The Saem Gold Snail Lip Gel Patch

face mask has been part of our routine nowadays, some use it on weekly, bi-weekly or even daily basis. Now, there's a lot of brands that produce lip mask, some works really well and some doesn't.

This one is not really working for me.

The patch doesn't really stick properly on my lips, and the gel is too much like agar than jelly, hence a bit too stiff as a lip mask, or any kind a mask on a not flat surface. It does stick well on the wall thou', but the lips surface is not a wall, it has curves and lines. It should've been better.

And I feel a bit itch on the upper lips upon usage, on that account, I think the product it not suitable for me.

It was hard to keep the patch on it's place. They may look super cute with the pinks and golds, but like said above, the product didn't work on me. I have dry chapped lips, the moisture does come to my lips but it was only for a while and that itchy feeling is not comfortable.

I think I rather use olive oil and sugar to scrub the lips and made them smooth again, and use a honey to create plump effect from the nourishment.

Too bad, I was expecting something more from the product, so far other The Saem products has been so good, I hope they improve the formula and texture of this one.

The quality of the tissue is very nice, almost like a thick cloth, comfortable to be used and soft too. It cleans well, makeup, even waterproof makeup too. It is perfect for those who are busy and looking for a quick fix at night time when you have barely enough energy to go to bed.

As seen, it cleans thick foundation, lipstick, eyeliner, mascara, base makeup, and cream eyeshadow.

So easy and simple, cleans everything it touches and doesn't make the skin dry. It's so slippery good as well.

Overall,

a simple cleansing wipes for the skin, it cleans everything including hard core makeup and doesn't make the skin dry. The after feeling is also pleasant, no need rinsing and I can just apply skincare afterwards.

The Saem Perfumed Hand Clean Gel

this is a Perfumed Hand Clean Gel in Grace Peony by The Saem Indonesia.

It's a hand sanitizer that works as a cleanser and perfume for the hand as well. I've been using it with the family for weeks now and loving it especially during traveling. The small tube packs a punch cleaning the skin 99.9% bacteria free and leaves a traces of peony aroma that last... for a while heehee, more like 5-10 minutes.

The formula is gentle enough to be used on kids, just make sure to be careful and use it as a hand sanitizer, apply almond size and rub thoroughly on the hands until they are completely dry. NOT to be eaten or digested as it is.

The pink gel may look cute and smells good but it is not food, let your kids know and understand that before using the product.

I do recommend using the product often especially after using the public toilets. In Japan, people are used to take things to the next level, by washing the hands with water and soap first, dry them and then continue with the hand sanitizer for a much more hygienic result.

The Saem Gold Snail Bar

This is Gold Snail Bar from The Saem.

Like the name itself, the product contain gold and slime from snail, also olive oil, promote hydration and cleansing as well on the skin.

The product comes in a golden wrapping and it's in a bar.

When opened, the bar smells so good and I can see the glittery gold all over the surface. I hope the golds are all over the bar in and out.

The bar is super easy to be lathered and I'm still using the foam net for that fluffier foam. It cleans the skin nicely and gently. The skin become firm right after cleansing and it does has that slightly squeaky clean feeling, so those who have dry skin may not be able to use it as often as normal-oily skin condition.

Beside the facial skin, I'm also using it to clean my neck and body too as the formula is far more gentle than regular body soap and the body skin feels good using it.

It is a perfect cleanser for those with sensitive skin as well, so far my husband with acne prone and oily skin also using the product and have no complain at all. In fact, almost everyone in the family has been using that soap and we like the clean feeling and firmness it gives to the skin.

The Saem Eco Soul Gel Lasting Eye Tint

Hello lovelies!!

This is Eco Soul Gel Lasting Eye Tint from The Saem.

A cool product that can act as an eyeliner, eyeshadow base and eyeshadow.

Comes in 10 shades, the product claims ti stays all day and giving the area applied a moisture 50% more.

