Iris Bleu & Iris Blanc hand cream. As usual, the hand cream from L'Occitane contain shea butter that soften any hardness and dryness too, the hand will feel soft and smooth with a minimal slippery effect afterwards. The scent is clean and a bit like a manly masculine without being too much nor overpowering.

I love how fragrant it is, so it is beyond function, kinda like a hand perfume as well.

The following items are not really new for me, Bioderma Sensibio H20, one of my utmost favorite cleanser, with the micellar water and cotton pad. Those two items combine will create a powerful cleanser that cleans without making the skin dry. It cleans completely like no other.

Who doesn't need mask? We all do and we love how it make the skin feels afterwards. A good face mask deliver what it suppose to do. Either anti acne, oil free, hydration, nutrition or many other benefits.

And the masks too, the alphabet mask from Etude House that contains different 'key' ingredient on each alphabet.  The ones given to me this time is Olive and Shea Butter. For sure both are made for dry skin.

Hello everyone,

year 2015 is almost over, it's been a really fast one for me, feel's like I just gave birth to my second one and now she is almost two years old. I guess it goes well with the sayings of time flies when you're having fun, I sure do have plenty of fun in 2015.

Now, at the last month of the year, Sociolla sent me their Beauty Box, a curated items that varied from skincare, perfume, makeup and body too.

I find my favorite in L'Occitane Pamplemousse Rhubarbe Shower Gel. It was soft, delicious, citrus, sweet and wonderful to be used daily. It cleanses without making the skin dry. I'm in love with the scent and sending me one making me wanting the whole set.

The next item is an eyeliner from Prestige Cosmetics which doesn't stay long on my eye lines, in facts, it was pretty much making a mess with smudges.

And there's also Laneige Water bank Essence, Bioderma Sensibio H20, one of GlamGlow Mask, and a perfume from Acca Kappa that smells wonderfully floral with a touch of musk and freshness from the hint of fruits. Perfect as a sample but not enough for a perfume addict like me. I guess Sociolla give people enough to tease them and buying the real thing.

L'Occitane Pivoine Sublime CC Cream

Hello lovelies!!!

From a recent event with L'Occitane, here are the products received and needed to be reviewed. The main item is of course, the CC Cream.

This light hydrating cream contains CC pigments and transforms during application to immediately and visibly create perfect-looking skin.
The complexion looks even, fresh and luminous. The skin feels comfortable and protected (SPF 20). Skin is fresh, luminous and unified until the night.

Use the medium shade for an immediate radiant tone.

The L'OCCITANE Laboratory has combined the skin-perfecting peony extract with unifying CC pigments and illuminating pearly particles. This ultimate combination of ingredients helps to immediately and visibly create perfect-looking skin.

Alongside with the CC Creams comes the hand cream, EDT shower gel and body lotion, all from the Pivoine Flora collection.

All of them comes in a ruby, magenta, and deep pink. So pretty and a collection that any girls love to see and have.

And of course the lovely scent of Peony you wont be able to resist. Fresh, green and floral sweet at the same time.

Same goes with the EDT, the details are written on the box.

The EDT smells really nice, coherent with the whole collection. So wonderful, feminine but still greenly fresh and never overpoweringly sweet. The scent last around 3-4 hours, but when used altogether with the shower gel, body lotion and of course the EDT, it may last all day long.

And this is the CC Cream, even thou it's in natural, it looks so fair on me. But after a while, the shade will settles down to the skin tone. The CC Cream comes in two shades, light and natural.

And a few days later the event with L'Occitane, I've got another invitation of L'Occitane Workshop with Cleo magazine at PIK.

In this opportunity, and with a proper lighting, I can take more pictures of the products and do swatches too.

I happen to be using the CC Cream that day and as seen the CC Cream only helps correcting colors to be even but doesn't help with lines and wrinkles.

The comfortable texture is suitable for an everyday use and I just love the peony scent that last a while, it made my face smells good >.<

There's also tinted lip balm, as seen above the color is sheer and doesn't stays long as well. The one shown is in rose amber.

Beside the tinted lip balm, they also come in a clear formula.

And for a skincare addict, the essence and creams are just pure indulgence in terms of the scent and texture. It is suitable for those who wants a younger looking skin.

Skincare

The essence comes in a pump bottle and the moisturizer is in a jar container.

The essence has a lighter and more-like-gel texture while the moisturizer is creamier.

From the image below, the moisturizer is the where it settles the longest since it has to be on the skin surface, to keep the moisture seals inside. While the essence absorbs into the skin easier and better. Leaves a clear remarks on the skin.

