back to another review from the past alias ini draft sejak 2020 loh, dan cleansing oilnya pun sudah habis aku pakai. What I like about this product is, ini sangat bagus dalam membersihkan kulit dari semua waterproof makeup dan nyaman kalau kena mata sedikit pas dibilas ya kan suka masuk-masuk sedikit tuh, gak perih, hanya blur-blur sedikit tapi jika terus dibilas akan bersih kembali. Pandangan aku clear kembali.

Hal ini aku lakukan karena biasanya makeup mata yang paling susah dibersihkan dan produk ini nyaman untuk bersihkan makeup area mata. Oilnya berasa lembut dan saat dimassage di kulit yang (kering) penuh makeup ini, berasa loh makeup saat rontok, mainly lem bulu mata, mascara yang mengering dan semua bagian yang tadinya sampe mengeras saking waterproofnya pun copot tanpa perlawanan.

Lalu ditambah sedikit air untuk emusify, ini sih yang bikin cairannya milky blurry gt dimata, jadi kalau bisa gak usah ngintip-ngintip ya tutup aja matanya sampai selesai bilasan terakhir, karena saat dimassage dengan oil, lalu ditambah sedikit air lalu dimassage lagi, baru dibilas agar semua makeup bersih.

Apakah perlu double cleansing pakai facial foam setelahnya? Aku sih iya, tapi bukan karena gak berasa bersih, hanya karena habit atau kebiasaan triple cleansing dan habis selesai facial foam pun aku pakai micellar water juga yang kadang masih menangkap bbrp area yang tadinya aku kurang teliti (ya aku manusia biasa).

Detail atau informasi brand juga mengatakan benefit lainnya pakai cleansing oil ini, tapi untuk aku sih ya mainly cleansing aja secara nyaman dan tidak menimbulkan iritasi sama sekali.

Worth dibeli kah? Yes, aku pastinya mau beli lagi, dan kayaknya mau cobain varian lain yang katanya deep cleansing, brightening atau apalah yang sebenernya sama aja fungsi utamanya membersihkan, hanya beda-beda tipis agar hidup lebih semangat.

The masks itself is pretty plain like any other face mask, white, cottony and easy to be used. The formula is a bit milky and feels comfortable on the skin. I usually use one after shower and cleaning my skin, put on one toner when the skin is still damp.

The mask dries up pretty fast, 15 minutes and it feels like paper. I took it off and it does give my skin a nice moisturizing effect, I top it off with my regular moisturizer and the skincare routine is done.

Since the package filled with 7 masks, I'm using it one by one for 7 days and it continue to give the skin that pleasant hydration all through the week and does help my skin to appear baby-like. So plump and bouncy.

A great product to be used on daily basis, it pretty much replace serum or when used together add another boost of moisture to the routine.

The masks is perfect for Asian feature, it's not too big.

Inside the bottle is a clear gel that lather beautifully and plentiful, it's a light frothy foam. When used the highlight is definitely on the gentleness of the soap and the irresistible fragrant aroma, like a fresh bouquet of white flowers, a bit sweet, a whole lotta gorgeous scents. The whole shower room become fragrant for hours. The skin feels so good and oh my, I would love to have it as a lotion, perfume and use them everywhere I please. It was that good.

Kose Je l'aime secret des fruits Shampoo and Treatment in Deep Moist

from my hubby's recent trip to Japan, he bought a bunch of stuffs for me, and this is one of the samples he got from those purchases. I don't normally review sachets but with just a pair, I found my self eager to write some.

Why? The product itself is so cute, I have the full sized ones but in different variant, this sachets is for deep moist effect.

The sachets is quite big for single usage to be used by longer hair than mine. The clear shampoo feels light at first but kinda have this slippery oily effect on the hair. It does cleans the hair well but somehow, it made the scalp feels so oily. The treatment is, sorry to say, worst. It doesn't help my hair in any way, it still tangled even when they are still in the milky creamy 'Treatment' time. When washed off, that's it, it leaves nothing behind. One feature of both product which I think is the only highlight is the amazing fragrant, like I'm literally pouring perfume on to the hair, floral and fruity at the same time, and it last for 24 hours. I kept smelling my hair and feel in love with how scented it is. Too bad they made my scalp feels so oily, if not, I would definitely crave for some more, the smell is amazingly beautiful.

