Biore 2 in 1 Cleansing Wash

Hi everyone,

this particular item is definitely not a new thing on the block, it has been around for a while but I haven't get my hands on it 'till now.

Reading how many bloggers seems to love it as a makeup remover and daily cleanser, I tried it on.

The packaging is simple and cute, very Japanese, maybe due to all the kanji written heehee. I have high expectation to the product since it can clean everything, from sun protection, makeup and daily debris. Hopefully it help save the time and money too, no more double cleansing or triple cleansing, or is it?

I've tried to find the product details on their official website but failed to find one, maybe since the product no longer available out there or change into something new.

But in Indonesia the product still available in major supermarket.

A milky liquid and smells flowery, feels a bit thick and sticky, easily mixed with water and bubbles up. The lathers is fluffy after working on it for a while.

The result?

It doesn't clean all the makeup like I long for. The waterproof mascara and eyeliner are still there. I still have to do a double cleansing with a cleansing oil to get all the waterproof makeup to be completely cleaned.

It does cleans daily debris and sun protection (after 2 wash), smells good but  . . . not really a makeup remover for a waterproof makeup.

ZA Hey Cutie Lip Drops

Hey cutie!

Yes, it's a greetings to all of you and the same time the name of this particular item from ZA of Lip Drops series.

Details from

Drop Seal Formula gives the lips dewy finish without stickiness.
Collagen Complex provides long-lasting moisture and prevents dryness.

The lippie smells good, like a mixed of something berry and flowery. The color is wonderful and very cute. The lips felt an immediate smooth feeling and sensation but still considered sticky for me. A bit sticky on the lips although not so much compared when they are in touch with the hairs and it is rather inseparable.

The lips does feels the moisture and dewiness away from dry chapped condition.

This is the clear vision of the result of Hey Cutie, Lip Drops, so juicy and looks watery on the lips covering everything on top. May be used above lipstick as well for that gloss that only lip gloss can give.

The small tube is perfect to be tucked in almost everywhere. I know someone who only carry lip gloss during a night out, she tuck it in her bra and touch up almost every time for that irresistible sexy lips all night long, fuss free and she doesn't have to carry any purse and be a dancing queen.

Super duper long names right?! And please do read on the details before reading my review. The product from Kiehl's as usual, it is simple and minimal design with all the necessary information needed stick on it. If only they change the name into hair magic potion, period. Okay, that's a joke, they have all the rights to give any name of all their products.

The pointy tip is definitely a helper so the oil goes right to the scalp and drips some to the hair. The oils smells really good, fresh and invigorating. The scalp instantly feels the energy, care and luxurious richness of the oils.

Instantly the oils are taken by the hair strands and I can see the hair are so happy and glistening. The coarse parts rejuvenated and the dryness disappears. I don't have dry scalp, more like oily scalp, yet still able to take benefit from the oils for the stimulating effect. I hope in the long run also help with adding the fullness of the hair and regrowth.

I leave the hair with the oils for 15-20 minutes regularly and sometime over those minutes, the tingling effect will be more felt when leave longer. And it will keep stimulating the scalp even after rinsing.

Even thou' it's oil, they are lightweight and able to be dissolved by water. Shampoo is still needed but unlike regular oils which made the scalp oily and greasy, Magic Elixir is easily rinse off. I use my regular shampoo for colored hair and all the leftovers are gone. The nutrients are hopefully absorbed and repairs the damage of the hair, enrich the scalp, and hello shiny hair.

Overall, if you're looking for a treatment done pre-shampoo old fashioned way with a modern twist and simplicity, try the Magic Elixir Hair Restructuring Concentrate for that healthier hair and nourished scalp all the way to the end.

L'Oreal White Perfect Night

Hello ^__^

L'Oreal Paris White Perfect also comes in a series for the night, called White Perfect Night. Fairness Revealing Soothing Cream. I think this is the first time I'm trying a night cream from L'Oreal Paris. Usually it's either day cream or a day-night cream such as the Hydra Fresh, the original one, the one I used around 12 years ago when I'm still 20 years old.

Wake up to radiant skin!

