5 Best Face Wash For Any Skin Type

Hello lovelies,

sorry for being mia for quite some time, it's been like a down time for me. Usually on my period somehow I'm far weaker than usual, still, without further ado, collaborating with Komunitas Beauty Blogger & Vlogger KBBV in this beautiful month of January 2018, here are some of my utmost favorite face wash and I highly recommended them as it is so versatile, any genre, gender and age may use. They may are made for certain skin type but they do works on any.

-*-

Start with Clinique Liquid Facial Soap in Mild, yes it is mild, but it made beautiful bubbles and froth that cleans the skin without causing them to dry. From sensitive, dry, normal to oily skin can enjoy the cleansing ability as it is so smooth and soft. Don't underestimate the 'mildness' as it still effective and can be use as often as you want.

I let the whole family enjoy using the product and they all do enjoy it. From the kids to my husband acne and oily prone skin.

Next in line, is from my favorite brand too, which unfortunately not yet available in Indonesia, Neutrogena. It was made to wonder.

Read more here: http://whileyouonearth.blogspot.co.id/2016/12/neutrogen-deep-clean-hydrating.html

It is a liquid cleanser alright but made to amaze as we can use it on dry skin with makeups on, so it's like cleansing oil, but after letting the makeup melts, add some water and it turns into a face wash, just like any face wash it bubbles up and cleans thoroughly. Some even say that it is the best of both world as it cleanse like cleansing oil but with the squeaky clean feeling of a face wash.

Those who seeks for an all in one solution should try this product and it comes in 3 variants too for brightening, normal to hydrating.

The product comes in a pump bottle and clear gel, smells good and works well. But on some hard waterproof makeup, do clean them first using a real oily base makeup remover before proceeding to this product.

Back in the old days, there's this powder that turns into cleanser, it's kinda like detergent for the clothing :D Somehow reminds me of that (oops). But this thingy is for the face and it comes with enzyme hence it has to be kept in dry form.

Read it more here: http://whileyouonearth.blogspot.co.id/2016/07/covermark-clear-wash.html

When you are ready to use it, pour some powder on a clean hand and add a bit water to work it through. They'll bubbles up almost immediately and use that bubbles to clean the skin. By making them wet and foaming it up, we activate the product and it become ready to be used.

Now as the product has been activated, it will clean the skin all the way to the pores, and it felt so good. The skin feels very clean, if you're looking for a squeaky clean feeling and this is it. But afterwards they'll smooth the skin up and they wont feel dry.

What I love about the product is that they'll take the dead skin off too, it'll make the skin appear brighter in an instant as it take the dullness away.

Three Balancing Foam is probably the most exclusive of them all as it was made with special ingredients and smells so special too. Like a garden of citrus just bursting into my senses.

The product comes in a thick white cream and as any other Japanese facial wash, it bubbles up like whipped cream at it's peak. It lathers on beautifully, so soft and irresistible. I love it so much and everyone in the family enjoying it so much too as it works really well in cleansing the skin. They are not a makeup remover but it cleanse traces of makeup remover and daily debris in an instant. A refreshing feeling is unavoidable and I believe there's many skincare benefits as well, as the price perhaps should equivalent to the effect :D

-*-

And if you're looking for a much more friendlier price, always try a drug store brand like Kracie, Naive Aloe Vera foaming facial wash that also bubbles up abundantly and creating a soft whipped cream like foam with a faint and very subtle scent.

The cream is thick and white, kinda similar to most products that bubbles up like this, I guess Japanese people really like these kind of products that foamed up without fail, even when I turn the bowl upside down they will not fall.

There's many (like really a lot) foaming facial wash from Japan that are like this, so you can simply choose according to the budget, scent, and perhaps accessibility as they are kinda similar in terms of benefit, the fun is in the bubbles that said to clean all the way to the pores.

So there you go, from drug store to high end. From liquid to thick cream, they are all suitable for all skin type and easy to be used. We all love those bubbles in our face wash and I don't think we'll ever get over it, they are a never ending trend.

Don't forget to check out KBBV Instagram account and Rani Oktavia , she also write some of her favorites which is more suitable for those with oily skin.
Until then, see you again soon on my next post.

End of Year Party Look for IBB MUC Dec 2012

Hi everyone!

Indonesian Beauty Blogger is back with a makeup challenge \^0^/ and this December (2012) the theme is End of Year Party Look

Prices for this month will be from NYX

These are some of the stuffs I used for transforming my sister heehee, yes, my sister will be my model once again.

Thank you my dear sister ^^

First, on a cleaned moisturized skin, I applied a concealer (Shiseido) on the area affected with acne marks, redness and uneven skin tone, including the bags under the eyes. Followed by foundation from Shiseido to even out all the skin tones and set the base with loose powder from Coverderm.

The concealer is a bit darker than her original skin tone so I applied as if it was shading as well to enhance her cheek bones.

As for Coverderm Finishing Powder, the fine particles easily blend and create a natural matte finish look. May be applied right after foundation or at the end of the overall makeup to 'set' everything's up.

As usual after the base, I always more to the eye's zone, start with the brows. As she like her natural brow, trimming with a tool from Panasonic is my answer. Then draw a bit lines using Revlon and brushes the brow with mascara from Lancome.

