Masker rambut alami yang dibuat khusus untuk rambut kering ini mudah sekali dipakai. Karena metodenya sama dengan semua masker rambut, jadi cukup cuci rambut with shampoo, so just shampoo your hair, and then towel dry, alias masih lembab, jadi bukan basah yang menetes-netes ya. Aplikasikan masker rambut alami ini ke seluruh rambut kamu. Menurut @shopastelle boleh banget kena kulit kepala.

Tapi saranku, jika kulit kepala kamu sudah normal ke berminyak, cukup puas-puasin di rambut aja ya.

Varian masker rambut alami ini ada apa aja? Ada Milk alias susu (buat rambut yang sering dicatok), strawberry (sering terpapar matahari), green tea (rambut rapuh dan rontok), Grape atau anggur (memperkuat akar), Cocoa ( melembutkan dan sensasi relaksasi), coffee alias kopi (yang mengatasi rontok dan menyuburkan rambut), dan peppermint (yang mengurangi ketombe). Nah, karena aku review masker rambut yang melon, aku akan kembali fokus pada melon ya hehehe, tapi kurang lebih kalian sudah tau ya kalau varian Juliet bukan cuma melon aja, tapi masih banyak masker rambut alami yang lain.

Tekstur masker rambut Juliet seperti apa sih? Creamy, alias seperti krim yang lembut dan nyaman buat dipakai. Biasanya aku pakai sekitar 1 sendok nasi hehehe, 1 centong gitu, since my hair is actually not long, tapi aku suka sensasi seperti creambath. Sambil aku massage alias pijat-pijat rambut dan kulit kepala.

Aroma buah melon yang segar juga bikin proses memanjakan rambut semakin nyaman. 1 jar ini bisa awet untuk pemakaian sebulan untuk rambut aku, dengan catatan pakai seminggu sekali sampai 2 kali. Tapi semua tergantung pemakaian dan lebat/panjangnya rambut kalian ya. Intinya semua sesuai kebutuhan deh.

Biasanya setelah selesai aplikasi, aku cepol rambut aku keatas seperti gambar dibawah ini biar masker rambutnya lebih terserap, aku pakai shower cap. Bisa juga pakai handuk panas seperti pada saran pemakaian. Aku pribadi cukup pakai shower cap. Nanti uap alami tubuh bisa bantu menghangatkan dan proses penyerapan juga bisa terjadi.

Setelah 30 menit, aku bilas dengan air hangat dulu, dipijat dengan lembut agar mudah terurai. Since the texture is rather creamy and thick, it is best to be gentle and take your time. Nanti rambut akan terasa amat sangat lembut dan mudah dibilas. For you who have oily roots can shampoo their roots once again, aku coba teknik ini dan rambutku tetap lembut loh, jangan khawatir, efek Juliet Hair Mask Melon ini tetap terasa di rambut.

Rambutku jadi mudah disisir dan wangiii. The smell of melon aroma is so addictive, bawaannya jadi pengen cium rambut terus.

Setelah pakai masker rambut Juliet melon, rambut aku jadi terlihat lebih glossy dan gak kering-kering amat. Maklum setelah bleach dan curling, pasti rambut rusak, tapi ini jadi terlihat lebih sehat dan hidup. Gak kering grontang lagi.

Dan kalau mau, masker rambut alami ini juga bisa dipakai sebagai pengganti conditioner, tapi saranku tetap berikan waktu untuk penyerapan ya, jangan buru-buru dibilas.

Cheveux Apricot Ice Tea Shampoo and Mojito Scented Hair Mask

months ago, I went into this bazaar at one of the mall in West Jakarta. As usual, there's local brands that we can only see in Instagram. Their name is unique and the products seems fresh. Cheveux means hair in French.

Raspberry = untuk rambut lepek dan rontok pada kulit kepala berminyak. . Mojito = untuk kulit kepala yang sensitif, mengalami kerontokan berkelanjutan dan berketombe. . Apricot Ice tea = untuk rambut berwarna ( mempertahankan coloring ) , dan mengalami banyak proses kimia ( kriting bonding ). . Watermelon = untuk rambut yang super kering dan sangat kaku.

