The one I'm having is kinda a limited edition 100 ml formula, and it have like a metal thingy inside which I hope is not a spatula made to be used with the product, since somehow I don't believe in skincare used with metal, like honey and stainless spoon perhaps, but I could be wrong in the metal spatula, however I keep it as a souvenir only and use another plastic made spatula.

Looking at the tub, the product does seems overflowing with the creams. Using the one that stuck on the lid itself took me a few days. My skin is dry and pretty much sensitive too. If I use a skincare that a bit harsh, or contain certain kind of chemicals that might be okay for most people, on me, it can be seen within minutes to hours.

Wrong serum? I develop tiny acne within 12 hours, any product that have a tag line as 'exfoliation'? My skin become red within minutes, skincare with too much fragrance or perhaps alcohol? Itchy and burn feeling within seconds. And mostly those are from using drug store or mass produced brands that already have standards and pass many bars like USFDA and so on.

I don't believe in purging nor having my skin 'suffer for a better future' nor 'cleansing' that cause breakouts and more stuffs like that. I don't like to squeeze my acne, pimples, blackheads and other things that doesn't normally shown on the skin. I like them to be treated with dignity and kindness, I don't believe in terms 'beauty is pain'.

So using this cream means as well, it means pampering, caring, nurturing and be kind to my skin in a way that my skin show healthy significance effects from moist, plump, to healthy glow and looking like I 'm well rested (when I'm clearly not), I have that glow from within and my skin looks and appear way younger than I'm actually am with no wrinkles nor lines.

Upon application, the skin will appear glistening moist, wait a few minutes and it will be absorb on to the skin and it will feel soft while moist at the same time. Leaving the skin grease-less but visible healthier. What I enjoy the most is the long lasting moist effect that still light and comfortable. The formula is rich, but the cream is not thick and doesn't have that oily feeling perhaps it even felt smooth. The skin will appear moist for a day. Even thou' I never leave it unmoisturized for the next 26 hours since I always take a shower twice a day, so 12-18 hours is top.

I pretty much use the moisturizer with any toner and serum I have at home, I always made sure my skin is clean before applying skincare, and I tried to sleep at least 20 minutes after applying skincare, just to make sure they have ample time to be absorbed and not by my pillows sheets.

Dehydrated skin will definitely enjoy and gain many benefits from using this cream, as well as many other skin condition. I put it on my must have item of all times.

So yes, even thou' this is gel, it's oil based, even thou' it comes in pink purely adorable cute jelly form, it is oil and it melts on the skin the minute it touches the warmth of our skin. Embalming the skin in pure comfort of oils, like Bio Oil does with their original formula and characteristic, oil. Same scents, same aroma and with a different texture and feeling upon application. When applying the oil it was like a liquid, pouring it on the skin is runny and watery, but with the gel, I can control the spreading easier, not that applying Bio Oil itself is difficult but less mess thou, in fact no mess with the gel.

In terms of absorbing to the skin, the original Bio Oil is lighter, while the gel does hold oil longer on the skin which filming the skin and made moisture stays longer in the skin. I even read the tests made and surveys by those who have stop using it for 3 days, their skin is still moist and not dry like it was used too.

While now (no thanks) since global warming and air conditioner has become a lifestyle in big cities like Jakarta, we are depending on it in fact to avoid the heat. The air indoor become so dry and the skin suffers too. While bad habits of junk food, lack of sleep and less drinking fluid also becoming another factor, trending diet (like the one I'm doing right now) as in Ketogenic, made the skin become severely dry as well. So daily pampering the skin is my obligation as if I didn't put heavy lotions and oils, they'll become worst, as in so itchy, visible cracking and pain in the end. So, for me, it is not an option, I had to use products for dry skin.

Now, how does Bio Oil Gel Kulit Kering performs compared to other products that I'm using like shea butter from L'Occitane, Dove Advance, to many other products I'm using right now for dry skin including Bioderma lotion for very dry skin, I must say, I'm pretty impressed. Bio Oil Gel Kulit Kering is good, is one of my favorite item as it glide on the skin easily and smells good, well, maybe because  I love the aroma of the original oil that I have no problem adjusting to the gel, it's just a matter of texture and consistency. Application of the gel is easier and definitely neater than oil, as sometime I drop the oils on the floor for it's watery texture, but if you're not a clumsy like sometime I am, you will not experience any problem either way.