White Perfect Night Cream contains a breakthrough ingredient - Melanin Vanish™, 1 drop 50X more powerful, which helps to inhibit melanin production at the source. Night after night, spots are reduced, skin looks fairer and more radiant.

The cream is a bit like milky violet in color, just like the packaging. The design of the pot looks simple, reminds me of Hydra Fresh and other variant from the same brand. The texture of the cream is light, like a merit between gel and cream. Smells like N**** brand (lotion). I like this kind of scent, it is comforting.

When applied to the skin unlike the typical night cream which is heavy and felt so rich, the White Perfect Night is able to get-into the skin, so there are no leftover feelings on the surface. The skin become hydrated and slightly plumped immediately. So far I haven't witness the transparent rosy whitening but the skin do appears clearing up. Like there are less dark spots than before usage. The result also not instant, it took me weeks to notice the result of a clearer skin but since the gel cream feels light to the touch the days went by without hindrance.

So, if you're looking for a brighter skin with a creamy gel that doesn't feels sticky nor greasy? This might be your answer as a night treatment. Of course this product can't be used alone, a series of cleanser, toner, and day time treatment also needed.

However for me, since I have dry skin, I need a night cream with more hydrating effect than this one, so probably I wont continue using the White Perfect Night, perhaps in the L'Oreal Paris world, I'll opt to the Hydra Fresh once in a while or top it off with a hydrating cream at night.

Shu Uemura POREraser Event

Hello everyone,

a new week has begun and a fresh new start from Shu Uemura's favorite mousse, here comes another variety not to be missed. The POREraser.

The event take place at Penang Bistro, the bloggers invited has products in front of them and we are all required to use all of it ^__^' I come in full makeup . . . and I have to start all over.

The cracker test show how the mousse distributed way better and hold their particles firmer than conventional makeup. So to the touch, the feeling, are smoother, softer and lighter.

Before using the UV Under Base Mousse, the face have to be cleaned and use skincare for that glowing lovely complexion.

The toner are the famous mist and followed by tsuya. A pearly pinkish pre-serum that re-activate the skin youthful complexion.

One of my favorite range in Shu Uemura's world, Red Juvenus, smells so freshly berry good and the anti oxidant that burst with anti-aging action. Light to the touch yet rich with powerful ingredients.

Then, it's POREraser time.

Details from :

Both are wonderful and feels so light, fluffy and perfect as a lovely base for the skin. In Shu Uemura's world a gorgeous look starts with a healthy and radiant skin.

These are the mousse, looks like meringue right?! Heehee, super duper cute.

After using POREraser, liquid foundation is added and followed by loose powder, blush on, lipstick and eyeshadow.

Very soft texture and wide variety of colors in a palette is always one of the key factor in Shu Uemura's success in Indonesia.

Result for the whole makeup, a flawless finish, colorful and so light to the touch thanks to a great base to begin with.

Thank you Shu Uemura for having us here ^__^

Estee Lauder Double Wear and Lucidity Loose Powder

Hi all,

after last week event (Read: HERE), I went home with the Double Wear Ivory Cream and Natural Loose Powder. This two dynamic duo is ample in creating a flawless base for me.

I know Estee Lauder for around 20 years and this brand once has the prettiest gift set I've seen and one time there's this loose powder. It was my first loose powder. It was my mom's heehee, but it is the first loose powder I've used. I still remember how soft and light it is. Now, I'm pairing them together.

This is the 1N2 which is called Ecru Internationally, but in Indonesia it become Ivory Cream 39.

The cream looks so thick and rich, how I wish it comes in a pump not just a plain bottle, but later, I know why it comes in an open cap bottle without any pump attached.

Seduced by the Estee Lauder's MUA during the event to use a brush for better application, I let the brush to do the job, and failed miserably. The cream create some lines and the worst part is they sticks on the brush badly. It was very difficult cleaning it. I have to use a makeup remover, why?

The cream gets dry super fast, I'm talking in a matter of seconds here. So seeing the strikes, I use my fingers (best tool ever) and blends everything, I think 1-2 minutes and the makeup has set. Like I can feel it actually hardening on the skin. Once they set, they wont budge. It stays with me all day long, I haven't experience something like this before. Or at least not in the last decade.

