Lakme Classics Reinvent Brightening Foundation, Compact Powder, and Eyebrow Pencil

Hello lovelies,

this time I'm back with makeup from Lakme Classic Reinvent brightening foundation, compact powder, and eyebrow pencils. A set makeup that recently been shared by Lakme Cosmetics. Now, this one is actually a range that was more affordable alias murah sis. Foundienya aja Rp.79k dan pencil alisnya Rp.49k, so they are realllyy budget friendly.

But still, even thou' they are in the budget friendly zone, they are still good and for me? Effective in so many ways possible.

I couldn't really find details about them on the web.But Lakme gladly handed me some of the product information needed and I'm going to pass some to you.

First, let's start with Skin Brightening Foundation yang waterbased, jadi clearly, jauh lebih ringan daripada yang oil based ya. Meski terasa ringan dan melembabkan, jangan salah, coverage-nya buildable, pemakaian 2-3 kali udah nutup banget semua yang perlu di"hilangkan". Ada kandungan niacinamide, nah inilah bahan yang bantu memcerahkan kulit.

Foundationnya ada 4 shades yaitu Fair, Light, Medium dan Deep yang menurut aku ini udah cukup banget pas buat kulit orang Indonesia or perhaps Asian too. Karena perbedaan 1 shade ke yang lainnya cukup lumayan, dibawah adalah foto swatch compact powder dan foundation shade Fair dan Light.

Paling terang adalah Fair, 2 swatch pertama dari kiri adalah powder dan foundie Fair, dan dua dari kanan adalah foundie dan compact Light. Keliatan banget kan bedanya, jadi jangan salah, meski gak tersedia dalam 40 shades yang bedanya tipis-tipis, ini bisa di mixed antara 4 (fair, Light, Medium, Deep) untuk adjust ke warna sesuai dengan yang kamu inginkan.

Meski memang mungkin buat yang kulitnya super gelap, shade nya belum mumpuni, jadi buat saudara kita yang dari Papua contohnya, mungkin harus cari brand lain. Semoga someday shade Lakme lebih banyak ya.

Finishnya efek natural matte, yang aku sih merasa cocok, karena pas buat sehari-hari, gak matte kering, gak dewy gossy juga yang  kadang kalau dipakai outdoor jadi kayak super shiny. Tapi foundienya bisa di blend dengan produk lain until I get the right finish that I want. If I want it to be super matte, just add matte powder in finishing and if I want a dewy complexion, I can focus on glowing base as well.

Cleaning the product after use and like on all of other makeup, simply use a makeup remover all over.

Now, let's continue with the next item, the compact.

Compact powder rasanya masih cukup heits ya buat dipakai sehari-hari, dengan wet sponge atau dry brush, untuk mendapatkan hasil yang berbeda. Mengandung vitamin B3 and skin brightening pearl.

Shade nya sama dengan foundie, ada 4 dan namanya juga sama, Fair, Light, Medium dan Deep. Deep bisa dipakai untuk contour dan eyeshadow, seperti semua makeup ya, apa yang bisa dipakai di bagian muka ya bisa buat semuka hehe. Seperti lipstik bisa buat cheek cream, eyeshadow yang bisa buat shading, dsb.

Mari kembali ke compact powder yang kacanya cukup buat aku sumringah karena the size itself is big and satisfying. Puff nya sih standart dan bisa diganti dengan tools favorit, which for me, powder brush. Coveragenya juga buildable, jadi setelah pakai foundie lalu ditambah dengan compact powder ini bisa maksimal menutup segala permasalahan di kulit, nah soal harga? Rp 69k saja. Bayangkan budget friendly banget kan.

Buat aku pribadi, foundie dan powdernya pas buat dipakai sehari-hari tanpa bikin kantong jebol, dan perasaan saat menggunakan kedua produk ini juga cukup nyamanm bahkan agak-agak kaya tidak berasa pakai apapun, karena memang lightweight. Mungkin karena foundie yang water based tadi cukup berperan dibanding yang thick creamy apalagi oily texture.

Dengan alasan ringan in pulalah, mereka saat dipakai berbarengan lebih awet di kulit. Engga terasa pakai. And one more thing, the powder contain SPF 20 which is light I know, tapi lumayan buat nambah-nambahin SPF di kulit daripada engga ada.

Sekarang, mari kita mengupas eyebrow pencils nya yang ada pilihan brown dan black. Pada foto diatas, I'm using their brown shade which already seems deep enough for me, still, I like the black one too since it add a different dimension on me. Jadi paling pakainya sesuai mood/ look yang diinginkan.

Produk seharga Rp. 40k ini, paraben dan oil free. Mengandung Vit E, mudah digunakan dan mudah diblend. Meski pensilnya kelihatan kering, di alis tetep super nyaman dan nempel banget di alis. Jadi pas pakai, pelan-pelan aja ya, jangan terlalu diteken biar gak bold sangat.

