kinds of products packed in a basket, they are:

Purifying Neem Scrub
Lip Balm
Clear Complexion Whitening Day Cream
Toothpaste
Gentle Exfoliating Daily face Wash

Purifying Neem Mask

-*-

Please do watch my video for a short introduction of the products:

-*-

And here are some of the reviews for the products already in use by me ^__^

-*-

All details by www.himalayaherbals.com

A purifying mask that helps to regulate excess oil secretion, cleans clogged pores and prevents the recurrence of pimples. Neem, well-known for its purifying and antibacterial properties, helps in controlling acne and pimples, and their recurrence. Combines with Turmeric, it helps remove acne-causing bacteria. Fuller's Earth (Multani Mitti) cools and soothes the skin, improving skin texture and leaving you with clear, problem-free skin.

Key Ingredients:

  • Fuller's Earth, Neem, Turmeric.

Directions for use:

Apply evenly over cleaned face and neck, avoiding the area around the eyes. Allow to dry for 10-15 minutes. Removes with a wet sponge and wash with cool water. Use once or twice a week. Do not apply on broken or inflamed skin.

-*-

Since some parts of my skin is dry and not oily nor in the category needing the mask, I only put it on the area that do. The areas in which most of the bacterias are found. Nose and chin where it is acne prone.

The product contain kaolin and other natural ingredients that made it possible to kills bacteria and help heal acne, 'absorb' sebum and grease on the skin. After using the mask I can see the immediate result, very clean and oil free skin. It is a different kind of clean than regular cleansing. It's like it deep cleanse the skin and takes all impurities. I do recommend oily skin type to try this and see the immediate result of using it.

The mask itself feels plain, I don't feel any discomfort whatsoever. The look and the texture may look yucky but the smell is fragrant and gentle enough for the skin. When it is drying on the skin, I feel a bit tight, because the material is hardening when used. Which make cleaning it a bit tricky, I dislike repeatedly wiping it off with a cloth, so I just make them really wet by splashing it a few times, then gently massage the hardened mask, and splash some water again, and keep repeating this sequence until they break off by itself without any force.

Recommended to be used when needed, my normal to dry skin need to use it around twice a month.

Next is the lip balm, like mentioned in the video, it smells like bubble gum ^__^ for me the lip balm is like any other good quality lip balm I've used, but this one contains more natural ingredients than chemicals.
Enriched with wheatgerm oil, a rich source of vitamine E, Himalaya Herbals lip balm nourishes and softens your lips. It also contains Carrot seed oil, a natural sunscreen, to protect your lips from the harsh UV rays of the sun.

Key Ingredients:

  • Carrot seed, Castor, Coconut, wheatgerm.
The texture is a cloudy gel with slippery effect. Suitable for those who are looking for a lip balm with mild glossy effect. It embalms the lips with a bit of oily feeling.

Next is the Complete Care Herbal Toothpaste, a product which I brought to Japan with me.

Actually, I really want to bring them all, it's a good thing I didn't, apparently I don't have enough time to do them all and the luggage has completely bloated anyway.

-*-
Complete Care Herbal Toothpaste is an advanced herbal formulation that ensures your gums remain healthy and protected. Its Gum Expert Formula, with herbal actives of Miswak, Neem and Pomegranate, helps prevent gum inflammation, reduces gum bleeding and keeps them healthy.
Key Ingredients:
  • Miswak and Babool
  • Neem
  • Pomegranate
Directions for use:
Brush thoroughly, at least twice a day or as directed by a dentist or physician.
Children 6 years or below should have adult supervision and use only a pea-sized amount. Do not swallow. Spit and rinse thoroughly after brushing.

-*-

I'm a accustomed in using the toothpaste all the way from side to side of the brushes, so this toothpaste apparently only need a pea sized amount and it doesn't lie. A little really goes along the way, the milky gray colored toothpaste is thick and rich. It cleans the teeth really well, almost like a polishing effect all over.

I don't really have a gum problem but so does when using this toothpaste. A clean and light minty feeling is acquired with one more specialty, there's a freshness unlike other toothpaste with just mints.

I don't know which ingredients does that, it keep the mouth feeling and smelling fresh longer and better than most toothpaste I know. It's the feeling that you could only understand after trying it ^__^

Am I done trying them? Not yet! This cleanser is next along with more products from Himalaya Herbals, stay tune ya!

Thank you Himalaya Herbals Indonesia.

Original Source Mint & Tea Tree

Heehee, hello everyone,

I guess every now and then products from Original Source will keep on popping up at my blog. As long as they keep adding more 'flavor', I'll keep reviewing them as well.

I love real natural ingredients alright (as long as it's from plants). This time Original Source is mixing up some mints with tea tree to provide a refreshingly clean shower that gives the skin a cool sensation and antibacterial properties.

Here's some details from http://www.originalsource.co.uk:

It is super refreshing alright and suitable to be used on hot days like these, plus the environment friendly bottle is a bonus point for preserving our mother earth.

Do you know that Original Source's bottle is kinda unique?! The opening is small and I never have one that spills. It like it's almost a vacuum container. What's inside only comes out when pressed real tight.

The texture of the green -a bit cloudy- gel is thick and like a condense milk. Lathers up real good, I think I only need around 1 table spoon into a sponge and it is enough to clean and gives a very cooling effect for the whole body.

