Etude House Precious Mineral Any Cushion in Natural Beige

Hello ladies,

how are you today? Yes, I know it's been a while since I pop by and write something here, I'm pregnant ^___^ and I'm on nausea term which gives me moments to stay away from anything related to what I used to be doing everyday. I need to start writing again as piles of stuff are in need to be reviewed and uploaded.

Etude House Precious Mineral Any Cushion is one of the item that has been waiting in line for a review since weeks and weeks ago. I've used the product and let my sis used it as well. Now, I'm ready to write my review.

-*-

Packaging wise, the product stays true to the pink world of Etude House, girly and who doesn't love a baby pink color? People who dislike this color of course ^__-- Well, I think most of the girls do, sometime we just refuse to admit it heehee.

-*-

The interior reminds me a lot of the cushion from L, the white blue sponge, the design of the product and the theme of using cushion.

-*-

Below are the details about the product and ingredients:

-*-

The soft cushion is colored in Natural Beige, the staff on Etude House Mal Taman Anggrek told me there's only two shade available here, this is the lighter shade than the other, the tone suits me and my sister well.

-*-

The cushion is juicy and contain a lot of cream in one 'push'.... may I say push?! Push? Dab? Or puffing action?! Anyway, it can pick up an enough dose of product to the skin in one go.

-*-

I feel an instant coolness on the skin when using it, the feeling is comfortable, the coverage is medium and build-able with a natural finish and light sensation on the skin with no cakey, no blotch, no discomfort while using it for around 8 hours.

-*-

I can just put on loose powder and decorative makeup right after using the Any Cushion. I thought everything when well, until, I went home and clean it up with my usual makeup remover. I've noticed there's some inflammation on my skin. Not a huge one, more like 1-2 mm on some area such as below the eyes (or upper cheeks) and the skin feels weird. 2 days later a few acne grow on my right cheek, below lips and the skin finally doesn't feel bumpy anymore.

I thought, maybe it's just me, so I asked my sister to use the product for at least 6 hours like I did, she uses it for 8 hours, and when she cleaned it up she didn't feel any bumps or inflammation but 2 days later some acne grew on her nose.

Hmm, I don't think I will use this product anymore due to my experience, but hey, result may vary to different people, right?! Perhaps try a sample before buying the product.

Healthy Face Movement with Etude House

Hi everybody,

in terms of participating for Etude House Indonesia newest campaign where the theme is Healthy Face Movement, I'm creating 3 video respectively.

The first video is about basic skincare, cleaning the face before skincare is put on and some tips from me as well, here it is:

-*-

After the skincare is setting down, I'm starting with the base using CC Cream and BB Cream Cotton Fit from Etude House Family. It is a very easy and simple look which is suitable for a daily activity. I think anyone can create this kind of makeup look.

-*-

Most of the video or vlog is about creating a look and not teaching us about cleaning it. The 3rd video is about removing makeup. My tips is always start with the toughest makeup like the ones that are waterproof and on delicate areas, such as eyes with many waterproof makeup: mascara and eyeliner. Remover for the eyes can be used for the lips as well, especially for those using waterproof lip colors which has become a trend again recently.

-*-

Thank you, I do hope you enjoy the videos and the tips as well. Never forget that the skin need to breath, so try not to use makeup all the day. Once in a while, let them feel the air ^______^

Check out: https://www.facebook.com/etudehouseindo for more information regarding Healthy Face Movement.

Etude House BB Cream Cotton Fit and CC Cream

Hi girls,

these two items is from Etude House from their recent campaign.

They are the CC and BB Cream, perhaps most of you already know about the product, on this post I'll share the differences and how to use each item correctly like suggested by Etude House Indonesia.

-*-

Both contain SPF 30/PA++ the packaging is still in the pinkish shade, I do think a lot of Etude products are using pink colors from the palest one to the boldest.