After a while they'll settle and ready for makeup. This is when I'm using the CC Cream. The texture of the CC Cream Pivoine Sublime is moist, creamy, a bit glossy on the skin, like that mild radiant glow, even out the skin tone, blend-able well on a moist skin, and for me, I need loose powder afterwards or another layer of BB Cream/ foundation for a better coverage.

L'Occitane Pivoine

Hello lovelies,

last week has been a very busy week for me, in a day there could be 2-3 events and I'm pretty much exhausted. So, when L'Occitane invited me for a mini spa at Plaza Indonesia, I immediately say, yes please.

On the venue, everything is decorated with the pink 'pivoine' flowers, Pivoine is actually peony, one of the flowers that smells so good and hard to describe at the same time regarding their shape.

The full collection is shown during the event, it's all dressed in bright deep pink, a shade that surely feminine, seductive and alive at the same time. I can't help but be so happy to be there that day.

I can try and use their perfume, moisturizer, hand cream, all the way until their new cc cream as well.

Above is the collection of Pivoine Flora, which is products for body care, from shower gel, beauty milk, edt and hand cream which was swore by many beauty enthusiast to be the best hand cream ever!

As usual, L'Occitane is never shy on decorating the whole area like we were in France, enjoying the beautiful flower garden at a country side.

Then I went in and meet these lovely ladies for my mini spa.

I went here just using my hair roll and no makeup on. Beware, bare face alert!

The face is cleaned, massaged, serumed, moisturized and pampered in L'Occitane way. Using all products from L'Occitane, the staffs also pays attention on my skin and adding tips on how to enhance the skin condition and which products should I choose next.

Right after the mini facial, I'm ready for a makeup session from Gusnaldi Professional Team.

After using the skincare from Pivoine Sublime collection, this is the CC Cream moment I've been looking for.

At first, the cream is like a white lotion where after being blended, the shade will turn like our own skin tone, if you're fair, it'll look a bit like tan from the morning sun. If you have medium to dark skin tone, the shade wont be noticeable.

The one thing that we can all see, is the shine. Like that radiant glow on the skin.

The mild coverage even out the skin tone naturally, like we're using no makeup but appears with better skin condition and complexion.

Next, is their lip balm. There's the clear one and tinted. Since L'Occitane is about skincare, their tinted lip balm also comes in a sheer finish formula.

Mango Tree Spa by L'Occitane

Hello everyone!!!

This is my adventure in Bali, oh wait, should I say, escape in Bali. A retreat, back to nature, unwind and relaxation.

Arrived at Kupu Kupu Barong in Ubud area, I was so tense, well my muscles are. I need to enjoy this trip for sure, and while staying at Ubud, this spa has quite earn their reputation well, like recommended.

This is the entrance, a L'Occitane shop fills with their wonderful goodies.

After carefully reading the menu and consulting with the staffs, they suggested that I try their Deep Tissue Massage, and I agree.

My husband and kids who waits for me, get a free drink and macaroons as snacks.

They gave me two options, spa indoor or at the Mango Tree. I opt for the Mango Tree since this would be the highlight. An open window spa rooms, singles or couples, they have it here. Inside each 'cabin' there's also shower room.

The view is amazing and like 'back to nature' in full force.

The toiletries in the shower room is of course by L'Occitane, there are also softlenses liquid to rinse and storage provided. Disposable panties, brushes, combs, and shower cap as well.

How about the massage?

Hmm, how can I put it down gently?! It's disappointing. Here's the list of the things that I think are the reasons why I'm not going back there again.

The oil for massage is mango oil and it is not from L'Occitane collection.
The towels that provided for me is a brand new towel, as in never been washed before, smells like an old cupboard (as in hundreds of years old), contain many residue and the particles from the newly never been used towel as in cottons everywhere, it made me even dirtier after drying myself with it.

The massage technique by the staff is so not worth 1 million Rupiah by far. I don't know what happen but she stops on random areas like something is bothering her or I don't know why and the hard aching muscles are still pretty much there after the massage session is done. It is not relaxing, not comfortable and just plain weird, like she is doing the massage halfheartedly.

I've been massage at many spas before and her technique and massage equals to one that usually cost around Rp.50.000 per hour.

Aside for that they do have an amazing features, so perhaps, if I ever come back, it's for these in the images below:

But for the massage, hmm, perhaps I should try other therapist, but not in the near future as it still kinda hurt...financially.

Other than the massage service, other service and hospitality is just superb, I did mentioned the drinks provided, it is a refreshing fruit and herbs. The snacks is not like other 'cheap' snacks, but macaroons, perhaps I'm paying for those instead of the massage.
