Gaya Spa

Hello lovelies,

yesterday I went to Gaya Spa at Wolter Monginsidi street. The location is pretty close to Senopati area and its pretty big. Next to KFC joint and it has spacious place for at least 6 cars.

-*-

Inside there's the reception and area where you can get their products to be used at home. The whole place smells good, it a clear affirmation that you're in a Spa.

There's lounge area for waiting, some guests would perhaps come without making an appointment can sit down comfortably, but for better efficiency, do call and make an appointment before coming.

-*-

The oils smells so good and it comes in many aroma that reminds me of many traditional characteristic. The spa also have many package like Betangeh Minang (the one I'm having), Batimung Banjar, Bali and many more. The therapist told me that their Martup Batak is the most famous one. On each package comes with different aroma, technique in massage and spices used.

-*-

The premise comes with around 10 rooms, most of them have shower and bath area. Some also comes with two beds and bigger bath tub suitable for couples. Most of them also have a dimmed lighting for inducing relaxation and comfort for the guess.

We can change to a kimono and disposable undies inside the room.

-*-

There are semi private areas too like for the head massage, shampoo, or other treatment for the head.

-*-

Some of the room also come with steaming properties, the image below is a couple room, perfect for husband and wife or mom and a kid, some family also comes together to relax and unwind. We literally don't have to skip the city to enjoy a quality time or to feel better again.

Everyday routine could be a bit tight and stressful, coming to a spa like this means for a while, our body can be at ease once again.

The treatment goes like this.

-*-

-*-

After enjoying the massage and right before body scrub, I went into the steam, it helps opens up the pores so the scrub could be more effective.

The steam also very good for inhalation.

-*-

I feel like the whole place is well prepared for a spa. Some of the walls maybe need repair since it was humid most of the time but overall they were in a good condition remembering it has been a while they open the premises.

-*-

Below is the scrub cream prepared just for me. Smells good, comes in good consistency, thickness of the product and the big beads made it feels so comfortable on the skin. The scrubbing process is really fast, I think I need a bit more scrubbing on the bask side.

-*-

Next is bath time, using bath foam, aromatherapy oils, and Jacuzzi tub that induce more relaxation, oh, I feel like there's so many reasons to enjoy a good night sleep afterwards. I do have a quality sleep last night, I think it's a mix between the massage, steam, scrub, and bath time here.

-*-

The foam relaxes, imagine the oozing sound of a popping tiny bubbles all around in a room that smells really tranquil.

My senses are stimulated.

-*-

Next, I went to an RF Treatment room. There's a machine ready to be used, it have many handles and hand for each area. Since I want my tummy to be firmer, I'm opt for the tummy area. The treatment only took 30 minutes. The feeling is just like getting a warm a massage on the stomach.

-*-

Followed by salon time on second floor. Those who wants to have a hair makeover can also have it here, there's coloring, cutting, perming and so on, like any other salon. The waiting area for those who waits (like spouse or kids) they can relax at the sofa.

-*-

I'm here for a quick hair manicure, it fill the color on my hair once again, giving them glow also. And during waiting, I have a chance to visit the doctor and get a quick consultation to understand my skin condition better. There are available on the third floor.

-*-

Apparently my skin start to show aging signs, like a big pores and slightly not as firm as before. My skin need firming and treatments to help the pores regain it's elasticity. Become tight and look younger again. The doctor advice me to use more sunscreen from 8 am all the way to 4 pm.

-*-

Soon it's time to wash and dry my hair, since the procedure is considered treatment, I was advice to do a simple blow as it helps the hair to settle the hair condition.

-*-

I went home around 5 pm yesterday, it was like I spent the whole day here and I feel great. My skin is clean and comfortable, I got new hair color, and all the exhaustion from day to day routine is washed away.

-*-

Thank you so much Gaya Spa for the opportunity to try the services and you for reading the post.

See you again soon!

Raspberry & Blackberry Bath & Shower Crème

Hello lovelies,

this baby has been around for 2 months in my home and honestly, it is almost finished now. We've been using it daily and mostly for bubble bath instead of shower. The product was bought when we're in Singapore, hence I don't think it's available in Indonesia (yet), since I love trying new stuff, I figure this could be something that help boost my mood when needed.

Fresh berries scent was all over my mind when I purchase the product and when I open it a bit to sniff it. The bottle was pretty transparent, so I can see what's in it, and it's heavy too, I think it is enough for the whole family.

