Old Navy Indonesia

last week was full of events, one of the most exciting event is the Grand Opening of Old Navy in Indonesia.

JAKARTA, 22 April 2016 – Global apparel brand Old Navy announced today that it is opening its first store in Indonesia at the Central Park Mall in Jakarta. This new store has a spacious 1,200 square meter layout that provides an incredible shopping experience for customers. Moreover, it becomes one of the first Old Navy stores to feature an updated store design, reflecting Old Navy’s commitment to always bringing something absolutely unique to its customers, with a focus on high-quality on-trend apparel, fashion and value.

Old Navy is focused on making current American fashion essentials accessible for every family. The brand launched in 1994 and quickly became one of the top apparel brands in the United States, making history in 1996 as the first retailer to reach $1 billion in annual sales in less than four years. Old Navy is part of the Gap Inc. portfolio of brands, which also includes Gap, Banana Republic, Athleta and Intermix.

Old Navy’s entry into Indonesia marks another milestone in the brand’s continued global growth strategy. The first Old Navy store will feature the same energizing store environment that the brand has become known for in the United States and will offer apparel and accessories collections for men, women, kids and babies.

This is the sixth franchise market expansion for Old Navy. In March 2014, the brand opened its first franchise-operated stores in the Philippines and has since opened stores in Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. Everyone enjoying the 30% off during the grand opening until the 24th and I personally adore the collection for kids and they also have maternity collection. Oh I wish they were here a few years ago, I need them!!

The changing room is bright, spacious and the decor is just wonderful. It brightens up my mood with the white woods.

And to those who yearns for accessories, look at these, bags, shoes, belts, scarfs and they all look like they are going to be in my wardrobe soon.

Levi's 711 Skinny Jeans

Hello everyone,

thanks to Levi's Indonesia, a company that develop brilliant jeans, I get tons of compliments on social medias, how you say?

It started around weeks ago when Levi's has just launch their new collection for women called the Lot 700. You may read my previous post HERE about the whole collection.

Long story short, I got two pairs, and after trying so many different style and colors, I chose two 711s in light blue and blue color.

I have a lot of jeans at home and I need these two since I think they are both pretty classic and the shape is just surreal. It really snug my lower parts like second skin...and made them looks better by providing enough 'firmness' and support here and there. What I meant by here and there is the area between the thighs, buttocks, legs, tummy and everywhere in between >.< like for real. Still in a comfortable way, so think of it like a corset made for the lower tummy, rear ends, and legs, and they look good as an outer wear.

711 Skinny comes in a 5/6 -7/8 ish length, and since I'm not tall aka below average, I need to fold them a bit to become as it should be, or let them be to become a full length jeans. I love them either way and even thou they come in the same series and only differ in color, or so I thought, it was not. The one in light blue fits me the most in size 28 and the blue one in size 27. According to the staff, it is due to the material, so even thou' they look similar, they are slightly different. So when you're planning to get one, do try them each of the jeans yourself accordingly.

Above is me wearing the light blue one and it is so comfortable and versatile. I can go either casual or smart casual. Wear a heels and accessories for a cocktail party.

Since it is number 28, I feel them a bit loose on the legs. unlike the one in 27 (blue one) shown on the image below, the legs are fitted well.

And they are still pretty much comfortable.

I can move around freely.

The 711 is a skinny with mid rise, so women, especially those after c-sect, can still feel the comforts. The jeans stays around the navel. And they also have a high rise type (a trend in Korea right now), goes above the navel, covering the whole behind, so you may be assured nothing will appear when you sits. Actually, all of their lot are made to fit nicely when you're walking, standing, or even sitting down.

It's a jeans that are made for style and comfort. Made you looks great and feels good too!

Levi's Lot 700 Series


Hello ladies,

great news!!! Levi's has just launch their new upcoming series for ladies, this time, it would be better, more comfortable and still with Levi's quality and assurance of the best denim.

The event was yesterday at Gandaria City Mall in Skeeno Hall. It was filled with excitement and thrills, definitely one of most happening event in fashion industry. Jeans is not just about making statement but this daily wear has earns it's place up there and everywhere.

From the high ends to street fashion, jeans never been apart, it's something that we can wear everyday and still look damn good, especially when it's Levi's.

Now, better than ever, Levi's presented 710 Super Skinny, 711 Skinny, 712 Slim, 714 Straight, 715 Bootcut, and 721 High Rise Skinny. All in better design, technology and material. From the most stretch up to 45% which is 710 to the one that 'looser' in 715 Bootcut. But all promises a better design where it wrapped, shaped, and even slimmed the user for a firmer thigh, hold butt, shaped the waistline and tummy area but still feel very comfortable thanks to its new innovation.

We all hate corset but love the effect it brings, Levi's 700 series for women help shape up our lower part without the need to suffer, so it's pure comfort and style too.

The collection will be available at the early September at all Levi's in Indonesia, start from the major outlets.

The jeans sold start from Rp.499.900.

Each variant comes in light blue, denim blue and black.