Playing with Mixing Palette from BeautyGoodsID and Altering Foundationwith Skincare

BeautygoodsID aka Wenny sent me one of her mixing palette, a simple product that you probably already seen it here and there at instagram. Yes, she only sells her items at instagram with an id @BeautyGoodsID

At first, I thought, hmm what am I going to do with this thing? And ideas start popping, something that I really want to do, making my own concoction of makeup base. Mixed with my favorite skincare or other things....curious? Let's check them out.

Start with the most classic of them all, Advanced Night Repair serum and Double Wear foundation. The serum is famous for being so light in texture yet hydrating the skin nicely, and those are the instant effect only, the long term benefit consist of repairing the skin back to it's perfect form. The Double Wear foundation also loved by many for it's great finish, but we all know how quick it dries up and settles. Most makeup artist from Estee Lauder's team will suggest the usage of this dynamic duo together.

What is the difference in using hand as the media or mixing palette, first, the hand has temperature and pores, it will change the texture, even if it's only a slight. The pores will absorb some of it's 'liquid-ness' hence the mixture will become drier faster. The mixing palette has a room temperature, doesn't absorb the products being put on top and last, no messy hands means less germs too.

By mixing these two together, it will gives us more time to blend the product onto the facial skin. This may not be a problem for an expert but for amateurs (like me) extra time means better applications, softer finish and more flawless result.

As seen the palette does not affected the products and solely function as a container, use a brush to blend the products together or I can apply the foundation first followed by the serum during blending.

Take note, there's no differences in preparing the skin before makeup, even thou' there's serum here, it doesn't meant we can skip the skincare routine. Start by cleaning the skin, use toner, serum, moisturizer, wait around 10 minutes or until the skin is ready for makeup and the skincare is absorbed well.

Now, my second concoction is a mixed between serum and drugstore foundation and the third one is facial oil by belif and the drugstore foundie. So one same foundie with 2 possibilities outcome by using 2 different mixture, one, an oil based product, and another a water based product.

The one mixed with water based serum from V10Plus remain it's original form and velvety but the one with facial oil lightens a bit and feels loosen more than the other. On the skin, the foundie mixed with V10Plus set faster, as the water based is easier to be absorbed by the skin, this concoction is perfect for those with normal to dry skin, it added a hint of moisture without being too much.

The foundie mixed with true facial oil is best for those with dry-very dry skin, as the foundie become so moist, but not oily, the true facial oil from belif is wonderful and I can see why this ultra fine oil is loved. The skin will glisten beautifully even with a drugstore foundie like Za.

Now, I'm adding a moisturizer from Hada Labo in the V10Plus mixture, this will make the mixture loosen and create a base like tinted moisturizer. The percentage of the products used will determine how it will be, more foundie means more coverage, less foundie means lighter makeup, suitable for those who doesn't like to use thick makeup. A BB cream can also be made by yourself using skincare, such as serum, moisturizer containing spf and foundation. Some powder may be added as well.

All depends on the brands and ingredients, not all brand is suitable with other products, I know for sure Double Wear foundation from Estee Lauder is best with the ANR alone.

Now, let's continue shall we?!

These are the result of a tinted moisturizer, a light coverage with moist effect. You may change the moisturizer according to what you have and the result desired. Here's some tips in choosing moisturizer:
Hydrating moisturizer which focused on adding moisture, usually contain more water will give the skin a natural hydrated look, suitable for almost all skin type.
Anti aging moisturizer, usually thicker and contains oils, will help those with aging signs as the ingredient may 'blurred out' or fills in the lines and wrinkles. Also help promote a better complexion.
Lifting moisturizer, feels a bit rubbery, hence it may not be suitable with a lot of foundie since it will create crease and/or perhaps noodle-ing.
Whitening/brightening moisturizer, helps lightens the tone, best to used for those looking for a fairer skin. Add some sparkles or golden dust, like the sample (way below).