The strong aroma of a mint is like we're inside a mint candy.

-*-

Definitely worth trying and buying too.

Thanks Original Source Indonesia, keep bringing us more please.

Fighting Bacteria Activity with IOMA

Hi everyone,

couple of weeks ago, IOMA gave me their anti bacterial collection for my high bacterial activity (euhhhh) facial skin. It was on the maximum level and the reason behind the acne that keep reappearing on my chin. They don't look pretty and I want to get rid of them. Being pregnant is one thing so I need to carefully handle the matter as some ingredients are not advisable to be used during this sensitive period.

After performing some individual research (which I can't be hold responsible for the majority of the society), some ingredients can still be used under special circumstances and not for the long term, so a week max should be okay and don't use it intensely or in high concentrate.

-*-

Here they are, the scrub, mask, and day & night moisturizer. The eye cream is in the anti-wrinkle range (number 3). All of them are in sachets and only 2 each, except for the day and night moisturizer which is enough for 7 days.

-*-

Each of them has different texture and function. The scent also different, the anti bacterial range smells like medicine, I dislike the scent but enjoying the effect.

-*-

This is the mask, like a mud, it is used after cleaning the skin. I found it to be highly effective in reducing the bacterial activity on the skin yet still feels so friendly to the skin, no irritation nor discomfort occurred. Usually, for mask with mud that help reducing bacterial activity, my skin will have some redness and tightness due to the drying effect, IOMA Absorbent Mask doesn't do that. The skin remains calm and clean.

-*-

This is the eye cream from number 3, the anti wrinkle collection which I love love love. The texture is like a soft snow gently touching the skin near the eyes, it melts and give this wonderful sensation, so silky and velvety at the same time, comforting and richly hydrating the area. Smoothen out and calming the skin beautifully, too bad I only have two sachets, I wish I have the whole full size. In terms of texture and feeling plus immediate effect, this is the best eye contour cream I've tried.

And since in a sachet there's still so much left and I don't want to leave it open aired, I used some of it on my laughing lines too, I don't remember who gave me this tips but, anti wrinkle eye cream can be used on 'other' wrinkles too, like the laughing lines.

-*-

The scrub, the tiny beads that helps clean the skin and has this warm sensation when applied. The skin's dead cells uplifted and make them ready for the next step. IOMA reminds me the importance of keeping the skin 'scrubbed' now and then so the nutrients from the skincare can penetrate into the skin. Do it correctly but not using harsh ingredients or too often, once a week is enough and using the correct product like from IOMA ^__-

-*-

Last but definitely not least on this post is day and night moisturizer, no, it is not empty, the gel is clear as it is. Easy to be used and there's also that familiar warm feeling on the skin once applied. At first, they feel sticky, but wait for a while and the clear gel will absorb nicely to the skin, leaving no trace, this is good, but I still hate the smell (yucks!).

Thank you IOMA Indonesia, looking forward to review more of your awesome products.

After 7 Days with IOMA

Bonjour!!

After my 7 days trial with IOMA, I'm back to their nifty tools at their counter in Grand Indonesia. I've shared with you my past experiences with IOMA: http://whileyouonearth.blogspot.com/2014/03/first-trials-of-ioma-youthful-moisture.html

And I do have my doubts of looking younger, well, it turns out that my prejudice doesn't fall off the truth.

-*-

Based on the recent skin check, improvements are everywhere, from the less lines, less wrinkle, less bacterial activity to the increasing moisture level. Those numbers aren't lying and something that I can visibly witness are indeed a reality after all. I'm so pleased with the result.

-*-

Please do click on any images to see it on larger view, pay attention on the dates and my before after skin.

Does these means IOMA products really works? It does! And the undoubtedly high-tech machines helps me understand my skin way better, so I know which products or ingredients, or even stuffs I really need to pay attention to. So in a way, IOMA helps a great deal of me understanding my self in terms of my skin condition that actually reveals my health and well-being.

First, I need to increase my intake on water as dehydration on the skin keeps occurring (so I took this lesson from inside and outside), second, I need to touch my nose area less, or use a fairly clean tissue to lessen the bacterial activity (if possible), then I need to stay out of the sun during it's peak or again increase my liquid intake during the day, use products that helps hydration, firming and on some areas, help inhibit the bacterial activities.

-*-

Back to the scanning. On these images (above and below) my lines and wrinkles are reduce, yes, within 7 days. And I haven't use bespoke yet. Bespoke? I'm sure someday we'll get there, it's an awesome products from IOMA that precisely made for the skin accordingly.

-*-

Below is the pores condition showing the bacterial activities, on the right image is the before (so not pretty) and the left side is the after 7 days. Improvement, improvement, improvement.

-*-

It turns out I need those scrubs after all, on the areas shown below, nose, below the nose and areas around the mouth. These images helps me get the precise locations, neat isn't it?!

-*-

Don't forget, all of these skin check at IOMA is free, make your way to Seibu, Grand Indonesia, Jakarta and get your skin check asap. You'll get the idea of your skin condition at the moment, what kind of products and ingredients needed by your skin now, and if possible, try them.

-*-

And like me, I'm going back home with another range needed by the skin based on the skin check.

-*-

See you on my next 'adventure' with IOMA.

Thank you IOMA Indonesia.
