Maison de FLEUR Scent by Varo

Hello lovelies,

these babies are one of my treasures from Japan.

I saw their store in Ikspiari when visiting Disneyland area. It was small yet adequate, they brought collection that are so pretty and adorable. From bags, handkerchiefs, perfume to toiletries. As a huge fan of toiletries, I get one in a Fukubukuro (lucky bag).

These are the products inside mine. Some hand creams, hand butter, hand treatment, lip balms, body cream, shampoo, and all in different scents.

The product inside worth twice the price paid. It's really something that I'm looking forward from my trip in Japan, quality products with beautiful scents and very rewarding experience. I can share these babies with my family and friends too.

These are the lip balms, my favorite is, of course, Rose, it gives the lips a faint red hue, like a stain. Others are transparent and when seen, the Fig might be two, but one in original and the other is Moisture.

Pistachio is nutty and fresh while fig is fragrant. I love their unique scents.

The texture of the balms is like most balms, it is balmy. Perfect for the dry weather in keeping the lips moist.

There's nothing special about the containers too, in fact every products is simple and plain, just the wrapping with scent by varo and of course, the cute kitty cat that made the difference. However, when opened, they are just plain white container.

And their shampoo or body cream is just wonderful, they both smells so good. Lilac is so feminine, calm and the floral scent is beautiful. Their rose is perfect too, but unfortunately, my skin can't take it, mine is too sensitive when using a scented products.

The shampoo on the other hand create a silky smooth finish, kinda a bit like dry oils but doesn't make the hair limp nor greasy. And the scent, last all day long.

The hand treatments are gorgeous, the gel smells so good and lightly moisturizing the hands. It came in many variants too, mine is Lilac and Lavender, both my favorite scents.

The hand butters is thick and creamy, they moisturize the hand at the creamiest level possible.

So the hand treatment is the lightest, followed by their hand creams and finally, the thickest one in texture and moisture is hand butter.

English garden smells like blooming flowers in the spring or early summer, so fresh and beautiful, they are just so lovely. I wish I have one in their perfume or perhaps everything in the range such as body shower, shampoo, body cream, etc.

Overall,

I think they are great as they produce quality  products with irresistible fresh floral and feminine scents. One product can come in several textures and scents too. Unique, beautiful and I find them all smells so good. I wish I can try more, perhaps next time when I visit Japan again.

Sabai-arom Homegrown Lemongrass

They were zesty, beautiful and so aromatic, it's my family's favorite and we love the antibacterial formula that simply deodorizing. The skin feels soft and powdery when using them, both the lotion and the cream are light. It is the lightest compared to the other body creams from other variant.

The light green color, the aroma, the effect are all soothing and relaxing.

It something that I'm using in my daily life, so when I took my chores (taking showers), I won't get so bored with the exact same routine over and over.

Each of their body cream is similar in texture, the white one is Jasmine Ritual and the yellow one is their Siamese Flower variant.

Both feels almost the same, just the scent and key ingredients that's different. Still, I love them both. They do still contain a bit of chemicals even thou most of the ingredients are natural, but sometime my very sensitive skin can't hardly take it and breaks with dryness or sensitivity. I wish my skin is normal and healthy, so I can keep using products that smells so divine on daily basis.

My skin is dry, body, face, they are all dry. I have Hydrabio for my face (also from Bioderma) and this product is made for the body.

It has that milky creamy formula, and as seen on the image on top of this post, I can use that much for my legs and arms. Add a bit more for the whole body.

It has a fine and silky texture, rich but comforting and even thou I was worry at first, it was sublime. It create an instant relieve and barrier for my skin and last for the whole day. It melts on the skin, taken, create a thin layer and then it stays velvety. This is a perfect formula for dry skin and sensitive too.

Mine is fragrance free, you can pick one that scented. But for me, I'm fine with this one and my whole family can also use it. We'll be going on a winter holiday soon and this is the perfect lotion I'll definitely bring.

I hate body butter as it stays on the skin, making them greasy and the oils could be too much. Body lotion is often too light, this creme is perfect and I think it is one of my highlight product for dry skin that actually can be used for the kids too.

Love the moist bouncy effect on the skin and it gives mine that subtle glow too, sign of a healthier skin, away from dryness.

Croc Oil Cream

Hello everyone,

this is Crocodile Cream. It's unorthodox alright but seems like traditionally made products are on the rise lately. In Japan horse oil is very famous like cactus in Mexico, Korean with their snail slugs, now in Thailand, they also use Crocodile Oil for treatments on the surface of the skin.