1 hal yang aku suka meski mereka gak waterproof, tapi staying powernya dapet dan smudge resistant. Jangan digosok-gosok juga, pasti ada pengaruhnya. Bersihkan dengan makeup remover sih gampang ya, sekali swipe juga hilang (oil base makeup remover), yang artinya, kalau kamu super oily dan gampang banget keringetan, tambahkan sedikit mattefying powder di alis, biar pensilnya lebih awet stay disana.

Tidak dilengkapi dengan serutan dan brush ya, jadi silahkan pakai serutan dan brush eyebrow lain hehe.

Jujur ini pensil alis yang cukup murah tapi very good. I really love it apalagi pas diserut gak gampang patah atau lumer, jadi gak ngotorin serutan juga kaya yang model crayon bleber gitu. Pas diserut sampe runcing, bisa bikin garis-garis super halus kaya baru habis sulam alis, sukaaaa banget!

Meski harganya budget friendly (banget) bukan berarti produk murahan yaaa, so far kulit aku gak ada iritasi atau masalah selama pemakaian, dan jangan lupa hukum yang berlaku untuk semua makeup, dibersihkan dengan seksama dan jangan dibawa tidur. Lalu kalau bergadang boleh? Yah jangan lah ya, setelah sekitar 8 jam cukup lah, dibersihkan saja kulitnya dan kalau butuh makeup lagi dibersihkan dulu, diberi skincare dulu, baru makeupan lagi.

Semua detail cukup ada di kemasannya, jadi silahkan dibaca di bagian box sebelum dibuang hehe.

Nivea Cream Care Face Wash, Bright Up

I got this baby from my trip to Japan last year. The creme care facial foam is been with us for the past few months and we did (we? me and my family) was using it on and off since there's always more than 3 cleanser in our shower room, so we did use it just not on daily basis. The creme itself is rich and satisfying, but drying. I can feel the dryness on my skin every time I'm using it, perhaps that's why I didn't use it on daily basis.

I must say, I dislike every products that says to remove dullness as it mostly exfoliating one way or another.

This is the thick white cute gel like rich cream, add some water and they'll transform into this luscious creamy foaming facial wash, but it's dense alright, I always add more water afterwards and not really enjoying the feeling when using it, it's like striping my skin, perhaps those with very dull skin, 'thick skin', in need for facial foam like this, but not me.

There are other variant available like Moist, Very Moist (perhaps I should've try this one), Bright Up (this one) and Refresh (supposedly for oily skin). I got mine in Japan, hence all the details in in Japanese, so I did take a picture using Google Translate and here are somewhat the details.

I think it's pretty much like the one I got from Donki above. Japanese product is very famous in Asia, but I wont say that all of them is good, some are so so and like this one, it goes into my "not favorite" item for sure, it's just too drying and uncomfortable.

Perhaps another variant, perhaps using it once a week, perhaps I'm not really a fan of it, but I'm not recommending it also. Price is around 14$.

This is the product, it comes with a delightful pretty white puff that is so adorable and clean. Wait until I started squeezing the tube and there it is, gently, slowly but sure the color comes out, so exciting!

Look at that! And the feeling on the lips is sensational, let's just say it's the feeling of silicone haha! The number one ingredients is after all dimethicone. So it's very smooth, very rich in velvety creamy sensation like the lips feels ultra sexy. I really enjoy the bold color and very fulfilling in terms of pigment and the velvet texture itself is amazing, I would love to try more colors from them, it's addictive.

The mask is pretty thick, it was said to be made using bamboo and I love how the juicy liquid feels like gels on the skin. The size of the mask also big, a man could fit in. There's no significant aroma, not heavily perfumed (thank youu), and comfortable to be used for 20 minutes to even 30 minutes. Just add more 'juice' since they provide plentiful inside the container.

Use it to cover the eyes or open it when you have stuffs to do. But they do recommend resting during mask time so the products works intensively better when the skin cells are at ease.

When using a mask, I always put it on a cleaned skin, and using a spray or toner, I want the skin to be damp and able to take the nutrition better, and when I'm using the mask, I can skip my usual serum and go to moisturizer right afterwards. Or, I can add more serums and have it on one go with the mask, basically, it's something that anyone can adjust according to your skin's need.

Most of the necessary details are provided on the packaging, mostly in Korean but don't worry, some in English too.

Open the mask after 20 minutes and see the skin getting the moisture it need. I don't really feel the significant differences upon using any of their mask, either Be Pure, Be Pretty, or Be Gorgeous, they all works just fine to moisture up the skin and made them appear supple and healthier.

Lakmé Absolute Reinvent x Anggie Rassly Precision Marble Eyebrow Pencil

finally, after months of thinking I've done the review on my blog, I know remember, I have none. Really sorry for everyone, oops, my bad. I think I'm overly excited with the giveaway, the goods itself and I'm traveling a lot lately, so even thou' I brought and been using the products often, I didn't really have time to write it down, well, here it is.

After months and months of using the eyebrow pencil, I think this post should be suffice heehee.

Thank goodness I still have pictures from the event, it was luxurious and classy isn't it?! The gold and black are a match like the product itself. Precision Marble Eyebrow Pencil comes in two shades of grey and brown. A two most sought after shades for eyebrows since they provide a more natural impact and the marble formula itself is a trademark which made us able to create a finer looking brows.

