these babies are the new shades from Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet. So surely, the collection itself is not new but they keep adding new shades, here they are, no. 10 and no. 19. On the website alone, their official shades are 9, so number 10 (Don't Pink of It!) and 19 (Jolie-de-vin) is a fresh new one that haven't been available in all the countries, I happen to get mine from Singapore.

I also made a video where you can see how these babies works during application, shade number 19 need layering while number 10 is easier, bold and solid from the first swipe.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fbzuF3LecH4

They are unique, even thou they come from the same brand and series, their texture could be slightly different one to another. I kinda love the both, 19 is perfect for those who are looking for gradation or doesn't really want a bold color at once, but those who want bold can simply reapply numerous time for an intense look, so you do have option. Meanwhile number 10 is suitable as it is as the color is solid as seen. No need multiple layering as a single layer covers well.

-*-

Don't Pink of It! Gives me a demure, romantic, soft and delicate pink that perfect for any day. It made my look sophisticated and  I really like that innocent vibe too.

Since the color is easy to be used and made me appear friendly, the consistency and coverage it gives also kind to me. It covers everything while making my lips looks flawless.

-*-

Meanwhile, the red one, it needs patience as layering is necessary. Oh, and they both has this distinct smell that I hate. Like it's a paint or something plus, sometime, the formula causing my lips to itch, a lot. After using it for quite some time, they somehow do, like I'm allergic or something, I don't really understand how to explain it and it's not always. But when the itch comes I just removes the lipstick and the itch is gone.

I feel fine with the rest of Bourjois products, just these two.

-*-

Aside from that uncomfortable itch, the color itself and staying power is good, I just wont be able to use them often or too long.

Does anyone from Bourjois could help me on this issue ?

-*-

Anyway, they are great for gradations too, these two together, the red one in the middle and the pink on outer layer. They can also be mixed since the setting time is quite slow. Definitely not 100% transfer-proof, still smudge a bit when kissed and especially when we eat.

Simply top it off as they doesn't crumbled like most matte liquid lipstick does but they also doesn't really 100% matte, kinda almost matte, demi matte seems to be the word.

-*-

Overall,

these babies are superb in shade and color, but the formula still needs questioning, I don't know what's wrong, maybe I use some cleanser in between that contradict with the ingredients.

The container is short like lipstick and not long like most liquid lipstick, the wand is rather firm and definitely not flexible, with angle that fit the lips and easy to be maneuvered. The scent definitely need improvement but the smooth and creamy texture is spot on.

Bourjois Little Round Pot

Hello lovelies,

I love blushes, they add color to my cheeks and made a look become more alive, prettier and just too hard to resist.

-*-

http://www.bourjois.co.uk
Our timeless blusher has been around for almost 150 years and have made Bourjois famous worldwide thanks to its amazing texture and packaging.
The baked texture transforms when applied to the skin into an ultra-fine pressed powder, which is easy to apply and blends impeccably. One stroke of the brush reveals the irresistible aroma of the rose scented powder.
Its built-in mirror and brush is perfect for touch-ups on the go!
The Little round pot blush exists in 12 shades to match all skin tones.

For a natural result, smile and apply the blush on your cheekbones with circular movements. Then stretch up to the temples.
If you applied to much, don’t worry; just apply a coat of powder on top of it!

-*-

The powder is fine, the rose shade is pretty. Mine is number 34, Rose d'or.

There's a small mirror and brush under the blush, so even thou' it is petite, it got everything we need for application.

-*-

The mirror is cute, but the brush is just a bit too harsh for my cheeks.

The powder is fine and the color is just lovely, the rose have a hint of glows. The scent is powdery and I find it a bit too perfumey, perhaps I didn't like the scent and it is personal indeed. It's not strong, it's just not my taste.

-*-

I like the fact that it comes in many different shades and small in packaging. I can easily put it inside my tiniest pouch and touch up just about anytime. The powder also doesn't stay as long as I want, around 3-4 hours I need to touch up using the blush again as it fades away.

-*-

I think the rose shade fits well to almost any skin type. It was subtle, rosy, and gives the skin just the right amount of pink hue. Elegant and lovely too.