I couldn't find anything on their website (Muku Group) related to the product, so the details on the packaging alone will be my guide. The ingredients mentioned are crocodylidae, niacinamide, tocophery acetate and shea butter.

Crocodylidae means crocodile, and I presume it's their oils that was been used.
Niacinamine means vitamin B3 for anti aging.
Tocopheryl Acetate means vitamin E
and Shea butter, a well known ingredients used in the cosmetic industry.

So there's really nothing to it, aside from the crocodile oil.

I'm trying them everywhere I can, on my driest part (heels) where it is chapped and desperately need help. On my scar, wounds post surgery and even add it a bit on my daily lotion for an overall experience.

The texture of the oil itself is like any other cream, doesn't have any distinct smell nor feel gamy. It's a relieve haha!

And the immediate effect is the moisturizing effect, I don't really see any healing abilities for the past two weeks, perhaps since I'm not really having an immediate post surgery scars. Most of the scars are already taken care of years ago.

Overall, it's a product that have heritage and beliefs from the people in Thailand. Some must have experience significant benefits hence this product is made, but for me personally, I'm just experiencing it's hydrating ability and 'heal' my dry skin even on the driest part. Of course, like any other skincare, a daily routine application is needed and not an instant gratification. Although, a mild relieving effects are felt right after on the very dry skin.

So far, I didn't experience any discomfort, sensitivity nor allergic reaction using the product.

The product comes in a deep blue box, the shade of the blue is similar to the jar. I know that Biotherm no longer available in Indonesia except at the duty free shops in the airports. Still, I love Biotherm, they have wonderful products especially the skincare, but this product is also awesome, the texture is just wonderful.

Creamy at first and subtly fragrant, but after being massage a few minutes, the skin will become so soft and this is the kind of velvety supple softness that I've been dreaming about. It's superb.

I don't feel any stickiness, nor greasy effect, not like conventional lotion that doesn't give any effect, this one made the skin firmer and like this consistency that you dream off. Like a fresh young skin, so firm and soft to the touch...oh like a baby's butt but firmer >.< ... like a mochi.

As good as it goes, this product doesn't 'cure' cellulite, excess fats and just help firming up the skin. So when you're losing weight, exercising and down a few sizes away, you want your skin to 'tag along' as the fat are melting, you don't want your skin to 'melt' as well and sag. You want your skin to get a grip and holds everything tight again, this is the product for you. A firm corrector for your body skin (not for face use).

Highly recommended!!! Use after shower 2 times a day with a little massage to help absorption and firming the skin.

The scent last for hours while the moisturizing effect on my dry skin need to be added.

So for me, I think the cream is a much more suitable, it moisturize the skin better and richer too. The skin still feels soft and not sticky nor greasy, it's like wonderful. The scent also last longer than the lotion.

Love Spell Untamed Ultra Moisturizing Hand & Body Cream is perfect to be used after shower for that moisture that last for hours and when those hours past and I want to add more lasting scent, I'll just add the fragrance lotion in the midday so I'm always smells good between showers.

Bath and Body Works Aspen Caramel Woods Shower Gel and Warm Vanilla Sugar Body Cream

who doesn't love bath time, any one will definitely do. From female to now male too, kids and grown ups, we love bath time. It's no longer about cleansing but so much more. It is an experience that takes us out of this world daily routine, which can be stressful, bored and far from excitement.

Bath time on the other hand can be easily spiced up, these products for example, it made them so much sweeter.

The thick and luscious texture from both. The caramel like texture and color from the shower gel that lathers on easily and produces sweet scented aroma that last for the whole bath time and 1-2 hours after shower.

Made the skin clean but keeping them moist enough until we put on lotion. So there's no overly dry experience, more like comfortable from beginning to the end.

The scent itself is just wonderful, it's not like a very sweet but more like uniquely sweet and aromatic at the same time.

Same goes with Warm Vanilla Sugar Body Cream. The white cream is wonderful and perfect for my dry skin. It doesn't give my skin a greasy and oily residue, more like velvety smooth feeling.

Of course, the warm vanilla sugar scent that feels sweet and so comfortable. It's the kind of vanilla that I really like. It's so good.

And the scent last almost all day long, as long as the moisturizing effect.

This is definitely my favorite scent ... for now haha! As I love to change according to my moods.

Conclusion?

A must try product with wonderful fresh sweet citrus scent, not sticky creamy formula that suits dry skin type, and doesn't contain harsh chemical like paraben.