Aside from the cool details of the products, they also come sin this lovely new scents like Apricot Ice Tea and Mojito that I bought. Still, the fact that they don't contain paraben nor sulphate, they still have silicone.

So, I kinda focusing my review for this post on the mask. I know that the mask is said can be used for the scalp but since it has silicone, I avoided using them in the scalp as silicone in the long run blocked the roots of the hair. Same goes with the shampoo, I use it on my hair and use another shampoo for the scalp.

The details on the packaging is cute, the words somehow lures me to have them everyday. And the smell, oh they really good. The Apricot Ice Tea is fresh, fruity and and tea like, so it's pretty much like an apricot ice tea, kinda sweet and fruity at the same time, I love it.

The texture of the shampoo is a creamy gel, feels soft and lathers quite well, not abundantly like detergent or a very foamy shampoo but quite nice. The clean feeling is not really felt too, perhaps due to the silicone, so it is more to the slippery side than squeaky clean. I wish the milky orange shampoo could perform better in cleaning the hair. Usually, I need to use it twice to get near the clean feeling I desire.

The scent however, smells so good and I wish it last longer too, they last around a couple of hours, not bad thou' and if I want, I can simply purchase their hair perfume to make the scent last longer.

And here's the texture of the creamy, juicy, citrus-y mask.

The color is milky yellow and the richness can be felt the minute I looked at it. Even thou' it's rich, it's light at the same time, doesn't add weight on the hair.

Like said above, since I'm using it for the hair only, I wont review the feeling on the scalp.

The mask, again, is emphasizing on the scent rather than function on the hair. The effect is similar to using a conditioner. Made the hair softer and easier to comb with an airy feeling. Mojito itself is a drink well known for being maxed up with citrus, mint and so deliciously fresh, hence, using the same concept, the scent is like that too, I find it harder to resist.

The effect on a severely dry and damaged hair is not really significant, but in boosting my mood, they are so good. Imagine going back after a long day at work, feeling the urge to cleanse and find this in the shower room, it lifted me up.

Overall,

A good start for a good hair product, I hope they remove silicone and add more variants to their hair care collection.

Schwarzkopf Extra Care Hair Total Repair 19 Mask

Hello lovelies,

as someone who loves changing hair color, for sure damage is part of it. As I love colorful hair, I also love to took care of them and make them stronger, healthier, and shinier too.

Masking the hair, conditioning, using serums and leaves in has been my daily routine, so when perhaps others are stopping on shampoo and conditioner, I continue with tonic, hair serum and so on. Using the mask every two days also has become one of my key note as it helps build my hair's strength little by little.

Some of you perhaps wondering, why keep on coloring the hair if it's damaging, the thing is, it is not the coloring, it's the bleaching process, so as long as the bleached has been done, the hair is already ruin and left exposed. Colorant like Manic Panic or Hair Manicure is actually 'treatment' as in sealing in the hair with colors. That's why hair that just been colored feels smoother, softer and shinier, while after a while, those colors wont last (since the bleach damaged the hair and made them fragile and like an open pores) so another coloring process need to be done, hence many people that have colored their hair, must continue to do so using pure acid color. No need to re bleach on each coloring session.

Maintaining the hair on the other hand have to be done continually and non stop. Some hair treatments actually strip colors too, so choose products that really color friendly. In the end, it's kinda a battle between treating the hair of let it be, for me, I think I'm gonna keep using these mask as it helps build the strength of the hair, I might need to recolor faster than it should be, but I'm okay with that.

The product comes in a tube, yellow slightly golden in color and inside, the thick white fragrant cream. It is creamy and rich, pretty much satisfying in terms of texture. I use it on my shampooed and toweled dry hair, using around half the palm for my mid length hair all the way to the ends. Avoiding the roots at all cost as it is made for the hair and not for the scalp.