-*-

Thank you so much Bourjois Indonesia for the beautiful blush in a cute round pot.

Bourjois Aqua Laque Review

Hello lovelies,

I've shared with you a few days ago the launch of Bourjois new Aqua Laque collection (read : HERE). I've tried number 02 and 03 plus share with you the swatches of the full collection. Now, this is a special post made to review the product.

-*-

I was also given a chance to try not just the Aqua Laque, but the products as shown above.

-*-

Without further ado, this is Aqua Laque no.6 called Feeling Reddy (wow >.~)

As seen above, on dimmed light and when light hits the lips, you can see the difference where the glossiness is far more visible when there's light.

-*-

The lips does look juicy and very pretty since the reflection is definitely seen as watery and not oily. It is wonderful and the texture of the product as well. There's this scent as well, like floral and fruity which is almost subtle but definitely not overwhelming.

-*-

Of course, the highlight is the color itself, it's insane, it's pigmented but so light at the same time, it is glossy but unlike lip gloss, it is watery but doesn't run off, it's well... superb.

-*-

The watery feeling does gives the lips that hydrating feeling. I don't care if it is superficial but it's definitely comforting and enjoyable to be used again and again and again.

-*-

I can go on and on and on about the product but one last thing, if you hate the gloss (don't bother buying this :D) try dab a tissue just once and you'll find the beautiful stained lips underneath like in the image below.

-*-

There you go, a wonderful product worth buying and collecting. I'm sold!

Bourjois Aqua Laque

Hello pretties,

seems like the matte era has turn tables again to a silky and soft glossy with lightness felt on the lips. Yes, Bourjois, one of the trendiest brand in the market. Remember how they make liquid matte lipstick that created a buzz, now here they are, with Aqua Laque.

-*-

The product comes in 8 shades from nudes to pinkest of the pink. Below is the swatches from 8 to 1 (left to right).

-*-

I happen to try on number 3 and 2 on my lips during the event.

-*-

It was glossy, slippery, wet, watery and the colors are pretty. It may look sheer but the build-able colors are irresistible and able to create that full color on the lips.

Details from http://www.bourjois.co.uk

ROUGE EDITION AQUA LAQUE

Mirror-like shine, intense colour & 10hr hydration.

The non-sticky formula glides on easily, creating a water-light sensation
on the lips. And what's more, it contains Nymphaea extract to smooth and
moisturise.
Available in 8 mouth-watering shades, from soft nudes to statement brights
THE AQUA FACTOR? Once applied, it doesn't run or feather so no need for a
lip liner!

-*-

Below is me using number 2, Rose on the Rocks, a nude pink lips that made me somehow feel innocently sexy.

-*-

Followed by number 3, Brun Croyable, a color that is a mixture between coral and red.

-*-

They are not waterproof nor stand against wiping, but they do feel so comfortable on the lips thanks to the watery formula, still, even thou they are watery, they don't run nor feather like described on their website. The friendly price also will be loved by many.

-*-

Overall,

A wonderful liquid lipstick that comes in a watery formula but doesn't run easily. The glossiness and non stickiness are one of the highlights of the product and the irresistible wearable colors too. You'll definitely want to collect them all.

Thank you Bourjois for inviting me and do stay tune for more updates from me.

Narita Teminal 1 and Bourjois Vacances a Hawaii 65

Waiting in Narita for 5 hours is really too much, next time I'll just take the train and see the nearby cities. Or, you can just sit around and enjoy your time and relax there. They provide a shower and room for a nap (with a fee of course) and many shops to indulge your last minute urge. I say around 3 hours you'll see them all and be satisfied.

The selection of food also not bad, from food court to restaurants and those lovely mini marts will do you good, whether you have 250 yen or 25.000 yen you'll find a way to spend it and be happy.

I bought this mini nail polish and it suit the standard carry on baggage policy, I can have a pretty nail color in no time. I found 65 better with one stroke each. Double stroke seems messy and unnatural. Love the soft pearliesh color and how it dries quite fast, not as fast as a quick dry but still okay.

The color gives my nails a more healthier look plus sophistication too ^^

For hard duty hand that wash dishes, laundry, etc the polish lash 3-4 days top. But of you're a princess, it'll last more than a week.
