skin is getting clear-er, but on the cheek zone I feel they are a bit irritation, mild I may say, but I need more moisture there, so I use another product to help boost the moisture. I think this product is more safe to be used on normal to oily skin. Conclusion: Effective in terms of whitening but dry skin would not feel happy about the dry zones.

Skin Food Omija Whitening Set

Some time ago I got this wonderful set from Skin Food Singapore, yet I only got a chance to try them now. Omija is a brightening set that claimed ti have skin whitening effect. In the set they are:

Toner:
This brightening toner contains Omija extracts and skin-lightening ingredients. Freshly brewed by using a biodegradable tea bag for infusion.

Emulsion: 

An emulsion with smooth texture that effectively brightens skin using a patent-awarded Omija herb complex and ingredients producing skin-lightening effects.

Serum:
A lightweight yet moisturising essence that effectively brightens skin with nano vitamin C and patent-awarded Omija complex. 

Moisturizer:
An moisturising cream that effectively brightens skin using a patent-awarded Omija herb complex and ingredients producing skin-lightening effects.

The complete set looks conveniently sleep in the container. After I cleaned my face I use the toner first, the smell is lovely and floral fresh.

Then I use the emulsion, that feels light on the skin, the smell is also wonderful, I guess the whole set smell the same. It can easily absorb too

The serum comes in a cute small pump bottle, the texture is almost like the emulsion, light and white. It's easily absorb too. Feels comfortable on the skin.

Last but not least is the moisturizing cream that feel's more jelly-er than the rest. Use as the last moist barrier to the skin. My skin feels light. I didn't see any immediate effect but my face do seems fresh-er, dewy-er and definitely comfortable. I will use it until they all finished and hopefully there will be some brighter result ^_^

Salmon Brightening Eye Serum

Highly concentrated water-based serum rich in omega-3 fatty acid, haloxyl, arbutin and vitamins to improve blood circulation and whiten skin for excellent radiant eyes. 

Apply an appropriate amount around eyes and tap the area lightly for maximum absorption. To boost results, complete with Salmon Brightening Eye Cream.

Again relying on sachet for my first review, hey, don't you ever underestimate a sample, it can tell you about allergy, skin irritation, comfort and so on. So when you actually buy the whole package deal, you know what you really in to. Companies that doesn't give sample need to be doubt.

 So back to Salmon Brightening Eye Serum which at first I'm preparing myself for the fishy smell, which isn't heehee. It just went down smoothly despite the kinda thick orange-y texture. You need to massage them gently in on your eye area. I didn't see the immediate effect, maybe I'm still too sleepy to realize but so far no discomfort whatsoever, I think perhaps it is best to use within the whole range.

Rice Mask Wash Off From Skin Food

Details from Skinfood Singapore:

Exfoliating wash off scrub mask with minerals, vitamins and gamma oryzanol. Moisturizes and whitens the skin.

Apply evenly after cleansing. Avoid eye and mouth area. Gently scrub and wash off with lukewarm water after 10 - 15 minutes.

I got a sachet to try it on

The instruction is pretty much the same except to leave it on 10-15 minutes and rinse it off with lukewarm water.

The texture is soft for the foam but the 'scrub' is coarse yet still feels gentle to the skin. Smell definitely perfumed. Not complaining ^_^

Here so can see how thick it feels, it doesn't fall when I put it on my face, like self foamed mask, bubbly.

Easily spread over my face and I keep massaging accordingly, using small circular motion, it's just lovely and the felling is comfortable. After leaving it accordingly I rinse my face, it feel smooth and soft yet my cranky dry cheek stays calm where it's usually kinda red after any scrub.

Perfect for maintaining my skin to stay spotless. I will definitely use it again, love the moisturizing and brightening effect.

Salt Mineral Hair Conditioner

Since LUSH product are nowhere to be found in Singapore so when I found out SkinFood have this amazing conditioner I blast myself to the nearest store. So at Jurong Point branch, a very nice staff explain the whole thing for me. And when she's not even finish explaining I know this is the stuff I needed. My scalp is oily and I hate how they easily turn limp, so when I used this product it gives the volume I want.

I use with the shampoo I already had in my home, then I apply a chunk of this wonderful thick gooey conditioner all over, yup, all over. Other conditioner are not allowed to touch the scalp while this one not just can but help my problem from root to the end. I love how it makes my scalp clean and my hair lusciously clean but not dry and frizzy. The hair is surprisingly glowing and hydrated perfectly.
