3CE Highlight Beam

Hello lovelies!!

This is 3 Concept Eyes Highlight Beam.

-*-

Ohh yeah!! The new trend has arrived, it is strobing, nowadays it is no longer about contouring, highlights are the new 'it' makeup. Korean has started this trend since a year ago, with glossy and super smooth skin, the watery to dewy effect and added highlights on certain areas such as nose bridge, forehead and upper cheeks plus a little dab on the upper mid side of the lips.

-*-

3CE as one of the top brand in Korea being the lead if this particular makeup look. Actress and famous celebrities are using their product in the movies and on set.

-*-

The details is written on the packaging and at their official website.

Please do click on any image for larger view.

-*-

There are several similar items at their shops for highlights, we can choose from golden to pearly and pink like mine.

Some for the face only, and Highlight Beam is for Face and Body.

-*-

Inside the box is the pump bottle. The product comes in two sizes, 30 and 50 ml. Mine is 50 ml.

-*-

The details written here is in Korean, perhaps since mine is from Hong Kong, so on the box there are details written in English, still, fret not, their website provide all the necessary details.

-*-

Below is the product used on my sister's skin.

-*-

Half face to complete full face using the product, the result is visible and obvious, it helps brighten up the look too. It's glowing but not in an oily kind of glow.

Highlight Beam can be used alone or as it is, or mixed with the foundation in 1:1 portion.

And you can use it as a highlighter too and not on the whole face. The product is perfect for an evening makeup.

-*-

Beside Highlight Beam, I also have their Pore Balm (click HERE) they can be used side by side, the Pore Balm help diminishing the pores for a smoother look and the Highlight Beam add a bit of that perfect radiant to the skin. On the image above I only add the Highlight Beam on the upper cheek.

On the image below, I add the Highlight Beam on the upper cheeks, nose bridge and a bit on the forehead. Look how natural the finish are and my skin looks great too.

-*-

Highlight Beam can be used before foundation for a subtle look, mixed with the foundation for an overall glow, or after foundation on certain areas (as mentioned above) for that radiant glow. Dust a bit of loose powder afterwards and I always choose the translucent one so it doesn't hide my glow.

-*-

The product stays on the skin as long as my makeup and I love how it made my skin looks gorgeous, definitely addicted!!

3 Concept Eyes Pore Silky Balm

Hello lovelies!!

This is Pore Silky Balm by 3 Concept Eyes or known as 3CE.

-*-

Click on any image for larger view.

-*-

So basically, the product itself is a base to be used before applying makeup. The base that provide a smoother finish for the makeup by covering large pores, so there's minimal 'bumps' or 'holes' need to be covered. The result should be a unified skin with minimal pores appearance and visible on the surface.

-*-

Pore Silky Balm comes in a black rounded container with spatula and sponge provided. The balm is a white soft-velvety like and yes, silicone is involved. But usually with other brand, this kind of product suitable to be used only as a base before liquid makeup, Pore Silky Balm by 3 Concept Eyes are made for before and after makeup application, as in for touch ups.

-*-

This is the products and like said on the instruction, used the product little by little and I find the rubbery sponge to be much helpful.

-*-

The result is a smoother skin, minimal pores and reduce the redness as well. The skin feels powdery soft and applying makeup right after also become easier and less hassle. I can use liquid or powder foundation afterwards, it really doesn't matter, no noodling found here.

And they hide fine lines too ^__^

-*-
The product alone is perfect for a non makeup makeup look. Apply the Pore Silky Balm, followed by powder or a light liquid foundation, then loose powder. For a maximum coverage, apply the Pore Silky Balm, followed by liquid foundation or cream foundation, concealer, loose powder and then compact powder. You may decrease the products used by deciding on the coverage and your skin condition. Just remember to use skincare before the Pore Silky Balm and let the skincare sips for 15 minutes as well.

-*-

For me this is another great product from 3 Concept Eyes that gives result, but I think the price itself could be lower, there are other brands that offer similar result but comes with friendlier cost.

3 Concept Eyes Natural Finish Loose Powder

Hello lovelies,

this is 3CE Natural Finish Loose Powder in #001.

Loose powder is probably the number one must have item in the beauty world. Whether people like cosmetics or not, seems like they are still using powder and loose powder is like a key item.

What's make a loose powder good or at least functional? It is usually used as a finishing touch for that softer and a more fine looking skin. It absorb oils, unwanted hydration on the skin for a matter finish or a long lasting makeup look in the end.

During touch up, we can rely on loose powder to freshen up as well.

Loose powder used as a last item also because of the powdery formula, so we always apply the wets one first and all the way until it is completed the look, then a loose powder to seal the base.

-*-

3CE Natural Finish Loose Powder is not different, it made to be used as described above. Like usual, their product comes in a black box (and bright pink interior). Simple and sufficient.

-*-

The box comes in a square form and the container is a round tub. Like most of loose powder container, inside there's a puff provided.

-*-

The product only comes in 2 tones, natural in #002 and fair in #001

-*-

All the details are in Korean, hence the website is very useful for more details:  http://en.stylenanda.com

-*-

The product still contains paraben T___T

-*-

They also provided an up close look on the powder.

