Talika Lipocils Expert Review

Hello lovelies,

finally, after numerous time using the product and sharing it on my blog, I can now happily made this post with before after images.

I was always forget to took the after images, or use the product diligently, now, I'm still occasionally forgot but try my best to remember. So this is my review after using it for a month (not necessarily everyday but kinda almost everyday).

-*-

And

http://whileyouonearth.blogspot.co.id/2013/07/i-take-lipocils-expert-challenge.html

-*-

So yes, there has been several incomplete reviews regarding the product. Now, it finally completed.

Below is my lashes before the treatment begin. Before using Lipocils (again).

-*-

And below is the after, it looks so much longer. When my eyes are open the lashes are filling the top part and we can see the tips of the lashes while before the treatment it was short.

-*-

And when closed, the differences are much more visible. They are longer for sure.

And why do I need to keep using Lipocils every now and then?! The key is in the regrowth, as a natural part of a human being, everything doesn't last, we are immortal, so does our lashes. They'll grow and depart sooner or lather, hence a new one will come and need Lipocils again. And then, I use many falsies again and sometime accidentally pluck one or two off, or using eyelash extension and add extra burden to the lashes and caused them to grow weary and leave early and so on. Hence the new ones that just in their grow spurt need a fresh new help, from a fresh new Lipocils.

We just need to be patience and diligent in using it daily. Twice if possible. When everything is still clean, like after shower, and the feeling of using the product, is a bit sting at first, but I get used to it after a few application. I always prefer using it when I'm at home and doesn't have a plan to go anywhere, as it doesn't really goes well with a waterproof mascara, as it will made them 'bleed' as in not really waterproof anymore.

There you go, a complete post for Talika's Lipocils Expert. One of the best solution for a longer, thicker and darker lashes.

Thank you Talika Indonesia.

D.U.P Eyelash Glue Super Fit

Hello lovelies,

here's another eyelash glue that is available on the market.

Seems like this Japanese brand hasn't really been very famous and after trying their products I somewhat understand why.

-*-

The packaging itself is lovely, minimalist and stylish. I really like the blue and whites, they look refreshing.

Inside is a creamy white glue with fine brush applicator, just like any other brand out there on the market. Similar tube, shape and wand inside.

Using it also simple. just like their image on top, apply the product on the falsies, wait until it is semi dry, attach on the area near the roots of the real lashes and hold until set. And they have kinda a while before setting and sometime doesn't really hold. I have to bring the glue everywhere since the performance is pretty poor.

Imagine going to an event and the falsies just goes off halfway. Looking at them dangling here and there is just annoying.

-*-

In terms of comfort, it does, they stick (when they do) and doesn't feel tight nor sticky. It's just their 'sticking' power that doesn't really last against just a bit of sweat or grease or tears from the eyes zone.

-*-

I hope they improve the formula or perhaps I tried another type of this glue. They are not cheap, it comes in a price around Rp.100.000, so they should perform well since many glue for falsies with lower price gives better ratings and experience than this.

-*-

Overall,

not really satisfy and wont recommend the product to a friend, sorry.

Talika Indonesia

Hello lovelies,

A few weeks ago I was having fun at Talika. Once again bloggers are invited to share on their products. We are once again reminded on their products and how we can benefit from them.

-*-

Talika is from France, and their products is known for being safe, effective, yet delicate and comfortable to be used.

Using many different technologies, research and even experience in gathering these babies into Talika line of products.

-*-

The one for the face, the one for the lashes, the one for the bust, buttock, brightening, slimming, LED lights and some more.

Those are complementary products that just like explained by Talika themselves, we might wont look for them since they are sometime can be very specific and not really our 'daily things', they are the things that useful yet we pretty much wont aware off if we didn't look for them.

-*-

These are the skincare, they are made for helping the skin to appear brighter.

And products that helps the skin appear ready for camera. Flawless and smooth.

-*-

X-Slim, the handy tool that can help slimming process by breaking down fats and helps the circulation better. I wish I can try them soon.

-*-

These are the products given to me, their famous Lipocils for eyelash growth, an eyelash curler, some samples,

-*-

Back up 3D that helps firming the buttocks area, as it lifts, toned and made them look rounder.

-*-

The details are written on the packaging and the details are available on their official website.

-*-

Made to be used around 6 weeks to see a significant effect, and below is the texture of the product.

It was a cloudy green gel.

-*-

The scent and texture is similar to the product for the bust, is it the same or not I do not know, but I will review them one by one on separate posts.

-*-

Use the like a lotion, 2x a day after shower and leave it on the skin without rinsing them off.

