Lush Ocean Salt

Hello lovelies,

as facial exfoliating and scrubbing is never my thing, sometime I do still scrub my body, and when I do, I use only the best as it helps micro-circulation and in this case, smells so oceanic good too.

-*-

Coconut cream and sea salt scrub
Washing with Ocean Salt is like taking your face on a trip to the seaside for an invigorating splash in the water. The minerals in sea salt soften as it scrubs away dirt, dead skin and blockages for a bright, fresh face. We mix in fresh avocado and coconut to hydrate thirsty skin, leaving it balanced and soft. The cleansing effects of lime and vodka are ideal for blocked pores, blackheads or blemishes and leave skin visibly brightened. It's no wonder Ocean Salt is so enormously popular!

Splash water on your face and apply about a teaspoonful of scrub using an upward, circular motion to exfoliate and refresh the skin. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and pat dry. Ocean Salt can also be used on other parts of the body including chest, back, arms and legs.

Suitable for all skin types: Ocean Salt is beneficial for combination to dull and oily skin, and works well to occasionally exfoliate dry skin.
Our most exfoliating cleanser: Ocean Salt contains a combination of coarse and fine sea salt.
For an invigorating scrub: Salt and citrus oils can cause irritation for sensitive skin types. If you’re quite sensitive, we suggest using a gentler product.
-*-

So yes, it was recommended for oily skin, and for those with sensitive skin like me, be careful. For the face area, I use the scrub on the nose only as it tends to accumulate dirt, sebum and have a high chance of getting blackheads and whiteheads too. For the body, I use on areas that are acne prone, like the back side, chest and rough parts like elbows, knees and heels.

Since Jakarta is pretty much humid and I sweat easily, those acne prone areas on the body need Ocean Salt even more. Other part perhaps getting exfoliate once or twice a month, back side and chest could get once a week. And the product is so comfortable, it has rough scrubs since it is using natural ingredients aka coarse sea salt, but the more I scrub it, the more it melts, since it is salts after all. So I use it only when the skin is damp, not completely wet.

-*-

The color of the product is super cute, like it was not completely blend, so there's a gradation of white to soft blue, kinda like the ocean during winter. And it does have unique texture, with fine and coarse sea salt, it felt different. As salt helps cleans the skin, it disinfect too, it helps eliminating bad odor.

-*-

Overall,

Ocean Salt is one of the must have item in my home, it cleans, exfoliate and even thou it feels rough, it was actually gentle and I enjoy the effects on my skin and how it interacts. The after result that's liberating, fresh and super clean is addictive. As it contains citrus, it helps purifying and fights oily sebum.

Karma Kream

Hello lovelies,

this is Karma Kream, a luxurious and rich in texture body lotion from Lush Cosmetics.

Their karma collection is definitely a huge hits, thanks to it sweet citrus aroma that can't seem to be enough, it's invigorating, fresh and made the skin feels ultra soft and delicious too.

-*-

Smooth on our signature scent in a skin soothing kream
Our orange flower and patchouli oil body lotion packs good Karma into one kreamy pot. We created our Karma Kream to capture our best-selling signature perfume in a calming body lotion so Karma fans and converts can layer good Karma from head to toe. Smooth all over your body, taking extra care over your dry bits, like elbows, knees, and heels. A little goes a long way, so start small and use more if desired.

Good Karma: Perfect for those who want to nourish dry skin and layer the orange, patchouli and lemongrass fragrance of Karma.

-*-

The richness, aroma, and texture is just one wonderful blend that pampering. The scent from all those oils are unisex, anyone in my family enjoy using it and it last almost the whole day. When used with the entire products in the series, the scent will last all day long. I've tried their solid perfume too and use it until the last bit of it.

-*-

Karma Kream, a product that has been in my family for years and we've continuing to purchase this product is definitely a sign that it was really loved. A mood booster, addictive and pampering, definitely recommended.

Lush Shower Jellies

Hello lovelies,

Christmas is literally around the corner and I just can't wait for those moments. It's a mixed between moments of holiday, taking a break and best of all, family time and really just enjoying those moments with your love ones.

