some time ago, I went to Inaria Spa during their grand and official opening. After a while with the status 'soft opening' now Inaria Spa at Intercontinental Hotel are in full service with every little details taken care of. I see perfection in almost every corner and wish for a perfected one in the near future, but for me so far, Inaria Spa is one of the best hotel spa in Jakarta.

I went here with an invitation from Juara as well, why? Since Juara has their own two signature treatment at Inaria Spa, one for the body (body polish) and one for the face (Juara Signature Facial Treatment) in which I tried on that day. Juara products also sold at the premise.

Impressive isn't it? From the spa concept and execution it's all well planed. Everything start from the entrance where they have Inaria Spa logo and there's a herb and spices bar where we can see all the ingredients introducing the key factor of their spa. Moreover, everything is chosen by the grades, so they don't just collect any ginger or tumeric on the market, they choose them from reputable supplier for best quality possible.

Is everything great here? For me, almost,
I do have minor suggestion, some tiles at hot and cold bath in the changing room need better finishing as some particles are coming off and it rather weird, like plastic residue here and there wherever I sat. But other than that, it's wonderful.

I understand that this is their final renovation and it's sometime can be challenging with these tiny details but I'm sure, they'll get it.

And talking about their changing room (which is facility in the Spa which you can freely use with any treatment that you  bought) is amazing. Most 5 stars hotels around the world has these facilities but nowadays they kinda reducing, lowering their budget and so on, well, Inaria Spa is making me excited again, I love all of these extras, like their sauna and steam rooms too along with an ice bath.

Walk further from the changing room (separated from men and women) there's an area where you could just relax and unwind. Before or mostly after a spa, we sometime doesn't want to get back to reality just yet, we like to pause and take a moment or perhaps have a sip of coffee or tea, we can, in a semi private area with dimmed light.

Now, let's go back to Juara since the main reason I'm here is to try their Signature Facial Treatment, all of the showcase are about Juara Beauty products and what they offer to every customer. Yes, there are other treatments also offered by Inaria Spa.

Those who followed by instagram @Carnellin must have known about the IG stories I put where I walked into so many rooms with many treatments offered as well.

The rooms also offered options for certain treatment or situation like there's rooms for singles and 1 room for couple. All of them consist of a shower room and bath room for couple. There's one special bed for Madura's treatment, kinda like a shiatsu where the therapist will hold on on top, so her body weight is contained properly. Some of the staffs said that the treatment is more famous with the male patrons as I think the massage could be more suitable as deep tissue. It does help loosen up those stiff muscles on shoulder areas or others like their back or thighs. Some athletes who prolonged a certain exorcise also need help with their waist, hopefully someday I can try this treatment too.

Below is Juara's body polish and body cream with candle-nut, the smells is so good and somehow calming yet relaxing. I really love their products especially these. They both made my skin feels so smooth and comfortable. First apply the body polish, it will help remove all dead skin cells and then boost micro circulation, rinse everything off after a few circular massaging movement, apply the body cream until absorbed and enjoy the sensual and soft feeling of your feels-like-new skin that also smells so aromatic and fragrant.

I do recommend trying Juara Signature Facial Treatment for being so good and super comfortable. My skin feels moist and I'm relaxed from head and toes and it skipped most part of the body heehee. But next time I'll come back to try on their body treatment.

The treatment starts with cleansing the food with massage and scrubs too. And then we moved on to the bed. I look like I'm naked there but no worries, disposable panties is provided along with body robe, shower cap, slippers and everything you possibly need like hair dryer, body lotions, shampoo, conditioner, body shop, and fresh clean towels in your private room.

The face is cleaned, massaged, pampers with deep cleansing, exfoliating, mask and sealed everything off with serum and moisturizer, all by Juara.

Oya Clinic Body Shaping 2nd Treatment

I'm back with another Body Shaping Treatment at Oya Clinic. This time, I'm trying on the same treatment but in different branch, it's in their main one in Menteng area.

The location is near many famous restaurants and the designs inside the clinic is gorgeous.

