Saat dipakai di kulit produknya itu nyamaaannnn bangett. Gak ada rasa bedak berlebih atau seperti foundie yang tebel dan cakey, tapi ini mirip lotion yang lembut dan nyaman kaya kulit aku masih bisa bernafas dengan lancarnya dan dipakai seharian dan aktivitas malam juga enak, kaya kulit stays moist dan sehat.

Jujur agak berasa sangat amazed dengan konsep One Night Cushion karena aku gak berasa pakai base makeup tapi kulitku terlihat ya seperti pakai base yang sangat bagus dimana masalah seperti pori-pori besar, kemerahan, kerutan halus, pigmentasi, semua hilang dan terlihat amat sangat mulus hehe.

Shine dan glow finish nya tuh pas, bukan kaya keringetan atau greasy tapi demi glow yang cantik seperti fresh makeup all day long. Kalau kamu mau pakai saat pagi/siang hari, jangan lupa gunakan dulu sun protection karena produk ini sepengetahuan aku tidak mengandung any sun protection.

Saat dipakai, produknya beraroma alami atau sangat lembut seperti skincare. Mungkin ini juga salah satu alasan aku suka banget cushion ini, produk dengan parfum berlebih sangat tidak cocok untuk wajah hehe terutama wewangian sintetik untuk kulit sensitif.

Harga cushion ini sekitar Rp. 300-400 ribuan, yes I know, it is not cheap tapi kualitas cushion ini amat sangat bagus dan premium, that's why I'm really recommending the product to anyone who have sensitive and dry skin, bahkan kamu yang bermasalah dengan jerawat dan mudah iritasi untuk menggunakan cushion ini saja.

One more thing about HiCharis, semua details yang disediakan dalam bahasa Inggris dan amat sangat detail, sampai research dan data yang amat sangat mendetail disediakan sehingga kita bisa tau semua tentang produk tersebut.

Lengkap sekali kan informasinya, dari ingredients, kemampuan coverage atau menutup kekurangan pada kulit, tes iritasi pada kulit, bahan-bahan yang lolos uji EWG dan dapat label green (aman atau low hazard), bahan dasarnya yang ada air laut yang lebih sehat 10x dari air yang dimurnikan, kemampuannya menenangkan kulit, bahkan puff yang pun dibahas, dari bentuk dan bahannya yang anti bakteri.

Kita juga gak mau kan pakai produk yang ternyata malah tempat bersarangnya bakteri, ih geli banget, jadi sumber masalah baru untuk kulit, jadi Nake Up Face One Night Cushion ini bikin puff dengan bentuk tear drop sehingga bisa mengaplikasi lebih baik (menjangkau area yang lebih kecil), mudah mengambil produk dari cushion dan sebagai alat yang tepat untuk pemakaian, layering dan blending, plus 99.9% anti bacterial. Puff nya juga mudah dibersihkan, jadi kalau kamu mau, setiap seminggu sekali, bersihkanlah puff nya dengan makeup sponge detergent dan keringkan dengan seksama untuk hasil kulit lebih sehat dan aman dari bakteri.

Saat membuka produknya ada lapisan yang menutup cushion, peel atau tarik buka bagian tersebut sebelum menggunakan dan didalamnya ada cushion dengan print NAKE UP FACE. Semua puff dan produknya dalam keadaan bersih dan seal yang tadi di peel juga sangat kuat menempel (jauh lebih kuat dari seal lain untuk produk cushion merk lain yang pernah aku coba sebelumnya). Jadi pastinya segelnya mantep banget ya.

Dari kemasan luar dan dalam produknya terlihat luxurious dan terbuat dari bahan yang baik, agak berat dan tidak murahan. Kacanya juga dilapisi dengan plastik, jadi dibuka dulu untuk menampilkan mirror yang sangat jernih dan besar. Warnanya yang rpse gold ini sangat cantik, aku juga suka semua detail sparkles yang di tutup kemasan. Well I guess everything about this product is lovable, inside out.

