how are you? Maaf ya aku keasyikan dengan Youtube sampai kadang update blognya jadi sebulan hanya beberapa kali, tahun ini akan lebih digiatkan hehe nah membuka tahun ini 2020, marilah kita makin bersemangat mengatasi masalah yang mungkin masih sama, kayak masalah ketombe hehe, jerawat di kulit kepala, dan sejenisnya.

Untungnya aku tidak punya ketombe, tapi jerawat di kulit kepala pernah dan memang punya oily scalp juga bikin kepala terlihat greasy most of the time. Nah, mama dan adik aku punya masalah dengan ketombe.

Hello lovelies, 

last week I went to an event with Aveeno thanks to KBBV in Mother and Baby Fair 2018 in Balai Kartini. The event went on smoothly with a doctor in the house, representative from Aveeno Indonesia and an influencer which is also a mom with concern over her baby's skin.

The doctor is Dr. M. Akbar Wedyadhana, SpKK, FINS-DV and the mom influencer is Ellyse Sinsilia. Dr. M. Akbar is happen to be a dermavenereologist from Senopati Skin Center, so he definitely qualified to talk about skin condition.

During the event, we talk about skin sensitivity in babies and young kids, as well as how to keep the condition healthy and comfortable. So there's things that we can actually do even thou' the condition (like perhaps sensitivity) is considered permanent due to hereditary from the previous generations (aka parents). You can definitely heard more on my Instagram account (@Carnellin) since I post most of the talkshow on instastories.

The thing is, we tend to generalized the kids condition based on society, so if all babies are using Telon oil (for example) we thought that would be the best for our kids without even learning that our babies might allergic to it or just simply couldn't take the heat. So after having a blast under the sun, and having a thing or two with age, where I know, I know, most people said age is just a number, but the signs are kinda there. The shampoo comes in a two sizes bottle, 100 ml and 250 ml, the 100 ml can be used for up to 2 weeks for my hair length. Both of the bottles (shampoo and hair tonic) have a good designs in details of product information, color and tone. I like what they did to their products.

They look like a products from overseas, very trendy yet have that apothecary essences.

Since I have two kids, for some reasons that even doctors can only said perhaps it's hormonal and common, I do suffer hair loss, it's not really bad or severe, but it does appear different, the numbers of hair growing on the roots is not as many as before. Did you know that a single root can grow 3-5 strands of hair at once? So when some of mine only grow one or two hairs, it means that it is not as thick as before.

Diet, lifestyle and many other things does have effects on the hair growth, for me perhaps it's the lack of sleep and occasional junk food (guilty as charge). These things also some of the cause of agings for the skin.

Let's go back to the shampoo, the first thing I've notice is the smell, it's like a fresh herbs, a modernize herbs that is refreshing and comfortable. The color of the product is clear gel and pretty thick, so it is not runny. No need using too much as they are quite concentrated.

My hair needs the nutrition and the scalp need to take those formula from the shampoo, so whenever I'm washing my hair with HairGrow Shampoo, I took my time and try not to be as quick as I used too. I let the product sits on my hair of at least a few more minutes.

I felt no sting, no irritation, no discomfort when using the products.

While the hair is being cleaned thoroughly with the bubbles, I noticed that I didn't need to use as much shampoo as other brand. Like it was pretty thick, dense and the gels lathers super well making my scalp feels so fresh, this is perhaps another highlight of the shampoo, since shampoo is made more to the scalp than to the hair strands. It's the source of the hair growth.

If the scalp is well taken care, the hair growth could be optimized. I do noticed that many people have their scalp blocked by dirt, sebum to hair product buildups. So the scalp need to be detoxed too.

When the scalp is cleaned thoroughly, the nutrition given afterwards from the hair tonic can goes into the roots without anything blocked the way. Same goes with our face where we need to clean all those dirt, sweats, makeup and all, scalp and hair need to be cleaned too so the product used afterwards can work well.

The thing about cleaning the hair, most shampoo in the market contain too many ingredients that actually blocked the scalp, not Erha, they made their products understanding these principals.

After towel dry the hair, use the hair tonic before using the hair dryer or completely drying the hair. So the scalp 'pores' is still open and ready to absorb all those goodness from the hair tonic.

I've been using all of their products for days now, so you can say that these are like my first impressions, no worries, I'll share with you another post after trying them at least 2-3 weeks.

The white creamy product is easy to be used and no noticeable scent. The conditioner is used right after shampooing, on a wet hair and away from the scalp. In terms of my skin, of course I'm in the aging area, I'm 37 and that's not really young. I do mentioned that I have dark spots right? That's because I often skin the sun screen on daily basis, thinking that my makeup already contain sunscreen, but it's actually not enough. Rejoice Soft Perfume Shampoo

Rejoice has just launch their new shampoo for Indonesia. Knowing and understanding how Indonesian love perfume and smelling good, Rejoice Perfume Shampoo is now here.

Th event is held in Terrace Restaurant and filled with flowers, many beautiful photo spots and French Peony is one of the highlight since it is the main scent of the shampoo.

Soon after, the event started, from Rejoice representative to which I think the most interesting segment where Marie- Emilie Lascaux, a P&G Scientist take the stage. She is super pretty and even thou' she claims not too comfortable being in the spotlight, she seems to be able to share her view on the product quite well.

She share about how a perfume can make a person feels comfortable being around other people, it boost confidence too.