-*-

And as weird as they sound, somehow for me, Christmas has that specific scent, it's a bit sweet like berries but warm too, with a bit of vanilla and cinnamon, or perhaps something that a mix of all, it reminds me of a good ol' days. It reminds me of home and being together.

Lush, once again, in their seasonal products are here with the Shower Jellies, Santa's Belly and Snowman to be exact and Refresher, which is a family favorite all year long for it's super citrus scent.

Now, let's meet them one by one.

-*-

Snow, snow good
Wibble and wobble this snowman-shaped shower jelly all over your body. He's made with a refreshing and sweet scent, and we've added buchu, bergamot and Sicilian lemon oils for an extra mood boost. Seaweed and glycerin help this glide over your skin, leaving it soft, clean and smelling as fresh as a sunny winter's day.

Crush a small bit of jelly into a shower pouf to create a rich lather, or rub it right onto your body. Rinse clean and enjoy your soft, scented skin.
Do you smell carrots?: We've included carrot infusion for its lovely cleansing and nourishing properties.
Self-preserving: This jelly's made without any synthetic preservatives like the rest of our Christmas range.
Gift the fun: This one's the perfect uplifter for anyone who's feeling blue.

-*-

First of all, it's the longest bunch from these three. The rest are just simply in a similar form. Not really the same but similar, as the white one is much bigger. And yes, I put them on plate on the image above as they are so slippery and wet. There's no way I can hold them without jiggling :D

Each has their own characteristic, like so lemony fresh, white as snow and big, or golden berries like santa's outfit.

-*-

Crisp apple jelly
This deep red jelly is full of Christmas magic. Star anise infusion, and fresh apple and grape juices are blended into the soft seaweed base to brighten and cleanse skin, and for their sweet, fruity scents. Biodegradable golden stars are sprinkled throughout for a dash of happiness. Keep the whole jar in the freezer, then bring it into a hot shower for a stimulating and refreshing apple-scented lather!

Freeze! We suggest keeping your jelly in the freezer and taking it out when you're ready for a stimulating, refreshing shower.
So White: Santa's Belly shares its fresh apply fragrance with So White Bath Bomb.
No worries: The glittery golden stars are completely biodegradable.

Oh this one, it's no end in loving shower jellies isn't it. They smells super fresh, irresistible texture that made me want to hold them all day long, like playing but also cleaning at the same time. If I took a while taking a shower, it must be the shower jellies, and having a bunch of them is like bringing joy whenever we took a shower haha!

The whole bathroom smells so good and holiday mood is in the air. It is indeed so much fun.

-*-

Get in a lemony lather
When it's nice weather for ducks outside, head straight for the shower with this lemony jelly. Inside, an explosion of fresh organic lemon infusion, lemon oil and organic lemon myrtle will blow the blues away. To get your skin really going, leave your jelly in the fridge and take it out only when it's time to shower. The rush of cold will send blood pumping to the surface, delivering a super-refreshed feeling.

Crush it into a shower pouf to create a rich lather or rub directly on your body. Try freezing (or chilling) first for an especially cool, refreshing shower or bath experience. Shower jellies also make great shampoos and add lots of softness and shine to hair.

Get ready for this jelly: Put it in the fridge for a refreshing jolt any time of the day.
Lemon, lemon, lemon: We've packed tons of lemon into this one for a truly invigorating zing!
Sea what? Carrageenan seaweed extract helps give this gel (and your skin) a super-soft feel.

-*-

Just look at the ingredients, the texture, and I wish I can send you the aroma, it smells really good, any of them smells ultra delicious. The natural ingredients cleans the skin and hair too with the utmost lovely scent possible that lingers. And they never made my skin dry. So it's perfect for winter too.

-*-

One thing for sure, in terms of safekeeping, it is always best to keep them inside the tub so they stay as wobbly jelly as long as possible.

What more can  I say, I love them to the max!

Lush Jungle

Hello everyone,

this is a conditioner from Lush. And it's solid.

This is a first time for me trying a solid conditioner. I've tried their shampoo bar and I love it, body lotion bar and somewhat like it, solid face mask, solid face cleanser and solid massage (oil) and have tons of mixed feeling of using them but still able to use and enjoy each of them, seems like Lush has a mission to make everything in solid form.