As mentioned diatas, aku menggunakan shade yang nomor 2 dan di aku yang memang kulitnya fair produk ini masih terlihat fair juga, jadi apalagi yang nomor 1 ya hehe, mungkin lebih cerah lagi. I honestly hope they make more shades, mungkin sampai olive skin tone agar lebih banyak orang yang bisa menikmati a really good cushion like this.

Lakme Classics Reinvent Brightening Foundation, Compact Powder, and Eyebrow Pencil

this time I'm back with makeup from Lakme Classic Reinvent brightening foundation, compact powder, and eyebrow pencils. A set makeup that recently been shared by Lakme Cosmetics. Now, this one is actually a range that was more affordable alias murah sis. Foundienya aja Rp.79k dan pencil alisnya Rp.49k, so they are realllyy budget friendly.

But still, even thou' they are in the budget friendly zone, they are still good and for me? Effective in so many ways possible.

I couldn't really find details about them on the web.But Lakme gladly handed me some of the product information needed and I'm going to pass some to you.

First, let's start with Skin Brightening Foundation yang waterbased, jadi clearly, jauh lebih ringan daripada yang oil based ya. Meski terasa ringan dan melembabkan, jangan salah, coverage-nya buildable, pemakaian 2-3 kali udah nutup banget semua yang perlu di"hilangkan". Ada kandungan niacinamide, nah inilah bahan yang bantu memcerahkan kulit.

Foundationnya ada 4 shades yaitu Fair, Light, Medium dan Deep yang menurut aku ini udah cukup banget pas buat kulit orang Indonesia or perhaps Asian too. Karena perbedaan 1 shade ke yang lainnya cukup lumayan, dibawah adalah foto swatch compact powder dan foundation shade Fair dan Light.

Paling terang adalah Fair, 2 swatch pertama dari kiri adalah powder dan foundie Fair, dan dua dari kanan adalah foundie dan compact Light. Keliatan banget kan bedanya, jadi jangan salah, meski gak tersedia dalam 40 shades yang bedanya tipis-tipis, ini bisa di mixed antara 4 (fair, Light, Medium, Deep) untuk adjust ke warna sesuai dengan yang kamu inginkan.

Meski memang mungkin buat yang kulitnya super gelap, shade nya belum mumpuni, jadi buat saudara kita yang dari Papua contohnya, mungkin harus cari brand lain. Semoga someday shade Lakme lebih banyak ya.

Finishnya efek natural matte, yang aku sih merasa cocok, karena pas buat sehari-hari, gak matte kering, gak dewy gossy juga yang  kadang kalau dipakai outdoor jadi kayak super shiny. Tapi foundienya bisa di blend dengan produk lain until I get the right finish that I want. If I want it to be super matte, just add matte powder in finishing and if I want a dewy complexion, I can focus on glowing base as well.

Cleaning the product after use and like on all of other makeup, simply use a makeup remover all over.

Now, let's continue with the next item, the compact.

Compact powder rasanya masih cukup heits ya buat dipakai sehari-hari, dengan wet sponge atau dry brush, untuk mendapatkan hasil yang berbeda. Mengandung vitamin B3 and skin brightening pearl.

Shade nya sama dengan foundie, ada 4 dan namanya juga sama, Fair, Light, Medium dan Deep. Deep bisa dipakai untuk contour dan eyeshadow, seperti semua makeup ya, apa yang bisa dipakai di bagian muka ya bisa buat semuka hehe. Seperti lipstik bisa buat cheek cream, eyeshadow yang bisa buat shading, dsb.

Mari kembali ke compact powder yang kacanya cukup buat aku sumringah karena the size itself is big and satisfying. Puff nya sih standart dan bisa diganti dengan tools favorit, which for me, powder brush. Coveragenya juga buildable, jadi setelah pakai foundie lalu ditambah dengan compact powder ini bisa maksimal menutup segala permasalahan di kulit, nah soal harga? Rp 69k saja. Bayangkan budget friendly banget kan.

