Althea Angel First Box

Hello lovelies,

The beauty box has reached me some time ago and I did share with everyone through my Instagram post @Carnellin. I also share with everyone on my youtube.com/Carnellin. It's been so much easier to make videos nowadays and share it live in Instagram too heehee, I guess I did neglect my blog recently, oops sorry.

A beauty box as a welcome gift consist of 3 loose powder in beige, bright white translucent and pink lavender. There's also Milk Peel and Petal Velvet Sunaway which I made a post here (click me). I did make a video too for Milk Peel (click me), and on this post, I would like to share about my experience with all of their products.

Start from the cleansing that does help my skin to feel cleaner, smoother and does remove dull skin without pain nor discomfort. It's pretty much addictive with the bubbling effects. They kept on bursting and bubbling for endless minutes before I rinsed everything off.

The sunscreen are also helpful in terms of living in a big city like Jakarta, where it  is sunny most of the time. Heat become unbearable at times hence we need a sun protection that doesn't glare back to the sun. So being velvety, matte and naturally looking like our own skin has officially trending now. Konnyaku Shabon Konjac Soap Gold Face Wash

I found one jelly like product during traveling in Otaru, Hokkaido. It looks so cute and adorable. The shop itself is pretty small and they have two people that keep promoting the products, from lotion, serum, to konjac soap. Yes, konjac soap!! We know konjac sponge right, it's been a huge hit back then for the irresistible texture that cares the skin, now, it's soap made all from natural ingredients.

The colors are so pretty, there's pink, yellow, white, green, and mine, gold.

All made using the clear water and essential oils. Everything was handmade too.

This new groundbreaking cleansing soap, Konnyaku shabon, contains a large amount of extracts from natural konjac potato (yam). The Hakodate store carries five limited versions of the soap: Tange Weed and Gold, Melon, Peach, Beer, and Soybeans. A hint of lavender scent is added after the famous flower in Hokkaido.

Every single one of them is wrapped beautifully in a paper like cotton wrap, it's so 'Japanese', these handmade items was made with care. I was also given a lotion to try, it was so good, I wish I bought them all, from the moisturizer and not just the cleanser. Everyone in my home enjoy using the face soap, it bubbles up abundantly, using a foam net it can make that perfect foam in no time.

Using the hand it will need more time heehee, but I still do enjoy using it, the konjac texture is sooooo adorable. I like playing with it heehee, it is so bouncy and slippery at the same time, smells good too. We love how relaxing the scent is and never overwhelming.

The cleansing properties is amazing, it is clean yet gentle, but when left on the skin too long, since sometime I love using foaming facial wash as a 2-3 minute mask, some products can be as good as that, works as a cleanser and mask, the nourishment gets into the skin and the cleanliness is unbeatable. But, again, for Konnyaku Shabon, it can be a bit itchy on sensitive to dry skin, that means it helps regenerating, so on those who have dull skin, try leave the foam for a few minutes and it helps rejuvenating the skin, noticed the skin regrow faster and better too.

For me, a perfect cleansing is a start of a good skin care routine,
with a clean skin, acne can be reduced or avoided at all,
with clean skin skincare absorbed better,
with clean skin, makeup performs better too.

Overall,

A very good face wash with gold, Rishiri Kelp Gold (to be exact) that promote elasticity.

What's in it?
Gold Foil and Rishiri Kelp essence with lavender scent. Fucoidan contained in Rishiri kelp from Hokkaido and the ceramide the konjac provide moisture the skin and improve elasticity.

Easy to lather, foam abundantly and beautifully, works like a charm in cleaning the skin and making them happy. The skin is clean with soft and smooth effect all over.  Definitely recommended the soap for everyone who wants better skin condition, firming and younger looking skin.

Clymina North Yellow Cream

Hello lovelies,

a while ago during my recent trip to Hokkaido, I found this baby on as a last minute shopping venture near the airport. The product seems to be known as a souvenir from Japan and perhaps famous too since I see that there's information for it all over the store.

It was like an all in one cream but with unique texture that like a creamy gel with tiny curds. These curds will melt on the skin. Curds? Yes, kinda like that, like cheese curd on a yogurt like consistency.

