The Bath Box Lotion Bar Pure

Hello again,

Let's make this blog's front page filled with The Bath Box >.< haha!

The last product I'm going to review for now is Pure, a lotion bar called Pure by The Bath Box.

-*-;.

http://thebathbox.co.id/

Super natural lotion, preservative free, rich in moisturized butters and oils to keep your skin well hydrated. It comes with a cute solid flower bar form and lightweigh, not greasy at all, and great for travelling.
Plain: Beeswax, Cocoa Butter, Virgin Coconut Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, Shea Butter, Vit E.
Lilac: Beeswax, Cocoa Butter, Virgin Coconut Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, Shea Butter, Fragrance, Vit E

-*-

And when I first received it, the solid bar doesn't want to come out from the tin, it is stuck and the only way I can use it is by picking them up little by little using a spoon. And those solid thingy will melt on the warmth of my palm and then I can spread it on my skin. It felt unique, body butter is rich by texture and on the skin, lotion is light, this one is somewhere in between, kinda like oil but firmer. It absorb nicely on the skin and not as greasy as I though it would be and I only using it on certain areas like knees and elbows plus heels when I 'm going to bed. It was slippery, but not so much.

The 'Pure' theme I think also refer to the non scented formula where 'none' is significantly smelled, and it provide a lotion like feeling but more like a dry oil in the end.

Personally, it would be great for traveling in terms of reducing liquid intake when no baggage is purchased and on board where it is drier and colder, but when your hands are freezing, it is not easy using the product as it need warmth to melt.

Overall, a product that need improvements, I would love it more if it comes with scent and not as slippery as it is right now as it made my skin 'glows'. Tips on tackling with it, is to use it on a very damp skin.

And since it contains no harmful chemicals, even kids can use it but I think it would be great for old people where their skin can be very dry and itchy.

The Bath Box Florida Dream

Hello all,

This is Florida Dram Body Lotion from The Bath Box. Perfect to be used after shower.

-*-

http://thebathbox.co.id/

A soft emulsion, absorbs easly on your skin with delicate scent of honey, musk, and sweet orange. We’ve blended cocoa butter, almond oil, and aloe vera to soothe, soften, and nourish the skin. Moisturising with Florida Dream will leave your skin soft and sweet perfumed.
Ingredients: Water, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Theobroma Cacao Seed Butter, Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Cetyl Alcohol, Butylene Glycol, Citrus Sinensis Peel Oil, Fragrance, Propylene Glycol, Diazolidinyl Urea, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate

-*-

Put in a tub like body butter but it is as liquid as any body lotion and I prefer it to be in a bottle since I still have to pour it upon usage. I think I read a customer also suggesting the same thing to The Bath Box on their instagram account but The Bath Box insist this is what they want. Hmm, I think the customer is right this time.

Apart from that, it is kinda like Florida Dream, sweet, alluring and like a teenage dream when everything is pink and pretty. The scent is surreal and lovely at the same time. The texture of the product is like a liquid light creamy gel and easily absorbed by the skin. Far from heavy, I think it is made for normal skin and not really for dry skin. So those with normal skin wont have to worry about getting the skin greasy, slippery and all like body butter or an un-absorbed lotion, this one is drank by the skin in a flash, slurrrppp!

There will be like white thingy when first applied and then after 2-3 swipes it'll disappear.

The scent doesn't really last the whole day, and on a dry skin like mine the hdyrating feeling also only last for a few mere hours but those who have normal skin will definitely enjoy it more.

And as usual, like any other product from The Bath Box, no known harmful chemicals inside.

The Bath Box Goats Don't Lie Bourbon

Hello lovelies,

The Bath Box is here and back to my blog posts. I've reviewed some of them before and now I'm trying their Goats Don't Lie Bourbon.

-*-

http://thebathbox.co.id/

All natural goats milk liquid soap. Goats milk contains alpha-hydroxy acids such as lactic acid which help remove dead skin cells from your skin’s surface and promotes smoother skin beneath. The natural fats from goats milk and vegetable oils are keeping your skin naturally moisturized. With geranium oil helps improve skin elasticity and tighten skin, reducing the appearance of wrinkles. It also promotes blood circulation, helping to heal bruises, burns, cuts, dermatitis, eczema, and other skin conditions. Suitable for all skin types and all ages!
  • Our soaps are detergent-free, don’t have much bubbles. So if you need more bubbles, please use proper shower puff or use foaming bottle.
  • Keep out of eyes! If product gets into eyes, washed out with running water.
  • Our liquid soap is thin because we do not chemically thicken the liquid.
  • Allergy Warning: People with skin allergies should test the soap on a small spot of skin first and stop using if irritation occurs. Even this is natural soap with no chemicals, there are some people also allergy with natural ingredients.
Water, Organic Goats Milk, Olea Europaea Fruit Oil, Cocos Nucifera Oil, Ricinus Communis Seed Oil, Potassium Hydroxide, Elaeis Guineensis Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis Oil, Pelargonium Graveolens Oil