-*-

All details are available at:

http://www.etudehouse.co.id/

(let me warn you, the official website is a bit difficult to navigate)

-*-

I did tried the products during the event and share an after image (below). The skin become lightly covered without being too much, the CC Cream helps correct the skin while the BB Cream Cotton Fit make a powdery finish which perhaps suitable for those with normal-oily skin type.

-*-

(After using CC Cream, BB Cream, Powder, and other makeup such as blush on, eyeshadow, and so on)

Since on the event the schedule and timing given is too tight to take pictures of step by step guide, below you'll see the texture, actual products and effect on the skin before blended in on the skin.

-*-

The BB Cream is in Light Beige and the CC Cream is #2 Glow, but both have the purpose of giving the skin a fairer and brighter effect.

-*-

I really like the pearly glow on the tubes, they look super pretty, I think somehow it does resemblance the effect on the skin. My skin does become glowing in a light luminescence pearls radiant. Not too much, just enough. The BB Cream is almost like any other BB Cream that gives light-medium coverage on the skin with the tone like skin, but the Cotton Fit feels airy, not sticky, suitable for daily use since the SPF 30/PA++ also beneficial for the skin as well.

-*-

The skin colored cream is the BB Cream while the white one is the CC Cream. Clearly seen they are both different products made for different function. The staffs at Etude House Indonesia said it is best for the CC Cream to be used little by little as it immediately increased the skin fair level. My tips: The CC Cream can be used on several areas only to help gently highlight the area such as the cheek bones, nose, chin, and forehead.

-*-

Both have a light creamy texture. Easy to be used and easy to be blended on the skin. Always use them on cleaned moisturized skin, wait 15 minutes after using skincare before using the CC Cream then the BB Cream. Both can be used alone or CC Cream first to boost up the skin fairness and followed by the BB Cream to even out the skin tone.

-*-

These are the images after being spread but not yet blended in. The CC Cream have particles that make the skin looks glowing, some people may like it from the mildest level while some (perhaps during a show) like it more. For daily look I think the BB Cream is enough, for special occasion CC Cream plus BB Cream will help to create a lovely look, soft, mildly dewy, and prettier too.

Top it off with a light loose powder and a very beautiful base is done. It's very simple and easy to use yet give the skin a wonderful effect. Please do trial and error to see the reactions of the CC and BB Cream on each individual skin to get the 'right' effect.

Remember to always clean your makeup when you day is over with a makeup remover, CC and BB Cream are considered makeup.

Etude Beauty Carnaval (June 2013)

Hi girls,

last weekend beauty bloggers are invited for an event with Etude called, Etude Beauty Carnaval. Held at the atrium of Mal Taman Anggrek, it took all the center stage with most of their fluffy pink decor.

-*-

Everything looks so sweet and I want to take a bite on everything there \^0^/ from the delightful packaging to the sugary names, Etude know how to tease a girl or at least the girl inside every woman.

-*-

The venue is packed with female from pre-teens to adulthood. It is definitely irresistible. I truly wish they would make a bigger one next year outdoor, with more of these delightful pinky thingy.

-*-

Soon, an hour for the beauty bloggers started, they gave us a makeup demo with the help of a Korean Makeup Artist from Etude, the look for this season is something resembling sparkling candy. Using the CC and BB Cream from Etude for a light coverage and glowing effect, the model now has a Korean look we've seen on most Korean Drama ^__^

-*-

The look is a bit romantic and embracing a sweet innocent look. Now, it's time for the bloggers to compete against each other to create the look that inspire by the theme using all the products provided by Etude.

The main item is: The CC Cream and BB Cream!!

-*-

The definition of Etude CC Cream is Care and Correct with 8 in 1 function. It comes in two variation, Silky and Glow. Mine is in Glow. The product claim to be anti-aging, stress relief, hydrating, whitening, give the skin sun protection and tone up the skin, plus adding a smooth texture and luminosity.

Both BB Cream Cotton Fit and CC Cream contain SPF 30/PA++, the BB Cream Cotton Fit also helps in whitens the skin with an anti wrinkle look and anti-darkening. It comes in several skin tone, mine is Light Beige 02.