And one thing that made me purchase the product is that it comes in several different variant, mine is apple and it smells so fresh and fruity.

The first function is as a lip balm. It have a smoothing effect that instantly cover the surface of the dry and chapped lips. I'm using it on my hands too as it absorb pretty fast, the skin feels moist and comfortable without any greasy effects.

What's inside the cream?

Starting with natural oleic acid and vitamin E obtained from non-pesticidal sunflower oil "Northern Yaei" in Nayoro City, honey, rapeseed oil of Anpingo town, salmon skin marine collagen, deep ocean water, pesticide herb extract, etc. Hokkaido "Clymina (Crimea)" skin care cream, which has been carefully selected with carefully selected ingredients.

And of course, the cream can be used on the face too, it provide the skin with ample nourishment, I feel kinda bad for myself, I should've purchase the bigger one. The cream made the skin feels like it was happy and well maintained without causing any side effects. I have a sensitive skin that pretty sensitive to perfume, but this one I can use with ease.

The all in one cream (all in one as if can be used for any part of the body, from face, hand, heels, elbows, to even as a body cream) is perfect for traveling too. Just bring one for the whole family as it helps any gender and kids too. I don't know about babies, but my 4 years old can use it when her cheeks felt dry when we're in the plane.

It help soothe the skin with the properties inside and the lovely green apple boost the mood too, we really like the scent. Some of the other variant too by we like green apple the best.

A small one like this cost around Rp. 100 k, so it's not really expensive product. What I love about the product is also the fact that it is a environmentally safe product made with responsible. They have this whole information on the pamphlet about the ingredients comes from local farmers and so on, it was a genuinely good product I can feel happy about whenever I'm using it.

Multi Balm Mystar Forest Series Asparagus

continuing my previous post about treasure I found in Hokkaido, this is Mystar Forest Series Multi Balm in Asparagus.

The product is sold around 1300 Yen, comes in a green top and white details written. Thank God there's some English details on top heehee. As mentioned on my previous post Japan love their Multi Balm nowadays since it is so practical and easier to be used. Lips, elbows or any parts of the skin that was dry can have benefits using the balm as it was simple and easy ti be used. A small one like like can fit into a purse and be used anytime the skin feels dry.

A moisturizing ingredient asparagus extract formulation that can be used by everyone in a casual part.

Extracted extract from asparagus raised by Takamachi Stem Aspara Producing Association "Takayaku Kitazu" It is a solid wax-like multi-cream compounded in the moisturizing ingredients. The mint is fresh and mild, so you don't have to worry about overwhelming minty like it was a medicated balm, so this Multi Balm is still about beauty.

The balm is firm, they can still melt on high temperature but so far in my room they stay as balm. On the lips the feeling in wonderful and like on the elbows too, the feeling is not sticky and comfortable. For those with very sensitive skin during winter, like on the cheeks where they can become so dry and easily irritated, apply the balm generously as it act like a shield to a damaged skin. It create a barrier which I find especially useful for the back of my hands.

I love to wash my hand every now and then and keep them clean anytime. This multi balm is rather water resistant too, so after washing my hand, I apply the balm on my hands and it kept my hands feeling clean.

On hard core areas like heels, I find it best using it right before sleeping. The healing properties is lovely while keeping the skin moist by preventing the moist goes out.

For those who use makeup might want to use it before applying any makeup and the key to apply it lightly is to let the balm be warmed on the palm of your hands.

Hokkaido Okhotsk Mystar Hand & Body Cream

these babies are my treasure during my recent trip to Hokkaido. Lately, Japan has been booming with all natural skincare products from face wash, serums, lotions to multi balm and nature infused and based on ingredients.

Famous local benefits like honey, seasonal vegetation, to fruits and flowers, many highly acclaimed crops has been used, and in this post, it would be about honey, sunflower oil, and asparagus. I'll separate the post into three, each for one product that deserve a post on its own.

I bump into these babies on a mall right next to New Chitose Airport and we were about to board that day. It's kinda a last minute shopping spree thinking that I should get some for inside the plane. It would be around 12 hours journey including transit time in Hong Kong and my skin can be pretty dry. The kids can use it too since it doesn't have known harmful chemicals. Ooh, I can go on and on about beauty products from Japan nowadays how they grow improving the local produce to home industry, it is their brilliant mind that never seize to amazed me.