Above is without some sparkles and below is adding some golden dust from IZU. The fine particles is perfect, bigger particle is not advice-able since it will make some gunk instead of nicely blend. No one wants a chunk of golden sparkles in random places.

Ta-da, glowing skin instantly, suitable for those going into special occasion like a wedding.

The possibility is endless, try mix and match your own items at home using this simple mixing palette from @BeautyGoodsID that only cost Rp.75.000.

Cleaning wise? I use a simple makeup remover and they are all gone.

Drop some speedy cleansing liquid directly and using the same brush, mix it up so nothing sticks, use a tissue and wipe them off. I proceed with cleaning it with a dishwashing liquid (just to remove the residue from speedy cleansing liquid) and the mixing palette is good as new.

The brush is clean as well ^__^

Kose Cosmeport Clear Turn Hyaluronic Acid Essence Mask

It's mask time with Kose Cosmeport.

Bough the product in Japan and the new 30 sheets hyaluronic acid essence mask is ready to boost the moisture and hydration to my skin.

The packaging is simple yet somehow I doubt when I reach the last masks down there will it be too dry? I guess I need to wait all the way to know the answer, right now, I just keeping it tight closed when not in used.

All the details is in Japanese, but the mask is simple enough as to be used on a pre-cleansed skin and after a toner/lotion. Leave it of for 5-15 minutes and continue by removing the mask, massage in the leftovers on the skin and add the rest of the skincare, such as moisturizer. If I want to use a serum, I see the texture of the serum first, if it is heavier than the mask, I use it afterwards, but if it is lighter or water based, I use it before the mask.

A simple white thin mask, which I yearn for a better quality and thickness. I guess this is a simple product to be used and not necessarily contained a complex ingredients. The main feature is to add hydration (that's what hyaluronic acid do) and that's it.

Haha! I look so unhappy with the mask on. It is difficult to create expression when mask is on. The fitting also not so good on me, I keep having difficulties to get it in the right place. Maybe my face just not wide enough. The essence given is basic, which means it's just one of the routine in a daily skincare which I don't think suitable as a weekly treatment, it's exactly more like a daily mask. Why they make it into a mask, I guess we all know that products do need time to penetrate into our skin and work before the next one put in, this mask helps me to wait before the next one and let the skin have it's time to absorb the nutrients it need.

Overall,

A simple mask to be used daily, gives the skin a boost of hydration and not made to be used alone, it's just one of the skincare step, used after toner, lotion and a water based serum. Continue with the rest of the skincare such as oil-based serum, eye cream, moisturizer, sun protection and so on.

The quality of the mask could be better, but for what it's worth, it does what it says it does.

Kose Softymo Enamel Remover Sheet

Hi all!

From my last trip to Tokyo, I bought this nail remover as I was waiting alone in the Airport and thinking of doing a solo manicure. Liquid is limited in the aircraft, so this thing comes to me as a very handy nail polish remover.





The acetone free nail color remover comes in 10 individual sheets. All the details is in Japanese, since it's an easy instruction, it's can be done easily. But I've found some details from my favorite Japan Online Shop http://www.jshoppers.com:

Nail polish remover sheets in a handy small size. With just one you can remove layered enamel and even stubborn sparkling polishes. A large size you can use on both hands! Contains German chamomile and other ingredients that keep your nails strong. This is the sachet of one sheet per piece.

A lavender colored packaging, cute isn't it?!

This is it, the white sheet that cleans my nail colors. It was so moist, well, wet to be precise and oily.

For me one sheet is enough for 10 fingers, no more. I have to use 2 sheets for the hand and feet. After 10 nails usually the sheets already so full of nail colors, leaving a greasy after effect. The scent compared to the ones with acetone is definitely milder. Regular nail color remover (with acetone) also drying and evaporate pretty fast, this one is the contrary. Sometime I need another sheet of clean cotton since there's still some liquid left on the nails.

