Boots Intensive Treatment Mask Rosemary & Mint for Normal to Oily Hair

this is a simple product from Boots, a mask that says Intenstive Treatment with Rosemary and Mint, made for normal to oily skin type.

The mask is simple in terms of usage, just shampoo and towel dry the hair before applying it generously on the hair. As usual, the longer we keep it on the hair, the better.

I don't use it on the scalp since usually these kind of product will make the scalp oily and very uncomfortable, so just on the hair will do. Nevertheless, some of it will still sips onto the scalp and create that tingling sensation thanks to the mint. It was quite refreshing.

I put my shower cap on and usually leave it for 30 minutes. After wards I rinse everything off using room temperature water or warm water, but I like it best using room temperature water since it made the hair feels better, I don't really know why, when using warm water perhaps it opens up the scalp and after a while the scalp will become oily faster. Plus normal temp water makes the scalp feels fresher.

Overall,

don't take this product seriously, it does add some radiance glow to the hair but it's not permanent, more like a medium gloss. In terms of 'repairing', I don't see much, just perhaps a detangling effect. But the process is cooling and makes a hot days feels a lot better.

The details provided in www.boots.com is no longer existed since the product seems to be replaced with the new perhaps improved formula, but when bought in Thailand the Boots there still sell the Replenishing Night Cream Age Defense.

Nevertheless, above are the creams. They look so pretty aren't they?! Like a mixed between gel and cream, so the texture is not so thick.

Compared with each other:
The day cream looks chalkier like any other moisturizer contain sun protection material
The night cream feels more hydrating and more water content
Since they are from different range the smell is different but both smells good anyway
The day cream may appear denser but after applied it gives a more velvety feeling than the night cream that gives more moisture that last longer (probably to stand through the night).

Like shown on image above and below, both of them accepted by the skin nicely. I really love skincare that doesn't give much residue on the skin and these items does that.

Will I keep using them? Definitely!

They are budget friendly.
The day cream contain low sun protection level (suitable for the lazy bum, at least they are still using sun protection) which later on can be top off with a high sun protection products.
The feeling on the skin (both item) is comfortable and pleasant.
No paraben (hooray!!)
Smells good.
They feel light on the skin yet provide enough moisturizing effect.
The day cream does calm my sensitive cheeks.
The night cream helps relaxing the fine lines, they are not completely gone, but the skin does appear more relaxed and comfortable.

I Love Boots (Assorted Shower Gels, Hand Wash, Smooth Care Shave Gel, and Gentle Feminine Wash)

It's a haul ya'll ^^

My sis just got back from Bangkok some time ago, and like having a personal shopper, she get me these awesome products from Boots. I love Boots for being ehm cheap, gives wide variety of items which is NOT available locally, and they often promote discounts and offers too ^^ which girl refuse a sale?!

They carry products made with their brand as well as other famous brands out there. Their 'homemade' Boots are filled with varieties of scents. I don't think they have a 'real' differences in term of function, so it's more to the scent and texture. Like these shower gel, they all are the same ^^ but with different scents so my days of showers are not as boring as some of the days are. The scent also only last for 30 minutes or so after showering heehee.

Same goes with the Hand Wash. I also have the one with Lemongrass and Tamarind which is refreshing ^^

The lavender is like most products with lavender ^^ calming and nice, the Strawberry and Yoghurt smell milky and sweet. Again, it's all just about scent and a bit of playful texture but their main frame is similar and about the same.

The shaving gel is nice, fluffy, adequate and just enough.

The cottony feeling is basic and not really smoothing the skin, it is more to the practical use but hey, the price is super duper friendly and in Jakarta these shaving gels are much more pricier with more or less same result.

Then they also have the feminine wash, a gentle wash which only suitable for the outer area ya, it helps to clean up with the soap free and ph balanced formula so it wont irritate our 'natural ambiance' down there.

The scent is mild and a bit floral, but of course, not too much. Easy to be lathered on and the gentle foam removes the unwanted smell and lifted up sweats, humidity and discomfort from all of them combined together in our hoo ha.

How to Use

With eyes closed spritz generously over face and neck after cleansing, wipe away with cotton wool.

My review:

The lovely fresh rosewater is a delight on the skin and can be use like anytime. I use it after cleaning the face, as a refresher, toner and throughout the day when bored ehm the air feels dry on the skin. This stuff is especially handy when I'm in the hospital. The constant air conditioner and the limited movement I can do due to all those medication and attached infusion to the vein which made me literally have to stay on the bed. I can't take showers and clean up as I normally due and the skin does suffer from the poor cleaning and limited moisturizing.

This spritz is a lovely alternative which can be used anytime, in sickness and in health ^0^ I can use it inside the car when the humidity is low and the skin is suffering due to the heat and unpleasant condition (that gives stress), it helps cleaning the skin as well as toning it instantly, can be used all over (facial skin as well as body skin), plus hair as well. Last but not least, it can be used by everyone, unisex and travel friendly too.

Suitable for those staying in a dry climate or room constantly, like a toning effect when using toner (with cotton pad), need a boost of refreshing effect anytime of the day, and did make the makeup looks more natural (when used after putting on makeup).
