Cure

Hello lovelies,

this is one long overdue post. I received these babies from Kawaii Beauty Japan and has been using them for around 1 year :D

They are the set from Cure. Cure itself is well known for their exfoliating gel, and I think it was kinda the first that made exfoliating gel a 'thing'. It was very famous back then. I've made a review as well.

-*-

Seems like the brand are adding new products, such as Bath Salt and Water Treatment.

Bath Salt itself is not really famous in Indonesia, especially since we don't really soak in a tub in daily basis, moreover a lot of people doesn't really have a tub here.

Unlike Japan where seems like every household has a tub and it's common for them.

When I was in Japan, I saw many products in the bath area and they all look so good, comes in many aroma and function. The Bath Salt from cure seems so simple and offer minerals like when we're soaking in an onsen.

-*-

It helps soften the skin and relaxes the muscles. The water feels alkaline and comfortable.

-*-

The next item is the exfoliating gel itself that uses natural ingredients and said that it would not exfoliate anything but the dead skin cells only.

Take note that nowadays there are many other brands that launches exfoliating gels and not all of them are safe. Choose one that only takes dead skin and it should be so many when done on regular basis.

-*-

Cure is one of the brand that I know to be safe.

It doesn't reacted at all when I'm doing it on daily basis, and it should be like that.

-*-

The dead skin that comes off after is just like my skin tone and everyone in the family can use the product since it is natural and doesn't hurt.

-*-

As seen, there aren't many cells comes out.

There's another brand that I've tried that kept exfoliating and the dead skin cells accumulated is too much. And it will keep on exfoliating if I didn't wash it thoroughly. Do avoid that kind of product.

-*-

After using Cure exfoliating gel, the skin feels soft and still moist. That is also a good sign of a good product. It doesn't 'bother' the skin, doesn't cause irritation and/or other problems.

-*-

Last but not the last, it is Water Treatment Skin Cream that I really love. It's a milky gel that provide moisture like no other. So refreshing, so pure and comfortable. It has the lightest touch but add hydration to my skin that it made them plump. It is not a solo product, I still need to use serum and moisturizer, so for me it is an addition to my skincare. An addition that I've been looking for.

Since the formula is light and watery, I'm using it before any other skincare that contains oil. Since the water absorbed way faster than the rest.

Thank you so much Kawaii Beauty Japan. It is a nice surprise with these gifts, sorry it took me too long to make the review.

The Soap Corner Bath Fizzies

hello everybody,

The Soap Corner sent me this bath fizzies months and months ago, I was told not to review the product on my blog since the shape is a bit messy, they are messy since The Soap Corner doesn't have enough time (yet, I'm asking her to make one for my daughter in the shape of a hello kitty) and they are indeed a bit fragile. I saw some on Martha Steward and it was delicate.

So why am I writing about them now, despite of their a bit out of figure shape, that doesn't take the function out of these babies.

-*-

What is inside this bath fizzies, nothing more than baking soda, epsom salt, olive oil, sugar and many more (including scents). Epsom salt is actually not a salt, it's a mineral compound that found in hot springs, not just any hot springs, these are the ones that has been well known to have benefits for our skin and body. Think about muscle ache, tiredness, etc.

These bath fizzies contain those ingredients so we can have our own 'hot spring' at home.

-*-

The fizz is not as much as I wanted them too, the kitties are pretty damp when I open the container, perhaps it is due to delivery during rainy weather (who knows?!)  but when put on the tub, it need a bit stirring for them to completely dissolve. Then slowly but sure, the water turns soft and slippery. It's like they literally become an 'onsen' my personal mildly scented strawberry onsen.

The skin does feel smoother and softer after soaking in it, some muscles become loosening and I'm really happy Erie (the owner of The Soap Corner) made these babies available in Indonesia now, as I usually buy tons of bath salt from trips to Japan.

Overall,
A great product with a wonderful ingredients that gives benefit to the skin and body, but I wish it contain more fizz. And perhaps someday when she made it for me, the scent increased by 200% (yes, she made this one mild as these are for my daughter).

Thank you The Soap Corner

Bath Salt and Coffee Scrub by PrettyRecipe

Hello lovelies,

@prettyrecipe send me some stuffs last week. Products which I think so simple yet turns out to be much needed during my trip to Japan. It was a very hectic, exhausting and for me, challenging ever. The lack of sleeps and the amount of physical movement (ehm walking for kilos and kilos in heels) made me sore and ache all over.

This bath salt and coffee scrub mixed with natural sugar are amongst my oasis.

-*-

I used them everyday during the trip and share it with my friend as well, the representative from Kawaii Beauty Japan. We both loves the products, first let's discuss about the Bath Salt in blue, the one that says Odour Repellent.

This is a much needed item as everyone knows, walking in summer heat equals to sweats, sweats and sweats. Sweats everywhere including those areas such as armpits and feet. Haha! Foot odor is something that even a Japanese feels related to as well, in many beauty store, deodorants for foot are available nation wide, in many forms and scents.

The Bath Salt help removing the odor and makes them less, the odor will come back after hours and hours later and in much sweats. Beside help reducing the odor, the salts also help caring those aching muscles, the body become more relaxed and promote better sleeping. When put in warm water the whole tub become blue-green colored and smells good.

-*-

Do you see the clumps below, the salt will disappear fast after 1-2 swirls. Convenient and suitable for those who are looking for a spa at home.

Same goes with the Coffee Scrubs. The sugar and coffee mixed feels rough on the skin yet invigorating and awakening at the same time. The skin will become cleaner and plumped thanks to the circulation it brings. I really enjoy the coffee scent as well and it effects on the skin, it's like they are detoxifying. The natural ingredients are surely a very good feature.

After the bath and the scrub, the skin will appears fairer, cleaner, more fragrant and definitely looks more alive after. Imagine that the skin is filled with sweats, sebum, dirt and everything that touches it from the whole day and all of it being washed away, the pores are happy to be able to breath freely again. Once the skin is clean the mind also feels calmer and happier as well.

Overall,
A dynamic duo that create a rejuvenating spa for the skin.