-*-

I Love’s Bath & Shower Crème Collection is filled with energising natural fruit extracts & skin loving moisturisers such as Pro Vitamin B5 to leave your skin feeling silky soft & deliciously scented. Nourish & refresh your skin with this fruity favourite!
Feel revitalised with the delicious scent of fresh berries in Raspberry & Blackberry. It’s the fruity fix your body will love. I Love’s pampering treats harness the power of berries to leave your skin deliciously clean & irresistibly soft.

It is soft enough and doesn't lather as much as I want it too, perhaps that's where the word creme for. It's not made for bubbles for sure, there are, but not abundantly where the kids can be excited about and the berries are rather soft too in terms of after finished taking the shower or bath, the scent seems like disappearing too. So, hmm, there's goes my fruity dream.

The skin doesn't feel dry thou', I guess that's the plus side of this product, I don't feel them getting like squeaky dry or taut, so it's comfortable for those with dry skin, or we're guilty people who took warm showers and bath every day.

Body lotion is still needed on daily basis but overall it is pretty much comfortable.

-*-

That's my face expression trying to find the scent.

So, there you go, a product that the whole family can use, gentle enough, subtle scent and light bubbles to be frequently use anytime needed.

The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil Bubbling Bath

Hello lovelies,

who loves bubble bath? I do, I really, really do. I know it probably a waste of water since showering would be much more efficient, but the relaxation it brings is just wonderful. Sore muscles and like all the exhaustion are swirled away in the warmness of the water and these bubbles that some how surreal.

As many bubble baths do, it made the skin dry, it's just part of it, so sometime I put on a bit of body oils on the water to keep the skin moist. Now, The Body Shop comes with Wild Argan Oil Bubble Bath.

-*-

Sink into a bath of bountiful bubbles, enriched with organic Community Trade argan oil from Morocco.
  • Bath soak
  • Leaves skin soft and smooth
  • Rich, fragrant bubbles
  • Community Trade argan oil from Morocco

Swirl into a warm running bath.

-*-

The foam it created are fine and feels luxurious, the bubbles are pretty abundant but I've seen better. Perhaps since the formula emphasize on the wild argan oil hence the bubbles are second in line. The scent is warm, almost like honey but not sweet. It have that grown up sensuality, and softness that brings comfort to the skin.

This golden honey like texture somehow alluring too, like there's tiny golden sparkles flying here and there, I do feel relaxed and calmed after the bath. After that kind of warm bath the pores are opened and the skin will take body lotion or body cream better for an unbeatable softness that prep the skin. Highly recommended before bedtime.

Bathox Aromatherapy Pure Lavender & Chamomile Oil

Hello lovelies,

I love soaking in a bath tub, for me it's like the perfect way to wash away the stress, added a few more aromatherapy candles, bath fizzes and when the combination is right, it's like sublime.

When I want a more smoother skin that make the skin glisten. I add a bit of body oil in the water, but don't mixed it, as oils sometimes made the bubble less bubbly.

This is my first time trying Bathox and I have high expectation for the aromatherapy as it is written clearly on the bottle. Little that I know, the scent is very mild, like too mild to my favorite.

-*-

The bubbles at the other hand is abundant, it's luxurious, smooth and can be used as a shower gel too, perhaps, better as a shower gel as the aroma is more 'felt' or noticeable compared to when bathing in one.

Perhaps, I'm the kind of person that prefer stronger scent or perhaps it's this one that too faint, either way, I did add a bit more lavender essential oils to my bath mix for a more relaxing effects.

-*-

Overall,

wonderful product that did moisturize the skin and nourished while cleansing, so the skin doesn't feels dry after bathing or showering, Bubbles up real good but doesn't really "aromatherapy" for me.

The Body Shop Glazed Apple Bath Jelly

Hello lovelies,

who loves bubble bath? I do! As much as it sometime irritates the private part on some people, bubble bath are still fun and comfy to be in, soaked for an hour in a warm bubbles are just pure bliss. Plus if their smells so good.

-*-

During the holiday period, The Body Shop launches a few collectibles and this particular bath jelly is one of the item. It was in the Glazed Apple collection and the aroma comes out so sweet and fruity. The kids loves using this bath jelly, not just because it comes in a jelly like consistency (more like thick gel) but it made tons of bubbles.

-*-

Does it has to be used as a bath bubbles? Not necessarily. Add a teaspoon on a loofah or sponge or cloth or just hands and bubbles up. Use it like using liquid soaps but in concentrated formula. It lathers up and the skin feels clean and fragrant afterwards.

-*-

The jelly or concentrated gel itself feels sticky and getting them out without a spoon will meant mess and a waste. And there's never a need to use too much as it lathers up bountifully and I never want my skin to become dry.  Use as needed and the desired result will be achieved.

-*-

And great news, The Body Shop also have another bath jelly in other variant, hopefully they'll be here soon.
