I was given the B5, a shade that was too dark for my skin tone but blend effortlessly on my sister's, so the product is of course for her then.

The product comes in this nude color container, very simple yet pretty.

As read on the details from the official website, packaging and everything in between, the powder emphasize on the thin and airiness, yet provide the appropriate coverage.

The product looks pretty isn't it?! I love the simplicity and the brand Maybelline engraved on the container.

Inside, there's a soft and smooth product that easily used on the skin. It's just wonderful, and my sister loves it. She said the texture feels covering and lightweight at the same time. It binds on the skin but still flexible and we understand how it can last for half a day (12 hours) it is because of the formula.

And best of all, it looks natural.

Look at the image below. The pores are hidden well and the skin appears so soft and baby like.

The two way cake hides imperfection such as uneven skin tone, large pores, acne marks, but with the lightest touch and feeling possible.

Of course, as usual, in normal activity the powder can last longer on the skin, when exercising, sweating and in a hot and humid weather, the powder will wear off sooner.

In the end, it is still a great powder under the budget.

Maybelline 100 Years

Hello everybody!!

Maybelline has just celebrate their 100 years anniversary, yes, it's been 100 years (whoaaaa).

This package is received by me on the same day that the event started, so I hope in the future it would come sooner so I can plan on coming ^__^

Aside from that, I see many posts on instagram from the beauty enthusiast abroad, they are recreating the looks from 1920's, 1930's, 1940's and all the way until now. On my package, they share some inspiration for 1960's look. A chic rocker style.

Inside there's the new dream satin skin two way cake, hyper curl volume express mascara, lipstick in rebel bouquet, hyper glossy eyeliner in black, pencil brow in dark grey, and eyeshadow color tattoo in audacious asphalt. As seen they all focusing on the eyes makeup to be as dark as possible.

Unfortunately, the two way cake is way too dark for me, but rest assure, I will still try to review about the texture and formula on my future post.

On this post, I'll share some of the products in a single look, they are Pencil Brow, Hyper Glossy Eyeliner, and Lipstick in Rebel Bouquet.

Of course, since lately I've been a huge fanatic of anything that comes for the lips, I'm eyeing on the Rebel Bouquet first, look at it's name, Rebel Bouquet, it's destined to be used.

It's pink, it's bright, it got attitude, character and it's far from being boring. The texture is smooth and glossy, one thing that put me off is the smell, it's like crayon.

Still, the color, it's irresistible. Vivid, pigmented and has a wonderful coverage too. Makeup has gotten better and better nowadays, this affordable product gives out good quality without weighting us down...in terms of financially.

And then, the pencil brow, mine is in dark grey, and it's dark alright. The texture of the pencil is soft and it is not dry, so it's kinda like a crayon but firmer.

I can easily control the intensity of the pencil by pressing it lightly or stronger, but I always opt for a gentler touch since it help avoid mistakes.

Above is my step by step photos in creating my eyebrows, start by drawing the outer lines and then fills in the inner side. The end should be more define than the beginning. Use a brush for eyebrows to help creating those 'natural hair lines' for the brows.

Finally, I add their hyper glossy eyeliner, it's dark and glossy at the same time. The eyeliner dries up pretty fast and proven to be waterproof. It helps defines the eyes for that deeper and more intense look.

Maybelline Color Tattoo

Hello everyone,

oh nooo, this is a long overdue post, I'm so busy and kept forgetting in making a review for this one. Maybelline Color Tattoo, an eyeshadow that gives color and an appearance of a freshly applied shadow for the whole day.

I have three shades of them, Bold Gold, Tenacious Teal and Painted Purple.

The first edition color Tattoo are the gold and the teal, they both smaller and get dry faster than the new edition, the purple one.

So I think nowadays, you can find the new edition easier and it does have better formula than the previous one.

Look at the differences of the gold and purple. The purple one is far more easier to be applied than the gold and blend easier too.

Above is me using them both and below are the close up looks.

And it really stays all day long like a waterproof product should be.

Unfortunately, the teal is already dried up, I've used it before on my trip with Kawaii Beauty Japan to Tokyo.

It is not really visible when I opened the eyes.

Overall,

A great product from Maybelline that made eyeshadow to be so waterproof, long lasting and true to its color from the first application. The only thing that needs to be pay attention to is the texture which can easily dried up and difficult to be used. The new formula tacked this problem nicely but the color become less vivid than before, so you need to apply more layers to get the same effect.

Maybelline Hyper Diamonds Eyeshadow

this is not a new product from Maybelline, I think it's been around for 2 years now, yet I'm still using them as they do provide variety of lovely shades with those irresistible diamond like sparks.

