Kawaii Beauty Japan Beauty Blogger Gathering X emina

Hello everyone!!

A few weeks ago, I went into an event with Kawaii Beauty Japan with emina.

In this event, Kawaii Beauty Japan invited their stars and beauty bloggers to know more about Kawaii Beauty Japan and how we can contribute more. In this opportunity, Heavenly Blush also present alongside with emina, a new makeup brand in Indonesia.

-*-

Above is Sasagawa San welcoming everyone to the event and getting insides on what's happening with the beauty blogger world nowadays. Kawaii Beauty Japan wants to stays ahead in understanding beauty bloggers.

Soon, emina take the stage and introducing their brands and products to the audience.

-*-

emina, come from a latin word means beloved and in German means noble.

emina believes that everyone is beautiful and nobody has the right to make you feel like you're not. Be your own kind of beautiful.

-*-

They have so many cute products not to be missed, perfect for that girly side of you or anyone whose young or young at heart. Their range are made for pre teens, teens and young adult alike.

One of the product I found so cute is the cheek lit, it is a white lotion at first but, when blended on the skin, it'll change shade to our perfect blush.

The sheer blush suits those who are just trying their first makeup.

-*-

Below are the collection from their eyeshadow.

The Indonesian brand made their colors pop and as seen it is pretty good in terms of being pigmented.

-*-

There's still some fall out, but thinking of the price and the genre, it is enough.

-*-

emina has now gains followers for their adorable packaging, pink colors design and pastel shades in almost all of their collection. They are not yet available in most cities in Indonesia, but hopefully soon.

Their products consist of skincare, makeup, and nails.

-*-

Glitters, sparkles, and shiny selections for the girls.

-*-

Soon, Tia from Kawaii Beauty Japan announces that we can take part in a mini makeover using products from emina.

-*-

At that time I was busy in doing a makeup for my sister ^^ their products surely packs a punch in terms of colors. They also have lipstick in the shade of bright bubble gum pink. Do check them out at www.eminacosmetics.com
-*-

Soon, the even has to end and we get to go home with products from Kawaii Beauty Japan and emina.

-*-

Thank you so much Kawaii Beauty Japan for having me and stay tune for my reviews regarding emina's product that I've received.

-*-

And cure as well.

-*-

See you soon!!

Tokyo Belle Eyelash Extension

Hello lovelies,

I just got back from an eyelash extension procedure at Tokyo Belle.

Located at Pacific Place Mall the tiny branch is tugged right before the end of the tunnel to the next building and it's on Basement 1 level. It is not that easy to find the location if you're not happen to pass by.

-*-

Invited by Kawaii Beauty Japan, I went for an eyelash extension which took around 60-90 minutes. The length of time depends on the numbers of lashes you have, the more the longer it is.

-*-

The service itself cost around Rp. 1.500.000 and last for 3-4 weeks. So if you want them to last longer, you have to take good care of the lashes by not exposing them to water for the first 24 hours, avoid any oil base cleanser on the lashes, never tug, pull, or touch the falsies roughly, and careful when you put on your glasses as they might stuck in between.

-*-

This is me, in front of Tokyo Belle, the design is very pretty, stylish and looks luxurious.

If you want to find out more about Tokyo Belle, do visit their official website: HERE.
They also have other branches at Panglima Polim and Kemang Village.

Do contact each representative branch for appointment and details accordingly.

-*-

Since the place at Pacific Place only cater 1 treatment at a time, I need to rush and get in before the next appointment come. Yes, it is fully booked today. So if you want to come, please make a reservation first for your convenience.

-*-

This is the room for eyelash extension, a treatment bed, blanket, comfy pillow, huge mirror and tons of Japanese magazine. Yes, Tokyo Belle is from Japan and they do bring their services with pride.

On the selection, I can choose a look I want for the lashes. There's natural, glamor, sexy and cute. I choose sexy, where the lashes are getting longer at the outer side. So it's like a cat eye look.

For the natural, this is the perfect choice for those who look for a longer lashes without adding drama.
The glamor is long and thick. Each lash consist of two lashes instead of one like the rest of the options.
Cute is where the center of the eyelashes is the longest, so it is shaped like the eyes.

Each of the lashes are attached to our natural lashes.