Buat aku pribadi, foundie dan powdernya pas buat dipakai sehari-hari tanpa bikin kantong jebol, dan perasaan saat menggunakan kedua produk ini juga cukup nyamanm bahkan agak-agak kaya tidak berasa pakai apapun, karena memang lightweight. Mungkin karena foundie yang water based tadi cukup berperan dibanding yang thick creamy apalagi oily texture.

Dengan alasan ringan in pulalah, mereka saat dipakai berbarengan lebih awet di kulit. Engga terasa pakai. And one more thing, the powder contain SPF 20 which is light I know, tapi lumayan buat nambah-nambahin SPF di kulit daripada engga ada.

Sekarang, mari kita mengupas eyebrow pencils nya yang ada pilihan brown dan black. Pada foto diatas, I'm using their brown shade which already seems deep enough for me, still, I like the black one too since it add a different dimension on me. Jadi paling pakainya sesuai mood/ look yang diinginkan.

Produk seharga Rp. 40k ini, paraben dan oil free. Mengandung Vit E, mudah digunakan dan mudah diblend. Meski pensilnya kelihatan kering, di alis tetep super nyaman dan nempel banget di alis. Jadi pas pakai, pelan-pelan aja ya, jangan terlalu diteken biar gak bold sangat.

1 hal yang aku suka meski mereka gak waterproof, tapi staying powernya dapet dan smudge resistant. Jangan digosok-gosok juga, pasti ada pengaruhnya. Bersihkan dengan makeup remover sih gampang ya, sekali swipe juga hilang (oil base makeup remover), yang artinya, kalau kamu super oily dan gampang banget keringetan, tambahkan sedikit mattefying powder di alis, biar pensilnya lebih awet stay disana.

Tidak dilengkapi dengan serutan dan brush ya, jadi silahkan pakai serutan dan brush eyebrow lain hehe.

Jujur ini pensil alis yang cukup murah tapi very good. I really love it apalagi pas diserut gak gampang patah atau lumer, jadi gak ngotorin serutan juga kaya yang model crayon bleber gitu. Pas diserut sampe runcing, bisa bikin garis-garis super halus kaya baru habis sulam alis, sukaaaa banget!

Meski harganya budget friendly (banget) bukan berarti produk murahan yaaa, so far kulit aku gak ada iritasi atau masalah selama pemakaian, dan jangan lupa hukum yang berlaku untuk semua makeup, dibersihkan dengan seksama dan jangan dibawa tidur. Lalu kalau bergadang boleh? Yah jangan lah ya, setelah sekitar 8 jam cukup lah, dibersihkan saja kulitnya dan kalau butuh makeup lagi dibersihkan dulu, diberi skincare dulu, baru makeupan lagi.

Semua detail cukup ada di kemasannya, jadi silahkan dibaca di bagian box sebelum dibuang hehe.

Catrice Prime And Fine Make Up Transformer Drops Lightening and Darkening

look at these irresistible beauty products from Catrice, oh yes they sent me these bunch of amazing cosmetics that not just pretty to look at but works like a charm. Many makeup artists has been using Catrice since they work well, even to deep olive tone their pigment stands true, so even thou' Catrice is famous for affordable prices, they are still highly commendable.

Since it is quite a lot, let's review the base, it's called Prime and Fine Make Up Transformer Drops that I happily have the Lightening and Darkening. The products can be used with any other foundations I have and really helps me a lot. I have foundies that are given to me by brands, sometime they get it right, most of the time, they didn't. Either it is too dark or too bright, now I just adjust the tone using this magical babies, so if you don't want to toss wrong shades foundies away, just get this baby, either the lightening or darkening to your preference.

I can happily use them as a contouring kit too.

Individual Transformation. On the image above, I'm using it as a lightener to my too-dark-foundie, and it helps me really well. Just mixed the formula before applying on the skin. And below, I can use them alone, without my old foundation and they are a perfect harmony too on my skin. It is light, easy to be blend, applied on the skin and sets. I can happily use them anytime and it works like a primer too.