Unlike the others, I'm not really a fan of their solid conditioner, at least not the one I've tried, Jungle.

-*-

A solid conditioner packed with tropical fruit, oils and cocoa butter to calm your mane. Made from a cocoa butter base, this is full of fresh figs, kumquats and passion fruits to add shine and hydrate hair. It's also naked and self-preserving. We mash fresh bananas and avocados into this base to condition the hair. Just stroke the bar directly down wet hair a few times; a little goes a long way.
  • Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter
  • Cetearyl Alcohol & Sodium Lauryl Sulfate
  • Propylene Glycol
  • Glyceryl Stearate & PEG-100 Stearate
  • Cetearyl Alcohol
  • Stearic Acid
  • Perfume
  • Soya Lecithin
  • Fresh Avocado
  • Fresh Figs
  • Fresh Organic Fair Trade Banana
  • Passion Fruit Juice
  • Fresh Kumquat
  • Behenyl Trimethylammonium Chloride
  • Ylang Ylang Oil
  • Vetivert Oil
  • Cypress Oil
  • Cedarwood Oil
  • Chlorophyllin
  • *Limonene
  • *Cinnamal

-*-

The product comes in a light green shade, very fragrant thanks to the ingredients and in a solid oval form. It was difficult to be used, I can't seem to be doing it right, it doesn't melt! It stays solid on my hands and on my hair, we can't hardly use it.

Shampoo bars bubbles up the minute it touches wet hair and hands, it shows how easy it is using the shampoo bar, I know that (most) conditioner doesn't lathers but it is like a lotion, but this one stays solid. And I hardly find any effect on my hair. Perhaps next time I try to melt it on a warmer temperature before using it on my washed hair, but it is such a bother.

Overall, perfect as a home fragrance....not really as a conditioner.

Lush Cosmetics Lipstick Bubbly Laugh Out Loud

Hello everyone,

this is a lipstick from Lush (fresh) cosmetics. It comes in a cute pipette like container with clear bottle that shows the shade.

After looking at their website and packaging, somehow I'm sure that the label is wrong, hmm, it doesn't look like Bubbly to me, more like Glamorous.

Well, anyway, I'm just going to review on the texture and feel on the skin, plus the power to stay and last.

-*-

Subtle and versatile - just like you
A fun, flirty pink that has a subtle shimmer. Wear it lightly for a more translucent look, or apply generously for a brighter color that reminds you to be cheerful and high spirited. The moisturizing jojoba oil and rose wax base ensure lips stay soft and smooth. Because this creamy lipstick is so versatile, many of us have been using it as a blush. Just dot a small amount on the cheeks and blend well. Bubbly; Laugh out loud.

-*-

Fresh ingredients

Mica , Organic Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia chinensis) , Candelilla Wax (Euphorbia cerifera) , Synthetic Fluorphlogopite , Rose Wax (Rosa damascena) , Titanium Dioxide , Red 28 , Red 36 , Iron Oxides . *Occurs naturally in essential oils

Follow the outline of your lip with the tip of the sponge, then fill in. For a more subtle colour, use less and blend well.
Prep your pout: Exfoliate your lips with a LUSH lip scrub before application for a flawless finish.
Against animal testing: Our Emotional Brilliance color is 100% vegan and never tested on animals.

Wear it any way you want: Apply generously or sparingly for a bold or soft look. Use as a lipstick and/or blush.

-*-

The color is ultimately pink and bright, i love how it sparks and made the whole look fresh and light at the same time.

The slightly frosted finish made it a perfect lipstick to be used just about anytime during the day or night. The shade is perfect for my skin tone or those with darker skin as well. It's like yin and yang.

Imagine an olive skin tone wearing a bright pink, the shade and her tone will compliment each other.

-*-

The texture is smooth and light. It may look a bit dry and not 'wet' like other lipstick but it is creamy. Easily buildable, pigmented and stay true to its tone from the one we look at the bottle and on the lips. The bright pink cover the lips beautifully and doesn't make the lips dry whatsoever.

Doesn't break off even after long hours on the lips and never bleed. It still transfer but colors doesn't wears off easily, it has a good staying power as well.

The product is not waterproof but has a does resist water.