-*-

As mentioned above, they look so similar one to another, if I put some on my hands no one can tell the differences between these two.

-*-

Here's the Slim Serum.

-*-

I hope it works well on me :D

-*-

Other products from Talika, the hand scrub made from sea salt and serum.

-*-

I got to try them directly on the event. Hand scrub massage and the serum applied after the hands are clean. It was absorbed almost instantly and my hands feels so smooth and soft at the same time.

-*-

Thank you so much Talika and see you soon on your next event.

J'Adore Nail Spa and Eyelash Extension

Hello everyone,

this is my second visit to J'Adore Nail Spa. Their spa is located in Kelapa Gading area. Next to Hollywings.

The address is Boulevard Raya Blok QA 5 No. 10.
Jakarta.

Phone 021 4514402

-*-

I'm there for their nail art and lash extension service.

-*-

As any child when into a candy shop, I look at J'Adore Nail Spa art collection one by one and want them all, seriously want them all.

From cute, artistic, romantic, glamour to flowers and marble. The owner itself has been a fan of nail art since years ago, seems like her passion is more than just a hobby.

-*-

Since it will be Chinese New Year soon and the nail gel can last for more than a month, I would like my nails to be painted in the festivity.

-*-

The brand used is Presto, one of the most recommended nail gel polish that comes in a pot from Japan. It has a texture that slightly fuller than the on in bottle form and produce finer result for the artist.

Apply the gel layer by layer using special brush, kinda like makeup brush that comes in many sizes and tips too. Impressive.

-*-

These are used for my Chinese New Year theme nails.

And if you're wondering, they do have tons of colors available from sheer to opaque. With sparkles, matte or shine.

-*-

Who draw my nails? Ms. Irene herself, the owner of J'Adore Nail Spa. Her teacher is a Japanese, hence part of the credit goes to her teacher, the meticulous and precision application.

-*-

Layer after layer and everything using Presto from the product to the LED lights (which is of course by far safer than UV light). Gel nail polish compared to regular nail polish also a better choice since it still let the nails breath. Hence after the nail gel the nails wont be yellowish.

I learn all of that from Ms. Irene.

-*-

And ta da! Here they are! Looking so adorably pretty. Everything is so neat and tidy, every little details are made without fail, wow this girl can seriously draw. The whole process took around 2 and a half hours, I also ordered a meal while having my hair drawn since it is after all Kelapa Gading area and nearby restaurants are so appetizing.

After it is done the first thing I do is go to the bathroom, afraid that any of the layer will come off (btw everything is made from gel, even the 3D effects). Those tiny little golden beads? Made from the gels, the mirror porcelain like on my ring fingers? Made from gels too, everything is made from gel since according to Ms. Irene, an acrylic also doesn't let the nails breath, like regular nail polish.

-*-

One of the best thing happen during the nail gel art, as Ms Irene help me 'grew' my broken and chipped nail. I'm already worry since the breakage was quite deep, and there's no way to make them even by cutting them in even shape, since it is way too deep, so she added a nail extension on the specific area using the same gel nail polish, layered until the exact shape ans size.

Bride to be can ask for this service to have longer nails instantly.

-*-

I'm so happy and can't stop showing off, and then I remember, it's time to do the lashes, I have to quickly went into a private room at the back for eyelash extension since it is usually took 90 minutes to be done.

-*-

After covering the lower area, the lash extension begin. One by one the lashes are glued to the lashes, and of course all the lashes and glue are from Japan with safety in mind.

Before the lashes are glued, a primer is added on each lash.

-*-

Take note that do visit the loo, eat and drink before the treatment as you can't really do anything during the process. Sleep if you must and keep your eyes shut at all times. The staff need to put on her A game and fully concentrate on putting on the lashes and the glue dried really fast and of course, the eyes are very sensitive as well.

-*-

After around 90 minutes I'm done, and I'm also given a nice lashes brush (like a mascara one, but clean) to help dried and get the lashes back in their shape after being drench on each shower.

I was advice to avoid excessive exercise, using mascara or any waterproof products near the lashes since when it is cleaned I need to use a waterproof makeup remover that can be oily and made the glue less powerful.

Steaming also not allowed for the first two days, as well as rubbing the lashes. So be gentle in everything related to the lashes if you want them to last.

-*-

My lashes are made with natural in mind and using the length of 9,10,11,12 respectively with different curls on different side. Where the mid central are L-shaped curl and the outer corner is C-shaped curl.

-*-

My eyes seems prettier already, without the need of using additional makeup, in about a month, I don't have to worry about lashes.