One applicator can act thinner and thicker depends on the side of wand used. I can also use a brush to help applied them thinly.

Below is the color and the wand. Look at the texture, looks creamy and light at the same time. It's a gel.

And the wand itself comes with a soft spongy like tip that feels smooth on the eyelids.

I actually fell in love with the color from the first time trying the product during the Grand Re-Launching of The Saem at Lotte Shopping Avenue, they have 10 gorgeous colors from blue, red, white, pink and all so sparkly and pretty, but somehow Candy Coral strike me the most.

Using the product also so easy.

Dab them a bit on the eye lids and gently 'tap-tap' using the index finger to help spreading the formula onto the lids.

I can add some more on area I want to accentuate, like in the middle for added 'gloss' and color.

Same goes with the other eye and I'm done. This year trend is actually pastel and somehow baby pink and baby blue doesn't suits me well, I love coral, glad I'm choosing this shade.

The Saem Saemmul Wrapping Tint

Hello lovelies!!

Months ago, Korean start a new frenzy in the beauty world, wrapping tint. A lip color that comes in a form like a sticky glue that dries up and stain everything it touches.

By this point, I'm also wondering why not just using a lip stain and avoid the hassle >.~

Still, I'm eager to try.

The product comes in 4 shades, this bright red (mine), orange, deep red and pink.

The 15g tube is small but enough for around 15-20 applications.

-*-




The texture is rather thick and not easy to be applied on the lips thinly, so just go for it and aim thicker, fuller lips. You can also applied the product on the inner side only or like me, all the way.

Applied, wait until completely dry (around 5-10 minutes, the dryer the condition the faster it dries up as well) and try stretching your lips by saying Aaaaaahhh and it will comes off easily, just pull the rest gently. When you applied the product thick, it is easier to pull as well than when applied thin.

I also found the 'before peel' appealing. So dark and sexy.

Kinda like using a peel off mask for the lips.

And below is when everything is off completely, leaving the lips in a hint of red color and like a stained lips.

Does it act better than lip stain? Well, a bit, the color is penetrated 'deeper' into the lips and stays on longer. The uniqueness of the product is of course the peeling process it self that reveals smoother lips as well as a stained lips.

I would love to use them before being peeled and peel it right before eating for that 'sensation' from the onlookers.

The Saem Magic Gloss Tint

Here's another post review for The Saem, Magic Gloss Tint. A product which I think has become a must have item. Why?

It's a clear gloss tint that turns into a lovely pinkish color and when the gloss is wiped off, the stain remains.

When first applied, it was clear for a mere second, and the color will transform into bright pink, when kept added on the 'pinkness' will get bolder and bolder.

The liquid itself is like most gloss, watery and a bit sticky. Feels slippery smooth on the lips. The wand is a cute rubbery rectangle that is clear too. The finish of using the Magic Gloss Tint alone is suitable for daily natural look.

You can also add Magic Gloss Tint on top of other product, like lip stain, lipstick or liquid lipstick for a gloss and a hint of fresh pink shade.

The gloss last as long as a couple of hours or as soon as it's wiped. The tint however, last longer, from couple of hours to almost half a day when applied a lot.

Overall,

a good to go lip gloss that provide tint, color and gloss at the same time. The 'pinkness level' is made according to your own lips / temperature. It is a wonderful addition to my everyday makeup collection as a must have item in the purse for a quick touch up that perks up the whole look. No one could resist a fresh pink gloss on their lips.

The Saem KokKok Cushion Spring Tint

after 2 weeks hiatus, I'm finally back on my blog ^__^ seems like this year's holiday is something I needed.

Trying new things and exploring new possibilities is always fun, like trying Kok Kok Cushion Tint. The first lip color product with semi matte finish and cushion intact.

