Miniso Honey Tangerine Fast Cleaning Eye And Lip Makeup Remover

Hello lovelies,

here's another cleansing product worthy to share and deserves to be reviewed for being so good in cleansing waterproof makeup.

A product which I found in Miniso Bangkok, so those in Indonesia who perhaps asking, it is not yet available in our country.

-*-

I'm interested in the product (hence purchasing it) since it have that honey tangerine tag heehee, the product must smell so good. I'm also looking for a makeup remover that can easily takes away waterproof makeup like a matte liquid lippies that stays so clingy on the lips.

The bi-facil liquid are always interested, the oils are on top and the watery liquid are below. Shake them well together before usage.

The pictures here are taken when the product is lying down, hence it doesn't really show, but you can see on the images below here.

-*-

Here it is, even the color represent honey tangerine, and the minute I opened the product the fresh sweet citrus scent is bursting happily, making me even more glad I purchase the product.

There's a sticker on top that reminds me to shake! shake! shake!

Usage 1. Shake it well before use. Put appropriate amount on the cotton pad and gently wipe to remove makeup and skin impurities. 2. Gently rinse off with warm water and apply basic skincare products to keep your skin hydrated.

-*-

Before I'm talking about the bad stuff, let's see the good things about this product. First impression, they look pretty, smells so good and here it is, I applied multiple hard core super waterproof products and I want to see how fast the cleanser is doing it's job.

I shake, shake, shake the formula and dab some on a cotton pad and try how this thing goes.

-*-

Voila! A single swipe and it takes everything that usually need two, three to several swipes.

-*-

The oils removes everything smoothly and leaves the skin a glistening effects. There's said to be a hydrating effect but it was the effects of silicone. Yes, this is the bad part mentioned earlier.

After being so exited with everything, checking the ingredients is a downer. Silicone might be good for making the hair seems silky (not for the scalp) but definitely not for the skin. The thing is, it traps everything from moisture to bacteria, no wonder some even get acne. So what do we do, double cleans this product.

After being falsely happy with the cleaning ability, I do another round of cleaning using the foaming facial foam and use micelar water with pads too making sure everything get clean up thoroughly and not leaving any cleansing residue behind.

-*-

So there you go, a bit of excitement, a bit of downside but nothing you can't handle as long as you understand the ingredients. Always double or triple cleans for protection and warm water might helps too in the end, just make sure it's not for opening the pores to get  more problems in but to get things out.

Enjoy!!

MINISO Sakura Bright Cleansing Balm

Hello lovelies,

yes, I know, you must have seen that cleanser has been my forte lately, somehow, when I'm traveling, I remember I need to get some cleanser, like there can't be enough of them heehee. We played with texture, aroma and of course, function, we are still (always) looking for that one cleanser that does all with the lightest texture or feeling possibly.

In Miniso, they have tons of doubt-able beauty product heehee, in terms of lack of details. But so far they are not as doubt-able as Daisho, which most I think not really works (beauty products), some Miniso toiletries are handy plus comes in ingredients that I do enjoy. I do noticed that some of them still contain high in paraben ( preservatives) but compared to mass produced items, they are rather better.

Walking inside Miniso, there's gotta be some stuffs that I immediately put inside my basket, and this cleansing balm is one of them.

-*-

It launch during the spring and of course, there's no way Japanese would missed this opportunity and let a sakura blooming season goes by, so they launch some products with sakura theme. This is their cleansing balm that smells sweetly like sakura.

The texture is a balm, so it's slippery, rather thick and slightly pinkish. There's a spatula given so we can easily scoop the product out. It was quite big, perhaps a tub can last for more than a month when used daily.

Just apply it on a dry dirty skin filled with waterproof makeup.

-*-

I use around 1-2 scoops and it's enough for the entire face, gently using clean and dry hands (plus fingers), I massages the skin all over. The eyes, lips, sides of the noses, everything, even lashes and other areas in between.

The texture of the balm might be thick, but they kinda melt on the skin, it's like the more I massage the skin or perhaps the warmth created by the friction or hands. They melts and take the makeup with them.

-*-

It's like the skin suddenly surrender and gave all the makeup up. During the massage, my skin feels comfortable, rather like being pampered and enjoying the pretty cherry blossom scents.