And you know what, they also have a waterproof drops to be added to any foundation and make it into waterproof makeup. Perhaps can be used for powder makeup too like eyeshadows, wow, that would be neat.

They also have a hydrating drops, perhaps it will give a much more dewy finish look that was on trend at the moment. I hope one day I can try all their drops, they look fun. And even thou' they came in the shape of tube and the drops are not by a pipette.

I can easily create a white bridal look or deep tan using these babies, simply playing with the tones as pleased. The texture is just right, as seen on the image above, they may look shiny at first but on the skin it's just will be a semi dewy natural gloss.

And I can clearly see why makeup artitsts are head over heels over these budget friendly brand, since even thou' they are really affordable, they works like a charm, not just the Prime and Fine Make Up Transformer Drops Lightening and Darkening but their highlight set, powders, eyeshadow, bronzer, and many more. Thanks to Beauty Journal, I was invited to an irresistible event with HOLIKA HOLIKA Indonesia with Peko. Yes, that exact same sweet Peko made by Fujiya san himself. Peko that we know related to candies and where we grew up looking at her and already imagine all those deliciousness of the milky flavor.

Looking at the invitation itself I'm already super excited and happy, like I've visited Peko restaurant in Japan and I love everything related to her, the candies, tidbits and accessories are super cute, now, a cosmetic like with Peko, it's like an irresistible collectibles.

After a bit of introduction from representative from Beauty Journal and HOLIKA HOLIKA Indonesia, which sorry to say, I'm trying my best listening to them since, everything on the table in front of me are so adorable, I can't help to keep looking at them. Here is one of the product that I like, it's a blusher and look how cute Peko is, and the tin are collectibles for sure.

Looking at them I thought my kids would definitely mistook these babies as candies or sweets, and I was right, when I brought the goodies bag home, the girls are exuberant, they thought it was for them, so I gave them what I can... the packaging only heehee, since it is after all makeup for teens and above.

After all the fun of unboxing, it's time to make a flower sweets bouquets with HOLIKA HOLIKA x Peko. It was an activity enjoyed by all who loves desserts heehee. We can choose the colors of the wrapper, placed the candies and ribbon it up for those kids at home, and this is an actual gifts for my girls, they are so happy with the bouquet.

The product comes in 7 shades and this is not the fairest of them all, extra light is. So there's 5 more shades darker than mine.

The container all in all similar to any cushion, with the cushion, puff, and the product in a soft squishy sponge. One dab is enough for my entire face. Maybe since it's still new but I think they do give more.

A luxurious brand of MAC is entitled on the handle ribbon.

Enough about packaging and container goo goo ga ga, we want to see the product in action, so, let's start by looking at my bare nude skin.

Uneven skin tone, spots and there's even one annoying acne on the chin.

Some redness also visible as well.

Below is after using the cushion compact without any concealer or color corrector.

The skin appear instantly brighter, smoother, more flawless and the tone is even out. Major dark spots are hidden and that brightening look achieved easily.

The product blends and sticks on the skin easily, I enjoy using it as the product feels comfortable and thin on the skin, like I'm using none.

After the cushion I'm adding some contour, powder and colors. Since the base itself already really good in making and keeping the canvas looking 'clean' and effortless, I have no problem throughout the day.

Very minimum touch up is used, even after a bit of studio drama and getting sweat like having a Brazilian wax (you know how that feel), the makeup still comfortably there and looking as fresh as ever. The staying power is amazing.

these are babies from Lakme, it's their 9to5 series where it said to give a long lasting makeup experience that last on the whole active day, considerately 9to5 as working hours, it is simply a clever way saying this makeup will stays put.

These are the texture of the products and see how the lip and cheek when blended onto the skin, it will create a lovely gradation. Mine was in Fuchsia and the mousse foundation is in Rose Honey and it's kinda too dark for me. The tone is a bit reddish and warm, perfect for Indonesian skin too since the base is beautiful. It made the skin appear more colorful and not pale.

