Estee Lauder Pure Color Love Lipstick

last week one of the highlighted event is Estee Lauder has now officially available in Sephora Indonesia. Seems like more and more brand are joining the crowd. I wish Sephora Indonesia will soon join the worldwide membership as I loose a lot of points when purchasing it here.

During the event, I manage to try two of their shade in Proven Innocent Ultra Matte (above) and Rebel Glam Ultra Matte (below). Let's just say even when randomnly picking the shades, my hands are still on the mattes haha!

I wish I can get my hands on Up Beet or Moon Rock.

A quick makeup demo is presented showing how easy it is and there's no limit in creating the shades, mixed and matched, from layering lipstick, ombre, to simply having fun with not just different shade but finish too.

Some has a more buttery texture while some like Ultra Matte are more to the dry cream. Don't get me wrong, they are still comfortable on the lips and no dry spell.

Above are the matte and below are the shimmer pearls I manage to do swatches, as the event is crowded everyone is getting their hands on the lippies, it is exciting.

The variety of colors are mainly on pinks and nude, but no worries, there are options for the bold and vivid dark colors. 30 colors for your pleasure.

The container itself is gorgeous and really show the dynamic side of the brand for future generation. It was clear with light gold metal like inside. Each have a colored bottom just like the lipstick inside.

The tip of each lipstick is unlike other lipstick that was mostly rounded, they have two edges and looks sharp. Like the young minds.

Let's start with 410 Love Object. This is one of the lipstick from Ultra Matte, yet somehow on me there's some light reflection hard to be missed. But it's still totally matte. The scent is like any other one of the collection, warm vanilla butter that not overwhelmingly sweet but just enough.

I love this color, it's dark and sweet at the same time.

Next one is 260 Sky High, a Shimmer Pearl that glossy and shimmery. One of the pale pink tone which is definitely irresistible. Like the pink frost.

One of my favorite nude which looks totally mine is 110 Raw Sugar. It was so spot on. And it's an Ultra Matte too, oh can it get any better?!

Feel bored and want to be a hallyu star? Try this bright orange with 340 Hot Rumor, one of Edgy Creme. I don't think I need to explain more as just look at the image above and it brighten up the mood as well, as fresh as an orange.

Estee Lauder wont failed you in terms of finding the Ultra Matte red tone in 310 Bar Red. It is as good as it gets. The redness is perfect for just about anyone and without a hint of darkness.

Moving forward, a tone I can see myself using everyday, 250 Radical Chic from Edgy Creme. It's a hint of pink and red combined. A soft pink and soft red in one to be exact.

And another bright red tone is here number 220 Shock & Awe also an Ultra Matte with a hint of Fuchsia.

Last but not least is 460 Ripped Raisin from the Shimmer Pearl Collection and you can clearly see the pearls shimmering, like really want to show everyone how they can dazzle and dance in the sky.

Overall,

a great collection of lipstick with undeniable pigment and comes with several finish as an added bonus option. The two shades I have which is Bar Red and Shock & Awe perhaps the closest and sometime not really easy to tell them apart when used. So I think in the whole collection a few are similar as in only a tad of diversity through the tones. But we can still be happy as from the 30 shades that bases on pink, red, nudes, and purple, there are still orange, blue, to even grayish blue and deep chocolate too. I want the Cooled Chrome please (one of the variant apart from Ultra Matte, Shimmer Pearls and Edgy Cream).

The product is not transfer proof, water proof nor kiss proof but the color stays as long as it remain untouched. Cleaning them is easy using a lip makeup remover and without any traces.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay In Place Eye Pencil

after going back and forth whether I should review the product or not, since the beauty adviser told me that it was not waterproof, I was kinda afraid. My greasy lids can sometime beats waterproof products, so what does a water resistant product have a chance. Still, I'm curious about the color, Electric Cobalt, wow, that's gonna be something worth trying.

Wears for 12 hours. Sets in seconds.

This long-wearing, water-resistant eye pencil lines and defines with smooth, even color that looks fresh all day.

The lightweight, creamy formula glides on effortlessly. Rich, stay-true color won't feather or bleed.

Double-ended pencil has smudger on one end, color on the other. Sharpens easily with the Estée Lauder Pencil Sharpener.

And just look at that. The color is definitely worth trying. So bright, electrifying and glamorous at the same time.

It is like a crayon, easy to be used, soft and firm at the same time. It's perfect.

I can easily draw the inner lines and outer too, I find them suitable all around.

And does it melts easily? Not really. It has that resisting power as they claim, but doesn't really last 12 hours, not in this hot and humid condition. In dry air like Europe or USA perhaps, but not in Jakarta.

Typical problem of a person who has monolids, draw as thick as possible only to be seen as the thinnest line.

Overall, a good product that deliver bright blue color, easy to be used, smooth and glide on easily without fail and has a resisting power to stay in dry climate.

Suitable for adding some colors to the common black eyeliners.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Makeup To Go Liquid Compact

with the recent event with Estee Lauder, some products are shared to me, these three babies are the products mentioned.

The product I'm going to share today is one of my favorite from Estee Lauder, it's Double Wear Makeup To Go Liquid Compact.

The product itself is a round like a compact powder, but instead of compact, it's liquid foundation. Similar to Double Wear, only finer and thinner.

How to Use

The First Time
Peel off sticker on the compact base. Press button several times until makeup starts to flow.

Daily
Apply after your skincare regimen. Smooth on with the sponge or fingertips. Press button to release makeup: once for a light touch, twice for more coverage.

After Every Use
Wipe off excess makeup from the compact base with a clean tissue. Shut compact tightly.

To Clean Sponge
Wash gently with mild soap and warm water. Squeeze gently to release excess water. Do not twist or bend sponge. Lay on a flat surface to air dry.