Price wise, it's kinda similar, for around 170k for a 200gr of jar, the gel last on me for a month or so for a twice daily usage. The oil could last a bit longer since I can apply the oil more thinly, the gel as well, but I just love the texture so much I tend to use more than enough. The skin takes more time to absorb the oils on the gel which made wearing clothes took time as well, there's a plus and minus in everything, as it keep the skin moist longer, like in the dry winter during holiday, the dry skin will definitely be happier. And it works like a charm too on sensitive skin, since kulit akyuhh udah kering sensitive pula, kadang produk yang banyak fake chemical nya pasti bereaksi negatif. But with Bio Oil Gel ini, my skin is happy happy aja. Jadi kalau cocok pake Bio Oil, mostly you will have no problem using Bio Oil Gel.

Bisa buat muka? Well tulisannya sih non comedogenic, jadi harusnya bisa, meski daku pakenya body only.

Dan itu hasilnya di kulit begitu di pake and stays that way sampe mandi. Lembab, glistening dan tahan lama. For those with dry skin, of course you will be very happy when the skin stays moist and it stays in their stronger condition than when it is severly and painfully dry. I use the gel twice daily and when with other products sometime I layered the skin 2-3 times with oils, lotion, and then cream, with the Bio Oil Gel, it needs 1 or when it's really dry, 2 layers. So yes, it works for me.

Does it have oily feeling or like greasy? More like dry oil feeling and it is not greasy. It's more like a comfort for dry skin that it's been longing for.

So in this review, I'll share with you my first experience using the product since it's just been days. At first, when I opened the lid, the amazing citrus fruity scent is just bursting with freshness and I love the scent so much that I kept sniffing on it.

The white gel cream also looks so beautiful, it's cream but like jelly, so easy to be taken by the skin, melts within touch and made the skin instantly moisturized. I don't have to keep on massaging the product for the cream to be absorbed, my skin will drink all of it within seconds.

Like the cream is enveloping my skin with thin film of moisture, the collagen, ceramide and everything works together to help the skin become supple and soft.

Dry skin cracks easily and filled with lines and wrinkles, by using the cream, the skin gains strength by flexibility and hydration. The nourishing cream helps the skin and goes to beyond the surface so the moisture stays within and continue working giving the skin that mochi bouncy feeling for hours and hours.

For those who are looking for a deep effects may use it as a cream mask, simply apply on a clean damp skin, thin layer will do, or thick when you really need more, especially for me on the cheeks area where they were the driest, and leave them on for 15-30 minutes, I can also use an optimizer to add more massaging action so my skin absorb them even more and alive. Wipe the leftover with soft facial tissue or massage it to your neck, hands and elbow, or anywhere you please, the feeling is just wonderful. The skin becomes so soft and clear afterwards since it is filled with hydration.

Even thou the texture is creamy and the name contains horse oil, no worries, it's not greasy and sticky, the cream is pretty much comfortable.

I feel like the cream is pretty rich in ingredients hence I'm not using a serum when using Duplair Horse Oil, just clean the skin and spray toner so the skin is damp. Like known, the skin is can works better in damp condition including when using skincare, mask, or serum and moisturizer. That's why we've been longing for moisture that last on the skin, hence they'll stay happy and healthy, the 'thing' that made the skin able to retain moisture is non other than ceramide.

We all know that we have collagen that made the skin, so it is beneficial having cream that contain collagen, and this cream have 3 collagen, neat right?! Collagen and ceramide in the cream works side by side for our skin.

Hello lovelies,

this is Aestura Atobarrier 365 Cream that is now available at my Charis shop. It's a cream I've been using thanks to it's properties of helping dry and sensitive skin to feel better.

They called it, tiny capsules heehee, which probably is, they look so tiny and easy to melt. I don't have to use extra force, or kept on massaging the skin, just use as I normally do. And the best thing is that, Atobarrier 365 Cream can be used for just about anyone, since it is made for dry and sensitive skin, even the kids can use it.