After choosing the length of the lashes (yes, you can choose the length too from 11mm, 12, 13 and 14 mm), you can also choose is it going to be curly or normal. I'm sexy curl ^__^

-*-

I'm happy to see they only use a good quality products for the service and everything here is clean as well.

The staffs are trained really well and in good manners to. This is a standard for a Japanese brand.

-*-

Everything is neatly provided and the treatment can begin asap. I don't have to remove my contact lenses during the treatment and assured as well by the glue used also safe around the eyes.

I'm not allowed to open my eyes during the whole service, what do I do? In a comfortable chair, blanket, air conditioner right on top of me, and a very quiet environment? Sleep haha! This is the best service ever and shown that the service is done without any discomfort.

-*-

After finished and waking up with more energy after a 75 minutes of nap, I take a look around and found another room, this is a place for IPL therapy.

Tokyo Belle also do slimming but not available at this branch.

-*-

Since when I'm done, I'm no longer in a rush and I can take pictures of the front area as well.

They also sell products to be used for the lashes.
-*-

And of course, the result heehee.

Here are the before after look of my pre and post eyelash extension by Tokyo Belle.

-*-

I wish they also do a lower eyelash extension since the result is so good, very comfortable, light and neat as well. I don't have to use a falsies now for 3-4 weeks, heehee, or I can add one for super dramatic effect.

Still curious about Tokyo Belle?

Get long and curly eyelashes with Japanese Eyelash Extension. Extension is glued one by one with 2mm gap from your real eyelashes. This method is the most effective to lengthen eyelash and shows the beautiful feature of your eyes while still look so natural. This treatment uses hypoallergenic product from Japan.

Revive Lash

Hello lovelies,

I'm back with another review with a lash conditioner. I know the title could be misleading as it is NOT like a hair conditioner which needed to be rinsed out, but lash conditioner is actually a leave in treatment for the lash, most of them are made to help them grow stronger, longer and darker as well. And Kawaii Beauty Japan also have one from Revive Lash

-*-

The red box with black line is the exterior packaging of the product, inside there's a black tube with white wand with soft sponge-like brush. This is the applicator. The product itself is like a clear runny jelly that fells a bit sticky when used on the eyes. There's no scent found in it.

-*-

Written on the black tube: "It is an essence for the eyelashes for reviving the eyelashes which are strong and have tension."

Do mind the language a bit since this is a Japanese product, the price itself is around 5000 Yen, so this is in the premium category.

I think the price of the product itself is quite reasonable, since after all this is the product used on the eyes area, on their website it is called as an eyelash serum, so it's potent enough.

-*-

Above is the instruction and details on how to use it and below is me after using the product around 2 weeks negligently. Why negligently? I'm not a big fan of the sticky feeling it has on the lids, and usually waking up there will be like this white gunk residue on the lids. So I use it for around 2-3 weeks once a day before sleep, here's the result.

-*-

Noticeable results within that period of time and not so routine usage. The lashes are definitely looking darker, longer and areas where there's usually lack of lashes has now grow new ones (yippie!! Those sticky feeling pays off >.< )

-*-

Will I continue using it? Yes! When I need a boost of extra lashes and when I want a natural longer an fuller looking lashes that can be curled easily for a curly eyelashes without the need of using falsies or getting an extension.

The results from using Revive Lash are also permanent and when I'm using falsies (for that extra oomph effect), some of my natural lash usually got plucked out as well when removing the falsies, so Revive Lash is actually helping me in 'healing' those issues too.

Overall,

a product that really effective and show significant result in a matter of weeks.

Thank you

Kawaii Beauty Japan (KBJ) Beauty Blogger Gathering (29/11/14)

Hello all,

last Saturday Kawaii Beauty Japan invited some of their beauty bloggers to a gathering, the gathering itself is to gather information about what's inspire the beauty bloggers in joining Kawaii Beauty Japan, motivating them to write more articles and anything related to the activity.

If you don't know what Kawaii Beauty Japan is, below is the information:

-*-

Don't forget to check more details directly to their website (shown on the image above).

-*-

These are the beauty bloggers who came during the gathering. It was quite private and intimate, the main idea is the relationship between beauty bloggers and the media. During the event, we also talk about so many things that are matter for us as beauty bloggers, so far, I found that Kawaii Beauty Japan is the most open media in terms of keeping their beauty bloggers updated.

