Beauty Without Worry by Biokos

Hello lovelies,

a few weeks ago, I was invited by Kumpulan Emak Blogger with Biokos for an event at Jakarta Fashion & Food Festival 2016. The theme of the event is Beauty Without Worry where there's Beauty Talk with Sissy Prisilia, a makeup and skincare user, Dine Aisah sharing about makeup and skincare as a good investement, and the Brand Manager where she talks about Biokos as expert in providing complete set of skincare for all skin type and age, and in the same time, introducing Caring by Biokos, a Two Way Cake products that comes in several types according to the needs of the skin, and they are considered skincare makeup.

On our table, the skincare and makeup by Biokos is ready. The skincare that becomes the highlight are the series of Derma Bright. And the makeup is the Two Way Cake Caring by Biokos.

Soon the event begin around 7 PM, the main stage is now ready. Soon the MC greeted everyone and the hosts are filling us in with product knowledge and how we can enjoy these products.

Caring Colors itself is a brand that has several Two Way Cake over the years and now collaborating with Biokos, a brand from Marta Tilaar that has a main focus of skincare, when skincare and makeup collaborate, a skincare infused makeup is born.

		Skincare itself is a must in a daily routine as it help nourish our skin.
		Now when a makeup is infused with skincare, it gains it benefit, not just for coverage but for the skin itself.
		The Two Way Cake also contain high Uv Protection
		thanks to it's technology.
		The three series are:
		Timeless Illuminate,
		Brightening Moist,
		and
		No More Shine.
		Each has their own advantages, the Timeless Illuminage for dry skin (and aging skin),
		Brightening Moist is like it's title, help brightens the skin and the formula is fairer too in term of shade.
		And
		No More Shine,
		like it's name, it is made for oily skin, the powder is mattefying. Just like the cover of
		the packaging.

The tutorial given on the stage are thorough and perfect for a beginner, so everyone in the beauty class can participate.

The makeup created is suitable for daily use, working moms like me and everyone in general.

After the beauty class. the competition begin. There are those who are picked as the best from each table.

While waiting for the judgement, here are the BB Cream used.

It can be paired with the Two Way Cake, they are working great together.

These are the products shared with us.

As seen, there are three variation of Two Way Cake and the container is slightly different too in terms of design. Brightening Moist has a bright reflective pink cover, Timeless Illumination is the only one in grey and No More Shine is in matte pink cover.

Look at the powders inside, they look different too right?!

During the event, I'm using Brightening Moist, the product has a fine texture and gives the skin a medium coverage. Adding a BB Cream before could add the coverage. The formula suitable to be used in Jakarta's hot and humid weather.

On each box, the products details are written clearly, there are details on the UV protection, full ingredients list and why it is suitable for each skin respectfully.

The shades that was given to me are a bit too dark, my skin is fair and the shades should be number 1. The image of me after using the product is above (during the event).

Each of them surely will have a fan on their own. Seems like Caring by Biokos has done series of research to see what are we looking for, some are looking for a brighter skin, some are looking for a moist effect like most Korean style makeup and some are a huge fan of anything matte as it gave them fresh looking skin.

Color Trend Sariayu 2016

Recently, one of Indonesia top brand has just launch their newest collection for 2016's cosmetic trend. It is Sariayu with Trend Warna Krakatau.

Inspired by colors at Mt. Krakatau, Sariayu has created arrays of beautiful colors hard to be missed.

The event was held at Empirica during weekend and the bloggers who attend are excited, especially when they see the Duo Lip Color. This is a liquid lipstick with double side ends, one filled with liquid lipstick that gives a matte finish and the other glossy.

12 shades in total with 24 end products.

Aside from the lipsticks, there are 3 eyeshadows palette. 2 trios and 1 with 8 shades.

Sariayu Blogger Gathering is a special event where bloggers are sent a package of products before the event. And went we came, we already able to share our testimonials and short reviews on how the products can be used and which one is our favorite.

I went there using their eyeshadows and lipstick as well.

During the event, we can enjoy fashion shows, makeup demo and reviews by fellow bloggers on how they would use the products from Sariayu.

Krakatau 2 is much more natural than Krakatau 1, for me, I prefer using Krakatau 2 during classic events, work or when I want a soft natural look whole Krakatau 1 is perfect for events at night when the ambiance is much more relaxed and suitable for party as well.