Dry and sensitive skin get irritation quite easily and it can be from anywhere, since the skin is dry and the moisture is lack, the skin become red easily, scrapped off easily, so I put some on my kids whenever needed, like when they are playing in the playground and something scratch their skin made them itchy, I put the cream and it helps soothe the condition almost immediately, helping them to calms down too.

I'm back with more moisturizers that you could ever digest :D I'm a huge fan of this moisturizer and this is my second purchase. The first one I own is the pink one for dry skin, this version, the cyan shade is for normal combination skin.

The product comes in a heavy glass like jar, clear with colored inner side so it looks like water or thermal water, an illusion of ice also and gives us a glimpse of what's inside, a skin hydrator.

Twist the lid open and there's a lid that covers the surface made out of white plastic, just open it and behold, the gel with the same tone as the container, beautiful gel that seems so cooling and moisturizing the skin.

Aside from the texture, the aroma of the moisturizer is so fragrant, reminds me of Biotherm but that one is on way different class (a higher one haha!). My husband always says my face is scented everytime I'm using this one. It's not realistic to someone face to smell this good, like I'm using perfume on my face, however, I'm enjoying, the scent is not something that bothering me, perhaps since I like the refreshing aqua scent. If it's a perfume, the name could be Aquatic Blue or Sprites of the Ocean heehee.

Now the performance, does it work like a charm on my dry skin, it does! No complains from my cheeks whatsoever, they feel comfortable whenever I'm using it. I know my skin need hydration and I'm glad now many brands and products has comes up with the specification I need, hopefully many products in Indonesia will also comes to this idea where water based or perhaps mostly water based moisturizers emerges.

The product seems really good, from the packaging, container, details that are written or drawn on the box. Like they are there to impressed, the ingredients are colored beautifully, brightens, smooths, and revitalizes the skin they say.

Everything is written in details on the box, I like it, they provide enough information for potential buyer and user here. Rosehip oil is one of the highlighted ingredients a few years back said it can heal scars, help the skin to regenerate better and many other wonders to hydrating and nourishing. They have tons of products with rosehip oils in Singapore and I guess in Australia too since Singaporean kinda loves products from down under. Miranda Kerr also said to be using the oils...hmm, me want :D

From brightening, smoothing, fading scars, moisturizing, firming, even out skin tone, to many others and the shea butter itself is well known too for being so good to dry skin. Shea butter is also one of the most famous ingredients known worldwide to the the key most important details in making the skin elastic and well protected from many different conditions linked to dryness. So this cream should be one powerful moisturizer for me. Or anyone  with dry skin or problematic skin thanks to aging.

The texture of the cream is thick and rich yet on the skin they melt easily and made the skin feels so good. Like there's a calming thing going on, my dry skin are happy meeting with the cream and enjoy using it on daily basis.

What's appear to be heavy at first was becoming smooth and soft afterwards and giving my skin a subtle lovely glow of a perfectly moist skin away from dryness and the moist effect last almost the whole day, and that would be a good record for me.

Drink enough fluid, eat many fruits and veggies not always does the trick for my very dry skin, plus, I'm over 35 now and stays mostly indoor with air con. Going outside in Jakarta means pollution and very hot temperature nowadays. It's September alright but still no signs of actual rain, like a heavy rain fall for days that can make a differences in the air quality and significant to lowering the heat.

So using this cream, with brumisateur or perhaps another hydrating serum plus sun protection during the day or oil based serum during the night is suffice for me, it's what I need.

I love the texture, the result, the effects on my skin, the consistency and yes, the scent too, it is subtle yet comforting.

I've been using it for night and days now and keep enjoying the result. I don't feel any greasy nor oily skin, more like relaxed, pleasant and happy contented skin all day long. The product so far didn't cause any breakouts, black nor white heads, or any other unpleasant side effects, so I can safely say, so far so good (a few weeks of using).

I did see benefits using it (aside from moisturizing effect) but I kinda doubt about brightening, perhaps more to the evened out skin tone and less problems from aging. Fine lines seems to be more relaxed and perhaps made me appear younger by a bit, any younger I will take it as a compliment. But for better result, I may want to add rosehip essential oil for a higher chance of increasing the influence.