-*-

Definitely one of the gentlest liquid soaps I've tried and really doesn't make a lot of bubbles but the clean feeling after wash is there. The uniqueness of Bourbon is the scent, a bit like cooling minty, a bit like spices here and there and a touch of sweetness from the fruits and like a precious bourbon. We love it, the whole house love this unique scent.

And the effect for the skin? Definitely not drying but not really able to cure my super dry skin.

Aside from that, I love the fact that I can let the whole family use the shower gel since it contain no harmful chemicals.

-*-

Overall,

A great start for those who loves their skin and want to take care their skin without known dangerous ingredients. Clean the skin without striping them off their natural moisture.

Start from cleansing and let's go to my next post about pampering with the lotions, also with The Bath Box.

The Bath Box Vanilla Lip Taffy Sugar Lip Scrub

Hello pretties,

love to see those lips as smooth as possible? Well, this item might be the one that give you that result. A sugar lip scrub by The Bath Box.

-*-

With real sugar, shea butter, beeswax, virgin coconut oil, avocado oil, almond oil, vitamin e, and vanilla flavor *that somehow made it smells exactly like dunkin donut.

The product is so cute with it's 50's black and one style. The aroma of vanilla is like yums! And the oils in it makes the product unique, there are a lot of lip sugar scrub in the market, I must say, this one is the most buttery of them all.

-*-

Lightly scrub the lips in dry condition using Vanilla Lip Taffy Sugar Lip Scrub, just a gentle motions are enough, the thing is, I can't stand the overpowering vanilla scent that really like that vanilla frosting food. It's too much, I can just simply wipe it off with a cotton pad or tissue, but I ended up rinsing it up. However, the result is still visible. those tiny sugars able to clean and picked up the dead skin cells.

Result, a softer and smoother lips that made any lipstick and/or lip gloss glide on nicely.

Thank you @aischatz (instagram).

The Bath Box Party Time

Hi all,

back with more soap from The bath Box, a pretty looking bar soap that smells pretty too.

-*-

I'm a bit confused when accepting the product from @aischatz at first, why is it covered, after opening the paper wrap I found this party looking soap inside, complete with confetti, glitters and attractive colors.

The aroma of the soap is fragrant and very nice compared to Goats Don't Lie, but still in the mild zone (for a scent addict like me) and as usual, I love these products that contain no paraben, sls free and sles free too, as I do want my skin to be well and overall well being too. It's like investing in good products and doesn't let bad stuff piled up inside your system. Like when you see people who smoke and says they don't die after a few puff, but we all know the toxin are building their ways in making life miserable.

Same goes with products we use everyday, we might not experience it all at once in a go, but gradually and in long term period for a better future well being. We already has too many chemicals around us, right?!

Now, back to the soap, it lathers easily but the shape made it a bit not friendly to the touch, like the soap is slippery enough and the glitters and some parts is a bit like angry scrub on the skin. So I prefer using a sponge or a scrunchy then make tons of foams, and let the foams cleansed me all over. Since it doesn't contain sls and sles, the skin doesn't feel strikingly dry, it is comfortable all over.

Overall, a wonderful way to clean the skin without any worries from harmful igredients that might 'break' the skin.

Thank you @aischatz (instagram) for the lovely product.

The Bath Box Arm & Leg Green Tea Butter

Hello everyone,

I'm back with more products from The Bath Box sent by @aischatz , this is Arm and Leg Green Tea Butter. A body butter that is made from shea, mango, and cocoa butters, virgin coconut, apricot kernel, and meadowfoam oils, plus fragrance.

The Bath Box is still in their no paraben and sls free zone, safe to be used by anyone.

-*-

One feature that interest me the most is the texture that really looks like a whipped cream, but an oily one. Very soft to the touched, like a fluffy white foam, when spread on the skin at first it was pleasing but then the oils stays on the skin, making them look and feel greasy. This is perfect for those with extra dry skin, it contain the moisture inside.

With a lovely green tea butter that lingers on the skin.

On the hot and humid weather like Jakarta, I don't think this product would be my favorite, but when traveling abroad or in a dryer environment, my skin would thank me for this.

