Alovivi Premium Mask

Hello lovelies,

who doesn't love face mask, they become a huge hits everywhere simply because they worked! The essence or serum inside a mask is doubled, tripled to even 10 times more than regular serum and the absorption increases as well. We leave a mask on our face for 15-20 minutes and some mask can be up to 30 minutes too which make the product have ample time to goes beyond what normal skincare do, especially if we massage the skin after the mask is taken off.

Alovivi comes with a Premium Mask (dressed in pink) that promises results within each use.

I'm using the mask on a cleaned skin, after using toner and serum, now this is optional (the serum) you can clean and use toner before the mask or add a serum after toner, as it increases the nourishing and moist value as my skin is pretty dry.

But as it is, the mask works great.

The mask is rather big for my face, so those with normal or bigger face feature can rest assure it will fit. The mask is so thick and juicy, I love the fact that it contains ceramide, the ingredient is well known in keeping the skin moist. Lack of ceramide made the skin dry. This mask promote nourishment and hydration since we all know that's what aloe vera and hyaluronic acid do. While Fullerene  is unknown for me (some say it is a controversial ingredient in skincare) and EGF means epidermal growth factor.

So, considering the ingredients, I think it is best to use it once a while and not everyday on daily basis. It's the fullerene alone is the one that concern me, still since the effect is still not really certain, I think it's best to stay safe than sorry, nevertheless I sure they already went through some procedure and calculation on delivering safe product for the market.

After using the mask, the skin become so moist, and the softening effect also very much enjoyed by me, using moisturizer afterwards to seal the moist in also helps in making the condition last longer. I love how dewy my skin has become.

Alovivi Orange Balm

this is perhaps one of the product that interest me the most when I first arrived at the product launching with Suika Beauty. The container maybe common for a beauty balm, but the citrus details on top and when I open it, it have that delicious citrus scent that both refreshing and addictive for me. It somehow boost the mood.

Beauty Balm gas been a huge hit in Japan since it is so multi-functional from face, heels, elbows, body, and oh well, anywhere, even to tidy up tiny hairs and help minimize the visibility of flyaway to split ends. Don't use it too much on the hair thou', just enough using the lightest touch bit by bit.

Wenzhou mandarin peel extract * 1 , Yuzu ceramide * 2 , vitamin C derivative * 3 , coenzyme Q 10 * 4 , vaseline formulation for smooth skin all over! Slightly, the fragrance of tangerines oranges! Ceramides containing ceramides (moisturizing components) of

4 types * 5 are one of the components with high
familiarity and penetrability to skin * 1 . Moisturizing effect is high, there is also a water retention effect that does not miss the given moisture, moisture lasts for a long time.

Wenzhou mandarin peel extract * 1 (moisturizing ingredient) compounded
Wenzhou (Unsu) Mandarin oranges are commonly referred to as "oranges". It contains ingredients such as vitamins and minerals, citric acid, etc., moisturizes your skin and arranges the texture.

It is said that it is extracted from yuzu (Yuzu) which contains Yuzu ceramide * 2 (moisturizing ingredient)

On the face, it somewhat looks like the image above, it is glowing alright but doesn't feel sticky not too oily, it's very much comfortable for me, especially for night care or during traveling when the temperature is cold and dry. It help seals the moisture longer and better than any moisturizer.

I can skip any powder too when using it in dry climate, just add color.

For in Indonesia, where it is humid, the powder is important to make the makeup stays where it is, so after adding base and other makeup, I look like the photo below, not greasy at all and surprisingly my skin looks good, not oily, just a bit gloss.

Waking up in the morning, my skin is more nourished and comfortable, no dryness or feeling like pulled.

Add a bit of a balm with a touch of lipstick to become a cheek cream. Or put it on the lips so the lips stays moist and make the lipstick appear sheer. For eyeshadow, a bit of it goes a long way, it add dimension and glow.

Alovivi and Purevivi Launch in Jakarta

last weekend, Suika Beauty invited me to an event that announce the coming of Alovivi and Purevivi in Jakarta. These two brands are from Japan (figured from the name, right?!), hence I'm excited to see whether I know them or not, or at least get to know them better.

Alovivi itself related to aloe vera as their main ingredient. They have tons of products in the Alovivi and a few from Purevivi, Purevivi is more to the cleansing items.

The event is held in Gandaria area and begins with a presentation by the representatives from Japan.

Since all the ladies are from Japan, a translator is needed during the presentation. The lady in black is the translator and the rest are from Japan introducing the products. How to use them, what is the function and what are the benefits in using the products. I'll share with you one by one on the post below.

Most of the products are put on the table for every guests to try. There's skin balm (which is a trend in Japan right now, the beauty stores are filled with skin balm nowadays), moisturizing water, cleansing water, cleansing wipes, gel, lipstick and eyeliner too.

They all look so pretty, I love Japanese products since the design is so clean, simple, yet effective in details.

The texture is really like a balm and the scent is so refreshingly citrus. Anyone who love orange will enjoy smelling it every now and then.

The scent may last for around an hour but the balm is still there layering the skin with moisturizer. The feeling could be a bit sticky when used too much. I advise using it on a damp skin.

The next one I tried on the spot is their lipstick, since it was new, sealed and haven't been used, I can put it on my lips directly. The color is red and a bit sheer, a typical Japanese lippies, they love sheer lipstick. But we can continue layering it for a bolder look, still, the trend is different from the west.

We (Asian) prefer to have our skin conditioned to be nourished and well taken care off so we don't need to use too much makeup, that's why skincare is so important. One of the product, that I think is one of the highlight, is their gel.

Aside from the Skin Balm, all in one gel also a huge hits, even on department stores that sells souvenirs are these all in one gel. I happen to bought a few from Japan during my recent trips. In Hokkaido I see many skin balm where in Osaka or Kansai area, I see many all in one gel. These gels are famous during summer as it cools the skin too with light moisturizing effect, suitable for humid weather.

And there's mask too, I'll review it soon since it is one of the products given in the goody bag. Aside from the products to bring home, we can purchase some of them on the spot too. I bought their number 1 cleanser from Purevivi that won Cosme award. An award that get many attention in Japan since it is real and based on customers review.