-*-

I add a bit of lukewarm water, or just about any room temperature water I can find, and create some kind of emulsion, gently emulsify the once rather sticky product into this liquid even more slippery collaboration.

After loosening the particles by adding a bit more water while keep on massaging, I made sure the makeup are off, and the product does work well, it removes all the makeup, even the waterproof one. Just be patient in getting those lashes with waterproof formula, wait until all the coats of mascara falls off before adding water. In fact, make sure all the makeup (including hard to be removed matte liquid lippies) are taken off from the skin before adding any water.

-*-

After convinced that the emulsifying loosen everything, I rinsed everything off with clean water and revealed a clean skin underneath. The feeling is really clean and I didn't use any other cleanser afterwards. They don't leave any residue on the skin, no greasiness, oily, nor any uncomfortable sensation, just clean skin ready for skincare.

-*-

Do I recommend the product? Yes! In terms of friendly price, effectiveness and the lovely scent of sakura. But regarding the brightening effect? Maybe it does have, but not really significant for me. It just made me clean, really clean.

Miniso Lavender Hydrating Toner

Hello lovelies,

Miniso is not just a store that sells many cute items for daily necessities like tools, kits, and so on, but beauty products too, some of them are even so good they are getting so many attention from the beauty lovers.

This is Miniso Lavender Hydrating Toner that literally contain lavender inside ... and smells so lavender-ly good.

The texture of the toner is unlike others where it's mostly watery, this one is slightly like gel and it's a pleasant surprise on where the lavender got out on the cotton pad, like a real flowers are inside. so cute. Sometime I'm using a cotton pad and sometime just squirt some on my palm and the gel like formula with it's cool texture helps the skin to soothe and relaxed. It's a unique texture and unique effect, no wonder it becomes a favorite by many.

As mentioned above the lavender smell is amazing and so fragrant, I'm enjoying as it makes me de-stress, I guess that's the sole effect of lavender, other than a well known anti-bacterial. Royalties in French have been using lavender for centuries thanks to it's many properties, I guess it's good for the skin too.

-*-

I can damped some cotton pad with the toner and use them as facial mask or like any other toner wipe my skin or by dabbing movement on the skin to help seals the moisture.

Overall,

does it worth the rave? Kinda, thanks to the gel-like texture and lavender, but it still has paraben in the ingredient list.

MINISO Floral Silicone Oil Free Smoothing Shampoo

Hello lovelies,

I always looking for that perfect shampoo, the one that smells so beautifully floral fragrance, contain no silicone oil since I know it was really bad for the scalp, and eventually made your hair falls out for being so clogging, and lathers well without making the hair strikingly dry. Finally, I found my dream in a shampoo bottle inside MINISO. Yes, MINISO,  not a beauty store, drugstore or normal daily market I went into, so it's kinda surprising and they are budget friendly too. It cost around 5 SGD (I bought mine in Singapore).

-*-

What does it says on the bottle,

Silicone oil free. Leave your hair clean, smooth and silky. Contains extractives from prenus speciosa, rose rugosa, iris florentina. Moisturizing your hair. Make it not dry any more. Make your hair bright and smooth.

And it was right, every sentence. Usually, using a silicone oil free shampoo means my hair still feel a bit taut, kinda dry, and mostly like I still need a bunch of conditioner or hair mask afterwards. Using MINISO Floral Silicone Oil Free Smoothing Shampoo is so different that other silicone oil free shampoo that I've used, MINISO made the hair feels so good, like so manageable and smells so romantically delightful.

I still need to use conditioner since my hair is severely damaged, but not as much as when I'm using other brand that cost 2 to 3 times higher. So it's like the best one in terms of function, effects and cost. I look at the product with one eye thinking how good could it be, like it shouldn't be that good, but it does, it was remarkable. Like a hair this soft should be because of silicone, but it's not, they must have put other moisturizing and silky-ing ingredients into the shampoo. They must have found some miracle ingredients that does magic. Prenus Speciosa seems like a thing that available in Diagon Alley.

Nevertheless, I seems like to find something that really precious in MINISO and I started to look at their stuffs differently now, as my next project in Singapore, I'll try more of MINISO's products and hopefully soon.

Words of the day: never judge a shampoo by it's brand.

Thank you for reading my post, see ya!