After arriving, within 5 minutes my room is ready. Hmm, it's not as clean as usual, there's still some leftovers from the previous client on the open trash can with items for private part. I think they could be better than this, on my other visits it was fine and clean.

After undressing and get into a disposable pants and bra, the treatment begin with something for lymphatic, a machine suck the sides of my neck, it's like suction cups used in TCM. It felt comfortable, I wish the therapist helps with my shoulders too >.<

Soon after that, continuing using a warm to hot metal plate that rubbed all over the area. We can choose an area per treatment. The therapist said, usually it took around 10 treatments for a significant effect.... or at least for someone like me haha.

The Body Shaping treatment at Menteng branch is indeed more comfortable, no electric feeling on this part, it was just warm with a bit of heat at some point, I hope it melts away all my fat.

The therapist seems to be working hard melting my fats, hmm 5 kg of overweight is there, do melts them away please, I want them all gone, disappear and made me slim :D

 The therapist told me that the effectiveness also lays on the hands of those who do the treatment, so it's not just about the machine, the therapist must know which part to do it more and which is less. So even on one area of tummy, there are several areas from upper, lower, sides and back too. Mine is focusing on the front, upper side to be exact.

And then, it's that buzzing time, the part where my tummy is wrapped on special cream and the rubbery plates that felt so cold (since the previous part is warm to hot), and it was 'plastered' tight to my tummy all around the area.

This is the toning part where it helps strengthening the muscle, creating the same vibration as when we're exercising to build the firmness. This is the part where every part of the treatment combine, after being melts, it toned and firmed. This is why one treatment is equal with hours in the gym where we need to warm up, cardio and build the muscle.

And the final part is sucking again on some parts of the tummy. It felt somewhat pain on the lower tummy where the skin is loose after pregnancy. So the therapist move it up above, so communicating with the therapist all the way through the treatment is important to making sure it was effective and convenient at the same time.

And here it is, the final result, there are no redness, no after care needed, the skin feels comfortable and toned. It helps building up my body even after the treatment, the doctor also did told me how the treatment goes, it will continue working even after treatment.

What about the measurement? I lost 5 cm that day, definitely an improvement I like to have. Now I just need to keep up with continuing exercise, proper diet and more of these treatments please.

JPP Skin Laser Clinic with Avene

yesterday, I went to JPP Skin Laser Clinic to try on one of their signature treatment. The location of the clinic is at Central Park Mall lower ground area.

The place is near every other beauty treatments on that same floor.

JPP itself has 5 clinics in Jakarta, from Emporium Mall, Kota Kasablanca, Lippo Mal Kemang, Mal Kelapa Gading, and here, Central Park Mall in west Jakarta.

The clinic has a white luxurious minimalist design, sleek and looks pretty with a dash of red.

On the right side near the entrance, there's a place specially reserved for Avene.

The treatment today will be Avene with non-invansive laser treatment for me. The name of the treatment is Laser & Light Skin Rejuvenation.

Laser & Light Skin Rejuvenation

As we age, collagen breaks down, causing lines and wrinkles. Sun exposure damages collagen too and can cause pigment problems (brown spots), uneven tone and rought or leathery texture.

The first thing need to be done before the treatment start is that the therapist ask me some questions and there's consultation time where they explained everything from how safe it is, no downtime, fast, and what I'll experience during the treatment. It was pretty clear and they explain everything well, hence anyone who come can rest assured that the staffs will deliberate all the necessary information regarding the treatment.

There are several treatment you can choose in the clinic, and they also have invasive treatment for those who have scar issues or other problems, so do consult with the doctors first before proceeding Appointment also needed to make sure the efficiency of everyone's time.

After all the details are passed, they let me in and I have my own bed. My skin was cleansed using products from Avene before the procedure is done. The therapist repeatedly commented on my acne, yes, that one acne that happen to emerge during my PMS and she made a huge deal out of it on how I needed the whole Avene Cleanance set for that one acne.