-*-

This is my before look, no makeup on, the skin start clean and fresh. Below is the products given as the makeup, sadly most of them are in really bad shape, used, uncleaned sponges, brushes and puffs, broken pencils, etc. It's a good think I brought my own brushes for just in case, and they really come in handy.

-*-

Within 30 minutes we have to create a look, hence sorry for not giving you step by step images as it is quite a rush, and hmm, I have to borrow some of the makeup from the surroundings too, it's like every 3 people we can find one decent product to be used together. I really hope they'll put more effort in providing the materials in the future.

-*-

Here's my after look. I'm focusing in creating a flawless dewy look with more radiance and those cotton candy kiss on the cheeks.

-*-

The lips is juicy and the eyes get enough attention without being too much.

Soon, it's time for the judges to deliberate, they gave us tips in how to use the products and do the makeup look. Here's some of it:
1. When applying CC Cream, do it little by little and avoid using the cream too much as it lightens the skin in an instant.
2. Apply BB Cream Cotton Fit afterwards without being too much as well.
3. Use a powder lightly dusted, so the 'glows' wont be covered.
4. Korean are a huge fans of straight, thick eyebrows so try giving the brows a bushy look instead of a thin curvy line.
5. During eyeshadow application, do it in one direction, example left to right and repeating the movement left to right, don't use a swiping movement like a wiper (back and forth) as it will erased and blurred the whole thing.
6. Different face needs different 'blush on' area.

-*-

And the winners are Shella and Tia ^^ Congrats!!!! They both won hampers from Etude with lots of goodies inside the bag.

-*-

There are nail polishes as well alongside with makeup heehee, I did take a peek inside.

-*-

Thank you so much Etude Indonesia, it is a fun event and hope to see you all again real soon!!!

Etude House Bebe Foot Mask

Hi dear,

Who have chapped soles? Dry, coarse ? Or at least in desperate need of exfoliation?

Me! And I'm not in the mood (or ever) to do that dry scrubbing thingy, or having pedicured every now and then. So I try this Bebe Foot Mask from Etude House.

I've tried this kind of product before, Baby Foot. And it work so well. Too bad I can't find it here. But, Etude House is here with the Bebe Foot Mask ^0^ hopefully it works out well too.

-*-

I know how harsh can they be so I made sure I don't use this kind of product too often, for me once every 2-3 years is enough.

-*-

It's a simple product where all needed is inside the packaging and read it thoroughly. Clean the feet, dry them, open the plastic which shaped like feet and put them in. Tape it so they wont run.

-*-

Make sure the feet stay inside the plastic as long as needed but if ones happen to have allergy where the feet feels too hot, burning sensation, very itchy or other kind of discomfort, perhaps it is best to take it off and wash it away. There may be reactions that needed to be avoided and can't use this product.

Me? I'm feeling a cool slippery gel, a bit itchy but very little and it happens during the last minutes. I wash it off and dislike the acidic smell of the gel.

And I just leave them dry after a good rinsing action.

-*-

1,2,3 days nothing, on the 4th day the skin start peeling from the heels, and this image down here is a week.

It will keep on peeling for 2 weeks max (on my case) and some may experience differences. There is itchiness on day 3-4 which for me was nerve wrecking since other brand doesn't carry 'itchy' in their ingredients.

But now as remember my days back then ^^ it was quite okay and the result is a new skin for the feet, not as smooth as baby's feet but better than before. During the journey from week 1 to week 2 where there's a chunk amount of skin peeling of is quite disgusting and interesting at the same time haha. My feet feels dirty all the time as if I'm not cleaning the floor properly.

They look kinda ugly and I avoided going out for a while to their appearance. But hey, after the caterpillar stay in a cocoon, comes the beautiful butterfly ^^.

This product worth a try and suitable as a gift to any hard working mom.

Etude House Eraser Show Mascara Cleaner

Ooohhh, another product from Etude House with the theme Eraser Show.