-*-

As seen, it is a fine powder that promote a wonderful coverage with its dusting particles. I found them to be suitable for those with any skin's condition as it gives a natural finish.

-*-

Above is my before after look.

As seen, the powder helps the skin to looks finer, like I own a soft glow looking skin. It works with any foundation I used and offer a gentle flawless even out skin tone.

The puff itself is in good quality but a big powder brush gives a better result for a finer result, like an airy powdery application for a sprinkle of loose powder.

-*-

The loose powder also last half a day (like 5-6 hours) and I still doesn't need any touch up until it passes 8 hours. Well, the foundation used beneath also determine whether your base will last or not, still, this Natural Finish Loose Powder helps me heaps. I can use it alone for that effortless no makeup look, with a BB Cream for daily activity, with a CC Cream for a better complexion and so on.

This loose powder also helps seals the concealer.

-*-

Use it thinly for an airy finish and thicker for a more matte looking skin yet still natural. The only two shades is a sign that they are making these as a more translucent than covering.

-*-

One more thing, once opened, don't throw away the sticker as it kept them well and fresh.

3CE Glossing Waterful Foundation

Hello lovelies,

this is 3CE Glossing Waterful Foundation, and mine is in Natural Ivory.

-*-

This brand is famous almost all around the world. From Korea, packed with attitude and looks gorgeous. It may look simple with the black packaging, the 3CE logo looks like handwritten and seems like an everyday products not for those special occasions. But it is actually one of the most renowned brand that has class and quality, and it is not cheap too.

I know their products from watching a Korean entertainment show at KBS World, one of the celebrity is using this brand and her skin looks so good, it made her skin looks waterful and flawless at the same time.

-*-

Here are some of the details from their official website

http://en.stylenanda.com
Let me warn you, the minute you browse into their website, you'll crave for their products for sure!

-*-

With only SPF 15 PA+, it is a definite sign that I'm not looking for it's sun protection ability.

-*-

Their finish is more like natural, so it is only available in 4 shades, two for cool tone and the other two is for the warm tone. If you're not sure, you can opt for the beige. For sign of cool tone, you have blue vein, and warm tone means you have green vein at your wrist.

-*-

Their blogger friendly website also provide a swatch along with the model's using the product.

-*-

The tips from the brand to get that perfect glowing effect. But since I don't want to go to far, knowing that this is not the current trend in Indonesia, where the hot and humid weather already take its toll making sure we're glowing alright, I'm only using the foundation alone...with some loose powder for sure.

-*-

And I'm a big fan of its high moisture properties too.

How do I use it?

After prepping the skin using skincare on a cleaned skin, a prime that promote moist skin and that's it, it's Glossing Waterful Foundation turn.

-*-

As seen, the container has pipette on top of it, after shaking furiously, I apply some on my fingers, I also made some experiment by using sponge and brushes too, to know whether it made a difference or not. It does.

When I'm using fingers, I can feel the texture of the product, it is so moist but not greasy, it's like a goo but finer. When applied on the skin, it felt comfortable and I don't experience any discomfort. With fingers, of course I'm using less than when using brush, moreover sponge which always absorb product the most.

I find Real Technique foundation brush to be the best of all these three, it helps blending so much easier and doesn't take products as sponge does and it kept the fingers clean too. Fingers has the most moist effect, brush also get that glow effect and sponge take away the moist effect the most as well.

Bottom line, avoid sponge, when brushes is not around, use fingers instead.

-*-

As mentioned by the brand, the product does not covers all imperfection, in facts they are more to the natural, but I find them pretty good. The coverage is medium with that wonderful glow that react to camera, like it loves being under the spotlight and as seen, there's no greasy like finish.

So perhaps, the model on their website is using all step 1,2,3, using face oil and glowing cream before the foundation for that immense glow.

-*-

And for me, I'm happy with just step 3 ^__^

It suits me well.

-*-

I get the glow, the natural finish, and by adding loose powder, I add the longevity of the makeup base as well. Below is me after using Glossing Waterful Foundation and their loose powder too, for 5 hours.

As seen it hasn't melt, and the glow is still as fresh as when I first applied the foundation.

-*-

Overall,

this is a great product that offer lightness and airy makeup base that offers glow, radiant like a fully hydrated skin without looking oily or affected by grease whatsoever.

Very convenient and easy to be used, provide medium coverage, but can be added by applying concealer before and after the product. Best to be used with a good foundation brush in a downward movement (contrary to using skincare with an uplifting movement).

-*-

We can adjust the level of 'watery' effect by applying the loose powder lightly, on certain areas only or using the puff.

-*-

Above is me using the Glossing Waterful Foundation and then add some loose powder using a big rounded powder brush with a light and gentle touch for that looks-like-I'm-not-using-loose-powder effect. And below is me using the same foundation but when applying the loose powder, I'm using a powder puff, so the loose powder is sticking more to the skin than with large powder brush.

The effect is a more matte looking skin. It doesn't cover the watery radiance, it just appear less.

-*-

Anyway you're using it just be careful as it is promote waterful gloss. If you are already have an oily skin, adding a face oil and glowing cream wont be a good idea. Play around and took pictures when using the product with powder, on some areas or all over, so you get many effects and by experimenting, you'll get that perfect glow that you truly want.

Last but not least, the ingredients:

Thank you.