Friends, one acne during one time of a month doesn't meant you have acne prone skin, so if someone suggest or insist you have a certain type of skin when it is not your everyday problem, don't listen to them.

The way the therapist kept focusing on that one acne made me feel very uncomfortable, I hope they can improve on that part.

Nevertheless, the rest of the treatment went well, the doctor is very kind and gentle, she hears me when I said I can't really tolerate paint and she reduce the level for the laser, which made the laser
treatment comfortable.

The light treatment is done by that same therapist again and she still doesn't leave my acne alone. And even after I said my skin is really dry, she is focusing on that one single acne (frustrating, I know), and in the end when the light therapy is done, she only want to give me sunscreen, without any moisturizer, when I ask for a moisturizer, she asked the doctor first, when the doctor said yes, she then gave me some (oh dear).

I wish the therapist could be a bit more sensitive and observing, she can learn it from the doctor on how to deal with clients and how to appear more caring to their needs instead of ehm, selling the products.

Avene itself is a brand with products that doesn't really need to be advertise thanks to it's quality, linked to the treatment, Avene products calmed the skin immediately and the spray helps cools down the skin too.

Overall, was it a good experience, hmm, the laser and light treatment itself is good and the doctor is very nice, there are rooms for improvements for the therapist.

Laser treatment has become a huge trend in Jakarta and the world too, it give people faster results and visible too. So there's a lot of competition there and customers will surely choose the ones that best for them in terms of budget, quality and experience.

Oya Clinic Relaxing Treatment

some time ago, like perhaps, almost 6-9 months :D I was invited by Oya Clinic for an event at one of the most prestigious location in the town.

As usual, Oya Clinic is presenting their most proud treatments which I yet to try. Ulthera and their famous face and body shaping treatments.

On the event, they also share a bit about Oya's backgrounds and all the breakthrough they've made.

One of their patented item is the sticky gel-like brown creams that are used during the treatment. A special formula created by Oya.

A live demo of face shaping is shown during the event and all the guess can freely ask or even try a bit.

It was a brief but concluded presentation, I think everyone get the idea of how the treatment works. I've also tried their facial shaping and enjoying every little bit of it. Their treatments are comfortable and doesn't involve pain.

After the event, I'm given a voucher to try their Relaxing Treatment, which I just had today heehee. Yes, I've been really busy and postponing pleasure.

The treatment took around 60 minutes. Start with cleansing, scrub, and then they use this metal thingy that 'collect' dead skin cells and things that can be obtain like white heads, they found quite a lot around the nose. The procedure is not as painful as extraction but the pointy areas does feel a bit, like scrapping the skin.

Continue with the massage, which I think worth every minute of it and so relaxing. I'm kinda addicted to the massage and would love going back for the massage alone. The technique itself is superb.

Followed by a mask, a usual paper mask that we seen a lot in the market that helps hydration.

After 20 minutes of using the mask, the skin is prep with moisturizer and sun protection.

Thank you so much Oya Clinic, this is one of the best facial I've had in years. My skin feels and looks so clean and the massage given by the therapist is spot on. Ease out all the stresses away.

Upon arrival after registration, I immediately sign up for the Skin Rejuvenation treatment. A quick 15 minute beauty treatment that help boost collagen, even out skin tone, and reducing dark spots.

Before heading to the treatment room, I was having a quick tour to see a bit of everything. Aside from the front desk, there's another waiting room inside. Right in front of consultation room.

Comfy couch, TV, and calming relaxing ambiance.

Soon after, I was escorted to the treatment room in scenic green.

Arrays of medical properties, cleanser, lotions, cottons are set well on the rack. Between each customer are divided using a curtain, perhaps this room suitable for couple as well, just open the curtain and it become one bigger room.

The light is suffice in this room, so the doctors or therapist can perform under a well-lid room.

The face is cleaned, then a cool gel is applied before the doctor enters the room and using the same device for removing the hair.

It was fast, far from pain and suitable for anyone who need an instant rejuvenation so the skin appear fresher.