Their site and newsletter also open to all, so even if you're not a beauty blogger, you can still join and don't forget to follow them on social medias such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram as they have daily tips on beauty, skincare, health, makeup, and/or anything related to the trend in Japan.

-*-

These are also the reasons I love KBJ, they always have beauty products from Japan which is not available here in Indonesia. I hope they can soon open an online shop here.

There's a drink that are filled with beauty goodness (it taste exactly like normal water), hydrating serum that penetrate instantly on the skin and Kate Super Sharp Eyeliner which I reviewed before.

-*-

My wish for KBJ is that they'll keep improving in becoming no.1 Japan beauty media in Indonesia, that brings more update beauty info and tips fresh from Japan.

As a beauty blogger, I also wish that KBJ will have more collaborations that involving trips to Japan ^^ whoot!!! I'm volunteering myself as their reporter for sure.

Many of the beauty bloggers who came wants KBJ to have more Japanese beauty products, giveaways and events too.

Let's hope that KBJ become more successful in the future.

-*-

See more about the gathering here in this video.

Thank you Kawaii Beauty Japan!!

Japan Beauty Tour Campaign

Hello everybody,

-*-

it's been a while since the launch of Japan Beauty Tour between Kawaii Beauty Japan and HIS Travel, here's the event report and share on the tour itself.

-*-

The event started with Yamato Sasagawa san introducing Kawaii Beauty Japan and the tour itself. This is the first tour in Indonesia that promote more about beauty in Japan.

As we may already know, there's a lot of tours to Japan, most of them are highlighting the culinary, theme parks and sightseeing, Japan Beauty Tour are adding one more brilliant note, the beauty.

-*-

In the event, the video of me and Tia having a great time in Japan are showed. We gets to try Yukata at Kiyora, get the new trendy outfit at Olive des Olive, dine in a famous sushi restaurant called Heiroku, highly recommended hair salon in Acqua Tua, and experience the life at the much anticipated location in the world, Harajuku-Omotesando.

-*-

Then the Q&A starts rolling, we shared how much we enjoy the trip and when everything was beyond our expectation, we see dedicated people in their field. I love how everyone was so positive, energetic and kind.

Their passions also shows in their work, I know that this is probably the Japanese culture, but more than that, they do work hard to achieve their best.

-*-

After the Q&A session it's Shunji Matsuo time, a live performance with a model from one of the beauty blogger attending the event.

-*-

Is it only one beauty blogger? Nope, look below, a lot of them came.

-*-

Thank you so much Kawaii Beauty Japan for this wonderful experience.

Behind The Scene of Japan Beauty Tour

Hello lovelies,

as some of you probably know, I went to Japan on 19th - 22nd of August 2014. The Beauty Tour is held by  H.I.S Travel Indonesia collaborating with www.kawaiibeautyjapan.com.

The first thing that come to my thought is finally, a beauty tour. Many women nowadays travel around the world for their beauty needs, this kind of tour is much needed and would help fill the needs that no other tour has.

Before finding out what kind of tour and everything in it, let me share with you behind the scenes, okay?!

At 19th of August,2014.

The flight took off at 23.30, it is almost midnight, we are taking a red eye. We? Yes, me and a representative from Kawaii Beauty Japan (KBJ), Istiarina Putri (Tia). We couldn't get much sleep on the plane, even thou there are many empty seats, so we can pretty much move around and use 3 seats for each of us.

In Garuda Indonesia the seats arrangement for economy class is 3-3-3, the internet check in is a breeze and I must say, they do provide the most friendly atmosphere for the passenger. One thing thou' even when the plane almost empty we didn't get a choice in terms of meal, there's suppose to be option for breakfast, Japanese and Western, we can only get a Japanese style which consist of porridge....and it's a bland one. Oh and they only provide one meal for the whole 8 hours flight. But if you're really hungry they do encourage you to go to the pantry and ask for something to munch.

-*-

That's me when we're almost arrived in Narita. I didn't get much sleep and didn't enjoy the entertainment as well.

Flying with Garuda Indonesia to Tokyo comes in two option, arriving in Haneda (which is closer to Tokyo and newer airport) or in Narita, like we do. I personally haven't been in Haneda, all my trips to Tokyo via Narita International Airport.

