Althea Makeup Sunrise & Moonrise, Watercolor Cream Tint, and Flawless Creamy Concealers

after about a month or two trying their makeup set, here they are, the reviews of the products. I did made a youtube video (here) where I'm using all of their products, including an acne gel and sparkly gel eyeliner.

On the photos here, I'm using the makeup too from Althea. From Eyeshadow, concealers, liquid lips and glittery eyes. My theme was a Glistening Red Valentine Makeup with Althea. The skin itself looks flawlessly glistening, perhaps thanks to all the concealers applied and cover all imperfections. The products are easy to be used and simple as it is. Their pigments also not bad, pretty much bold and daring.

I know the red lips can be intimidating, but they also have the coral too, don't worry, since the theme is red valentine, I just had to use the red one and I love it, it's perfect for red lovers.

The eyeshadow itself is pretty creamy and easy to be blend, when doing makeup for indoor photoshoot I can imagine myself adding some vaseline for a watery lids and how charming it would be.

Okay, let's start again from the base, from the concealers creams, they are creamy alright and comes in 4 shades. I know that they are pretty mild and bright in terms of shade, no visible darkness here, just vanilla, ginger, honey, and mocha. I can't even use the darkest one as contouring but they work like a charm in hiding imperfections.

Dab, dab, dab on the area needed, doesn't have to be the whole face, but you can if you want, and then blend it using a brush or sponge, or even finger. It will stay, puff it out with a bit of powder to set the concealing power.

And these are the eyeshadows, the one that can be used as highlights on any part of the face and body too. My cheeks are using them on the top part, hence you can see the glistening, it just add a sparkly dimension on the face. There are some fall outs but it was bearable, do some baking before applying eyeshadow for a cleaner finish.

Plum, strawberry, peach and marron, they are all so gorgeous and staining too, so your lips wont ever be naked when using the cream tint, there's always a flush, and I'm using it for my cheeks too on these photos.

The product smells like berry, not really heavily scented but it was noticeable. The creamy formula is comfortable and pleasant, kinda slippery and wet, and it does stays wet for a long time, you can simply dab a bit with tissue to ease the 'wet' sensation so they'll become more comfortable. But if you prefer a wet glass lips, just leave it on. The cream tint also easy to be reapply as it wont be noodling.

Spotlight Eye Glitter

Last but not least, the glistening on the inner corner of my eyes are the spotlight eye glitter and the swatches are below the lippies on the picture above. There's one in gold and pink, we can use it as a glitters for the mid of the lids, or inner corner of the eyes, or waterlines, or even on other places the body.

The product does last and have a good staying power, but not really rub proof. It resist water too but not completely as in it will gradually lessen and lessen as in it will fall off little by little.

So, what do you think about these babies, I still think that they worth having. On the image below, did you noticed that the lips is different? That's when the product has been lifted off using facial tissue, so the stained lips look itself is pretty amazing and suitable for daily use, in the end, it is pretty kiss-proof for a romantic valentine night.

COVERNINE Color in Magnetfit Tint Set (5 colors)

For sure, the set comes in 5 lovely irresistible tones that I personally love, like if e have to choose 5 shades, it is probably these. And they can be mixed and match too, from mixing the colors to creating gradation.

I know, I'm jumping ahead now with swatches and now, I'm showing the container, the black packaging that are small and perfect for traveling. For those who wants to try, all of them only cost around Rp. 450k, they may be small but as seen, packed with good pigments. The texture is bright and glossy at first where then it will turn into stained matte that made the lips looks like it has absorbed the colors.

Inside a plastic zip pouch are the 5 products, the details on the shades are sticker-ed on the bottom part of each product and it have the exact same color as the liquid inside. The wand is like any other, soft and convenient to be used and deliver enough liquid each time.

Since I'm a huge fan of everything deep and red, I always started with the darkest tone that made me look fiercely beautiful.

The feeling of using the product is a bit weird, there's a mild tingling on the part where there's chapped, so do use it only on perfectly fine and healthy lips. There's a fruity floral scent that somehow addictive for me, the berries smells so good and appetizing too. Even thou' they goes away within minutes, it is still enjoyable.