The rich cream sticks to the hair, it hold on to them and wrap them in moisture. I let them sit there for around 20 minutes, just tied a knot on my hair and continuing my activity at home. It becomes drier, like using a face mask that become more dense, this one too.

Then I rinsed everything off with tepid warm water, the masking has made my hair soft, silky and smooth, I can easily brush my hair afterwards. Drying them using a hairdryer is an experience on it's own, like the heat from the hairdryer intensify the perfume, the hair smells so good. Each strand like coated by the nourishment but without weighting it down, if you feel like your hair becomes limp or lifeless, perhaps it's due to not enough rinsing.

I'm definitely continue to use the mask on regular basis, it helps my hair and helps me de stress too looking at my hair becomes stronger.

So far no cons, so, I definitely recommend the hair mask to just about anyone. Normal hair? Use it like 1-2 a month to maintain the hair condition. Dry hair? 3-4 times a month, and severely damaged hair like me? 2-3 times a week until the condition improved.

Matrix Biolage for Colored Hair

Matrix Biolage is here with hair care products worth trying for. Being bleached, colored and (stupidly) perm the hair recently, means my hair is not just overly processed big time but the dryness level is on the peak. I can't even keep a color last longer than a few weeks since it was too damaged. Not that I'm a quitter, I want to color my hair again with some deep colors but for now, maintenance is much needed for sure.

The first thing I've tried is the  conditioner. It's a white creamy like texture (like most other conditioner) with a pink floral scent that I like. I thought it is similar to any other conditioner on the market but this one has an upgrade. The longer I left it on the hair after shampooing, the more it does magic to my hair, made them soft and smooth once again. At least until the next wash.

The scent does last too, made my hair smells fragrant all day long.

Adding the serum right before hair drying also helps. It made my hair stays in better shape. Usually, my hair looks so dry and becomes more brittle after wash since the hair is cleaned and there's less moisture intact, clean for sure, but stripped as well.

Deep Smoothing Serum made my hair shines and even though it was oils, my hair doesn't become oily nor greasy. I use the product when my hair is still damp (after shower) around a quarter size. It penetrates into the hair making them smooth and frizz free.... for normal hair, for me, less frizz for sure.

For those who happens to suffer (made/causing/dig your own grave) very dry hair can also use it as a pre-care routine. Apply as many as you want onto the hair (avoiding the scalp by far) and leave them as long as possible on the hair. For me 1-2 hours does the trick. And then go to the shower and shampoo the hair like usual, use favorite conditioner and dry like usual using a bit of the serum again. The unbearable smoothness will be felt immediately, the shine and the fondness of keep playing with the hair. And of course, they'll smell so good too.

Ooh now the Mask, the one that I think made a bigger impact and better conditioned as it has thicker, creamier and heavier creams, it's like the concentrated version of the conditioner. I'm using this one for almost everything. I can use the product everyday or any time I want that extra smoothness and silkiness of the hair, smells so good, like the floral in the conditioner but intensify, the scent last until the next day, even when facing public transportation (in Singapore). The silkiness does last all day long too, they are not just coating but help bringing strength to the hair and vitality too. My hair looks dead on most days, but whenever I use these babies, they look alive and well, no one thinks that they are damaged enough.

On daily basis, or special occasions (means, when I have the time), I put on some mask right after shampooing, wrap them on a plastic wrap or shower cap and leave them as long as possible. Above 15 minutes is best even thou' it is said to be 3-5 minutes. I find them deeply penetrating into my hair and transforming them into live.

The colors look vibrant, the flexibility or elasticity of the hair increases, it becomes better and far less breakage. Everything is visible and noticeable, I guess when it comes to hair mask, this one is definitely good and worth purchasing.

The thick white cream is easy to be used, and I like using them before going for a dip too in the pool. The water in most swimming pool causing the hair (everything) dry, hence getting a pre-care is important for my oh-so-brittle hair. The perm really does it this time, I guess bleach and perm should not ever be done (again) on the hair.