Soft lip tint that's directed the trendy merging pat lips lips! Saemmul Kok Kok Cushion TintMine is PK01 (the product itself comes in 8 shades, from red, pink, and oranges)

One side provide color and the other is the cushion. The cushion itself is used to create that lovely gradation for the lips. Korean loves their lips in bold color at the middle part only and the outer lips are almost none.

But I prefer my lips full with this tone, perhaps since it is delicate enough. Bold colors such as red can look a bit ravishing and strong, gradation would be perfect for daily use. Still, the choice is yours.

The Spring Tint in PK 01 is matte on my lips. The texture is like a pastel crayon, so soft and smooth when used on the lips. The staying power is good but doesn't stay a chance when eating and drinking. They still smudge as well. When re-apply, make sure that the lips are thoroughly cleaned, since layering the lips on an uneven lips will create that bumpy look on the lips.

The product also wonderfully pigmented that shows it color in low lights as well.

The coverage is good, able to cover dark lips, uneven lips tone and I don't  have to use a lip liner prior usage, do keep the tip 'sharp' for a more precised application.

Below is the swatch, the raw and after being cushioned. It created that tinted look. Soft and perfect for those looking for a gradation or natural looking lip color.

The cushion itself feels good on the lips, like a sponge made for lips.

Overall,

a pretty product consist of lip color in semi matte to matte with dual end. One for the tint and the other is the cushion. Easily layered on clean lips for a build-able intensity and when using the cushion it add another dimension of colors from tinted, faded to lightly colored.

Before I went to the event last Saturday, around a week before, I met the Brand Director at one of their store which is located in SOGO Kelapa Gading Mall. I've played and take a sneak peak on their products. Many of them are unique and fun. Most of all, their prices are comfortable for the budget.

A lot of Korean brand cosmetic comes with a hefty price tag when they reach Indonesia, hence so many online shops offer a much more lower price, with The Saem, I think they are going to bring a healthy competition to the market. For consumer? A gorgeous Korean product that comes in reasonable price, hooray!!!

Above is the swatch of their gel lasting eye tint, it's an eyeshadow that comes in a creamy gel formula. Easy to blend and last longer than many powder eyeshadow. The color is so pretty, choose from the 10 shades and soon I'll be sharing my review on one of their shade.

These are the creamy blush, they are creamy and comes in a good pigmentation. It blends well on the skin with powdery finish. The one at the far right is  the powder formula, compare the differences below. If you prefer a more soft blush, opt for the powder, and it you're looking for a more than just a hint, pick the creamy formula.

Ta da!!! And yes, I want them all, don't you?! Look at the image below, their products looks so cute, comes in many colors and the packaging is sweet and girly too. I find them beautiful, colorful and looks dependable.

Their texture are light, comfortable and suitable for tropical climate. Nobody wants a heavy creams, we always opt for a lighter and more friendlier formula for the hot and humid weather here.

These are perfect.

Same goes with their serums too, we can simply choose according to our skin concerns.

Beside skincare and makeup, they also have hand sanitizers called Hand Clean Gel that comes in a scented formula. They smell so good!!

This is the first time for me to try on a hand essence, the texture is lighter than hand cream and absorbed faster on the skin with a gentle touch of hydration.

I can't help but tried them all, heehee, it may be just a teeny tiny bit, but they do make me wants more. Since they are just freshly done, most of the tester are new, I can try on the lipstick directly on my lips =^___^=

I love the color!! Super pretty!!

One of the coolest item is this clear glossy tint.

It looks so clear and like any other gloss.

But when used, look at the pink swatch at the left side (the right one is another tint in color), that pink glossy is the clear tint we see above. So when it touches the skin, it changes color.

They are gel at first, but melts like dew on the skin, so cool and smells good too. It helps cleans the skin from germs, if you're a mall lover like me, these gels are the must. Use it everytime after touching items in public area such as door knobs, escalator hand rails, lift buttons, and before meals.

The powder is soft and delicate enough but still buildable if I want more pinkness hue.