The nail polish is easily clean with the liquid alone but I think I like it more if the sheet is thicker, the wide and length is enough, just wishing it was thicker since it feels so thin on the nails and if it is thicker it would be able to 'get' more nail colors all at once.

Overall, I like the simplicity to be able to clean my nail polish anywhere anytime without the need of separate cotton and a bottle of acetone, the scent is way milder than acetone and doesn't make the nail nor fingers dry. But I dislike the 'oiliness' (which actually later can be cleaned with soap and water) and the sheet is too thin.

Score? 7,5 out of 10, so it's still a wonderful product for me ^__^

And after a while of searching and trying, here's how to use it:

Pump the liquid to your palm and massage gently your skin, kinda like cleansing oil, then add a bit of water to emulsify where then rinse everything off with water. Then rinse it with water and I got this lovely super silky cleaned skin afterwards.

This is the product, a blue clear pump bottle of 230 ml liquid. As seen above the liquid itself is clear and even thou' it is said that 100% oil free, it feels as slippery as oil. The liquid is a it like thick watery liquid, not yet a gel, it is somewhere in between. I don't thing it is scented either since I can't smell anything obvious there.

I pump it on a surface and the clear liquid doesn't really show, so I pump some on the cotton, and on the image of a square of cotton alone is after being used to clean my daily dirt (no makeup). It does cleanse daily dirt as well.

Now let's see how effective it is on make up

Here's a line up of a few of makeup products:

Now as mentioned, I applied the liquid in two ways, one directly using the liquid and mixed everything up, and one with cotton pad.




The makeup doesn't dissolve easily as announced by the maker, but with cotton pad, it actually works better and on the first swipe, Coverderm is the first to one easily removed.




Then I add some more and hmm, really, pump it onto a cotton and it definitely works better than using just the liquid and your palm, the area swiped by the cotton is only in the middle.




This is the after look, yes, after rinsing and keep massaging. Some of the Coverderm, AQUA SHADOW, Mascara are still there. And obviously it didn't work, so please use a cotton pad and pump the liquid there before applying. The fibers of the cotton helps removing the makeup instead of just fingers + liquid.

Will I keep using it? Yes, with a cotton and hmm double cleansing is so important as well. Maybe the product suits those who doesn't use makeup regularly, so it clean daily debris + sun protection only, and actually it still need double cleansing, so use foaming facial wash right after ya ^__^

Today I went on and try the sample that have been on my dressing for months. Sekkisei Supreme Make Up Base SPF 25/PA++, here's the details on the product found on the website:

Wow this tiny pack contain a lot of wonderful stuff, so I cleaned my face and use toner, serum and my fave moisturizer, so it is ready for the make up base

When I opened the sachet the first thing that comes to my mind is how vivid the color is, I kinda doubt whether it will fit my skin tone. The scent is mild and refreshing, you wont notice the scent after 5-10 minutes. The texture is soft liquidy.

I dab it on many different spots including my front neck

Then blend them in. Again, still feels the tone is too vivid, wondering and kept wondering while my hand keep spreading them over

But after it all spread well the color do blend in and easily adjust to my skin tone. My complexion become even, brighter and love the luminous soft glow. It feels and look a lot healthier and alive. It have a soft powdery feeling on the skin after it dries up and ready for the next step. Use foundation for a more glamor look or powder for natural make up. Either both Sekkisei Supreme Make Up Base have your skin covered ^_^ My make up last for 8 hours and still going on, I don't do touch up. I love the fact that it covers my pores and covers everything that need to be hidden yet still feels light.

Definitely a must have!

I don't feel any tingling sensation or allergy, everything is smooth sailing during application.




How to use:

Apply it on a clean dry skin, spread evenly, careful not to touch the hairlines, eyes, and mouth.

After waiting for more than 40 minutes (perhaps I put them on too thick?), I feel tight and most of them dry to the touch. I peeled them off but about 1/3 of them still not dry, so I clean it with a damp soft cloth. And the result is....

A much whiter/lighter/brighter skin tone, no wonder this mask is a big hit, just 1 application you can see the difference....take a before and after pic each time you use it and be amazed like me.