(Dizzy Red)

For those who loves red not as deep as I am. Can still enjoys Dizzy Red as it is a famous red tone that everyone seems to be falling head over heels with. It brighten up the whole face like the one below, with a bit of a pink.

(Pink Peacock)

This is their version of fuchsia, I must say, I do look pretty using Pink Peacock. It's a color that anyone can use and help perk up the whole look like a peacock opening the wings.

(Prism Pink)

It keep going to a softer and milder tone or may I say, paler. The soft prism pink that made me look like an innocent girl. Same goes with Salmon Coral below.

(Salmon Coral)

There wont be a complete set without an orange hint, all Korean makeup have that orange tone, like it was loved by many and does create a unique hue. The trend goes worldwide, it's not a new shade, yet somehow, it was really a bit when Korean cosmetic brings it up.

So there you go, all 5 shades, 5 irresistible colors that can easily be used daily, on special occasions and for many, many looks beyond.

Some may stained even more (like Dizzy Red and Pink Peacock) while others are mildly to medium stain. They'll usually fade away after a day.

The details of the products are available are available on the backside of the box. It comes in English and mostly Korean, where the brand came from.

The box is neat and the bottles are super cute, Korean cosmetics are known as a very clever brands with irresistible designs. Literally like bottles of ink.

But the consistency if not like regular ink, it was creamy and satisfying, I love how smooth and slippery it felt on the skin, but on the lips it is a bit velvety on the finish.

When wiped away, the ink does leaves some stain on the skin. This could be an advantage for those who are looking for a product that last. Like when accidentally removed the lip color while eating, the lips won't be so pale, there's still some color left behind.

I've noticed that Beautiful Coral Pink is more deeply pigmented and staining than Dry Rose Brown, on the swatches, the Dry Rose Brown is on the top of the Beautiful Coral Pink. Noticeable from the shade, where the rose is more subtle and the Coral Pink is bright and lively.

Below is me using Dry Rose Brown. The color is exquisite, delicate and I look sophisticated. Perfect for those who are working and want to appear a bit more serious while still looking so beautiful. It's a shade I can use to go to a parents teacher meeting or something like that.

They are not completely waterproof, but as mentioned above, the stain is gorgeous and made the lips looking 'always in color'.

And this is Beautiful Coral Pink below. The color brightens the whole complexion and I love how the color made me appear younger.

Both of the color can be mixed, used as gradations, and as a stained lips. Either way, just by using this two, the possibilities are 7 variations from using it alone to together.

JAFRA Long Wear Creme Blush and Liquid Matte Lipstick

How is everyone? I hope things are well and we can all have fun with some makeup.

These babies are from Jafra, they are Long Wear Creme Blush in Mauve shade and Liquid Matte Lipstick in Soft Kiss shade.

The box are all in black and white details, clear and simple message of the products.

I got mine from @emcosmeticindo (Instagram).

Let's start by reviewing the cream blush.

The product is as it is, a creamy blush that feels comfortable on the skin. The packaging looks like a powder container, usually cream blush comes in a pot. You can simply use a brush, sponge or fingers in using the product.

There's three available shade Peach, Peony, and on this post, Mauve for Rp.158.000.

As seen in the images, it was pretty pigmented and the color can be bold from the single swipe. Blending it was easy, finger, blush, or sponge, any form will do. And as the form is cream, use it on a wet makeup, before applying any powder. So I'm using liquid foundation, concealer and then this cream with some highlights gel and stick contour.

I'm blending them all (on designated areas) using beauty blender and they'll make my skin appeared like above.

I must say, I can't never go without blush on, it's a must have, must use, must be on the cheeks as it add radiance, tone and live up the mood. I always feels like the blush made me prettier heehee.

Last step is seal everything using a finishing powder. This step helps everything underneath stays put on its place and looking more naturally flawless. The cream blush does last for hours and hours without going away.