My favorite is 711 like shown by the model above, it's not skinny yet, but it's tight and looks super comfortable, snugging in those lovely jeans.

Soon the event began, there's Nirina on stage with the one of the jeans from the new collection and she does looks slimmer and give the illusion of taller as well. Perhaps it's because of the lifting effect.

Then the country manager steps in and share the beginning of Levi's, which is in 1873 where all jeans are made for men. Not until 80 years later the first jeans made for women. Now, evolving, the Lot 700 series.

Followed by Indri, also from Levi's Indonesia, she share what are the numbers means, 7 means the collection are from women, the next number is the top part and the last digit are for the width of the jeans. So 710 is the tightest (skinny/pencil type) and 715 is the widest. 721 means the jeans is higher on the waist line and the 1 means skinny.

Clozette Indonesia Bloggers Gathering

Hi everybody,

a few weeks ago, I went into my first Clozette Gathering as their ambassador. This time the event is held at one of the restaurant in Lotte Shopping Avenue.

The theme for the event is finding that perfect clothing with your body type.

We do understand that we are unique individual, not just our face and facial structure is different, we are all different in sizes and shapes. And we can all take advantage of our condition by accepting ourselves and makes the best of what we have.

With May and June as their guest speakers and the audience enjoying their lunch at Seribu Rasa, the event went on smoothly. Those with hourglass figure can emphasize on their slim waist while those with strawberry shaped body that has wider lower body has benefits using an A shaped attire like shown above.

May and June also introduce to us their clothing line that are understand the needs of women to look good, in fact, look their best in any occasion.

Sport Watch by Bicycles.sg

Hello all,

This time I want to share with you a review for a product from Bicycles.Sg. A number one bicycles shop in Singapore. Apparently, they also have these custom made watches.

I got the white one, which I think is the prettiest ^^

The watch itself is pretty simple and in terms of design actually quite plain and nothings to it. Suitable for those looking for a fuss free product.

The material itself is rubber and feels soft on the skin.

The product is chubby and thick, I think this is a unisex watch. And the length of the strap and the holes made it suitable for smaller or bigger wrist.

The thing that comes with most of rubber material is they are not really goes well with sweats as in they become rather sticky and add heat on to the skin, and eventually feels kinda yucky.

So I don't think the sport watch suits me during sports heehee,  more like into the sport theme fashion.

Overall,

A sport 'theme' watch with an all white feature, simple, no fuss no frill product. Just tell time without any date or any other function.

The soft rubber material is comfortable and soft against the skin but like all rubbery material, it can become hot when the weather is up to it.

A unisex watch that can fit almost all wrist, the adaptable band with tons of holes made it all possible.

Will I keep using it this chubby watch? Yes. when the 'theme' suits the occasion.

Shiseido Make Up Show Spring Summer 2013

Shiseido invited me for a Spring Summer 2013 Make Up Show with a twist of Fashion Show from Blaire.

The event held in the Penthouse of Grand Hyatt Hotel, Jakarta.

Clearly this is not the first time Shiseido collaborated with the fashion industry, but I wish they make something different.

The event started with a makeup demo. The distance made us (me and other guests) difficult to see the process.

Maybe someday Shiseido will give us a private session ^__^

The model with base on are given colors by the makeup artist.

Then, the highlight of the event, Ms. Blaire and her collection. Please refer to the image below and don't be shy to click it for larger view.

And I got one close up makeup look which I think unique and unlike Shiseido I've witnessed before. A gradation from purple, pink, peach and a stripe of blue line.

Shiseido 140 Anniversary




Hi all!

I'm here to give you a full report on Shiseido 140th Anniversary in Indonesia.

The event is held in Grand Hyatt, one of the most promenade hotel in Jakarta and like Shiseido as well, one of the most famous and promising beauty brand in the world. Wowza!




This is me with Ms. Sien Lie from Shiseido, we are both dressed for the success of Shiseido more years to come in Indonesia and the world.




All the arrays of skincare and makeup too are presented and ready for any guests for a quick touch up and even purchases too. They have special promotion on that day, envy much?!



Inside the Krakatau Room the guests are all ready for the show to begin, wait show? Yes, there will be fashion show for us and it would be a glamorous one, elements and makeup plus accessories combined. Who are the people behind it?

Here come the pretty MC and she officially welcome all of us to the event and the guests are happy, eager and excitement is in the air. I can see some even get their camera ready for what we gonna see \^0^/



Bam bam bam from the beauty elements presented (fire, water, wood, land, and metal) to a little discussion with the fashion designer, accessories designer and of course Shiseido, we are here, we are officially celebrating the 140 years of Shiseido in this world. Giving us beauty from the east, where beautiful skin takes part, enhanced by their natural makeup for that beautiful looking ladies and for being themselves.



Beauty if a part of esthetics.



It was decades, a beauty of transformation of the brand's firm philosophy that has been establish over this century.





Now, the highlight of the event is the fashion shows, where the guests are indulged with the beautiful dress and gowns where elements takes center stage that day. And on the back we can also see the wide screen gives us makeups by Shiseido for the world class shows. It was beautiful.