Anggie herself share with us during the event, that she always use more than one color to create her signature eyebrows for her client, maybe this is also one of her secret.

The product comes in a box where you don't just get a product, but a sharpener as well. Not just a cheap sharpener but a good quality one that is pretty reliable. The pencil itself is not too soft, it's perfectly made as it doesn't crumble easily when sharpened, yet still gentle on the skin. The colors does stick on the skin and hair without fail and hold on to it until being cleaned.

The Eyebrow Pencil is not waterproof nor rub proof. But it does have staying power, so it's more like a water resistant. As long as we don't keep on rubbing it off, the brows will stay put.

The pencil also comes with a brush on the other end. So this is I suppose an all in one product made with care by Lakme Absolute Reinvent, you don't have to worry about getting a sharpener and another separated brush. These babies works together in harmony.

The pencil itself come in a perfect size, not too tiny and not too big, you know, like a chubby stick.

I love the black color with shiny words. It's glistening in every angle.

The marble-ness can be seen on the product. It appear like a multicolored pencil, which it is.

Too Faced is back with their collection that made us cringe... in pure happiness haha, just looking at their stuffs somehow made me smile from ear to ear, either it is because they come in colorful variants or the smell itself. Yes, I can easily sniff them from the tester section in Douglas at Utrecht. There's no way I'm going out without getting some on my hands.

In this occasion I'm getting their Frosted Fruits in Pink Lemonade. I know I have too many makeups and highlights but still, this one smells so surreal-ly good haha! Like their chocolate and peach departments, oh, who can forget how delicious their chocolate bar is and how fresh the peach in those lovely orange-coral hue, like the world is took by storm. Many of their items also sold outs and gets out of hands like their famous Born This Way foundation. It's banana.... wait, they also have a banana powder smells exactly like ripe banana haha! It's a fruit vendor alright!

Now, back to the Frosted Fruit Highlighter Stick, I bought one since I think it's so good, well, most of their stuffs like eye-shadow palette also good, but thanks to the limited space on luggage, I bought this one and a mascara, yes, you definitely know what it is.

Since I don't have any highlighter stick and it is so different that the liquid, or the powder, like totally different (keep trying to make some sort of legit excuse in purchasing the item), I got the Pink Lemonade.

The packaging looks stylish, pretty and doesn't look and doesn't feel cheap. It goes back and forth easily. Upon opening the lid, the aromatic Pink Lemonade is just pure awesome, it's mildly sweet with so much freshness in between. The color is gorgeous, I love how pearly and golden it is with that luminescence ambiance. The cream is luscious and feels ultra smooth on the skin, and as suspected, the first ingredient is dimethicone as in silicone. If you happen to be sensitive with it, do avoid using the product.

Now, for the rest of us, do enjoy using it and don't forget to clean it properly with makeup remover as sometime silicone can cause breakout when left on the skin and blocked the pores.

So yes, when handle with care, you can get that lovely multi-colored glow that you've (ehm I'm) been looking for.

I'm applying it on my cheeks, I'm smiling since the Pink Lemonade aroma puts my mood to the top. Look at that watery effects like my skin is so moist and supple. It's the effect that most people are looking in a glass skin effect without any of the sticky and uncomfortable feelings such as itchy, oily and greasy. So when I'm using it, the Highlighter Stick is pure comfort. I can use it on my wet makeup, or dry, it doesn't matter, they don't destroy, ruin, or even faintly move the makeup under it. I can use it on my body too.

The Highlighter Stick is multi purpose, as I can use it for the whole face as well as a glowing primer. It somehow create that 'glow-from-within" aura.

Does the product worth the 30$ price tag? Hmm, not really, haha! I think it's more like a 20 dollar product, oops, sorry. Like it was rather pricey. I do like the whole Pink Lemonade extravaganza from the aroma, sensation when using the product, the smooth creamy feeling, the glow to even the packaging, but it does still feel too expensive. Aside from decorative makeup, it doesn't give the skin any skincare benefit, so that's why I find it over the top.

Still, I bought it..guilty as charged. So, in the end, I can't really say it's recommended or not, since I'm still torn in between. Will I buy another Too Faced cosmetics? Definitely yes!

Shu Uemura RD 163

a few days ago, I went to an event with Beauty Journal, and if you happen to follow @beautyjournal on instagram or mine @Carnellin, you must have known what is the event I'm talking about, yes! It's Shu Uemura RD 163.

There are so many iconic products born from Shu Uemura, their eyelash curler is still a hit till now, and then the Cleansing Oils (yes, more than one variants) and I'm blessed enough to have tried them all, and their lipsticks too, the one that surely high in pigment and coverage.

The products in which now available in Sociolla with 10% off (wow) is sold around Rp. 390k. Products? Yes, it's one shade with 3 finish variants.

I personally love the satin, it's perfect for any occasion, but wait, so does the lacquer, it looks so satisfyingly seductive and the matte appear super cool.. oh well, I like them all then, I don't think I can ever choose just one.

During the event, we are not just able to try the lippies, but we get to have fun.
