Make Up For Ever Artist Acrylip Lip Paint

a fresh and uplifting shade like orange become a hype thanks to the Korean trend. Not because western cosmetic doesn't carry an orange shade but somehow, it is the Korean than brings in the flavor as 'new'.

Perhaps since the tone suits Asian skin, the trend made it possible. Still, as one of the most complete makeup brand worldwide, Make Up For Ever, for sure, have orange tone from slightly orange, like reddish orange, pinkish orange to fully orange like this one.

The product is in a tube container which reminds me of acrylic paints, it has a similar name as in Acrylip since the finishing appears to be like acrylic. Glossy, shiny and leathery.

When it was first opened, the cushion applicator is white and clean. Simply squeeze the tube gently until the cushion started to 'bleed' the product inside. It looks so gorgeous when the liquid start pouring out and made the white cushion turns orange.

It is ready to be used. The cushion is soft and very easy to be used, dispensing the color on the lips. The product is like a creamy gel that does appear similar like an acrylic paint. Glossy, leathery and silky smooth.

The product is like said on the details, it can provide a thin and stained look or a full colored lips. Gradation, ombre lips, it is all possible since the product is blendable and provide several finish. If you prefer something like demi matte, just dab with tissue after applying.

Or, like it was meant to be, made them bold like acrylic paints do.

It changed my appearance to be fresher and hey, orange is not such a 'weird' color after all and we can look good in it. Somehow I always imagine orange as a very striking color that brought too much attention, now it seems pretty and interesting.

as said, I will review them one by one and I can't resist my self not to touch the eyeshadow palette among the first to be devoured.

So I kinda get romantic night, smokey eyes, cocktail nights, to daily makeup without a sweat. They all there, ready to be used, with the same consistency, thickness and pigments that are so spot on.

Here they are in swatches, they look awesome. It's like playing with super pigmented chalk when I was a kid. I love drawing on our garage floor, they are beautiful and these are a friendly reminder of my colorful childhood. Reminds me to play more with colors too for my look. These shadows are perfect for the eyes and anywhere. Mixed it up with petroleum jelly, glitter gel, or just about anything according to your imagination, or as it is, perfect matte.

Playing between the tones can obviously show 3D effects, like a rounded eyelids or something that more sophisticated or even dark. They are my current hobby thanks to Make Up For Ever.

Getting the eyes fixed needs a lot of technique and I'm intrigue since a good product also helps, this one sure do. They don't easily crumbled, fall out or dusty. The powder is loose yet stick just right on the right place. Using any brush or even finger will definitely do and I love seeing the result as every swipe means setting it in and never wears off.

As mentioned on the website, all of the shadows are in matte finish. 9 matte shadows that represent endless combination. Not that the brand is shy with the tones or lack of options, in fact, Make Up For Ever is one of the brand with the most hue in the business and we love them for that.

Make Up For Ever Artist Liquid Matte

Hello lovelies,

noticed something different in my look below? Oh yes, I bet all eyes are on my lips as I'm using Make Up For Ever Artist Liquid Matte in 505 Blackcurrant (the darkest shade there is in the collection right now).

There are 15 shades in total and third of it is dedicated to nudes, so you'll see 5 nudes in perfect cream, slightly pinkish, to super pale peach. I was torn between the nudes of this blackcurrant and finally made my choice, as seen :D

The price of each is sold around Rp.300k, which is predictable since it was sold for 20 USD worldwide.

There's no noticeable scent, which is great, since some scent could actually put me off. The wand is wonderful and the tip of the applicator is flexible and made to be used without doubt.

The container is simple but luxurious, definitely showing class in getting a very good quality container and doesn't look plasticky nor cheap. It is something that you'll probably happily used in front of your friends during gathering or that cocktail with girlfriends. Since for sure this is not something to show off in front of your man, it's kinda useless for them being clueless.

They have like the richest pigment in terms of intensity and true color. I'm exuberant, ecstatic, and thrilled with the color. It's all there. The website surely doesn't show the just as it's not as deep as this. The color on the website is merely purple while the true shade is perfectly blackcurrant. 

Some people may avoid using this tone since it look so dark, but I find the charm on it as it made my skin looks so much fairer, and I love how the coverage sealed the lips, coated them without fail while the feeling of using the liquid matte is comfortable and light.

