Workshop with Clozette and Beauty Box

Hello all,

a few weeks ago I was invited by Clozette for a Saturdate (heehee). Collaborating with Beauty Box, this is an event suitable for any beauty products enthusiast since it is packed with products from Sampar, boho, Apot. Care and many many more, all carried by Beauty Box.

I haven't tried boho before as I was pregnant at the time I was invited for a workshop with them, now I can see them and they are pretty pigmented for a natural cosmetic.

Yes, boho is a brand that using natural ingredients with a result that is photo-ready.

On this occasion, we can try all of them, for me in terms of texture for skincare, SAMPAR has the lightest one and feels really good on the skin. They carries wonderful ingredients for the skin and deliver instant result as well.

Oscar Blandi Pronto Dry Styling Heat Protect Spray

Hello everyone!!!

Another product from Oscar Blandi is here, the heat protector spray that gives hair protection from 450 F or around 230 C 'burning' heat from our styling tools.

Pronto Dry Styling Heat Protect Spray offers 450 degree heat protection and safeguards hair from all hot tools.

PRONTO HEAT PROTECT APPLICATION:
Shake well. If nozzle clogs, rinse with warm water. Evenly spray on dry hair prior to styling with any hot tool. For maximum heat protection, apply to damp hair before blow drying.

The product can be used on a damp or dry hair accordingly, I prefer to use it during blow dry (on damp hair) and a bit more before using hot tools (dry hair).

The scent is citrus like the dry shampoo, fresh and light on the hair. The heat protector does gives the hair added shine without weighting it down. The glossiness is medium. An oil serum will give the hair better shine but usually adding some weight and if not used carefully will even make the hair looks oily, so I guess you get some and lose some.

Oscar Blandi Pronto Dry Styling Heat Protect Spray gives the hair keratin, which needed by the hair as the outer layer that coated the hair. In fact, our hair is also made from keratin as well.

Now. for the 230 C of heat, I haven't try to that level, my styling tool is set to around 100 C max. I don't think the product can 100% protected the hair from the heat since it will be not easy to fully cover the hair with the product, but it does help in terms of keeping the hair sprayed to be less damaged and dry.

For those who already have dry and severely damaged hair will still need more protection against heat instead of relying on the spray alone.

Conclusion:

It is a simple product to be used anytime (on damp or dried hair), the spray makes it easy and less mess than serum/lotion form. Have a pleasing citrus scent (that last around 20 min max). And help adding keratin to the hair.

Tips:

The product is made for hair, not scalp, avoid using it on and near the scalp.

A Quickie at Oscar Blandi Plaza Senayan

I've just got back from a quick visit at Oscar Blandi at Plaza Senayan. This place is offering a fast remedy for bad hair day.

From a wet service (wash and blow) to the dry service, everything is served in a jiffy but with powerful impact to the hair. So even thou' it took like 15-30 minutes, the results is like having to spend 2-3 hours in the salon. Why? The products from Oscar Blandi that promises result instantly and effectively. Today, I've tried the Jasmine Smoothing Shampoo and Conditioner, they smells so good and I love how fresh it is. Then, after toweled dry the hair a serum is added. The Hair Lift Instant Thickening & Strengthening Serum, it gives a boost of volume to my hair and instant body lift up to 47%.

This simple service is comfortable situated in the second floor of Plaza Senayan and in a very accommodating place. The layout and designs is just nice. I feel comfortable with the interior and products given.

Last, after blow drying the hair, a Glossing Serum is added from the Pronto collection. The citrus scent is invigorating and the added shine is just a wonderful addition to the hair.

Overall,

I'm very happy with Oscar Blandi products and the simplicity it gives to the customer. The dry service offers a dry shampoo experience and styling, so limp hair can become alive again ^^ 5-10 minutes is all it takes and don't forget to check out their other collections as well from Oscar Blandi.

More than a month ago a product just knocked in my door, it was from Oscar Blandi family ^^

I think this item really have a lot of benefits from protection to beautifies, but most of products like these felt heavy on the hair and sticky. Living in Jakarta means humidity and it causes the hair to be limp and looks dull. To my surprise Oscar Blandi Pronto Instant Glossing Cream feels so light and almost like nothing. No oily residue nor adding some weight, so for someone who have oily hair would still be able to use it.

The product is use after toweling dry the hair. So it is used on the 4th step. 1. Shampooing, 2. Conditioner, 3. Mask is needed and rinse everything out and toweled dry the hair, then 4. This Instant Glossing Cream as a leave in product before drying the hair using a tool like hair dryer or styling. You can also leave it alone until the hair naturally dry by itself.

The cream color is white and doesn't feel sticky on the hand as well. Use little by little according to the hair length and volume. Gently work it through the hair and use a brush afterwards. Don't forget, this cream are made for the hair, avoid the scalp and only use it from the mid length of the hair all the way to the ends.

Would I keep using it? Maybe once in a while when glossing is my priority of the day, but daily I'll use products that help build the hair strength. So if you have normal hair and not a broken/damage hair due to constant chemical process, you can use this products daily to add protection and shine without feeling heavy.

finally Oscar Blandi is here, where I used to get them in Sephora Singapore. I know their stuffs like years and years ago.

Chinese women after giving birth are not recommended to wash their hair up to a month, it's unbelievable alright, but I'm not here to debate on that suggestion but to accepting the fact that my families does that as well. I'm 'forced' not to wash my hair up to a month which clearly an impossible thing to do for me as I wash my hair daily.

So I'm trying my best to please my mom and in laws by searching for this thing called dry shampoo. After far and wide the only dry shampoo back then (almost a decade ago) was this white powdery thingy which made me looks as if I'm having a major dandruff issue instead of fixing my problem. The powder become sticky and let's just say ruins more that helping me out. In the end I wash my hair after just a week regardless my mom stern request not to. Let's face it, sleepless nights after giving birth + fried bee hoon hair is mood breaker alright. I need my hair to be cleaned.

My quest haven't ended there, years of searching and reluctantly admitting there's only 1 dry shampoo in the world, I found Oscar Blandi. Reading they do come on various shades including clear for different hair color I've tried them on and so happy with the result.

Oscar Blandi Pronto Invisible Volumizing Dry Shampoo Spray

I'm looking for a dry shampoo due to my traveling habit. I'm talking about arriving for transit at midnight and leave with another plane 6 hours later, around 6 am. I'm tired, need sleep and taking a shower and washing my hair seems like a very heavy thing to do.

I've tried some products before but so far this is the best one. I've used the powder in terms of packaging that really like a baby powder, then the sprayed one but really disturbed me with the inhalation, and the white powdery effect like having dandruff. Now comes Oscar Blandi that's invisible and and works like a charm.

Some shampoo do make my hair looks limp and oily residue on the scalp, this Volumizing Dry Shampoo also very handy on that matter. I sprayed it on accordingly, leave it on until dry before tidying everything up. Instantly the hair do is lifted up, not oily, no residue, no powdery look, a bit stiff, but it's all good.