The products sent to me are the ColorShow eyeliner, a lipstick, and the eyeshadow in BR-2. In this post, it would be about the Hyper Diamonds in BR-2 only.

5 color in a single palette, can be used together or one by one accordingly.

With or without flash the eyeshadow sparks beautifully, they do dust a bit but still in a acceptable quantity. I do recommend use loose powder under the eyes for a quick brush off, or like a friend of mine who happen to be a makeup artist, she did all the eyes first before the face so the 'spills' are well hidden or easily cleaned.

And here I am, using the shades no.2,3 and 4.

No.5 also applied a bit on the center area of the lids, inner waterline and on my nose bridge.

So yes, their eyeshadow can be used in anywhere I please, sometime on the eyeshadow too when I want them to look more brown than black.

Maybelline Clear Smooth All In One Shine Free Cake Powder

yesterday I went to an event where Maybelline is the host.

We are here to welcome the new ambassador and their new product, the Clear Smooth All in One Shine Free Cake Powder.

The product itself comes in 5 shades, from light to darker tone, to fit our skin tone just right.

These are the secret playground of the first moments. Maybelline wants us to remember our first moments, from the first makeup, the first crush, the first bff, and every other 'first' that has comes into our lives.

And I remember my first makeup, it was back in the 1994 where birthday parties has no longer about balloons and cakes. It is more to the dance and we all wear makeup.

Soon, the event started with Ms. Ivy as the MC.

With her, on stage, she is Ms. Monica, the brand manager of Maybelline Indonesia.

Soon after, they introducing the new ambassador for Maybelline Indonesia, Eva Celia, daughter of Sophia Latjuba.

She take over the stage with confident and sang a few songs. Seems like Maybelline has picked a multi-talented young lady, hopefully she'll be able to become the role model girls need these days. Someone that they can see as a person than able to achieve her dreams and live in a life that is contributing positively to the society.

Maybelline Year End Party

Recently Maybelline Indonesia gathered young ladies from all around Indonesia to join their first competition to become Maybelline Girl.

Jakarta, 7 Desember 2014 – Untuk pertama kalinya, Maybelline New York-Indonesia menggelar

pencarian wajah Maybelline bertajuk “Maybelline Girls Search” yang bertujuan untuk mengapresiasi

remaja putri Indonesia yang tak hanya cantik namun juga memiliki karakter percaya diri, outgoing,

smart, energetic, fashionable, dan trendy. Para finalis merupakan sosok inspiratif yang disukai

dan dinominasikan oleh teman-temannya. Setelah melalui penjurian yang ketat, dewan juri yang

terdiri dari: Monika Ardianti (Business Unit Manager Maybelline New York-Indonesia), Velove Vexia

(Brand Ambassador Maybelline), Ryan Ogilvy (Official Makeup Artist Maybelline), Glenn Prasetya

(Professional Photographer) serta juri tamu Kamidia Radisti (perwakilan TALKINC), menentukan 10

The event itself went on smoothly, if you happen to follow the beauty bloggers social medias, you'll see what happen 'LIVE' during the event. There's a lot of things going on and it went on like a beauty pageant, a fun one.

For me personally, this event should be held annually, and add more cause in the workshop, perhaps something green and add a bit more self development as well to contribute more to the girls.
Maybelline as always has add a colorful touch with the Spring and Summer collection for the 2015.

Maybelline Baby Lips Color in Berry Crush and Coral Flush

Hello everyone,

Baby Lips Color from Maybelline is still a favorite craze among the young. There's colors to choose and soft juicy lips as a result.

I happen to have more, these are the Berry Crush and Coral Flush.

The SPF 16 is suitable for daily usage and constant reapplying.

-*-

The lip balms can be used alone or on top of a lipstick, I also like to use it below a lip gloss, it add that depth of sheer shine to the lips, very irresistible.
Since both are still in the lip balm category even thou it's hinted with colors, the moisturizing effect is the highlight I'm look forward into. And they did just nice.

Below are the result of me using them, as seen , if you're looking for a non glossy lip balm, then this is definitely not the product for you.

The moisturizing effect itself is light to medium, during dry weather I need to reapply constantly. Use it as needed, reapply as often as you like.

On my lips, the Berry Crush is far more visible than Coral Flush. These results may vary on each of you since our natural lips color may differ from each other. My tips for the maximum benefit would be, use a lip scrub before applying these balms for that super silky smooth result.

Above are the swatches, upper one is Berry Crush and lower one is Coral Flush, no wonder the Coral Flush doesn't really shown on my lips.

Overall,
a wonderful glossy lip balm that add shine, hints of color according to the shades and a sunscreen for the lips. Suitable for daily usage alone or with a lipstick / lip gloss of your choice.