But I recommend a tidier brow for a more 'Party Look'. For me the brow could make a big difference in one's look.

Next, is the liner. I'm trying this stickers for eyeliner, just open the packaging and stick them on the lids. Of course it's a bit tricky especially when ones doesn't have an even eyelids, like my sister, her right eyes appears bigger than the left thanks to the uneven lids.

A scotch tape may be applied before the eyeliners stickers so the eyes become even, then after sticking the stickers, use a liquid eyeliner with the same color as the stickers.

I've used Shiseido, a creamy eyeliner to help even out the sticker, there's a tiny bling on the edges of the stickers. Next time, I'll choose a bigger one.

This time, I want the eyes to be sharp and let the eyeliners get a spotlight, so no eye shadows are used.

Followed by Benefit's Duster as a highlighter only on the nose line.

A bronzer by The Body Shop and blush on by Anna Sui for her cheeks area, one for the cheek bone, and one to add a touch of rose so she wont look pale and dull.

Last? A lips sticker!

I'm so excited about this next item as it can create a difficult look which will be super duper tough using a normal lipstick and brush.

Hello! Noticed me?!

Get her hair done. attached a bling on her forehead, use a very sparkly outfit and my sister is ready for an End of Year Party!!!

My Coverderm Classic and Peptumax Anti-Wrinkle Makeup

As promised ^_^ I'm making my own version of Coverderm Classic and Peptumax Anti-Wrinkle Make Up on my own face.

Please kindly read the information regarding the products during my mom's transormation: HERE and beauty event: HERE.

And for mine, please kindly watch the video

My review:

Classic is a bit tricky at first and you might want to learn to use it first before going outside the house, color blending and mixing including shading it in the right places so it'll look natural. But despite the heavy texture the feeling on the skin is comfortable and light plus Peptumax Anti Wrinkle Make Up too.

For daily use I think Peptumax Anti Wrinkle Make Up will be enough for me, but flawless, spotless, perfect skin would still need Classic.

The scent also soft and doesn't bothers me at all (or maybe anyone). If your skin happens to be very unique, you can mix and match with various tone and products. Coverderm staff will help you through it and get that suitable shade for you.

The waterproof effect is really proven on my facial skin and on the back side of my hand, water plus soap wont make it gone, so in terms of cleansing use products for waterproof makeup. Including the one that produced by Coverderm. A good cleansing oil will help but don't forget to do double cleansing afterwards ^__^

Coverderm for 55+

Hi all!

As mentioned on my previous post regarding Coverderm, click --> HERE, now I'm making my own Coverderm before after picture, not on my skin, I add a bit of challenge. On my mom's ^__^

She is over 55, over means I'm not going to tell you the exact number, just the range ^0^ She have dark spots issues, deep wrinkles to fine lines and uneven skin tones.

The dark spots are dark enough that normal foundation won't do. And so does the lines. Let's just say my mom is not a person who like using skincare.

So let's start her coverage base with Coverderm!

I used Coverderm Classic Waterproof Concealing Foundation no 4 first by scoping a bit with the spatula and put it on the back of my hand. Then using sponge given dab it little by little on the marks, spots and wrinkle.

It might look uneven for the basic only, it's okay, keep blending it in. The foundation is very thick wait for a while for the cream to 'melt' in our skin temperature, it will help the blending process as well. Then I add Coverderm Peptumax anti wrinkle.

But since the product I have (no 13) is not in suitable tone for my mom as it is too fair I mixed it a bit with Coverderm Perfect Face no.9.

Then after carefully blend them, I apply it by spreading all over her facial skin using the sponge. The same sponge uses for the foundation.

These picture will show you her transformation. I only give her 3 items, no loose powder, or any addition whatsoever in terms of base. My mom added the lipstick and eye liner/brow pencil after it and that's all!

Coverderm was able to smoothed some fine lines, making them look less visible, the brown and dark spots are unnoticed almost at all. The skin of course become even toned and balanced between the neck, shoulder and the rest. You'll need to have trial and error first and figure it out which shade suits your skin best for a better coverage and practice do made perfect.

Now, according to my mom the foundation and overall coverage feels sticky and heavy, take note this is from someone who doesn't like to use any skin care or even the thinnest coverage. And to be fair, I'll do my share too and make a before after picture as soon as I can ^__^ so stay tune ya!

I'll make my own personal review.

For the Classic range they have 14 shades and so does some other products which means you get so many options regarding skin tone colors. You can also mix it a bit of you want something that exactly your skin tone, perhaps you have a very unique skin color.

This is Coverderm Classic, waterproof and provide maximum coverage for any skin imperfection. It's really thick alright and I was told to use little by little.

This is Perfect Cover, also available in 14 shades. A liquid version for a less problematic skin.

Then the one to be used under the eyes. Or actually any part that need a bit coverage. It comes in shape like lipstick for easy application.

Then the loose powder, where they are very light and handy for any coverage done. Giving the skin a matte look too for a more natural look.

They do have many shades don't they?! ^__^ Which one is yours? From the creamiest texture to liquid or the one that is the driest to the watery. Any coverage medium you want.