-*-

Thank you so much J'Adore Nail Spa, to this day this is the most long lasting lash extension I had experienced. It's been 5 days and none of them has fall off. In other places lashes start coming off since day 1, like seriously, by day 5 I need to ask for a re touch and they still wont last to a week.

Love it!!!

Ooh My Lash !!

Hi all,

Ooh My Lash !! is a new premium faux lashes maker in town.

Currently with three variant, they are battling our lashes from daily natural look to glamour.

-*-

Here are Charlotte (the most natural and innocent look, Bellinda, and Jolie.

-*-

The pink and mint packaging is cute, but hey, we're here for the lashes right and nothing but that.

The line could be better, and the finished could be tidier as well, especially on the ends (like shown in Jolie).

The material is light and comfortable, but trimming is needed (again only at Jolie's variant) on the ends.

-*-

The product doesn't include a glue, so you'll need to get your own glue, and I'm happy with the fact that the lashes are not too flimsy, but not as stern as lashes with plastic line, so it is somewhere in between. I can use it easily, especially with an applicator and the shape is pretty much loose. So yes, an applicator is definitely needed, especially for those who are just using faux lashes for the first time.

-*-

I do wish they carry more variant, like super bold ones or shapes like rounded or oval for a wider looking eyes.

-*-

They are reusable alright, just pull them gently whenever possible so the lashes would stay intact and put them inside the original packaging. You can also clean them using warm soapy water and the glue plus makeup comes off easily without the need to be shake, massage or worst, rubbed. Then gently rinse them and dry the lashes by putting them on a towel paper overnight.

-*-

Above is me wearing Charlotte, and you can see more of Charlotte from different angle on my instagram @carnellin and below is Bellinda.

-*-

Clearly Bellinda is more vivid and the sexy cat eye look is just so ppuurrrrty.

-*-

I haven't tried Jolie yet, hopefully soon, meanwhile, OOh My Lash !! Is having a promotion, do check them out on instagram @oohmylash_id

Thank you.

False Eyelash Applicator

Hello everyone!!

Who love falsies??? I do!!! We all do!!! Heehee, falsies is legitimately here and they are like, everywhere. So many brands of lashes and so many shape and even colors too.

Some are very firm and easy to be used while some are known to be made from real hair and super thin and moreover flimsy. Those are kinda difficult to be used.

Fret not, here are some tools available at AYou Beauty, false eyelash applicator.

-*-

There are several options here and each with their own characteristic. In this post, I'll review some of them.

-*-

This is KAI, I see the one shaped like this in beauty store as well, seems like this type of applicator easily found here and there. The reason is probably due to the shape, the curves and the container that held the lashes.

-*-

The details on the packaging pretty much sums it up and detailed with the image. We can just follow 1,2,3 and put it on,easy right? Well, that's depends on how you use it.

-*-

First, I find the container, the white falsies holder to be more hassle than useful. I think our hand do a better job in holding them then putting the falsies at it's exact location, it is not easy to stands them up on it.

So I prefer to hold it using my clean fingers and let the applicator get a good grip on it.

Put the glue on, wait around 10-20 seconds and move your head like it's looking something above before moving the eyes to the horizontal position, like when you're using an eyeliner, gently place the falsies attached to the applicator to the eyelid where the eyes is 1/3 open. And... yes, if the shape of your eyes is not exactly like the applicator's curve, expect the lashes to be a bit unfit to the lids or you might need to adjust it a bit. I find this applicator is more suitable for me as a makeup artist that when using it alone.

So this applicator is helping me putting on lashes to other people than myself.

-*-

This is me after putting on the lashes with the help of KAI false eyelash applicator ... and my fingers ^___^'

-*-

Next, it is my favorite out of all the false eyelash applicator I've tried. This is far more suitable for a solo use as in to use the falsies on myself. According to Another You Beauty, this item is best seller as well.

The shape, curve and details is just right. I can easily use it to put on the upper falsies or lower, just flip it. And It is the perfect tool for right and left handed too. Press the handle and the clasp will open and we can just put the falsies there with the direction accordingly.

Put the glue on while the lashes is being held, wait for a while, and then gently put the 'roots' of the falsies onto the eyelids near the natural eyelashes.

-*-

The thin handles also become a good feature of the applicator, we can tilt it a bit during application so we can see the falsies clinging to the eyelid. It does took a bit of practice at first but it is still the easiest one and handiest one here for private use.

I still have one more to share, stay tune, and don't forget to check out my instagram @carnellin for I will share a short video of using them.

Thank you so much AYou Beauty.