Right after arriving we're picked up by the representative from Rich Media (the company that owns KBJ). Since our hotel is conveniently connected with an Airport Limousine , we can just buy a bus ticket and arrived in front of the hotel.

-*-

I'm holding some ocha, a very common drink in Japan, I met my friend at the airport, she lives in Japan and she gave me those drinks, she is very thoughtful. She also gave me some fruits like peaches, they are not available in Indonesia but available in Japan since it's in season.

Fun fact! Do you know that most drinks in Japan is unsweetened. So don't be surprise when you bought yourself ocha and it is plain. It is healthier thou, and there's so many drinks with collagen. Women will love these.

After arriving at Shinjuku Washington Hotel, a hotel that pampered us with amenities fit for ladies, we took a quick shower and get ready for a meeting with Rich Media and HIS. About Shinjuku Washington Hotel, I'll share more in a different posts or you may take a look at my facebook: Carnellin Yulianti, where I share many pics of stuffs inside the room provided by the hotel.

-*-

Nice isn't it?! It's the view from our meeting room at Rich Media office. Everything looks clean, new and spotless. None of them looking messy, run down, or ... old. Everything looks new in here. Japanese really like to maintain everything at their best.

-*-

At the meeting we talked about the scripts, scenes, preparations and many more, I guess I'm not just a beauty blogger presenting the Beauty Tour, but I have to be involved in the planning as well. So many details need to be talked about and suddenly it's 6PM when it's finally done.

After finish, Shinohara san (PIC from Rich Media, the one who picked us up from the airport) took us for a walk around Shinjuku, Harajuku and Shibuya.

-*-

It is really nice and comfortable to walk around Tokyo, the city is safe and when walking we can feel the ambiance, interaction with the locals and see everything from shrine to famous shops. Below is a street at Harajuku, shoppers would definitely know this location and love everything about it. I really enjoy buying shoes, sandals, clothing and some snacks here. This is a very happening location for those who love everything trendy. Btw, there's a very cute dog clothing shop here.

-*-

Next stop is Hachiko, in front of Shibuya Station. A very famous site and it's also a place for meet up. Too bad during evening it is so close to smoking area. Oh yes, in Japan, even thou' it's in an open area, smoking is only allowed on designated areas.

-*-

Last stop before Shinohara san left us, is Disney Store. We managed to get there at 8.30 PM. 30 minutes before the store closed. The current hype...Tsum Tsum plushies ^__^ they come in several sizes, I bought two, Mickey and Minnie, I actually want to collect them all, but 500 Yen plus tax is definitely not cheap...but come to think of it, they are worth collecting, I should've buy more.

In Disney Store you can also buy tickets to Disneyland Resort and Disney Sea.

-*-

Not long after that, we find our way back home. Don't worry, in Tokyo, it is quite safe, but you really should know your way back using the train since taxi is quite steep. The cost of using taxi can be 10 times than using the train. Just download Tokyo Subway app, right down your current location and destination, ta da! It explains which station to go, transits (if needed) and final station. It also provide the surrounding landmark nearby.

Now, talking about app, you really need to download an app called Japan Free Wifi, it'll help you connect to the nearest free wifi, this app is really handy to keep yourself connected.

-*-

Back to the hotel, it was tiring alright since we have to walk around 10 minutes from the nearest station to our hotel. The guide said 5 minutes, but in heels and carrying shopping bags, 10 minutes already feels like marathon.

I enjoy the delicious peach, it was very sweet, juicy and I'm really glad my friend get me some of these. The vitamins are much needed for tomorrow's shooting.

-*-

After a simple breakfast at the next day, it's time to do the video shooting.
Both me and Tia are having our makeup done by the local make up artist. Looking at her portfolio and past creations, it is obvious, the Japanese like to keep everything simple and minimum. Since it is suitable for the day's theme, we opt for anything they put up to us.

-*-

Immediately after the makeup, we are moved to ACQUA tua. According to my friend who lives in Japan, this is a very famous hair salon. I'm excited, I'm gonna looked like a Japanese soon, and I did. After the makeup and hair done, I look like the models I see in a Japanese magazine. Complete with the style.