The blush is pretty bold in color with demi shine finish. Build-able from the lightest shade to dramatic by layering. Easy to be used, smooth and I have never experience any allergic nor discomfort in using it. I don't smell any distinct scent when using it as well.

Next is their Liquid Matte Lipstick, I know I know there's tons of liquid matte nowadays and you must be wondering why should I choose this one, the things is the shade is one of the reason. Their undertone is neutral to fair skin, hence it is suitable for most skin tone without looking dark. Somehow it's brightening.

There's around 6 shades and each cost Rp.199.000, so in terms of price, it is still in the mid range.

The product comes in a tube, like most liquid lipstick, and dries up pretty fast without giving my lips uncomfortable crackings. The formula have a sweet vanilla cupcake kinda aroma, which is not my favorite, but when it's dry, the scent wears off almost instantly, hence I have no complain.

The color is as it is, when you see the clear packaging, it shows what's inside. The other 5 shade are varied from bright red, deep red, slightly orange, and pinks.

They do last quite good on the lips, as long as I don't eat anything oily, it'll stay. That means, cleaning the liquid matte require cleansing oil to easily break the particles and wiped them off with a cotton.

Regarding the moisturizing effect, I think it's not really significant when I'm using it. It's not terribly drying but it's not really moisturizing as well in terms of like using a balm or some sort since the finish product is still in very much matte.

So there you go, a beauty products from Jafra that are easily and comfortably used, perfect for daily or special occasion plus practical too. The Long Wear Cream Blush can be used for all skin area, like as a eyeshadow, lippies, as well as cheeks. It is a great makeup for a one tone look.

The Liquid Matte is pretty comfortable too and long lasting (as long there's no oil in touch).

Do try these babies, especially the cream blush, I do highly recommend it.

Brun Brun Paris

few months ago, I started looking at a store inside a mall, it is said to be Brun Brun Paris, this shop sells a lot of tit bids that made any girls lurking. But they sells tons of products not just for girls, anyone, any gendel and almost any needs from accessories to beauty products.

Collaborating with Sociolla, this is my first SOCO box consist of beauty products from Brun Brun Paris.

Two Phase Make Up Remover, Daily Cleanser, Daily Moisturizer, Peel Off Mask Moisturizing, Peel Off Mask Reviving, and a Lip Cheek Eye Color.

I happen to bring the box during my tip in Bangka and tried some of them when traveling there. I've shared about them on my instagram account too at @carnellin.

Let's start with the Make Up Remover that cost only Rp 29.900.

Membantu mengangkat riasan wajah bahkan riasan waterproof. Diformulasikan dengan ekstrak Chamomile dan Jojoba Oil, membantu membersihkan, melembabkan, dan menyegarkan wajah Anda

The texture is very oily, so it removes makeup very easily, from the waterproof eye makeup or that hard to deal liquid lipstick that wont easily comes off. Everything can be removed in a single swipe using cotton pad damped by the make up remover.

After cleaning it, do double wash using a foaming facial wash to remove the leftovers, including the oils.

Like this Daily Cleanser, it foams up easily and cleans every residue. It cost around Rp. 15.900 and perfect for traveling.

The texture is creamy and wont easily spill.

Continuing the review, next is their Daily Moisturizer that so fragrant, I think they want a bit overboard with the scent, I wish they tone it down a little. I don't think the moisturizer suitable for very sensitive skin.

The white creamy formula can be a bit sticky and need a really long time to absorb, even, after some time, they still won't absorb, leaving the skin feels kinda greasy. I'm using it for my heels and elbows.

Then, for weekly treatment, these are they peel off masks. Rp. 19.900 a piece.

Peel Off Mask dengan ekstrak Avocado dan Mulberry membantu menjaga kulit tetap bersih dan segar. Dengan kombinasi formula yang membantu mencerahkan sekaligus menutrisi kulit Anda.  Gunakan secara merata pada wajah Anda dan tunggu hingga mengering. Kemudian lepaskan dan  bilas dengan air hangat.
Peel off mask  Black Mud berasal dari bahan alam, mengandung mineral dan anti oksidan yang membantu meremajakan kulit dengan mengangkat sel-sel kulit mati dan membantu mengencangkan kulit wajah, menjadikan kulit tampak bersih dan muda berseri. Gunakan secara merata pada wajah Anda dan tunggu hingga mengering. Kemudian lepaskan dan  bilas dengan air hangat.