Bioderma Hydrabio Essence Lotion and Hydrabio Gel Creme

recently I went to Bali and have a wonderful time there. The temperature is a bit high at the beach and we love spending time there despite of the sun kept stroking on our skin. We went from around 9 am until 11 am. Took a break by getting lunch and back to the beach at around 3 pm. We feel like the soothing sound of the waves and wind calms our nerves. The sea water also known to be therapeutic.

During all those enjoyments, I do realize how our skin changed, some become red, some become darker, some become dry, especially after a day in the sun and get inside the hotel room, with the continuous air conditioner and warm bath, the skin took it's toll. I see wrinkles on the back of my hands and signs of dryness everywhere too. I need hydration and whenever I see an SOS product like an after sun care, it always promote one thing, hydrating the skin. It is confirmed that the skin need to be moist, well hydrated to heal and gets better. It's not just about looking pretty, but most of all, healthy.

No matter how much we put on sunblocks, no matter how high they are and being super waterproof, super sweat-proof, and even suitable for sun, sea, and sand, the skin still becomes dry. I put on so many layers of lotions and hydrating products but seems like the skin need to be 'reminded' of it's function and ability to lock down the moisture once again.

They look so gorgeous in white and blue. It's like the universal color of water. Some of them comes in a box ( serum, gel creme) while some is just at it is, bottles. The serum and gel cream also both comes in a pump bottle, an assurance of hygienic and practicality.

I'll share with you how I've been using the products for the last two weeks.

It's all started with a clean skin using Hydrabio H20.

A cleanser that not only cleans well but make the dry skin happy. It's completely non drying and kind to the skin. Cleans everything from lightweight makeup to daily debris. I always use a makeup remover first when using make up and then double clean the skin using Hydrabio H20 since it not only took away the leftovers on the pores but it cleans the residue from the makeup remover.

Simply soak a cotton with the solution and wipe the skin. All the dirt, leftovers or whatever it is will be seen on the damp cotton pad. I just kept on repeating with a set of cotton pad soaked with the Hydrabio H20 several time until they come out clean.

Proceed the process with the toner that tones the skin.

Again, using a cotton pad, soaked the cotton pad with Hydrabio Tonique, dab the skin gently. It provides that gentle hydrating and soothing effect that also works for sensitive skin. The product also helps the skin for the next step, Essence Lotion.

One thing that I instantly realizes is that the product have that lovely soothing blue scent that I love. It's so comfortable and delightful, I even soaked a face mask with the lotion and let them stay on my skin for a good 10-15 minutes. The product hydrates the skin like no other, it's very light yet refreshing. Those who own dry skin must have known the discomfort made by the thirsty skin, it felt tight, taut and the essence revive the skin making it flexible again.

I know that it doesn't work alone, they need other product, like when the skin is dirty, they can't really take what it need to be taken since it is blocked by everything on the surface, or when the skin is too dry, a brume or toner is needed to prep the skin before the essence. And of course, the serum and moisturizer is needed also afterwards, but so far, they already given me wonderful results to begin with.

After the skin is super moist, it is ready for the serum, a nourishment that able to go deeper and made even more differences onto the skin. Everything comes in the right texture, consistency and fluidity. But I want to add one more, the Brume, where it can be used at any stage, before or after any stage, and even throughout the day.  Brume could also be used before and after applying makeup, for the hair, whenever you feel dry and the kids are loving too. The product comes in small container too for travel and I find it as a savior during a flight where the air is unbearably dry. It is so true that moist air is easier to breathe in too, the brume does helps on that area too. Like the food during flight always taste funny, right?! It's because of our nose, being too dry somehow hinder our smell sense, the brume moist the skin and air when sprayed around us helps us to be awaken as well.

This is one product that I always carry, like when inside a car when it is too hot, too dry, or anytime I need hydration on my skin or hair. The brume sprayed fine particles so the skin (or hair) can take the moisture without being drenched like. So it is perfect for anytime. Look at the product, the white and light gel is like an oasis on its own. The pump works well and usually using a pump is enough for the whole face and neck. I distribute and massage them all over, wherever needed.

Since the skin is already moist and softened thanks to the previous products used, the skin can now easily 'bind' the gel cream so they stay in place and protect the skin with the moisture so the hydration stays inside.

Makeup can be used right after this routine is done, or for me, I use my sunscreen before makeup.

As the skin is ready and looks great, I feel like I can use less makeup.