The transfer-proof formula is suitable for a whole day use as it sticks to me. Cleaning it is best using an oil based lip makeup remover as micellar water will have some trouble in removing the product without much wiping. An oil based remover will quickly breaks the particles and I can easily swipe it off using a cotton pad and it need like 1-2 swipes only.

Since it easily cleans with oils, it means eating something oily will remove them, so do be careful and always carry them for a quick touch up after meals.

Does the product have that drying effect or dry spell? Not really. This is probably sound not normal but even thou it's 'dry', it's not drying and it's still flexible, which leaves a tiny room for transfer. It did leaves some flecks of marks on my cup when I'm drinking.

Overall,

a great liquid matte that hard to resist, definitely will come back and get some more shades for me...hmm, nudes maybe. Perfect in color, intensity and tone, the formula is hard to beat, as it is creamy yet light at the same time, very comfortable on the lips and the pigment last all day long... or to the next day if you don't clean up :D

Make Up For Ever has opened a new concept store in Gandaria City, and if you're a fan of Make Up For Ever (like me) then you should've know their "usual" store.

I love the open space layout as it brings more dynamic and beauty lovers idea of playing inside the store. There's many things going on at the same time as I walk into their store, from the non stop ads to inspiring ideas on my next look, so everything is there and hard to resist.

This time, MUFE also comes with their newest collection with Jessie J. There were colors, texture and definitely hard core style that rocks!

During the event, for sure the first thing I do is trying all the lippies and yes, they are all new, no one use it and all in perfect shape.

My favorite is M501, Plum Violet, I couldn't get my hands off it, I know I want to try other colors but I have this one the longest.

It is matte (M means Matte) and super pigmented, rather dry a bit and stays on the lips really well. As long as I don't eat something oily.

The creams has many shades, like more than 30 and they are gorgeous.

Look at me with C104 Praline Beige. The nude is perfect for me as it gives me a hint of subtle peach, somehow it made my skin appear brighter.

Below is me using C 506 Dark Purple, and I love it, it still have slight reddish hue on my lips and I look so good in it. The shade made my skin super fair and the texture is just superb. I love how smooth it is and intense. Oh never get it swiped off without a proper cleanser or you'll ended up getting the worst smudge ever, like having bruises all over your mouth.

Treat them well and this unbeatable gorgeous color is yours.

C 502 Taupe Violet, it's so bright and vivid. It's not something that I can use everyday, but the color is still so gorgeous, unique and rocks!

C 603 Midnight Blue, this one is the talk of the town, definitely!

It's limited edition, superb and yes, the pigment is like all there. I know that it supposed to be weird, but it's not and looks pretty. Almost everyone is intrigued by color and using it during the event.

Which one is your pick? Well whatever shade you pick, they'll definitely beautiful and one definitely find that one, or five perfect shade that they'll want, without a tad more. As every shade made with care, we may just see it as hints by hints, but it made a huge differences to ones skin tone.

a few days ago I was invited to an event that celebrate colors and irresistible selections that speaks beyond waterproof.

When I arrived at the event, arrays of products has been deliberately spread all over the venue and we get to play with them, all 20 shades. I choose some to be used that day, Matte Pastel Purple and Iridescent Pop Purple. It matches my outfit :D

The texture is creamy, soft, smooth and gave us plenty of time to blend before it finally set and stays.

The only fact that I think I dislike is we have to use a sharpener, I wish they come in an automatic form. I often breaks them during sharpening, moreover the texture is soft and creamy. I do recommend chilling it inside the fridge before sharpening.

Aside from the sharpening facts, the eyeliner works like a charm. It has the ability to works as an eyeliner and eyeshadow. Just blend it with fingers or your favorite brush.

As the event has an outdoor location and it is hot plus humid, my greasy eyelids fights and struggle tries to somehow breaks the formula apart. They just doesn't budge. Aqua XL Eye Pencil win against my greasy eyelids where almost no waterproof products can survive. This one does and strive.

And a simple instruction as well. But as usual, the true testament is when the product is actually used.

I'm choosing Y23, a tad lighter than my actual shade as it helps as a highlighter too. I can use the one that exactly my shade but I need a highlighter too as most brand doesn't really have fair shades I can use.
