Red Light Therapy in ERHA Clinic

Hello lovelies,

seminggu yang lalu, aku berkunjung ke Erha21 Lippo Mall Puri untuk melakukan treatment Red Light Therapy di ERHA Clinic. Jadi pada tahun 2015 aku pernah mencoba treatment rambut untuk pertama kalinya di ERHA Clinic dan direkomendasikan oleh dokter untuk menggunakan shampoo, hair serum, scalp spray dan sebagainya. Ruang tunggu di dalam ERHA cabang Lippo Mall Puri sangat nyaman dan aku rasa cukup lengkap. Selalu ada dokter yang standby serta alat-alat yang memadai. Setelah membuat janji, kita biasanya cukup menunggu sekitar 15 menit sebelum bertemu dengan dokter, hal ini tentunya cukup efisien bagi para klien yang cukup sibuk.

Saat aku masuk dalam ruangan, dokter dan staff sudah memiliki data aku dan mengetahui apa yang kurang lebih aku butuhkan. Namun pastinya untuk lebih teliti dalam mendiagnosa, dokterpun menganalisa kulit kepala aku. Ternyata ada masalah seperti sensitivitas dan kurangnya rangsangan pada kulit kepala sehingga pertumbuhannya tidak maksimal. Serum dan produk yang aku pakai dari Erhair Growth Series akan lebih optimal jika aku rajin melakukan Red Light Therapy setiap 2 minggu.

Red Light Therapy telah teruji Secara klinis memberikan perbaikan sejak minggu ke-4. Waktu pengerjaannya pun kurang lebih 30 menit. Tidak lama bukan?! Staff yang bertugas langsung memulai treatment dengan mengaplikasikan semacam cairan sebelum Red Light Therapy dimulai. Prosedur Red Light Therapy nya sendiri 27 menit dan rasanya hangat dan buat aku cukup nyaman. Tidak ada rasa panas, sensitivitas ataupun perasaan lainnya, bahkan aku bisa take a nap selama prosedur.

Semuanya terlihat merah ya dan intense. Tetapi tenang saja, benar-benar nyaman. Silau dari lampunya pun dibuat sangat minimal dengan ditutupnya mata kita. Karena ruangannya cukup sepi dan tertutup, kita bisa melakukan treatment dengan perasaan tenang. Bangku untuk Red Light Therapy ini adjustable sehingga kita bisa minta lebih tegak atau lebih bersandar.

Rambut Lebih Tebal dan Kulit Lebih Terawat dengan Erha

After using Erha products for my hair and skin condition with Erha Hair Grow Shampoo, Restoring Hair Moisturizer (aka conditioner), Hair Loss Tonic, Age Corrector Serum, Age Corrector Moisturizer, and Perfect Shield Helios a Total Skin Protector with SPF 50 PA++, for around a month I gained more insight regarding their products.

Let's start with their hair care. The shampoo is perfect for detoxing the scalp from buildups. I've explained some on my previous post regarding Erha on how products in the market contains so much silicone that it might make the hair seems silky and smooth but it is actually blocking our roots, so our scalp need to be cleanse thoroughly for the hair to grow well. Erha Hair Grow Shampoo does that, it super cleans everything, like your head just got a spring cleaning heehee.

My suggestion based on experience is that, I'm using the shampoo daily for the first 2-3 days, and then once every week when the scalp is cleaned, so daily I'm using another shampoo (that of course doesn't contain silicone anymore). Since Erha Hair Grow Shampoo also removed sebum and grease really well from the scalp, it might feel a bit too dry when used often on a normal scalp, so please do consult with the staff or doctor during purchase, these babies can be used as needed. As often or as seldom as your scalp condition. Again, for me, once to twice a week is suffice to tackle those oily roots, it kept them in behave mode.

I used to have very oily roots, like I must wash my hair twice in a day to keep them looking airy, moreover I have bangs too, nobody like oily bangs >.<

That's why I'm looking for shampoo like Erha Hair Grow Shampoo that create a better ambiance for the new hair to grow and the roots to stays happy and breathing. Oils, sebum, buildup products choke the pores of our scalp. Using a detoxing shampoo release them.