I personally agree with her, when I smell good, it helps me by defining myself better, hence that's why I always prefer a perfume as a gift to myself, and now, with a Rejoice Soft Perfume Shampoo, my hair can smells good all day long too no matter how busy I am during the day. I've tried the shampoo, the scent is still soft and delicate, so it is not too strong but do last, hence it is still comfortable for daily use.

The scent bursting out from the minute I opened the cap, and the pink colored creamy gel lathers on the wet hair so easily. It becomes an abundant bubbles with scent that made the whole shower room smells like a luxurious perfume.

Cheveux Apricot Ice Tea Shampoo and Mojito Scented Hair Mask

months ago, I went into this bazaar at one of the mall in West Jakarta. As usual, there's local brands that we can only see in Instagram. Their name is unique and the products seems fresh. Cheveux means hair in French.

Raspberry = untuk rambut lepek dan rontok pada kulit kepala berminyak. . Mojito = untuk kulit kepala yang sensitif, mengalami kerontokan berkelanjutan dan berketombe. . Apricot Ice tea = untuk rambut berwarna ( mempertahankan coloring ) , dan mengalami banyak proses kimia ( kriting bonding ). . Watermelon = untuk rambut yang super kering dan sangat kaku.

Aside from the cool details of the products, they also come sin this lovely new scents like Apricot Ice Tea and Mojito that I bought. Still, the fact that they don't contain paraben nor sulphate, they still have silicone.

So, I kinda focusing my review for this post on the mask. I know that the mask is said can be used for the scalp but since it has silicone, I avoided using them in the scalp as silicone in the long run blocked the roots of the hair. Same goes with the shampoo, I use it on my hair and use another shampoo for the scalp.

The details on the packaging is cute, the words somehow lures me to have them everyday. And the smell, oh they really good. The Apricot Ice Tea is fresh, fruity and and tea like, so it's pretty much like an apricot ice tea, kinda sweet and fruity at the same time, I love it.

The texture of the shampoo is a creamy gel, feels soft and lathers quite well, not abundantly like detergent or a very foamy shampoo but quite nice. The clean feeling is not really felt too, perhaps due to the silicone, so it is more to the slippery side than squeaky clean. I wish the milky orange shampoo could perform better in cleaning the hair. Usually, I need to use it twice to get near the clean feeling I desire.

The scent however, smells so good and I wish it last longer too, they last around a couple of hours, not bad thou' and if I want, I can simply purchase their hair perfume to make the scent last longer.

And here's the texture of the creamy, juicy, citrus-y mask.

The color is milky yellow and the richness can be felt the minute I looked at it. Even thou' it's rich, it's light at the same time, doesn't add weight on the hair.

Like said above, since I'm using it for the hair only, I wont review the feeling on the scalp.

The mask, again, is emphasizing on the scent rather than function on the hair. The effect is similar to using a conditioner. Made the hair softer and easier to comb with an airy feeling. Mojito itself is a drink well known for being maxed up with citrus, mint and so deliciously fresh, hence, using the same concept, the scent is like that too, I find it harder to resist.

The effect on a severely dry and damaged hair is not really significant, but in boosting my mood, they are so good. Imagine going back after a long day at work, feeling the urge to cleanse and find this in the shower room, it lifted me up.

Overall,

A good start for a good hair product, I hope they remove silicone and add more variants to their hair care collection.

RYO Cheongamo Scalp Deep Cleansing Shampoo

who need a refreshing shampoo? I do, like it was one of my highlight during the day, especially in a hot days. The scalp feel humid and too damp, it's exasperating.

So when hubby bought me this shampoo from his recent travel in China, I was so happy. The product itself is Korean, and seems like, it is pretty famous.

RYO Cheongamo Scalp Deep Cleansing Shampoo is designed for damaged hair. The light and fresh shampoo can control excess amount of sebum and improve hair-quality to turn your weak hair to be shiny, silky and healthy.

Plant extracts such as ginko extract and green tea particles give scaling deep cleasing effect and remove impurities. The formula is also designed for nourishing hair, so your hair will be cleaned thoroughly without being dehydrated.
Natural ingredients such as chestnut extract relieve stress gently for fresh scalp. The floral scent of shampoo smells fresh and relieving to give you a more relaxing hair-washing experience.

Apply appropriate amount on wet scalp and hair. Lather bubbles and massage scalp and hair for cleaning. Rinse off with lukewarm water.

Green tea extract: clean scalp gently

Bupyeongcho extract: control excess sebum

Lotus extract: relieve stress with floral scent

The shampoo bottle may look like most product, but look at the details on the pump holder, if we want to travel carrying the goods, simply attached the 'key-like' feature and they'll never accidentally pump by itself.

And since the bottle is not really clear, I can't really see what's inside, here it is on the image below, surprisingly, the gel is clear, I thought it would be green, it is clear with green beads all over.

The smell is like green herbs, so it is definitely refreshing with a herbal twist. Something that feels ancient and heritage-like.

Since it is a shampoo for the scalp, for sure, the number one effect is felt by the scalp, from the clean feeling to cooling sensation like it's been washed with ice water. I like the pristine and immaculate sense and the chilled too, but I'm having a rather mixed reaction to the scent, something I like it yet something perhaps it's too medicinal.

On the other hand, when the scalp is happy, it is felt a bit drying to my (already) dry and damaged hair, so I tend to use hair mask or heavy conditioner for the hair afterwards to keep them on balance. The scalp is super cleaned and the hair is soft and moisturized.

Overall,

a very good shampoo that lathers really well too, detoxing the scalp and hair for a deep cleansing experience. With a green herbal scent the shampoo the experience it complete.