Clean it with a makeup remover for the lips and it'll take off easily.

-*-

In bright or dimmed lights the lipstick brightness and color stays the same.

-*-

I got mine from Lush Hong Kong, and as usual all Lush Cosmetics products has a clear expired date and the name of the person making it.

The ingredients are written clearly and the natural ingredients made my lips safe from dryness.

Lush Seanik Shampoo Bar

Hello lovelies,

this is one of my favorite brand, it is Lush and the brand no longer available in Indonesia due to many (financial, budget, etc) issues. And nowadays there are many brands that are similar to Lush yet comes in better price for the customer and doesn't contain stuff that are still known to be inside some of Lush'es products.

-*-

I got mine from Hong Kong.

https://uk.lush.com

This solid seaweed, sea salt and lemon bar gives great shine and volume, with an uplifting summer scent for that buoyant feeling. We’ve added a combination of Irish moss gel (made from bushy red seaweed), with protein-rich Japanese nori seaweed and fine sea salt to give hair some oomph. Lemon oil makes your hair shine, and we’ve added the heady tropical scents of mimosa, jasmine and orange flower essential oils.
*occurs naturally in essential oils.

-*-

It has that typical amazing smell from Lush, almost all the Lush'es smells so good. This one is included. Smells fresh, fruity, a bit like an ocean breeze and very fragrant. Lather easily on wet hair and cleans the hair and scalp very nicely. Everyone in the family is using it and we love the effect of a clean scalp and hair that doesn't leave any residue, nor making them dry. It's perfect on it's own way.

I hate those silicone-full shampoos that made my scalp drench in oil, or those too drying shampoo that made my hair brittle and looks like electrocuted, this is perfect and again, Lush shampoo made my day.

Keep the bar dry after usage by putting it outside the bathroom so it doesn't get gooey and jelly-like.

Continue with your favorite conditioner according to your hair type.

Lush Kinky Hot Oil Treatment

Hello everyone,

I'm a big fan of Lush. I was one of the people who shed tiny tears when they are closing in Indonesia. It was a short fling, I met them abroad, jumping in joy when I see them here and when they have to leave, I continued being loyal and buy them every time I have the chance, like when I'm overseas.

Their scents is just amazing, passing by the store without stopping is impossible.

-*-

If you want enviously silky, hydrated curls, stick with us. Made with protective lanolin to strengthen natural curls, this restorative treatment delivers intense moisture without diminishing your bounce and volume. With uplifting ylang ylang and rosewood, its exotic fragrance will take your senses for a whirl too.
Place your treatment into a suitable container (we like to use an empty black pot) and pop the kettle on. We recommend taking this opportunity to prepare a nice cup of tea as well!
Slowly add a small amount of hot water to the solid treatment - and begin to stir gently. Take your time, adding water as needed, allowing the product to thicken slowly until you are left with an empty stick and a rich, creamy treatment (this can take around five minutes, just long enough for you to finish your tea!).
Apply to dry hair and leave for around 20 minutes before shampooing, to allow the ingredients to get to work, hydrating and replenishing your crowning glory.

List of ingredients
-*-

Yes, I read it correctly, and the staff also told me that it was made for curly hair, I don't care. I want a hot oil and that's it. This is the only one in the store. Curly or not, I'm pampering my hair. And I love the scent too, it's irresistible, what am I talking about, the whole store smell amazing.

-*-

The details on how to use it and bla bla bla already written above clearly as clear as the ones in the paper wrapping the lollipop product.

-*-

It looks like a lollipop, right?!

Pop it inside anything you want, add hot water little by little and it does take a while to melt, I use a fork to split it little by little so it'll melt faster.

-*-

Once it breaks and keep on breaking, I keep on stirring and stirring and stirring, it took me a good 5-10 minutes to become creamy and fluffy like a liquid spongy
marshmallow.

-*-

After keep on adding hot water and trying to make them melt just nice. I was finally done, or perhaps somewhat done.

It becomes creamy, silky and definitely usable since it has this spreadable texture compared to a hard solid one as before.

-*-

So I start applying the creams on the ends first and everywhere I can. It is enough for every part of my hair. But for those with longer and thicker hair may need more than one.

