Get The Right Base with ULTIMA II

Hello everyone,

in this post I would like to talk about setting up a base makeup on daily basis or special occasion.

In this opportunity, the product used would be ULTIMA II.

I have the Delicate Creme Powder Makeup and Translucent Face Powder with Moisturizer. I have been using these babies for years, apparently I've made a review for the Delicate Creme Powder Makeup as well, here it is, CLICK ME. And I can't even remember why I haven't made a review for the loose powder, I've use it almost daily too.

Oh well, I'll make one soon.

Now, let's see what can we know about the creme makeup:

• It’s a foundation compact that contains collagen, which support the skin care that has already been used before.
• It has special formula that can cover any flaw and create poreless perfect face final look.
• It’s very suitable for those who love Korean makeup (glowing).
• It has medium to full coverage that looks like your second skin.
• There six shades available: Ivory, Bisque, Peach, Buff, Beige, and Ochre

and the loose powder

• It coats the skin perfectly with a thin layer, disguises flaws, and hides fine lines through optical illusions created by micro shimmers in the powder.  
• The packaging system has “dispenser mechanism” which makes it easier to dispense powder economically.
• It is designed precisely to enhance the final result of the radiant makeup naturally.

I'm using the Delicate Creme Powder Makeup (or creme makeup) and Translucent Face Powder  with Moisturizer (or loose powder)  as my makeup base, right before color makeup.

First, I'll finish prepping the skin using the right skincare, and then I'll start with the creme makeup.

There are several ways I can use the product, still the key is to “tap & press the areas, do not drag the puff” when using the puff provided.

And I can also use my favorite brush as the applicator, it works like wonders too.

Whether the creme makeup and the loose powder. I use a flat foundie brush for the creme makeup since the texture is creamy. I can just tap several time and apply, keep on adding the layers as needed and the skin will become flawless, it helps covering skin imperfection, from large pores, fine lines, and uneven skin tone or discoloration.

The creme makeup is velvety, but those who wants a powdery or matter finish may add the loose powder, or at least to help set the base.

The loose powder is fine, fragrant and gives the skin a nice comfort that help the makeup base last longer throughout the day. You can add some when needed and feels fresh again.

And then add some color makeup after the makeup base is set. Above is my daily look using the product, Just pick one creme makeup according to my skin shade, blends, add loose powder afterwards and color makeup.

I can bring them everywhere, during facial treatments, work and so on.

These two are enough as a makeup base.

Or I can use them as followed.

Above is my skin condition as before. I dotted some creme makeup in ivory on areas I want them to be fairer or highlighted. Like on the lower forehead, nose bridge, upper cheeks, below the eyebrow and for me, the center of my chin and right on the philtrum.

And then, I added some dots made from creme makeup in buff, on areas that I want them to be darker, as in for contouring. Such as below the cheekbones, outer side of the nose, jawline and upper area of my forehead.

Using a sponge made to blend makeup base in 'wet' texture, I dab around and blends.

This technique gives me a 3D look, instead of a one tone makeup base.

What do I do with the shade peach? Dab it as a concealer on areas like under my nose, under the eyes, and where there's acne mark.

Dab them gently to help them blend, and they are easily blendable too. The creamy formula is perfect for skin with imperfection as it gives ample coverage, look at the finished image below after using the loose powder in neutral, my skin look flawless, well defined and still natural.

No large pores visible, hides all fine lines, and since it doesn't dries out the skin, it is comfortable for longer wear, like the whole day. Just dust some loose powder every now and then to add the hours.

I love to see my skin looking like I'm not wearing any makeup but spotless.

After the base is completed, I'm adding some colors and I'm done. Ready for an event and I look great!

Start from the skincare, base makeup and color, all of them are working hand in hand to create a perfect look we'll love to be in for the whole day. It boost confident, positiveness and the right attitude to face the day.

The loose powder in pink shell with a hint of pinkness. Suitable for fair skin as it add a hint of rosiness and away from dull nor pale looking skin. I was told by one of my favorite makeup artist that a pink shade is perfect for mature skin as it gives their skin a better look and finish, especially during photoshoot.

Neutral tone is made for just about anyone. It is beige, natural in shade and pretty much transparent as it blends on the skin well and gives a nice dusting as a finishing powder too. Use it with the puff provided or large round brush.

Ultima II Delicate Shine Blush

Hello lovelies,

lately I've been using this amazing blush which I have been taken for granted for this past few...years. I know! I have one a few years ago and I thought I didn't like it, well actually, doesn't even give it a chance and try it, so I gave it away.

I love blushes, so I have plenty and really thought this one is not one that I will cherish, oh how wrong I am.