Can be used on elbows, knees and heels as well.

Thank you @aischatz on instagram if you want to know more and purchase the products from The Bath Box.

The Bath Box Goats Don't Lie Oatmeal

Hello all,

Goats Don't Lie Oatmeal is another product from The Bath Box.

It contains natural oatmeals on the bar, when used I can feel them scrubbing the skin nicely, it's like a scrub and soap in one.

The only thing is that the size is rather big, or my hands the one that too small, so I have to hold it well so it didn't fall.

-*-

Now, I've checked their instagram account and found out that they have so many items, their really like that UK brand I really love (but cost so much), they has literally gives us (local) better option with far better price. Fresher (made daily) and accordingly. I got mine from @aischatz, check her out on ig as well.

Now, back to the soap. It doesn't lather as much as conventional mass produced soaps in the market but it still give me enough lathering effect. It cleans the skin nicely and again, those oats are adorable. It's like helping the blood circulation in the skin, once done, I fell fresh, clean, but without those dry spell that other soap gives.

Regarding the smell, it is quite faint, at first it was like a soft caramel, then it's like almost nothing (blame me for having too much perfume everyday), but nevertheless is the wonderful effect on the skin which I think the main idea of this soap.

Oh, if you're wondering why they have it "Goats don't lie", perhaps due to the fact that it contains goats milk. Benefit? It can help those (ehm me) with psoriasis. A skin condition that looks like having a scar but mostly because of dryness.

Psst!!! All products from The Bath Box is suitable for ANYONE. Even babies!! Sweet.

Thank you @aischatz (those in Bogor area can directly order from her for a cheaper delivery cost).

The Bath Box Baby Attack

Hello lovelies

I'm back with another product from The Bath Box, and this one is my favorite (at least the most favorite up to this point, since I haven't try the rest). It's a lotion that really smells like baby powder (like that Johns*n and Johns*n white baby powder, the original one).

-*-

The white creamy formula is a bliss on the skin. It may look thick and creamy at first, but later on the lotion will 'disappear' on the skin, leaving the skin feeling soft, smooth, hydrated and powdery, like using a baby powder.

-*-

This product is perfect for those who are looking for a non sticky lotion, in fact this one is so not sticky, not even a bit. And the powdery scent is just lovely and a bit nostalgic. The skin will get that light-medium hydrating effect. Those with dry skin probably crave for something 'heavier' than this.

-*-

Overall,

An awesome lotion with 92,5% natural ingredients, no paraben and sls, and no mineral oil too. This lotion could be safer than most baby products sold in the market nowadays. For me, by using this lotion, I don't feel worry when cuddling with my babies.

-*-

Thank you so much.

The Bath Box Ocha Liquid Soap

Hello all,

I got a package of products from The Bath Box. Inside the packaging are these babies:

-*-

Ocha Liquid Soap, Party Time, Baby Attack, Arm & Leg Green Tea Butter, Luxurious Lip Balm, Vanilla Lip Taffy, and Goats Don't Lie Oatmeal.

They do have those dashing names aren't they?! With no known harmful ingredients such as paraben, sls, sles, mineral oil, or even triclosan, these babies are safe for those with sensitive skin, nursing mom, all age and all skin type.

Curious? Check out the instagram for The Bath Box products: @aischatz

-*-

The first item I've tried is the Ocha Liquid Soap. The one that smells so good.

When it's arrived there's a bit of leakage or perhaps stain at the border between the bottle and the pump. On the above image you might see the brownish color. But it's not messy nor a lot, more like just a few drops.

-*-

Now, as excited I am to try the product, I went in to the shower and I thought it would be like a very memorable experience with this self foaming liquid soap, hello, look at the ingredients, with the green tea extract and brewed green tea. But after getting myself wet and try to pump the bottle with my wet hands, it is not easy. It is much easier to pump it when the hands are dry as the liquid is a bit too thick for a pump container. It need to be diluted a bit more so the pump can went on smoothly.

-*-

Beside that, the product itself is quite good, the foam (after using a sponge) felt quite soft and fragrant. It's like a fresh jasmine tea scent. The lather cleansed the skin without making it dry. The aroma is mild, which means, it can only last for a while and gone almost the minute I left shower room.

Will I use it again? Definitely, this product is gentle enough as a facial wash as well as the skin on the body, it cleans without making the skin suffer. The only minor imperfection lies on the thickness of the liquid which after a while I can just simply add H20 into the bottle for a smoother pumping action.

Thank you @aischatz for The Bath Box.