-*-

After spreading them as fast as I could in my cold room, perhaps due to the coldness of the temperature outside my room in a hotel in Hong Kong, it dries up pretty fast. My hair become stiff.

Before 20 minutes I rush into the shower and let warm water runs through every strand to help once again melts the dried creams on my hair.

Once the creams loosen, I massage the hair while keep the shower on. Gently, so I don't pull out any hair while getting them off.

-*-

And the hair feels soft, fragrant and bouncy, I don't exactly know how I can describe this than bouncy. It made my wavy hair feels springy and loose and comfortable at the same time. So soft to the touch, moisturized and appear so much healthier too.

-*-

I can't help but keep on touching them plus smelling them too, it smells so good, like coconut mixed with flowers and other delightful aroma. Definitely recommended for anyone with hair :D

Lush Solid Shampoo, New!.

Hello everyone,

LUSH is one of my utmost favorite brand due to all the natural ingredients and immense irresistible scents they have in their produce. Proud of their handmade creations, LUSH offers cosmetics that contain a bunch of natural ingredients.

Their shampoo bar is one of my choice due to the unique properties and well, it comes in a bar. I was born with liquid shampoo so when I try this shampoo in a solid condition, it attracts me.

Details from www.lush.co.uk:

A solid bar with cinnamon, clove and peppermint to stimulate your scalp. Cinnamon leaf, bay and clove bud essential oils combine with peppermint to boost blood flow, stimulating the hair follicles. An infusion of nettle and peppermint helps to stimulate the scalp and promote healthy hair. Rosemary soothes, calms your scalp and adds a glorious shine to your hair.

-*-

The shampoo comes in many variants and function. This is the cinnamon shampoo bar in a tin, the regular sales doesn't include the tin, so usually customer has to purchase the tin when buying the shampoo bar. What's the name of this shampoo? New!

Why is it called New! It is supposed to help you get 'new' hair, get it?! As in newly born hair.

-*-

This is not my first Lush shampoo bar and this is my second purchase of New! as a well. I've tried several shampoo bar from Lush and this is one of my favorite range. The smells is amazingly fresh in a invigorating way. Unique and for me, delightful. It help the scalp to wakes up, it cleans everything it touches. Scalp and each hair strand. The red color makes the lather reddish, I always lather the bar directly on to the wet hair, it does creates abundant foam instantly. The hair feels squeaky clean at first but soft afterwards. A bar usually last around 70-80 washes.

Even thou it contains a lot of natural ingredients:
Downside: It still contain SLS which can lead to several problems.

Karma Kream Hand and Body Lotion from Lush

Hello lovelies!!!

This is one of my favorite things, I'm using the solid perfume as well and the Karma Kream, which is the lotion version, is like the thing next to it. Hubby gets it during his business trip in Manila.

The smell is amazing, like the solid perfume itself but in a more rich formula possible for the hand and body skin. I love how it felt so rich yet on the skin becomes light and comfortable. No greasy effect or thickness in it.

Smooth it all over your body for a spicy, citrusy fragrance and skin-soothing kindness that will repay itself twofold. Hydrating almond oil blends with the finest fair trade cocoa butter to soften and balance dry skin while orange oil brightens your skin tone.

Features

  • Good Karma: Perfect for those who want to nourish dry skin and layer the orange, patchouli and lemongrass fragrance of Karma.
  • Light and lovely: The almond oil makes it lighter than some of our other body moisturizers and the signature Karma fragrance settles onto the skin for the rest of the day.
  • Soothing and calming: Lavendin oil is used in our Karma range, from soap to fragrance and hair care. It helps to soothe the skin and promote a calmer mood.
Of course one of the highlight is the scent, all of the people in my family loves using it as well. We all smell so good with Karma Kream. Suitable for my hubby cranky skin, my girl's sensitive skin and my slightly dry skin condition.

The skin become moist, supple and looks healthier too. The lotion is freshly made (like all Lush product) smells delicious and works really well. What can I say?! The only down side is the brand is not available in Indonesia.

Lush Bath Bomb Luxury Lush Pud

Hello lovelies,

this holiday is almost over, boo hoo, I'm hoping for another holiday soon ^__^

During the holiday, I like to pamper myself and have a wonderful time, taking long bath, wearing mask almost everyday, and having tea time.