I have several shade of Delicate Shine Blush, the one I remember is Wine (deeper pink and red than this one) and the one I'm showing (off) right now is Sahara Rose. And I just love it.

It is pink with a hint of red and soft terracotta, but mostly it was bright reddish pink.

The packaging, details and container is suffice.

The ingredients are written clearly on the box and yes, it still contain paraben and other ingredients that won't be allowed soon worldwide due to risk of health.

I don't know what to say really, I wish I can only review products that are 100% safe, but the word 100% safe itself is kinda difficult as even the FDA will allowed parts of animals on the food if it's less than a certain percentage. So perhaps now the key is to use it as less as possible or when needed without being too much.

The result of the blush can be as faint and soft as the image above, or add layers and layers using a soft brush like the image below.

I don't use the brush inside the container, I find mine to be a lot better and finer too.

The particle of the blush is fine and beautiful. Just be careful not to press the brush too much to avoid an overuse. Add a bit of highlighter on the upper cheek before the bush for that 3D glow that works really well with the blush. Surely the Shine Blush doesn't hide shine, it complement it.

The blush last around 4-6 hours on me, easily buildable and easily clean as well with any makeup remover.

They gave me two shades, one in Ruby and one in Raspberry.

Look how pretty the colors are and yes, definitely suitable for daily use. They look comfortable, pigmented and gives ample coverage to the lips.

And I was right, the product felt so comfortable on the lips, it is moisturizing and creamy but not too much. It felt just right and the coverage also very good. Ruby and Raspberry looks similar on my lips, pinkish red while the Raspberry has a hint of chocolate color.

Look how good the coverage is, it's so delicate yet pretty powerful as well for daily use. When cleaned, the lipstick doesn't leave a stain on the lips.

The formula is not waterproof and does transfer easily.

Overall,

A great lipstick with wonderful coverage and smooth texture on the lips. Comes in shades that are suitable for everyday use. Has a subtle moisturizing effect, no known scent, and need to be reapplied whenever touched.

Ultima II Delicate Creme Powder Makeup

This is Ultima II Delicate Creme Powder Makeup. A compact powder that has a creamy texture that acts like a foundation and powder that covers skin imperfection in a go.

The duo cake powder can be used alone as a base or after a foundation/CC/ BB Cream is applied for a maximum coverage. The texture of the powder is soft and comfortable to be used. I think the product itself suits those who looks for a medium coverage (when used alone) that fits for daily lifestyle without looking like using too much makeup.

The product comes in several shades that fits Asian skin tones just nice. Mine is the fairest, in Ivory.

I'm using the compact powder after a sheer BB Cream is applied, the compact powder from Ultima II has no problem on my skin, it felt so smooth and doesn't look cakey at all.

I really like the finish look of using the Creme Powder Makeup. But if you want to prolonged the look, add some loose powder at the end of the makeup and as a touch ups.

Ultima II Pondok Indah Mall Counter Relaunch

Hi everybody,

a few days ago, I was invited by Ultima II to experience their newly designed counter at Mal Pondok Indah I.

A more clean, sleek, and luxurious design with clear glass and black hues of Ultima II seems more appealing. According to the staffs at the counter, some of the products also gets a makeover in a prettier packaging.

Arrays of makeup and skincare is on the elegant display, one of the highlights from the skincare is ProCollagen Extrema which contain soluble collagen, procollagen, and atellocollagen that helps the skin to stay firm and supple.

In the counter, we can experience consultation with beauty advisor and help us in getting skincare and makeup tips.

During Ultima II Counter Celebration, customer can participate in a beauty class, free facial, and skin check. Ultima II also have a make up demo with the winner of Wonderwear Professional Make Up Competition, Arief Anang as a support for the Make Up Artist community.

During the visit, I'm enjoying their facial using products from Ultima II for sensitive skin. From cleansing oil, scrub, cleanser, vacuuming the pores, mask, toner, serum and moisturizer with care from Ultima II, my skin feels so soft afterwards.

After the facial, the skin get checked using Janus. I'm not allowed to use any makeup up to 2 hours after facial, hence the naked skin all over this post >.+

Within a minute the machine gets to check my pores, wrinkles, sebum, spots, future spots, bacteria, and skin tone.

The result is explained and printed to anyone who wants to get their skin tested. And we can really understand the skin's need.

My skin is awfully dry and the bacteria activity is still high, yikes, need more of that anti bacterial products for sure and boost up the hydration, please.

After the facial and skin check, since I still not allowed to use makeup, I look around at their products and went home with an eyeliner and loose powder.