This is how I look after putting on Double Wear. Most foundation gives a sticky finish (from very to slightly sticky), this one is minimum. Like they are air-dried. I did sweats thank to the hot temp, but the makeup stays undisturbed while other will starts to melt like ice cream on a hot pan.

Some of the cream that I put on my hand, I let it dry just like the face and did some testing. I washed it with soaps, facial wash, liquid dishwasher and how it goes? The foundation stays! It gives the skin a coverage like mask. Waterproof as well. The water stays on top of it and the soaps unable to break it down. It need a makeup cleanser. I have Take It Away (HERE) and it cleaned them well. Like really well. I'm sure a cleansing oil able to do the job as well.

After using Double Wear I don't have to wait for the foundation to set, since it sets almost instantly, a loose powder is added just to make sure a soft finish. Mine is 01 Light.

Details from :
Minimizes the look of lines

Luminous finish

This loose powder gives skin a luminous finish that minimizes the look of lines and wrinkles.

Special ingredients diffuse light as it hits your skin, creating a "soft-focus" effect that visibly smooths the appearance of your skin.

Powder Points
  • Flawless coverage
  • Luminous finish
  • Comes with a luxurious puff

Loose Powder for a Flawless Look
Loose powder is ideal for the sheerest, most natural finish, especially when applying your makeup at home.

To use loose powder, tap the puff or a powder brush into the powder, then gently blow or tap off any excess. Pat or sweep lightly over face.

  • Dermatologist-tested

Equipped with a big puff somehow I wish the packet comes with big rounded mirror for easier touch up after long hours or when needed. Or I just love it better when there's mirror ^__^

Hmm, usually Estee Lauder's base appears fairer on the skin, but this one even thou' it's 'Light' still a bit too dark for me . . . and a bit reddish.

For sure I don't need a bronzer anymore. The texture is soft, light and fluffy alright just the tone that not exactly light enough for me. Perhaps, transparent should do the trick.

Use a big rounded brush for a flawless and enough touch, this time I literally can say, a small powder goes along the way thanks to the dry touch from Double Wear.

The image above is me with Double Wear and Lucidity on sunlight and below in room light

Looks darker right?!

Final look? After brows, blush on, lips and fake lashes.

Ta da! It looks natural, flawless, no photo editing needed and the look stay with me from morning till night thanks to the solid base. I just need a few touch up on lipstick and far lesser touch up on powders.

Now, back to why it is better in a bottle like this, the quick dry formula is the answer. A pump dispenser will be stuck in no time.

Overall? Must try!!

Belif First Aid Deep Pore Care Mask

Hi gorgeous,
on weekly basis mask is one of the thing that enhance the skin performance. Wide variety of choices sometime does make picking them into an ample homework plus the trial and errors seems endless. I often went to brands that I knew well and start from there. My skin is sensitive and wont easily give up to just any mask.

Belif is one of the brand that I trusted and love. The series of masks are called First Aid and it comes in different variation accordingly.

This time I'll review the Deep Pore Care Mask.

Details from

Product Description

A green clay mask with a deep cleansing effect. Natural French Green Clay and Raspberry leaf extract with pore-minimizing properties thoroughly penetrates pores to remove excess sebum and impurities.

No addition of

Mineral oil, Synthetic fragrance, Synthetic dyes, Synthetic preservatives, Animal-origin ingredients.

To Use

Use once or twice a week. After cleansing and toning skin, apply a thin layer and gently smooth over face avoiding the eye and mouth area. Leave on 10 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm, then cool water.

The thick clay colored somewhat between grey and whitish brownish grey. The smell is lovely and away from yucky. Smooth and easily distributed on a clean face, you may apply a toner right before the mask or spray some facial spritz. Then let the clay work by keeping yourself rested for 10-20 minutes.

The clay will slightly harden and the skin feel a bit pull. For me the experience is pleasing. I didn't feel any negative reactions (such as allergy, pain, discomfort, etc). After the minutes are up I clean the mask with a warm water and careful not to overly stripped the mask away, just splash a few times until the clay is start to loosen up and let the water soaks the hardened part before using a gentle sponge/cotton/just your finger tips and gently remove the clay away. I feel the cleanliness on the skin, like the pores are getting their-selves purified.