This is a mascara cleaner, a specific product for cleaning the mascara.

I love their choices of designs, colors and even the fonts used. It's like the ultimate cuteness in terms of packaging, like there's a team of people specially form just to figure out the packaging and how to make it eye catching and so pretty ^__^

The Mascara Cleaner shaped almost like a mascara, with white liquid inside and flexible rubbery top. There's a small grids so the lashes have places to sneaks in and making sure the cleanser does the job better.

Here's a video of me using the product.

-*-

I guess it pretty sums up my review. I like the soft flexible tool and white gooey cleanser but it is still messy, visible seen on the upper lids when the cotton is cleaning the mascara, the liquid spread. But on the other hand the Mascara Cleaner does do their job well in removing the mascara from the lashes. The tools also helps cleaning the mascara all the way to the roots when usually hard to reach. The white gooey liquid is skin friendly and around the eyes too.  Perfect for specific usage, but if using a full makeup, I still prefer a cleansing oil to clean everything in a  go. Maybe I use the product when there's still some leftovers by conventional method.

Eraser Show Remover Bar

Hi everyone,

as a makeup lover, I love to try on new beauty products, including mascara. Some are excellent in doing their job while some... sucks X__x. I have to look my best on every event so perfection is what I'm looking for.

Mascara is best used in dry condition, not humid, so the liquid/cream may harden and completely dry, however some mascara couldn't stay harden/dry when exposed to the hot and humid temp in Jakarta. Same thing with sweat and tears. The result? A panda eyes, where the mascara easily smudges and well, melts. Under the eye become black and the makeup is ruin. I want to clean the area affected by the mascara only without the foundation/powder or whatever base under it.

In most cases I use tissue, but usually it will make the case even worse. I use a makeup remover and all the makeup underneath also gone, leaving the eyes area looks weird and uneven skin tone with the rest of the face.

The answer?

Eraser Show Remover Bar by Etude House.

It's like a box of cotton buds, but it have a liquid inside the transparent tube. Just open the other end and the watery cleanser will damped the bottom side and put the upper side back on. Use the damped bud to clean only the mascara on the skin (eye bag area).

Then use the dry bud to dry the skin. The remover is so gentle but effective in removing a messy mascara. The shape of the bud also suitable for small area. But I wish the tip is a bit sharper, like some cotton bud I've seen where it is a bit more like triangle or cones.

This is the result after usage. 4 images of 360 degree view, where the liquid picks up the messy mascara but only a very few makeup base. So under the eyes after being cleaned still have my foundation and some powders left.

Now, I kept the buds inside my purse/bag all the time, even though I'm running about with a melting mascara, I can clean it anytime, anywhere. May be used to clean eyeliners as well.

Haul from Multiply at Korean Noona,Kesho Shop, Rie Butik, Cosmo forBeauty and many more.

Hi everyone!

Last week for the first time I went on a haul at Multiply at the comfort of my own home. Most of the time I feel doubt in shopping online knowing some of my friends complaining about the 'bad services' given. Such as:

- after payment the online shop went mia (missing in action)
- products are fake/counterfeit
- expired goods
- lost mails?
- items seems opened and used (when payment made for brand new item)
- a very long delivery time (like a month)
and yes, still other excuses and reasons of why we shouldn't shop online . . . unless they are trusted seller, like some shops at Multiply.

How do we recognize these shops? Do we need to check on them one by one? No need!

Multiply has done it for you. Just look at the Trusted seller logo in each shop and fret not, your purchase and as a buyer, you are protected from problems that may come from purchasing online.

So when I have the chance to try shopping at Multiply, instead of shopping at one online shop, I went on several cosmetic online shops so I can 'test' how things are going there. I found the system in Multiply to be very user friendly, where usually we need to pay individually, in Multiply even thou I bought many items from different online shops, I just put them in one shopping cart and pay them all at once, no need multiple payments.