Since I was alone and it was quite a busy day, no extra staff available to help me took images, plus my eyes are closed during the treatment hence I can't share with you the images during the treatment, sorry.

But I can share the feeling during the treatment, it was super fast and felt like nothing. Forget about painful facials and unnecessary treatments when you can do a skin rejuvenation under 15 minutes. You can simply do it during lunch hour.

At the back side of the long corridor there's a beautiful changing room, complete with hair brush, cottons, and simple toiletries for anyone. Including lockers and shower room too. For those who are doing a hair removal all over their body perhaps can enjoy a cool shower after the treatment if they feel like it.

It was very convenient.

Soon after that I went on to the event, it was held on the restaurant 2 floors above Zap. So Zap is located at the basement or LG of Hotel Oria.

Zap has a motto, "Discover Your Confidence", but I think beside from that Zap also in sync with their program where everyone can have beauty treatments in the quickest time without wasting their time and money. A lot of their treatments are affordable.

I do have several opinions though, since I've tried some of their treatments, I do think that the Photo Facials and Skin Rejuvenation worth trying.

While the hair removal is kinda personal, in terms of depends on your hormonal growth and pain tolerance. I'm not a fan of their hair removal treatment since it was kinda painful for me. Each blink is like a sharp ant bites that hurts. I prefer other place since I've tried almost every hair removal offered in the market. But again, it's personal, and I think I have zero tolerance against pain.

Zap believes in investing in your skin. Kinda like my philosophy too, like the best thing I can always flaunt is my skin condition. I love when people kept asking how old I really is, I'm really 35 and my skin looks 27. I do take care my skin on daily basis, using the right product and method too, at least I hope I do.

After a brief welcoming speech from the owner of Zap, a bit of testimonial from Harumi and Q&A's session with the doctor, we are went home with products to try.

Aside from their beauty treatments, Zap also offer some skincare. I was given skincare for acne prone skin. Anyone who knows me must have known that I do not have acne prone skin, never have, never will. I do insist on giving me other set, but the therapist said that the doctor recommend me the acne set.

I have a very dry skin and sensitive too, but I do not have acne. I do have once in a while, like one acne when I'm having my period, but that's it. The dryness are actually visible and a problem that need more attention than a single acne to be prescribed with the whole products for acne which of course are drying and made my skin condition even worse.

The cleanser are perfect for those with oily skin, it was drying and the skin feels tight afterwards. I'm not recommending the cleanser for anyone with dry skin like mine, I think it's too strong.

Do I let the products goes to waste? Never!
My husband has an oily skin and acne prone too, he's been using the products and guess what?! He enjoys using them! He says it was perfect, it doesn't make his skin dry nor oily, it made his skin in the 'right zone' .

All the creams, the morning and nights all feel comfortable on him. He said he has no complains whatsoever. I guess the products are truly made for acne skin prone and those who are oily too.

The creams are all look similar to me, the texture is a tad different one to another but has the similar consistency. The feeling is comfortable (according to my husband) and doesn't leave his skin greasy nor oily.

It is scentless and I can see that there's expired dates on each container.

These are similar to other 'obat dokter' in terms of packaging and products but the formula perhaps are made specially by Zap using their secret formula.

Aside from the underarm brightening cream which is creamy and only suitable for me to use it during night time (since during day time it made the deodorant becomes icky and just weird), it was mild and comfortable. But when used daily it feels a bit like whitening products that slowly exfoliating the skin and can lead to sensitivity. So I tend to use it around 2 times a week instead of on daily basis.

And this Lip Blush, another 'cute' product from Zap that made the lips appear softer and has that pink hue.

I've seen this kind of products on the market where it was made not just for lips. Perhaps it is similar.

The thing is, I like to see Zap keep adding new items to their collection and I hope they also keep adding treatments that are fast, effective, and affordable too. Aside from that, opening more branches so they become more approachable in so many areas.

Last but not least, do add a line for dry and sensitive skin like mine, so I can also try using your home care products.