After slathering some of the creams on my hair, focusing on the ends and avoiding the scalp. I leave them on for around 30 minutes before going into the water. The hair get the pre-nourishment it deserves to survive. After the swim and wash, my hair doesn't feel as dry as usual, it is still manageable and feels comfortable to be in.

I do clean by using the appropriate shampoo plus the conditioner by Matrix Biolage ColorLast, and when I have more time, I can simply add the mask again, and it seals the deal. The hair serum can be used as well before swimming and after.

One thing for sure, now that I'm using the trios, I'm not that worry about my lifestyle and daily activities. I can still color my hair and swim as much as I want and let Matrix Biolage ColorLast took care the rest. My hair stays smooth, softer, and silky, on some point, where I though it was no where near possible, they even shines.

Milbon Deesse's Series

For those who are following on instagram must have known my recent cravings, hair care products.

Milbon recently made it to Indonesia, I know them from my recent trip to one of Japanese salon in Senopati area, they are using Lingkage series specially made and used for salon or professional. It helps my hair tremendously, from being super duper dry and coarse to smooth and silky.

And now, I'll share with you that they also have products to be used at home on our own. It can be purchase from salons and do check out more details regarding Milbon Indonesia on their instagram account.

Their products that have made it to Indonesia are from Deesse's Series, consist of Neu Deu, Linkage and Elujuda. In this post I'll share a bit of my review using Neu Deu and Elujuda.

Hmm, where do I start?! Let's begin with Neu Deu. Shampoo and treatment care to be used at home, divided into SilkyLuxe for thin hair, WillowLixe for normal hair, VelourLuxe for rough and thick hair.

Elujuda also consist of several type, but instead of 3, the products only divided into two categories, thin hair (FO and emulsion) or normal to thick (MO and emulsion).

And one of the best part of their products are they have fragrance like notes from top, middle to base. Each of them smells so good and fragrant. You can easily noticed Neu Deu being so fruity and floral from apple, orange, grapefruit to lily, jasmine and rose with white musk at the base for shampoo and treatment (or conditioner). And the hair nutrient has aroma of lemon, mango, peach, rose and carnation. It was so good and relaxing.

The product comes in this beautiful packaging and several sizes. I think their prices are around Rp. 200.000 and above.

I'm using the shampoo and treatment on daily basis now, and I can immediately feel the differences from the first use. Most shampoo just cleans the hair, but this one makes my hair super silky. It felt surreal. When rinsed all those roughness, dry and coarse texture are gone, like my hair instantly becomes tame and manageable.

I don't even think the result could get any better, when I'm using the treatment (like using a conditioner, after shampooing the hair, rinse and then apply on the mid length to the ends) and rinse them well, it was super smooth. It is an experience that one's should try to believe it.

After using the shampoo and treatment, I can now use their leave in essence on my damp hair, right before drying.

Elujuda FO & MO, and Elujuda Emulsion.

The Emulsions are in lovely pink coral shade. One for thin hair (contain Keratin (CMADK) Baobab extract and ceramide 2) and the other for normal to thick hair (contain Keratin (CMADK) Baobab extract plus Aqua Collagen).

It has the aroma of blackcurrant, apple, citrus, rose, raspberry, and vanilla as the base.

Elujuda FO & MO in orange and yellow pump container.

They also contain Baobab, but its Baobab Oil, Argan Oil, where the yellow one adding Oil Soluble Silk PPT and the orange one using Olive Squalene.

The fragrance used are bergamot, apple, geranium, rose, jasmine and vanilla, musk and vetiver as the base.

What is the meaning of FO and MO? FO is Fluent Oil and MO is Mellow Oil. The texture is slightly different but they are both oils.

Elujuda FO & MO are oils and Elujuda Emulsion is emulsion, so it is slightly creamier. You can simply use any texture that you like, it is more to the preference. For me personally, I love the emulsion since they smells so good, more to the floral where FO & MO are more to the citrus side.

But they both works well on my hair. It felt a bit oily and creamy at first, but after a while, the hair will take the nourishment and become so soft and frizz-free.