-*-

Above is me and Manami san, she is the one who cut my hair. She is very friendly and nice. When she cut my hair, she used different scissors, and all of them are very sharp. Usually in some salon I've been in Jakarta, my hair got pulled when cut, with her, none of my hair got pulled, it cut down nicely.

In Japan, it is common to cut the hair twice, once when it is wet and once more after it is dry, so the result is very precise. I really love my new bangs. She also trim the hair and reduce the volume of my curly hair.

-*-

Then we went to Laforet, yes, a very famous shopping place in Omotesandou Harajuku. The place is like a shopping plaza with all the cute attire, as in kawaii. So many brands and trends being set here, one of the brand that is famous for trendy girls is Olive des Olive.

The staff help pick an attire for me, she really know her brand and clothing very well, she take a look at me and decide which one is suitable for me. Her sense of fashion is admirable too, she mixed and match to found one that looks good and comfortable at the same time.

-*-

The video shooting continue with Yukata, a traditional Japanese clothing with many colors, prints and motifs. The hair also styled differently when using one. In here my hair got pulled hard, it is like the opposite of ACQUA where everything is so comfortable and pleasant. Maybe she's in a hurry. The good thing is that the staffs who helps me with Yukata doesn't seem to be in a hurry ^___^ gently they put the Yukata that I've picked on me. I'm using the pink sakura.

-*-

The process of using a Yukata can took around 30 minutes, carefully folding them in the right places and finally it fitted me nicely. It is so beautiful.

Yukata itself actually quite simple, compared to a kimono.

-*-

Oh yes, my hair also looks pretty, the process might not be pleasant but look at the result, a pretty flowers on my head with a cute bun.

After the Yukata is put on (oh btw, there's an inner white clothing they provide before putting on Yukata) the waist is held by another fabric. This is also comes in many colors, motifs and design. How they are folding it also determines who it will appear in the end. There are many ways of folding it. Later you can see, on me and Tia, the material folded on our waist is folded differently.

-*-

It may look like there's so many layers and material, but they are all comfortable and light. The Yukata and the inner wear is 100% cotton, making sure comfort and style is very well presented.

You may try renting one at Kiyora kimono rental.

-*-

Last stop, sushi place at Heiroku.

A famous eatery where tourists can enjoy sushi without worries. 1. Their adapt the delicacies to foreigners tongue (where the wasabi is put less or none). 2. The menu is in English and clear images. 3. They always have a staff who can speak English very well and help us order the recommendation.

I personally like the beef tongue recommended by the chef.

-*-

Below is me, Tia and the chef who can speaks English.

Arigatou! Your sushi are delicious and very much addictive!

-*-

That's it! We are at the finishing stage of shooting the video for Japan Beauty Tour.

-*-

After wrapping up, both me and Tia has to go with the crew to their office near Harajuku. In the office we chance our clothes...bye bye Yukata... and then Tia has to fill in the naration. Around 7.30PM we finally have our free time. We walked around Harajuku once more to shop.

We have a meal at Gindaco for their famous tako ball or takoyaki and Tia is having a taiyaki. Not long after that we went to Shibuya and Shinjuku to shop once more.

Then we are both beat, haha! Like literally exhausted. Lack of sleeps and constant walking has depleted our energy. It's time for us to go back to the hotel and rest since the next day our flight depart at 12 noon and we have to leave the hotel at 8 AM so we can be at the airport before 10 AM.

There are many funny, happy, sad, exciting and even exhausting moments throughout this journey, but I'm glad I did it, I'm glad KBJ picked me and send me to Japan for this Beauty Tour. In here I learn a lot about Japanese culture, habits, and values even more. I'm really touched by the kindness and preservation, their attention to details and how they keep their heritage and culture at one side while still embracing the modern trend alive. I get to experience things that I never knew before or at least try as a first hand. I worn Yukata, a real Yukata for the first time, with my hair and all, I get to experience and feel the clothe, the hands who help me used it, how they fold it and why, the hair style when using Yukata, the pins, the flowers, the cute dress from Olive des Olive, the young staff who help me find my perfect kawaii modern dress, the staffs at ACQUA that is so dedicated and talented, the friendly chefs at Heiroku, the delightful meals there, even the nasty natto, to the pretty set of sushi platers, the shopping places, the stores, all the people we met, the smile,...... it is all the beauty of Japan.
そのすべてに、どうもありがとうございました