The long bath will include hard to resist products such as Lush Bath Bomb.

-*-

(image from www.lush.co.uk)

One of them is Lush Pud.

It looks super duper cute. Hubby bought it during his business trip. He chooses the lavender since it was my favorite, lavender seems to be able to calm my nerves within every sniff.

-*-

Here it is, a ball that promise a 45 minutes of undeniable relaxing time. Why 45 minutes, I can't seem to pass that timing in the tub ^__-- I'm already wrinkling haha!

-*-

As seen in the images, the Lush Pud makes the water turn into purplish pink, the fizzing bomb is delightful to watch and even the scent itself has calm me down. Psst!! Over the past weeks of keeping the bomb in my bedroom has made the room smells good.

The water become so fragrant and everyone in it as well. The smell last all night long (as we are using it at the afternoon bath time). We? My daughter and me both enjoy bath time together with Lush Pud. The bath product does induce sleeping time as it is relaxing, smells lavender and calming all the aching muscles with the warm water.

The only matter in this case is the price, one bath bomb feels so expensive since it can only be used once.

Karma Gorilla Perfume at Lush

Hello everyone!!

I'm back with one of my favorite brand in the world, Lush ^_______^ Their store always smell amazing and so does everything inside.

I always love anything from them, so when my sister offer me her Karma Gorilla Perfuma (solid), I was thrilled heehee.

-*-

Details from lush.co.uk:
Main notes : Orange, patchouli, pine, lavendin, lemongrass, elemi, cassie.
Feels like : running through a field of flowers on your way to Woodstock

-*-

Imagine a delicious orange bubble gum you used to have when you're a kid made from Meiji, this is the smell there is add 1000x. So when sniff directly can be quite strong, but for an avid Karma lover, you'll fall in instantly.

-*-

A very sweet scent which linger around citrus compacted in a sticky solid perfume (oh here the downside) and the push up packaging also doesn't help in terms of making sure non are waste. The push up is a bit tricky and I often push more than I need and when push back in, the solid perfume become messy and the lid are 'affected' here and there.

-*-

Still, every time I manage to swipe them on the skin where I want to smell good the most (^0^) the solid melts with the heat from the skin and like loosen oils they make everything they touched smells so good.

The scent last as long as the perfume stays moist on the skin. In terms of being a solid perfume the packaging need improvement and so does the sticky texture.

Lush Bath Bomb (Sex Bomb) and Bubble Bars (A French Kiss)

Helloooo,
Lush is here, a fresh handmade cosmetics that believe in the natural goodness of mother earth without hurting any animals as the ingredients or as a tester.

I've been using Sex Bomb for years and reviewing it now. My friend Stephanie gave me these and finally got a chance to take pictures before plunging in. One of them is actually my favorite ballistic for the wonderful lovely scent.

Details from lush.co.uk:
Grab one of these for a wonderful sensual bath Grabbing a pair is even better!
This ballistic is packed full of every sensual, relaxing oil we could find. Clary sage, jasmine and ylang ylang, blended into a classic musk base. We then packed it full of soya milk, so you can step out of the bath feeling like Cleopatra.

The Bubble Bars also very good, you can toss any toiletries with lavender and I'll definitely be a fan.

A French Kiss from lushsg.com:

Perfumes from Provence: inspiration from a Parisian patisserie. A French Kiss gives you a relaxed but alert feeling that lasts all day. We're talking about our Bubble Bar, so keep your minds clean! The Lush French Kiss is a calming and reviving lavender, rosemary and thyme bath, with essential oils from sun-soaked Provence. It's even topped with a sprig of lavender flowers. Relax in its purple waters and soak up all its benefits.

Which is which?

The Sex Bomb Bath Bomb is the one looks like a ball with rose tucked in there happily. The Bubble Bars A french Kiss is shaped like Hersey's Chocolate Kisses, but in pink. Is it supposed to be purple? Mine is pink but still in the smell of a wonderful Lavender.

In appearance, the Sex Bomb doesn't create bubbles, only the Bubble Bars does that and A French Kiss is a bubble bars. The Sex Bomb turn the water into pinkish hue with the floral aroma. Both gives a unique bath experience, turning an ordinary bath time for a special moment, either alone or with your special one (if your tub is enough for more than one).