Since the shampoo made the hair squeaky clean, moisturizing the ends is important, so the hair strands remain shiny and soft. Restoring Hair Moisturizer (aka conditioner) can be applied on the mid part of the hair all the way to the ends. Always avoid using conditioner on the scalp or near the scalp, they are made for the hair. The conditioner made the hair manageable too. So you can easily comb the hair.

Now, I have another tips regarding using Restoring Hair Moisturizer, I can also use it as a hair mask. Just use it like conditioner (after washing the hair and the hair still damp and wet) apply some of the conditioner on the hair, from the mid part to the end, use a warm towel to wrap the hair or shower cap, let the warmness of the head slowly coating the sealed hair, making the conditioner melts and becoming smaller particles that soften the hair even more and you can feel the silky texture even better without weighting them down.

Rinse everything after around 15-20 minutes and dry as usual. Do notice the shine and light feeling of the hair that's look healthier.

After the scalp being sets free and the hair is happy with the moisturizer, the scalp can again receive some nutrition, this is when Hair Loss Tonic steps in. Providing ample ingredients to support hair growth. The tonic is comfortable to be used everyday on a clean scalp, better to use them when the scalp still damp, before drying the hair.

What I like about the hair tonic is that, my husband can also use it, it is a unisex and gentle enough for everyone.

Now, let me continue on the products I've been using. Their skincare collection from the serum, moisturizer and of course, the sun protection.

Let's start with the sun care called Perfect Shield Helios a Total Skin Protector with SPF 50 PA++ which I think has become the highlight during my trip to Japan on June-July 2018.

I'm so lazy in terms of using sun protection since most of them is sticky, feels so thick and gave me that awful white cast. So I do avoid using them, usually I'm using a BB Cream that already contain sun protection but was told that it wasn't enough, a sun protection on its own is still needed. So I'm using Perfect Shield Helios a Total Skin Protector with SPF 50 PA++ and felt like it could be the one.

The white cream is not sticky at all, not greasy too, far away from thick feeling and no visible white cast too, it was perfect. I love the light feeling, comfortable on the skin and natural look. I've been using it during my holiday since I've spend those summer days under the sun. Visiting Tomita Farm, Furano famous lavender field, and many other outdoor activity like Rusutsu Theme Park which for sure, I'm there during the days where the sun are shining. Even when it's drizzling with rain, the sun protection is still needed, UV protection is always a key to a better skin condition. It's not just for dark spots but wrinkle and skin disease too.

Perfect Shield Helios a Total Skin Protector with SPF 50 PA++ can be used with skincare and touch up too, like whenever you feel like you've been under the sun for too long. After sweating a lot or drench by the rain, simply apply another layer.

The product is slim, I can slip it in my bag easily, and I can have my entire family safe from the sun using this too. Most of Japanese people use hats and umbrella when they are out in the sun, even their clothing are empowered with UV protection, they know the side effects of sun rays, we are just stepping out from our comfort zone by understanding this. The key to youth also lies in sun protection, so always use proper gear and a good sun protection everyday. You don't have to hide when there's sun, simply shield up ^__^

Last but definitely not the least,
Age Corrector Serum, Age Corrector Moisturizer which I'm also using. I'm a big fan of the serum which gives my dry skin a proper hydration and absorb almost instantly. The gel texture is so comfortable and the moisturizer that I'm using 2 times a week. The rest of the days I'm using a full hydration moisturizer.

Age Corrector Moisturizer is focusing in creating a smooth skin that has been defies by aging, so it also helps regeneration, and good for dull skin. On my dry and sensitive skin, using it twice a week is enough, my skin feels and look younger thanks to the rejuvenation it gives. And of course, the skincare works synergically with Total Skin Protector with SPF 50 PA++.

I was confuse, I'm thinking of the perfect title for this post and I think #TerjebakErha is spot on. Here's my story,

So after having a blast under the sun, and having a thing or two with age, where I know, I know, most people said age is just a number, but the signs are kinda there. The hair which is not as luscious as before, not as thick and strong as before. My skin which does show some aging signs like the laughing lines, not as firm as they used to, easier in getting dark spots, dry hair, and of course, I want solution, I want something that made a difference, hence this hashtag comes to life: #TerjebakErha. The shampoo comes in a two sizes bottle, 100 ml and 250 ml, the 100 ml can be used for up to 2 weeks for my hair length. Both of the bottles (shampoo and hair tonic) have a good designs in details of product information, color and tone. I like what they did to their products.