Without further ado, if you're a lipstick addict like me, the full swatch and below when I'm using them one by one with the eyeshadows as well (not in particular order).

Number 10, is coral and pretty. It is definitely not boring and I look fresh. The texture of the lipstick is top notch, the aroma is fruity, kinda like a bit like bubble gum as well. They lipstick still bleed a bit and stain almost everywhere but do have a good long lasting power.

On my image above, I'm using some of the shades from Eyeshadow Kit.

Above is No.8 and it look so natural on me. Both of the image above and beyond is me using Krakatau 1.

The purple, blue and turquoise is so pretty.

Number 7 is like a dusty rose, elegant and suitable for daily use as I love this shade, it looks so me when I'm calm and confident, but no. 4 does made me shine with it's boldness.

And here comes baby pink, number 11. The thing about Duo Lip Color is that the coverage power is just wonderful. It really become like a second skin yet covers everything from fine lines, uneven skin tones, and pale lips like mine :D

Shade number 6 is just too pretty. I love this red mixed with a hint or orange and coral, it create a light reddish color that sparks.

Number one is deep in darker red, so powerful, like number 1.

Number 5 is like a wine color that becomes a hit lately. And did you notices that I've been using the mattes side on all of the image above and only in the image below I'm using the glossy one?!

The glossy one does shines and the mattes does matte. Pretty!

Shade number 2 is another red with a hint of pink in it. I'm using this one on the event for Sariayu Blogger Gathering and Krakatau 2 on my eyes.

The brown shades made my eyes look bigger.

Number 9 is orange and number 3 is fresh red. These colors are surprisingly delightful especially to help boost up my skin tone.

Last but least is number 12, the pinkest of them all and bright too. My mom loves this shade so much and she took mine haha!

There you go, 12 shades of DLC and 3 palettes of eyeshadow that made eyes pop and alluring too.

SEKILAS MENGENAI EVENT

Oriental Beauty adalah sebuah event photo exhibition yang menampilkan foto-foto hasil karya alumni Puspita Martha dengan menggunakan palet warna forecast trend Fall/Winter 2015 dari Beauty Trend Center.

Event ini berlangsung dari tanggal 20 Februari – 13 Maret 2015, bertempat di Ruang Pamer L2, Puspita Martha International Beauty School, Jl. KH. Wahid Hasyim No 19 – 23 Jakarta. Dibuka pada hari Senin – Sabtu, jam 10.00 – 16.00 WIB.

PAC Powder Eyeshadow No.6 and Matte Lipstick in Indian Red

Look at these goodies below from PAC. A collection from Martha Tilaar that is suitable for make up artist or professional use.

This is the lipstick, from the matte collection in Indian Red. Below is the swatch on my hand, it really look matte isn't it?! And I really love the texture, it felt so smooth on the lips. Usually matte lipstick feels so dry and can be uncomfortable when used. Like the lips feels strikingly dry and in the long run can shown chapped and unhealthy lips. But using PAC Matte Lipstick, the lips looks velvety pretty and just so comfortable.

In terms of the color, for me it's not in the high pigmented area, more like adequately. The strong point on the product is the affordable price and pleasing texture.

The whole collection comes with 10 shades from alluring red to baby pink. PAC products can be purchased through their counters at selected malls or online purchases.

The next item is Powder Eye Shadow no.6. The one with a sparkly white.

This single powder eyeshadow also comes with a 4 sets of color, so you could purchase four powder in a stack or singular like mine.

And last, it's the eyeliner. A liquid eyeliner in black. A product that I'll share more on my instagram account @carnellin. Please do stay tune for my look using this particular eyeliner.

An eyeliner that can transform the eyes instantly, from bigger, sexier, to any creative design possible.

Here's my look using the powder eyeshadow. No. 1 when using it with fingers, No.2 after blending, No.3 adding another eyeshadow in gray and blending them. No.4 is the finished look.

The white powder eyeshadow can be used at the eyebrow as well right below the ends/arch and as a highlighter like the nose bridge.

For the eyes, it lit up the look instantly, the eyes will appear fresh and brighter.

Above is the complete look using the eyeshadow and the matte lipstick. Look at the color of the lips?! They looks so good and comfortable. I love the suede finish, like they are effortlessly that way. They may not be a long wear lipstick but PAC do made each reapplying feels good.