Here's a video of A French Kiss being diluted into the water:

As seen, mine doesn't turn the water into purple, pink, or any color. Just plain .... clear.

Overall, both of the products is wonderful for creating that ambiance especially when your so tired and want to be pampered in the simplest way possible.

Use it accordingly and don't forget to rinse after soaking, moisturize your skin after a long bath as especially warm baths tends to gives skin a drying effect.

Special thanks to
Ascott Raffles Place Singapore
for the beautiful bathroom where this video and pictures were made.

Lush BIG Shampoo

First of all, so sorry for the mini images, they are not mine, I got them from Google Search. The thing is Lush has been discontinued in Indonesia, and the last time I use Lush is actually last year when I went to Japan and get some. But I didn't buy BIG the last time.

I used BIG back in 2000 and really love the products. It gives volume, incredible shine and love to my hair and scalp. I feel like my hair (and the whole head in fact) at it's best during BIG days.

Here is some details from lushusa.com:

Sea Salt

Sea Salt
Cleansing the skin with soaps containing salt is an excellent way to benefit from this mineral content. The formula de-greases the skin, removing dead skin cells and dirt. It does this without stripping too much natural oil and leaves the skin soft and co
It is softening for the skin and hydrates it.
Salt is full of minerals. Minerals maintain the water balance essential for healthy life processes. They stabilize the pH levels of the blood and lymphatic system stable. Minerals neutralize wastes and prepare them for elimination.
Salt is part of our palm-free soap base. Manufacturers of soap are required by legislation to declare the ingredients of their product, which we illustrate as part of our list.
Salt is stimulating and cleansing.
Sodium chloride can be found in our range of soaps from Bohemian to Honey I Washed the Kids, 13 Soap Unlucky For Dirt and Noubar.
Sodium Chloride is simply salt.

Yes, the main ingredient is actually sea salt. Added citrus for shine and super fresh scents that I really love. I'm glad that now Lush back in Singapore, so it's not far from Indonesia, but I'm still getting my next stock from Tokyo since there will be a trip there.

I also fond of the unique texture which is sticky sea salts, like small rocks but the minute it touches the water they dissolve (hellooo it's salt), but I don't really know what it did to my hair, but I love the super clean feeling and refreshed the whole scalp yet, my hair ain't suffering the dry effect. They are also singing happily with the shine, volume, and moisture.

BIG is so suitable for us living in tropical land where's humid bring hair flat and limp. For me, you haven't experience life until you met BIG.

LUSH Solid Shampoo

Nothing beats this wonderful solid shampoo from LUSH. They are made fresh and they do have expired date. The best thing about them is they are solid! Perfect for traveling and even when I'm not, I'm still so happy to be able to use them daily. Each bar can last up to 80 wash, there's a lot isn't it :)

I bought so many of them and these are few I can remember. The white one is Ultimate Shine, the purple one is Jumping Juniper, the red one is they new edition which I bought in Shibuya is a New Shampoo Bar made from cinnamon to help stimulate the scalp, and the yellow one is Godiva which made with Jasmine and the smell is just so wonderful it made my whole room smell so gorgeous.

For each ingredients you can go to their website and read all about them and be mesmerized.

Each of them have their own 'specialty like Jumping Juniper is for oily hair, Godiva is a 2-1 shampoo and conditioner in 1, you already know about the cinnamon bar and the ultimate shine is for.....ultimate shine.

Each of them clean your hair really really clean and not like other product it doesn't leave unwanted residue in each strand or scalp. Some of the smell doesn't last long except for Godiva and I wish it stay longer than it already is. '

How to use it: wet your hair thoroughly and start rubbing it to your wet hair, you can also make foam with your hand just like a soap bar, then put the foam to your hair until you get the desired amount of shampoo in your hair. Massage gently like usual then rinse. I do recommend a conditioner after using these shampoo bars even after Godiva.

How to keep it: Better in somewhere dry and not humid and wet. I keep this one once in my shower and turn soft and it didn't last up to 80 wash. Better buy their tin for keeping them safe and sound.
