While waiting for the event to start, I also have a chance to test my antioxidant level and somewhat know why I get sick rather often lately, this is a tool that can check the antioxidant level within minutes and just by the touch of the palm.

There are charts of colors that will appear, from the lowest to the highest. Blue is the maximum level and considered best, mine is just above the lowest which means I have to increase my antioxidant level or 'detoxing' my life from pollution hazards.

The product is a tool that help the products used (serums) to works on the skin. It is a deep cleansing system that extracted the dirt from the skin.

There are two tipes of serum, the first one used is the clear one and then the blue one. In between usage the skin is wiped using a wet wipes, it was said that the serum is no longer needed to stay on the skin since it works only when the applicator is used at the same time.Those two serums combined used with the tools as a deep cleansing method. Too bad that Nu Skin doesn't provide a moisturizer afterwards, my skin feels pretty dry and naked without a moisturizer after being cleaned again and again with wet wipes.

The treatmemt itself is very easy and it is actually made for home usage as in anyone can use it for themselves. The applicator has it own time and just keep applying the serum using the 'spatula' on the head of the applicator and then move upwards to gently give the skin a lifting effects while the serum works.

The immediate result anyone could see is the radiances and hydration.

Since it was said to have more combinations, more effects can be achieved using different formulas.

Beauty Barn Heal Good

Hello everyone,

this is another product from Beauty Barn Indonesia called Heal Good.

I've been using the oils for a few weeks now and it's not just me, the product can be used for anyone above 12 months.

Heal Good is a healing mix contain Lavender, Tea Tree, Chamomile and Myrrh.

Can be used for treating insect bites, cuts, and even open wounds.

And guess what I've been using them as? A help for my kids during chickenpox.

Both of mine just had chickenpox and for sure it is not fun. The liquid may burst anytime and infection can easily occur if we don't keep the area (whole area) clean. So taking a bath twice a day is more than just a refreshing idea, it's a necessity.

By adding a few drops of Heal Good on their bathing water add aromatherapy for the nose and mind, as well as helps the skin to heal faster and better. I can happily say, they went through chickenpox without further infection.

Utama Spice Aromatherapy and Argan Oil

these are products freshly sent to me by Utama Spice. They are Argan Oil, Bergamont and Rosemary aromatherapy essential oils. And yes, they are the newest babies from Utama Spice.

Argan Oil is known as a liquid gold that pampers the skin and hair. It nourishes and moisturizes everything it touches. It promoted healing on the skin as well.

Even thou it is oil, Argan Oil from Utama Spice is not oily at all when used, in fact, it is pretty satisfying and comfortable on the skin. Like they just sunk deep into the skin and making them supple again. I wont say hydrated but more like doesn't look dry anymore. My hands are pretty much dry from the constant doing the chores at home and flakes of dead skin are visible. Using the Argan Oil on the facial skin and hair means using them by dropping a few drops on my palm first before applying and it nourish everything it touches, from the hands to the facial skin and hair. The fact that it is not greasy made so lovable.

Most hair product on the market that says contain Argan Oil usually add some more oils, those combination successfully made the product oily and greasy. Utama Spice's Argan Oil is comfortable to be used and again, not greasy.

When using on the face, it's like using a serum, on a cleaned and toned skin. Right before moisturizer.

Bergamot Essential Oil
Bergamot itself is famous for the aroma, it is citrus and refreshingly good for the mind and body too. Bergamot also drinkable (in the right doses) and can help our digestive system. Bergamot also may act as an antibacterial benefit.

I love Bergamot. Many fragrances and skincare, also toiletries are using Bergamot nowadays, perhaps it is due to the antibacterial benefit, but most of all, it's for the aroma. It is a citrus scent, unlike lemon which can be a bit sour to the smell too, and orange for too sweet at times, Bergamot is a classy and sophisticated citrus. You'll notice the 'expensive' freshness right away.

Beside using it as an aromatherapy at home, I mixed it a bit in my shower gel, it created a different layer of clean feeling on the skin and as a shower experience, yes, the citrus aroma.

1 drop on my body lotion could make a difference too, a fresher lotion for sure.

Rosemary Essential Oil
When I first thought about rosemary, all I can think of is rosemary chicken, yes, rosemary has been used in the culinary world and known as well for it's benefits. There's more, from prevent baldness, as a disinfecting mouthwash, and on skincare, it helps reduce eczema, dermatitis, oily skin, acne and last but not least stress reliever.

This is new for me, before Utama Spice sent me one, I have never use Rosemary other than cooking. Now, I'm beginning to try it as a mouthwash, just a few drops mixed with water.

And I want my hair to grow more or at least prevent hair fall, I use it on my scalp as well. The texture is oily alright, hence I'm using it 1-2 drops only and undiluted, no worries the oily feeling gradually disappear. The sensation on the skin is also unique, like a bit of warmth and the aroma is amazing. It's not as sharp like cajeput, a bit medicinal, and like that famous talc lotion used when allergies occur, I guess they are using Rosemary as one of the key ingredients. It's therapeutic alright.

Since I just starting using it on my scalp, I can't tell whether it's working or not, hopefully they do, I'll keep you updated on my instagram page @carnellin.

Utama Spice Lavender Body Oil

wow a body oil, hmm, this is not a product that we as Indonesian feel common about, but for those in the US or other 'west sides' countries have been using Body Oil for quite some time. Why? Body Oil is a body care made from oil, some come in a form of a dry oil, while some in just in an oil form. This Utama Spice Body Oil is in a form or an oil. Not dry oil.

The goal of using body oil is that it gives more protection to the skin compares to lotion, the oils like creating a protective film. Each oils has different function according to the ingredients. These oil are pampering and makes the skin looks glossy. Perhaps this is why it is not famous in Indonesia as we are in a tropical islands with heat and humidity all day long, using something that makes us glossy sometime equals to oily. It is different. Like this Lavender Oil, it made the skin looks healthier and more attractive.

The first item reviewed here is their Body Butter in Rose Allure. The selling price is Rp.74.250.

The description on the website:

This is a simple aloe-vera moisturizer blended with Rose Geranium oil for softer, smoother skin.

The formula looks watery, unlike 'common' body butter we see on the market. The light texture earn a high score for me since I dislike body butter that feels thick on the skin since Jakarta is not a place for a heavy moisturizer. The lightness and high hydrating effect is perfect for a whole day, even when staying inside the air-con room all day long without any dryness, greasy effect nor other discomfort.

The irresistible rose aroma will settle down not long after applied and the virgin coconut oil will become more noticeable. I really enjoy the sensation when it is first applied, cooling and refreshing, perhaps this is the effect of the agar and aloe vera.

Then after a 2-3 seconds massage the product will make themselves comfortable on the skin and only leaves a hydrating effect with no greasiness felt. The skin looks plumped and happy. Since it is all natural, I even let my daughter uses it. She likes how it feels on her skin too. And for me, the paraben free fact of course.

Overall,

A great product made in Indonesia (so proud of it), consist of all natural ingredients that feels so good on the skin without being too much. Suitable to be use in this climate or even in dryer condition. Suitable for just about any skin type. Can be used to soften the rough parts like elbows, knee, and even heels without being slippery. Use all over the body for a wonderful refreshing hydration and calming rose effect. Amazing smell, or of you prefer something else, you can choose around 9 other variant available, each with their own natural ingredients like lavender, lemongrass, cocoa, and so on (oh I would love to try the lemongrass). Each have different prices accordingly.

Do I recommend this product? For sure!