When they are all used together, start from the shampoo, to treatment and then before drying it out, using the leave in care, it helps damaged and broken hair a great deal. Styling, combing, managing the hair become so much easier, the bonus part is that the hair become fragrant and shinier too. Like there's no damage in the first place.

I love changing hair color, changing their original texture too by perming and daily styling. It does make my hair suffer but I like to keep myself upfront of being trendy and it made me feel so good to. So now with Milbon, I can keep my 'hobby' and be confident while their products took care the damage made by those chemicals and heat from the tools.

I guess for all of you who are confused where to begin with, I think it is best to start with the shampoo and treatment on daily basis. Adding the Nutrient once or twice a week also really helps as the formula is richer and thicker than the treatment. It has the ability to transform the hair into silk like texture. If the hair was zoomed in using a magnifying glass, people could see the difference as the strands that are look like flyaway, has now smoothed out.

Bottom line,

Deesse's Series has given my hair opportunities to look great even thou it has gone through so many process and being so damaged. From frizz, breakage, dull, to brittle hair, has now become smooth, soft, manageable and so silky with aromas that I really enjoy on daily basis. It becomes my go to routine where I feel excited using the products.

1. After shampoo, dry hair slightly
2. Wear the hair cap and put all hair inside
3. Fasten the cap with sticker and massage gently to absorb rich nutrition into your hair
4. Leave on for 15 minutes and rinse the hair thoroughly
5. Try not to apply on scalp
6. Best results when used weekly

The product comes inside this cap we can simply use on the head. The creamy formula are there. They smell flowery and soft.

When using the cap, it was pretty much warm and I can't use it longer than 25 minutes, I just feel uncomfortable using it for a long period, like it was too stuffy.

The orange cap is light but perhaps since it was filled with mask (not really abundantly, suffice and cover the hair just fine) and plastic, I feel like my head can't breathe. I don't know how that made sense, but it did.

Anyway, After 20 minutes I'm taking it off and feel the air is so cool.

I rinse it off with a tepid water and feel my hair become so soft. So does the floor in my bathroom, everything feels so slippery.

I can easily comb them and enjoy my hair being tame again. No dryness felt nor looking coarse, like they are normal again.

And as usual, these kind of result is not permanent, I have to regularly mask my hair to maintain it's condition. So my hair can look like hair again and shine.

1. Peel open each pack and put on mask on each finger
2. Leave on for 30 minutes to 1 hour
3. Massage remaining liquid from mask in the fingernail area onto fingernails and fingertips after removing mask from each finger

Next in line, is their nail pack. This is unique. Most products comes in a form of a tube, cuticle formula or well, hand cream. This one is in packs where each finger gets it's own home.

Inside the white lotion is waiting, to soften and made them feel comfortable.

15-20 minutes while watching TV fly by. Since I can't use them with my smartphone hence watching TV is my only option.

This is a unique experience for sure. The lemon citrus aroma is fresh and the lotion made the nails looks shiny too. I hope it nourish my nails as I color them often.

When I took it off, there's still some lotion left and I just distribute it evenly and wait for another 10 minutes or rinse it since I kinda need my fingers. Even after rinsing, the nails and fingers which are previously inside those pack still feel so soft and smooth. The aroma is definitely gone after rinsing but the effect is still there for the whole day.

Continue with a Hand Therapy Pack. Like it's name, it was made for the hand and yes, a glove is definitely included. The hair has it's cap, the nails has their own individual packs, and for sure, the hands also has theirs.

Open it up and inside the gloves are the lotion as well. Just put the hands and fingers on every section correctly and voila, wait for 20 minutes and enjoy the delightful scent. This one is pretty fragrant.

And yes, I can't play with my smartphone when using the gloves. TV is a good option or take a nap. Waking up, open the gloves, and there's still some white lotions lefts on the skin like the image below.

Simply massage the leftovers or rinse it when you need a squeaky clean hands like I do. The skin will remain soft and smooth even after rinsing and this treatment is suitable to be repeated once a week for hands that always soft and smooth.