The strawberry is pink and the mud one is black. I don't feel any significant differences in terms of feeling and after effects of using them. The pink have berry scent and the mud have no scent, I guess that's the differences between the color. And hmm, again, not for sensitive skin, since when I'm using it on my hand after getting a bit of a sun dose, it does sting a bit.

The drying time is around 30 minutes and when I peel them, they are pretty gentle, so they don't pull out the gunks in the pores as well. Maybe we should leave that to the nose pack.

When you apply too thin it wont be easy to pull it all at once, so do apply just enough layer so the process of peeling is satisfying :D even the kids love to peel this stuff.

But again, in terms of function and benefit, I don't really find obvious ones.

Next is perhaps my favorite product among all of them. Their lip cream that can be used for the cheek and eyes (as in eyeshadow ya), have the best texture and feeling ever. The formula is so light, the coverage is very good, and the color is SO there. Selling price Rp. 39.900 (so cheap right?!)

Turns out they have many shades from pink to purple and red too. This is Expose. They also have lipsticks and other finish too aside from this matte ones.

I love the color, I think it loo great on me and the feeling of using the cream is light and wonderful, I do recommend trying the lip eye and cheek color.

Plum Pout has that deep berry shade, coral is irresistible for daily to special event, berry rose is a merit between red and pink, red touch is pure red with a hint of orange, wine shine is gorgeous wine that I've been looking for, and berry cherry, oh she owns the world.

The texture is like lip gloss alright and a bit sticky with more to the slippery. The shine is surely there and the more I'm using it the more addicted I am to the glossy gloss, it's like glass with lava of color inside.

The differences on some shade is a tad but surprisingly, it is significantly different when different skin tone are using the same shade, so you'll never know the power of undertone until you witness one.

On the image above I'm using Wine Shine. It's kinda like taffy or magenta. Somehow the color feels independent, still feminine and demure but lovingly show freedom of expression.

This is Plum Pout. The deepest shade of them all.

Most lip gloss in the market are sheer to rather sheer, Lakme Absolut Gloss Stylist deliver good coverage with fine pigment that gives result My chappy dry lips appear to be so smooth and the liquid feels good too, so really, it's more to the slippery than sticky.

They may not be waterproof nor wipe proof but the color last as long as they are untouchable.

I'm using Berry Cherry on the image above.

There's a scent, a fragrant berry like scent on every product, but it's a subtle one, hence I don't feel like using perfume on my lips.

Plum Pout and Berry Cherry probably two of the strongest shades, they are deep and the other is bright. The rest of the shades are what I called to be fun shades. They speaks young and dynamic.

Coral Blush is probably one of the most prettiest shade without looking too girly. Coral has been a shade that getting a lot of attention lately. It's sophisticated, feminine, but still is a color that you'll see on girls who are independent, trend setter and real.

This is Red Touch which somehow on me looks a bit more to the orange, this is a shade without pink as well. The color appear fresh and it gives the skin a brighter tone.

In the end, it's all about your favorite and perhaps outfit too. Look at some of the image below for a different feel from outdoor light and background.

Above is Berry Rose and below is Berry Cherry. And do I need to mention the glow on the outdoor light?! It's amazing, my lips appear so glossily smooth, like a leather, vinyl, or perhaps liquid vinyl, irresistible!

The liquid doesn't bleed, it stays in it's place, easy to apply, can be used sheer, gradation like or full. It is so pretty since the mood it brings on every shade is different thanks to the undertone. The shape of the container also unique, with the rectangle like and glass feel so we can see the liquid inside. Pricing wise it's in the budget friendly for around 100-150k for a color and gloss in one.

Warning!! The name of the shades clearly visible on the box, not in the product, so do be careful and check the lid as there's this words in black that shows the shade, it is rather faint but it's there.