(Cherry Lip Gel Patch and Tony Moly Cat Chu Lipstick from Korean Noona)

And since I already have an account in Multiply, my address is saved as well, so I don't have to keep writing my address several times.

Confirmation are given in several different inbox message automatically. So I can check the progress one by one. Some shops response immediately, while some need 2 days.

(Etude Eraser Show Remover Bar from Rie Butik)

Cosmo for Beauty is the winner, they send me a reply almost immediately that my payment has been received and will send the product the day after.

(Egyptian Magic Cream from Cosmo for Beauty)

Petite Collection and Nadia Fashion Butik send me a JNE number the next day.

(All was done without I have to ask anything)

Then,

Nadia Fashion Butik, Petite Collections, Cosmo for Beauty and Olivianneshop sent the goods in 2 days directly to my home (very impressive).

The rest come in 2 more days (which means 4 days after payment). Korean Noona forgot 1 item and after I ask about it, they say it was oos (out of stock) and the refund is made after I give them my bank acc no. Kesho Shop also forgot to add one item I've paid and send the good the next day.

The Cherry Blossom shampoo and rinse (conditioner) smells really good and instantly turn my hair smooth and silky.

PocketBac from Olivianne
Smells really good and feels soft on the skin.
-
Everything went so well, so I made more purchases in the lingerie departments ^__^ why buying lingerie online

Etude Sweet Pink Candy Sweet Cake Fragrance and Holika Holika Smooth Egg Skin (White)

Hi girls!

This is the first time I try Holika Holika, I have mine from Priscilla, we are doing a beauty swap nowadays heehee, since I am curious about Korean products and she interested in the products I have. It's a win win situation for us, maybe you should do that with your besties as well.

From the official website of Holika Holika all the details are in Korean, basically, here are some info:

It's a facial soap made and inspired by egg to make the skin looks as smooth as egg (I guess like peeled boiled eggs) and this product have been raved by those with oily skin as it tightens the skin's pore. Help clean up the blackheads as well after several usage (like maybe 2 weeks). Use a facial cleanser daily and this cute egg-shaped will easily lather up for a smooth looking skin. Massage the lather on the skin and wait 15 minutes before rinsing off (yes, I read it on Sasa.com) and after rinsing the skin will feel tighter. So it's like a cleanser and mask in one.

.

My say:

The lather is somewhat like a glycerin soap clear at first and not much, then somewhat like shampoo, light and abundant. I applied those lather on my skin and massage it a bit. When I waited during the 15 minutes the foam feels tighter and tighter as it dries up. Literally like egg white after being foamed it will stiffed up. Really stiff. Then I rinsed it with room temperature water, and massage it again and it will lather again and appears this squeaky tight skin and hmm, where's my blackheads? Is it just me, my blackheads are away? My skin looks fairer in an instant too.

I try the soap on my dad as well, he have aging skin with oily type too. According to my dad on some part he feels sting, probably because the skin is dehydrated and irritation (from past irritation). But afterward he feels the skin tighter and help dries up a few acne he have (grown up acne).

Overall I think the product is unique, can be used as normal cleanser or cleanser and a mask (2 in 1), not suitable for those who have allergy to egg white, oily skin will cherish it as the product helps clears the skin from sebum and do a deep cleanse as well. May be used for all skin type.

The packaging alone is a winner. Egg carton and next to it is Sweet Cake Fragrance from Etude. Also adorable. It's like a lollipop.

Inside is a swirl of pink stripe smells like candy, literally like candy, or a sweet cake. This is way too sweet and girlie for me and the fragrance also last for 1 hour (max) so I gave it to my girl, she loves it :) the solid perfume is like her new toy. Smells sweet and delightful without being overwhelming. The mirror also handy, any gal would love a mirror, but it doesn't relate to the concept of solid perfume, I don't think I ever need a mirror to apply perfume . . . or do I? Perhaps the product have other function? I'm clueless as all the details are in Korean. But I'm amazed, it's like most Korean products are in this brilliant packaging, super duper cute and fun to look at.