They have testers on the store and when I tried them I knew I have to buy them. These are the babies, irresistible babies.

Each of them have different texture and benefits that are so beautiful while making the skin beautiful too.

Let's start with a Hand & Body Cream with honey as one of the main ingredients.

The packaging, details given on the store, are all about honey and the benefits of honey in this product. It care, nourish, and protect the skin while healing them as well. The sweet smell of honey is irresistible, I love how calming it is and made me feel comfortable. And the texture is surreal, it was one of the reason why I feel like I have to made this post, since I think it is one of my best finding. I love traveling since it made me allows meetings with these beauty products, a product that was unique, effective and healthily beautiful.

The aroma is not just honey but a bit of citrus too, so it's a refreshing addition while the texture is melting on the skin, covering, creating thin films that made my dry skin so happy and healthy. I love it, it changes my view of a hand and body cream where it becomes light, breathable, but very much moisturizing and the effect is immediate and last on the skin, it soothe and gives my skin an instant lift. That tiny cracks when the skin is super dry, are covered in a matter of seconds and looks perfectly moist once again and no residue whatsoever on the skin. Like it was drunk all at once, the formula must be so good to be so acceptable by skin.

I am using pure larch tree honey, which was honey collected in Higashi - cho, Hokkaido. It has high sugar content, it has excellent moisturizing and water retention ability, keeps the skin soft.	It is a natural origin oil purified squalene extracted from the deep-sea shark's liver. It is hard to oxidize, has high stability, keeps the skin soft and has excellent emollient effect.	It has exactly the same structure as the main component ceramid of intercellular lipid that keeps the moisture in the stratum corneum, is excellent in horny water retention capacity, and has high moisturizing effect.

I'm using it for my hands and body too. Too bad I only bought a smaller version since I'm worry about travel limitation on liquid, but I'll be sure to get some more whenever possible.

Highly recommend this product for everyone. The scent may not last for hours but the protection does, I simply use it twice a day and enjoy the benefits of a nourish skin all day long.

They sell the hand and cream for around 1500 yen, which I think so worth the price. A lot of very expensive products in Indonesia market that comes with hefty price but in so much less benefit nor quality.

Jabon No.1 Honey & Jasmine Liquid Soap

natural soaps are on the rise for the past few years, nowadays customers are aware that using harsh surfactant is indeed not good for the skin. It made them dry, cause irritation and in the long term even linked to serious health issues.

Many of these soaps are now ready as handmade items and even has become unique souvenirs during birthdays, weddings and other celebratory gatherings. And I happen to meet one during one of the event, it is Jabon by Martene.

The packaging is beautiful and looks really exclusive, I was surprise to see them. Looks like they have class on their own. I checked out their instagram account and seems like they insist of having natural ingredients and only producing in small batch.... expensive? I don't know, maybe, but they look good aren't they?!

I love the packaging, and I love what I see inside. Natural soaps ave been my interest in the past few years as my skin start to show signs of irritation. Not just soaps, I start changing my shampoo, body lotion and anything that touches the skin. It has shown effects, no longer do I have unbearable dry skin, but no psoriasis too.

Listed on the bottle is the packaging and necessary details on the product. Everything is simple yet suffice.

The product inside is a clear yellowish gel that smells really good, jasmine with a hint of honey tone, so it's not sweet, more like a floral with warmth. The products lathers on the wet skin just nice and feels light, it cleans with a wonderful slippery feeling and when rinsed off, the skin feels clean. You know sometime there's this natural products that doesn't really give me a clean feeling after using it, this one delivers.

And the scent kinda last too, love it!!

Since the product seems to be very gentle on the skin, I let the kids using it also and they seems to enjoy the product too. Many kids toiletries in the market are bombarded with harmful chemicals such as paraben and SLES, it's agonizing to let them use it, even thou they put so many cartoon character on the packaging and write it all over it was for kids, but being negligence is just not a thing anymore, we do have a choice to become wiser and give our kids what they deserve, since some of the effects are long term.

Last but not least, I'm satisfy with Jabon by Martene, their No.1 Honey & Jasmine Liquid Soap is really good, I do recommend it for anyone to try.