Splash a cold water and have your skin tightens. It was a wonderful experience and I can see my self using the mask on a weekly basis to keep them fresh, clean and less clogged pores.

Naris Libertage Wrinkle Series (Lotion Moist, Lotion Rich Moist, Essence, and Milk)

Hi everyone,

this is a post for those above 30 till 40. Libertage Wrinkle series from Naris. A brand from 1932 and has been a top 20 in Japan.

All the details here are provided by Naris Indonesia.

The series comes in anti wrinkle lines and brightening, I'm sharing the anti wrinkle here and brightening at another post.

The idea behind the products,

These are the products given to me, series of serum and lotions (from anti wrinkle series).

There's 4 bottles in total, another one can be found far below. Let's start by these three.

Naris Libertage Wrinkle Essence, a serum. Naris Libertage Milk and Rich Moist.

All of these products are made in Japan.

All lotions are to be used on a freshly cleaned face, just like a toner and cottons is needed. Followed by milk or emulsion then a serum or essence. After all of these you still need a moisturizer (not presented here).

There are two sets of lotions here, Rich Moist for dryer skin and Lotion Moist for normal to dry skin type. No need to use both of the lotion, just pick one accordingly.

This is the fourth product. Wrinkle Lotion Moist.

Lotions are needed to help soften the skin so the next step will be easier to be absorbed on the skin.
Remember that a damp skin always hydrates better and retain the nourishment longer compared to a dry surface.

The Lotion Moist for me is best used during the day and the Rich Moist during the night treatment, so when I sleep the skin stays moist and plumped.

This is the essence, I found them to be very light in texture but be careful not to use too much as the ingredients are quite active and too much means acne.

I've used the serum with other brand of pre-serum, moisturizer, etc and so far it work well, but I'm sure it'll work better with the products from the same brand and range.

Let's see their texture shall we?

A gooey dewy like liquid with yellow-orange spots that will burst when pressed. The texture is very light on the skin but rich in ingredient. First hydration is infused, then plumping up the skin and adding some moist effect and collagen too, for me it's always about collagen and vit e that might cause some acne, so I use less than recommended amount.

The milk is used after lotion, it help with moisturizing the skin right before serum/essence. If moisturizer stays outside of the skin, the milk can be absorbed into skin layers better so the skin stays moist-er. This is perfect if you have dry skin, but some whose oily might want to skip this part. Me? I use the milk just few drops and it was smooth sailing all day long. No more cracking and the skin stays hydrated in an air conditioned room all day long.

The sagging skin become firmer due to the plumping effect. But I can't feel a tightening pull like other firming products, they work in different method.

The Wrinkle Lotion Moist is clear and watery, the lightest form above every product here. The Rich Moist doesn't look much different (seen in the picture above). Easily used with a cotton to help improve skin condition. Cotton also widely used with toner/lotion to help gently polished the skin surface.

These are all three in comparison.

I love their texture, it's like watery, gooey, milky and so light to the touch. I don't have to use too much and the whole bottle usually last for a month. The skin able to get the moisture intended without feeling or being so heavy. So the skin still have room to breath. Remember a moisturizer is still needed after the serum/essence, but use less than usual since the lotion, milk, and serum already hydrating the skin on inner layer.

This the one mentioned above, the lightest one.

both lotions are light on the skin, while the rich I use at night and the moist for daytime. The milk is lovely but use just a few drops should be enough for that radiant glow on the skin, the serum also wonderful on the skin for a plumping effect and help smoothen out the lines. Deeper lines might need more times (like months) compared to finer lines which visibly reduced in a month. If all of these already felt effective, a simple hydrating moisturizer is suffice but if the skin really dry and coarse a rich moisturizer is better.

I know that most of us since living in a humid and hot climate tend to skin moisturizer or refuse to use some of the lotion/milk. The thing is each of these products has their own benefit which will be advantageous for our skin if used accordingly.