I'm using the Rose Honey as a contouring and it has the ability to blend effortlessly into this powdery finish that gives the skin a smooth coverage without being cakey. The Lip & Cheek Cream is dewy, rich in color and does last. It has a bit of staining effect but that's not the reason why they stick, they just build with ingredients that last, they are still easily cleaned with a good makeup remover.

Conclusion,

a good daily makeup that has been proven as well by many beauty bloggers in Indonesia that it works, they do last the whole day thanks to it's weightless and powdery formula. The Lip and Cheek Cream provide hue to intense color which I love since it's easy to blend in an adequate setting time. Not too fast which is for my liking and does stays on the cheeks. I usually use my beauty blender or blending brush. The tone sets after a few minutes and remain cheerful.

Packaging wise, I think their rose gold hue is the prettiest of them all heehee.

Lakmé Absolute Argan Oil Serum Foundation

Lakme Absolute have another foundation to share with you and this one is Argan Oil Serum Foundation with SPF 45, and mine happen to be in Rose Silk (02).

The product comes in a pipette kind of container, like the ones that we see a lot on youtuber, where they drip drip drip the foundation on to their skin before blending it. It looks encouraging, right?! I do make one myself on my instagram (@Carnellin), do check it out.

Step 1: Shake up your bottle of foundation; this ensures the serum and colour tint are fully mixed.

Step 2: Use the dropper (which is inside the bottle) to apply the foundation onto your makeup brush.

Step 3: Stick to a drop or two if you want a sheer look and apply it all over your face including your neck.Step 4: For fuller coverage, build up the intensity slowly until you get your desired look.

Look how the foundation unifies the skin tone into an even and flawless look. The coverage is definitely there and the scent is definitely perfumed since it's obvious. And it will linger for a while. The product is slightly rich and feels a bit thick but on the skin it will turn into velvety and then powdery like, so it's pretty comfortable with the right amount of coverage for the skin. Large pores, fine lines, to faint imperfection are easily disappear.

For deep marks, layered up the foundation and perhaps add a bit of concealer too for a maximum effect.

Top it off with a dash of finishing powder to set the base or perhaps after colors. The makeup usually last around whole day when inside a controlled room like cool and dry, but for sure, ones skin condition and activity also helps determining the longevity. Bring along a dusting powder or loose powder to freshen up the look and help it stays longer.

For those (perhaps like me) who like to mix colors, it is possible, it helps me to get that exact shade that I want. Highlight and contour also possible using a lighter shade and darker shade on the areas I prefer.

The product is easily mixed and the setting time is good, it's not super slow nor super fast, I say it's around 3-5 minutes, so we do have time to blend.

L'Oreal Paris Infallible Total Cover Foundation

Hello everyone,

last but not least, one last product of L'Oreal Paris Infallible collection that I'll share in my blog from Sociolla and L'Oreal Paris Indonesia. This is their foundation that have the 'strongest' coverage, as in maximum. Since the tone is really too dark for my skin tone, I'm using it as a contouring and they works well since it's easy to blend it on the skin.

Above is me using the Pro Matte shade 101 and the Total Cover Infallible Foundation in 308. Even thou they are different in texture, they still works pretty well together.

Above are the texture of Pro Matte, Pro Glow and Total Cover Foundation altogether when they are fresh from the tube. They look pretty similar right?! Like the Pro Matte and Pro Glow, just the Total Cover appear different right from the start, they seems creamy and thick, don't be fooled the ability to cover and the feeling when used is totally different. We would expect something so rich to be heavy right?! It's not, look at the comparisons of the three products below.

Clearly seen the differences of using each product as in finish and coverage ability (do ignore the shades), Pro Matte is really matte, soft and like powdery, I love the fresh clean feeling that last super long. The Pro Glow gives my dry skin a comfortable feeling thanks to the flexible texture. The skin appear to have a radiant glow, like it's not taut and dry anymore. While Total Cover Foundation gives the skin a natural finish with high coverage. The texture may appear thick and dense, but it's pretty airy and comfortable to be used too.

So there's you go, all three formula, all three finish and texture and ability to gives the skin what it want and what you need.