They look like a products from overseas, very trendy yet have that apothecary essences.

Since I have two kids, for some reasons that even doctors can only said perhaps it's hormonal and common, I do suffer hair loss, it's not really bad or severe, but it does appear different, the numbers of hair growing on the roots is not as many as before. Did you know that a single root can grow 3-5 strands of hair at once? So when some of mine only grow one or two hairs, it means that it is not as thick as before.

Diet, lifestyle and many other things does have effects on the hair growth, for me perhaps it's the lack of sleep and occasional junk food (guilty as charge). These things also some of the cause of agings for the skin.

Let's go back to the shampoo, the first thing I've notice is the smell, it's like a fresh herbs, a modernize herbs that is refreshing and comfortable. The color of the product is clear gel and pretty thick, so it is not runny. No need using too much as they are quite concentrated.

My hair needs the nutrition and the scalp need to take those formula from the shampoo, so whenever I'm washing my hair with HairGrow Shampoo, I took my time and try not to be as quick as I used too. I let the product sits on my hair of at least a few more minutes.

I felt no sting, no irritation, no discomfort when using the products.

While the hair is being cleaned thoroughly with the bubbles, I noticed that I didn't need to use as much shampoo as other brand. Like it was pretty thick, dense and the gels lathers super well making my scalp feels so fresh, this is perhaps another highlight of the shampoo, since shampoo is made more to the scalp than to the hair strands. It's the source of the hair growth.

If the scalp is well taken care, the hair growth could be optimized. I do noticed that many people have their scalp blocked by dirt, sebum to hair product buildups. So the scalp need to be detoxed too.

When the scalp is cleaned thoroughly, the nutrition given afterwards from the hair tonic can goes into the roots without anything blocked the way. Same goes with our face where we need to clean all those dirt, sweats, makeup and all, scalp and hair need to be cleaned too so the product used afterwards can work well.

The thing about cleaning the hair, most shampoo in the market contain too many ingredients that actually blocked the scalp, not Erha, they made their products understanding these principals.

After towel dry the hair, use the hair tonic before using the hair dryer or completely drying the hair. So the scalp 'pores' is still open and ready to absorb all those goodness from the hair tonic.

I've been using all of their products for days now, so you can say that these are like my first impressions, no worries, I'll share with you another post after trying them at least 2-3 weeks.

So far, what I enjoy from using the hair tonic is that it doesn't contain a high alcohol like a lot of hair tonic in the market, so there's no allergic reaction, sting and for sure, no overwhelming fragrance that made you wonder whether this is a hair perfume or a hair tonic. Do notice that fragrance is actually one of the major factor for irritants.

The white creamy product is easy to be used and no noticeable scent. The conditioner is used right after shampooing, on a wet hair and away from the scalp. You can even use a wide tooth comb to help distribute the conditioner. A hair that is flexible and coated by the conditioner will be tougher to break, hence in a sense, it helps the hair to stay thick too.

Some people may suffer hair 'loss' due to breakage, so their scalp is fine and doesn't have problems with hair growth so due to the terrible dryness of the hair it breaks midway. By using tonic to support the nutrition from the scalp to the hair and conditioner that cover the strands, they both work hand in hand making sure the hair grow well and stays well.

Since I abused my hair so much with bleaching and coloring, of course I need the conditioner, it made my hair bearable again. Before, combing it feels like a difficult task, now the conditioner made my daily routine easier and helps my lifestyle too.

And did you know that most of Erha products are affordable, they range are around Rp.100k, so a good quality product doesn't always comes in a hefty price tag heehee, so happy.

In terms of my skin, of course I'm in the aging area, I'm 37 and that's not really young. If people look closely on my bare face they'll notice the dark spots and fine lines, these two things are the main focus for Age Corrector serum and moisturizer, so these two babies are spot on for my face care.

The texture of both product is like gel. Very comfortable and I'vebeen enjoying using them. Each only need a pump for the whole face. Do clean the skin thoroughly and use toner before the serum. I can also use any face mist before the serum before continue with the moisturizer. I noticed that even thou the moisturizer keep my skin moist, it's not as oily as other product I've used before. It's like a perfect merit.