Like mentioned on the data shared on their official website, when first use, peel off the sticker and find the white round thingy, then gently pressed the part where it looks like a 1/8 of a circle on the bottom part. The liquid foundation will comes out and the first thing I do notice is that it does far more liquid than the original Double Wear.

Double Wear is  famous for being so powerful in terms of coverage, long wear and it stays like nothing else. Imagine you're in an Indonesian wedding where the bride need to stay gorgeous from 4 am till 10 pm on the same day. This foundation do the job's done.

But there's a catch, it dries and sets so fast that sometime we need to add a bit of their iconic Advance Night Repair serum to help the product to stays liquid a bit longer.

Now, comes a product that is made for daily lifestyle, the one that everyone can use but still has the trademark of a Double Wear.

Comes with the sponge, a pretty hard one, a sponge that becomes my first to have this kind of consistency and density.

It's unlike any other sponge I've tried or had before.

It is tricky to pick up the whole foundation, even if it's just a single pump, like seen on the image above, there's still a lot left on the top of the opening.

The opening sealed closed again when it is not pumped, so in terms of hygienic, I guess it is.

Just remember to clean the surface after each use, which is a bit of a hassle.

Mine is in Bone 1W1, there's a round 20 shades, you should be able to find your perfect match.

Talking about hassle, does it worth?

Below is me after using the product. Look how flawless my skin becomes. And it has the thin and airy feeling like using none. This is probably the biggest highlight. Young generation nowadays doesn't like using 'heavy' foundation, we prefer lightweight product that provide coverage yet still looking like we're using none. Think about no makeup makeup.

It doesn't meant that the product can't be layered, it has ability to be build into the 'thickness' that we want. I can also use concealer, compacts, loose powder, and other products that add perfection and flawless finish to the ones that I preferred.

When I want a matte finish, I add more loose powder, especially the mattefying loose powder.  If I prefer radiance or glowing complexion, I don't need to add some, just a dust will do.

The product itself provide a velvety look.

I can adjust my look into many sides of me, from the bold, natural and daily to a complete daily look with minimum makeup that highlights the perfection of the skin.

Overall, a liquid foundation that comes in a unique container with a sponge that is too hard to be used, at least for me, I prefer using a foundie brush.

In terms of simplicity and easy to be used, it does, the product is user friendly in so many ways, but for those who are looking for a heavy duty foundation will prefer the original Double Wear Foundation with it's thickness and durability.

It doesn't meant that the Liquid Compact doesn't stay, on my skin, it does stays for around 6 hours without touch up, which is enough for my daily activity. Adding dusts of loose powder can add a good 2 hours.

Since the formula is lighter, it is also cleaned easier, I use my favorite cleansing oil and it's all gone in a single rinse without the need for a double cleansing. But I guess it depends on how good your makeup remover is :D

Thank you Estee Lauder Indonesia for the lovely products, it made me look flawless in a lighter way possible without looking cakey whatsoever. The product sets nicely with an ample of time for me to blend. Can be used alone or with loose powder, either way, I love the product!

These kind of lotion is famous all around the world, since our skin is more receptive with watery texture, products that comes in a lighter version but still rich and powerful in terms of effects are definitely on the rise. I personally looking forward using Micro Essence since they have launched.

And now I have it, and I'm so happy.

The product comes in this water like fluid, clear and has a very faint scent, which is kinda like a rice wine, but very timid. The feeling is comfortable when used and I was told by the staffs at Estee Lauder that I can use it right after toner and before serum. 

It was pure bliss, perhaps since I love skincare. It made my skin feels hydrated and looks moist. It is definitely better than using toner, serum and moisturizer alone, it add another layer of perfection to my skincare routine and so far, I can use it with any other brand and type of skincare on my dresser. 

The formula helps other skincare works better and absorbed better too due the skin condition which is moister.

Thank you so much Estee Lauder, this product surely a winner, anyone with any skin type and condition can give it a go, starting from around 18 years old and all the way up, this product seems to have no boundaries.

Last but not least, does it work alone, not really, it was made as a completer, it does hydrate but it wasn't made to be a single fighter, so use a good skincare and synergically they'll all works better, we still do need to use other reputable skincare for sure.

Do you read that? Non-acnegenic, this is awesome! This is actually better than non-comedogenic.

The formula is light and friendly to the skin, I wish I have mine in dry skin type, but this one is quite okay to be used in Jakarta.

My review:

The creamy white light moisturizer feels good on the skin. I uses it on a pre-cleanse skin, after a toner and a serum. Sometime just toner and this product. The moisturizing effect is suitable for my skin, I need hydration so bad, lately the skin has been so dry, no thanks to the hot climate here in Jakarta. Using air conditioner also make the skin dryer.

Unlike other moisturizer, Estee Lauder Hydrationist Maximum Moisture Creme doesn't feel greasy nor heavy on the skin. It even penetrate easily on the skin and kinda fast. Suitable to be used as a day and night moisturizer. By just adding serum according to the skin needs, the moisturizer with work together in making the skin in better condition.

Since I know that dryness can cause premature aging, using a good moisturizer like this will keep the wrinkles and other problems at bay.

Highly recommended for anyone who needs hydration.

My review:

I really enjoy Bloom as it contain the fullness of Pleasures and still being fresh, a bit sweet, and more alive! It's like the product carry the essence of Pleasures Intense in a more contemporary feeling. Suitable for those who are confident, beautiful, cheerful, fun to be with yet responsible, dynamic and sophisticated in the same time. It's like the full package deal. I think for me (and for now), this is the best version of Pleasures existed.

The EDP last around 4-6 hours, great to be used anytime, in the morning it lifted my mood, in the afternoon the scent bring out the gorgeousness, and when used at night time, it's like a perfume worth of a diva.