I have a dry skin, so I tend to use a creamy moisturizer that is very rich and well, boldly there, like even the whole family complains how slippery my skin is, since other moisturizer for 'normal' skin wont do, it doesn't keep my skin hydrated.

I do mentioned that I have dark spots right? That's because I often skin the sun screen on daily basis, thinking that my makeup already contain sunscreen, but it's actually not enough. Many makeup lover like me avoid using sunscreen since we are 'scared' of whitecast, thankfully, Erha Helios Daily Use is so light, grease free and don't create that whitecast we feared about.

I was sceptical that I would love all of their products that I'll be trying, but I guess I was wrong, I'm happy that I open my eyes and my senses when trying these babies to find faults, mistakes or any discomfort, which I find none. They are all so good, and I hope they'll give me more positive reaction, like the hair can grow more and the skin appear more flawless, less lines and protected from the sun, hence avoiding future dark spots. Rene Furterer Curbicia

Hello lovelies,

as my previous review for Rene Furterer (read HERE) this is a separate post made specially for Curbicia, a product which I love since 15 years ago when I started using Rene Furterer, especially Curbicia.

My scalp has been oily and I know and has been told as well by the team from Rene Furterer, if I want to keep my hair lusciously thick, I have to maintain the cleanliness of the scalp. Oily is fine, but when leave it that way it can lead to blockage which prevent the hair growing from the scalp.

Gently wash your hair while purifying an oily scalp

CURBICIA regulating shampoo eliminates excess sebum from the scalp and allows for less frequent shampoos. Hair is light and enveloped in a fresh aroma.

Used directly on the scalp when it is dry and dirty (best after Complexe 5) and leave it on for a while (like 10 minutes).

The greenish clay is light and fragrant, but even when they look so cute, gooey and innocent, they are still powerful enough to absorb those excess oils on my scalp.

After around 10 minutes, add a bit of water and shampoo too only for the hair and areas that doesn't get Curbicia. For me, I always put Curbicia only on oily zone and avoid the rest for a precise treatment.

Other shampoo can help other areas as needed, like colored hair need shampoo to maintain the color, and etc.

Since the tip is small enough for the clay to be applied on the exact spots (or line) on the scalp. The feeling is very much comfortable and I really like the scent too, it is refreshing orange, clove, rosemary, thyme, the combination is just perfect.

It helps the scalp to purify, refreshed and clean, like detoxing the scalp from those sticky oils.

The result is a clean and happy scalp that can breathe easily. Products used afterwards such as tonic or hair serum can be absorbed better.

After being dried, the hair feels so much comfortable, the scalp especially. I can repeat this treatment 2 times a week to help maintain and prevent the scalp to be covered in oil and let them stay fresh longer too.

I can use either one, and since I only need to do the hair treatment all together like twice a week, I'm using Forticea with the hair growth series and Okara on other days.

And after massaging the product into my scalp I'm now using Curbicia on the area that is thin and very oily like in the top part of my head.

Let it sit on the scalp for around 10 minutes before heading to the shower room.

This is what Forticea looks like in close up. So cute with those green dots and clear gel. It cleans the scalp and hair beautifully. Lathers easily but doesn't made the hair dry and coarse. It is clean and refreshing without any discomfort.

And after conditioner only on the ends of the hair. I finish rinsing everything off and ready for the next step, Triphasic.

Use twice a week for the 1st month and then once a week for the 2nd and 3rd month. Step 1: Turn the cap all the way to the right to release the powder. Shake vial to mix the ingredients. Step 2: Apply with the applicator tip to a clean scalp. Massage into the scalp concentrating at the crown. Do not rinse. Proceed to styling.

When the cap is twisted downward, the cap inside will release powder and just shake the closed bottle to mixed everything inside. And then like opening a bottle of syrup medicine or children's vitamin, press it a bit before twist it open on the clock wise direction to open the 'ready-to-be-used' formula on a clean and stimulated scalp.

Drop them directly on to the scalp and evenly.

Massage them a little bit when all the part of scalp receive Triphasic and then dry as usual.

The product is comfortable to be used, mildly fragrant and refreshing thanks to the Orange and Lavender aroma and I'm enjoying using the products since it doesn't sting, contain high alcohol like other hair tonic in the market and doesn't make my scalp feel greasy nor sticky.

Result can be seen as fast as a month when tiny bulbs of new hairs emerge.
