Kocostar Therapy Series

a while ago I share several posts for Kocostar regarding their slice fruits and flower masks. They are cute, adorable and comes in irresistible variants.

Aside from those colorful masks, Kocostar also launches several other masks made for therapy, they called it therapy series. I have one for the hands, one for the nails and one for the hair.

They are all easy to be used, perfect for those relaxing time at home, or perhaps for the nail and hand, you can use it while sitting in a car or plane during traveling.

Details are given in English on each of the container.

For the hair mask, just apply the mask using the cap on a clean hair, right after shampoo and towel dry.

For the hand and the one for the nails, just put them on while they are dry and clean.

All of these masks are made to be sit for around 15-20 minutes.

1. After shampoo, dry hair slightly
2. Wear the hair cap and put all hair inside
3. Fasten the cap with sticker and massage gently to absorb rich nutrition into your hair
4. Leave on for 15 minutes and rinse the hair thoroughly
5. Try not to apply on scalp
6. Best results when used weekly

The product comes inside this cap we can simply use on the head. The creamy formula are there. They smell flowery and soft.

When using the cap, it was pretty much warm and I can't use it longer than 25 minutes, I just feel uncomfortable using it for a long period, like it was too stuffy.

The orange cap is light but perhaps since it was filled with mask (not really abundantly, suffice and cover the hair just fine) and plastic, I feel like my head can't breathe. I don't know how that made sense, but it did.

Anyway, After 20 minutes I'm taking it off and feel the air is so cool.

I rinse it off with a tepid water and feel my hair become so soft. So does the floor in my bathroom, everything feels so slippery.

I can easily comb them and enjoy my hair being tame again. No dryness felt nor looking coarse, like they are normal again.

And as usual, these kind of result is not permanent, I have to regularly mask my hair to maintain it's condition. So my hair can look like hair again and shine.

1. Peel open each pack and put on mask on each finger
2. Leave on for 30 minutes to 1 hour
3. Massage remaining liquid from mask in the fingernail area onto fingernails and fingertips after removing mask from each finger
4. Use as needed

Next in line, is their nail pack. This is unique. Most products comes in a form of a tube, cuticle formula or well, hand cream. This one is in packs where each finger gets it's own home.

Inside the white lotion is waiting, to soften and made them feel comfortable.

15-20 minutes while watching TV fly by. Since I can't use them with my smartphone hence watching TV is my only option.

This is a unique experience for sure. The lemon citrus aroma is fresh and the lotion made the nails looks shiny too. I hope it nourish my nails as I color them often.

When I took it off, there's still some lotion left and I just distribute it evenly and wait for another 10 minutes or rinse it since I kinda need my fingers. Even after rinsing, the nails and fingers which are previously inside those pack still feel so soft and smooth. The aroma is definitely gone after rinsing but the effect is still there for the whole day.

Continue with a Hand Therapy Pack. Like it's name, it was made for the hand and yes, a glove is definitely included. The hair has it's cap, the nails has their own individual packs, and for sure, the hands also has theirs.

Open it up and inside the gloves are the lotion as well. Just put the hands and fingers on every section correctly and voila, wait for 20 minutes and enjoy the delightful scent. This one is pretty fragrant.

And yes, I can't play with my smartphone when using the gloves. TV is a good option or take a nap. Waking up, open the gloves, and there's still some white lotions lefts on the skin like the image below.

Simply massage the leftovers or rinse it when you need a squeaky clean hands like I do. The skin will remain soft and smooth even after rinsing and this treatment is suitable to be repeated once a week for hands that always soft and smooth.

Kocostar Slice Mask Sheet

Hello lovelies,

I'm back with a review for Kocostar. This time it is for their slice mask sheets that comes in Tomato (contain Lycopene that tackles free radicals and prevent aging), Lemon (vitamin c that brightens the skin), Cucumber (high moisturizing agent).

And yes, I love using them all at once.

They look so cute and smells good, especially cucumber, the scent is so fresh and irresistible.

These are the products and I think they are getting a lot of raves nowadays for their unique packaging and design. They look like slices fruits.

When opened, you can't help but wonder the resemblance, like looking at a real sliced cucumber isn't it.

This is actually the first mask I've tried from Kocostar.

So the middle part is plastic, and the masks are sticking to the sheets as it is. There's the front and back part, so the totals are 12 separated sheets that comes in the shape and color and design like the ingredients inside the formula, or at least the main highlighted ingredient.

Once you take them off, they'll be like these empty 'shells' or holes on the plastic.

The sheets are pretty thin and can be easily stick to the skin and stay until they are dry, they dry pretty fast. Around 10 minutes and a few of them already taking off from my skin. Perhaps since I do have dry skin so they drank fast.

These cucumber are super cute. Fragrant, moisturizing and gives my skin plenty of hydration. It also a bit cooling on the skin.

And I find that the cucumber is my favorite, I even save some to be used on my cheeks when applying the tomato masks.

The tomato provide more freshness to the skin and look at the details of the product, it even made them look like there's tiny seeds. The color is so vibrant and bright like a real fresh tomatoes.

Daily masks has become my daily necessities now, the formula is absorbed faster and better too than using serum and let it left on the skin. Perhaps we do need to take some time when using serum, they need around 10-15 minutes to be fully taken by our skin. Like these masks does. We can simply top it off with our own moisturizer right after the mask.

Enjoy a softer and moister skin than before. Perfect for those who have dry skin, normal to even oily. Like these lemons, those with oily skin will prefer formula that gives the skin a much more 'zest-ing' effect that help brightens and lift up the skin vitality.

Overall,

another fun and fresh way to use mask, they don't cover the whole face but can be used on areas we prefer and mix and match them as we pleased.

Kocostar Flower Mask Sheet

Hello lovelies,

look at these babies from Kocostar. They are masks in a form of flower petals. Mine are in sunflower, rose and tulip.

Kocostar Flower Mask Sheet are face masks that help hydrating the skin (face or body) with a relaxation effect with floral aroma.

Rose, with rose water that help aiding skin structure that are dull and dry.
Tulip, moisten the skin.
Sunflower, rich in antioxidant, preventing dark spots and lines.

I've tried all of them and they are pretty easy to be used. Unlike most face mask where it was just one sheet. This one comes in a many smaller sheets, and we can simply use it on areas that we see fits.

Their sizes also slightly different, adjust on where to put it, like on wide areas such as forehead or cheeks, I'm using the wider ones.

The rose petals has funny shapes, and it is not as vivid ad other form, it was kinda like a bit of abstract. The mask was used like any other mask, on a cleaned skin, and we can simply use toner and serum before putting on the mask. The mask itself does provide moisture effects on the skin, but the scent is pretty mild. I was expecting a burst of roses, but it turns out to be so subtle.

Similar to the roses are the tulips. They come in purple color and very easy to be used as well. But, I don't really felt any differences in terms of effect on my skin, they just moist and so far nothing else. Perhaps they need to be used on daily basis for more than a month.

Inside each container, there's around a dozen petals, but I find them a bit lack in terms of number, since they are not like most face mask that cover the whole face. So it was just the ones that are covered by the petals. But they do look pretty and perfect for instagram posts >.<

Especially when they are used altogether like this.  Flower power mix and match. They look so pretty right, like I was taking a romantic theme mask. Each of them with their own function and benefit creates the perfect harmony for my skin, making them feels soft and moist.

My favorite is of course, the sunflower, they are yellow and bright. Their shapes are so cute and looks good on me.

So there you go, as you can see, they are great for photos and in terms of function, perfect for you who prefer selected areas when using mask. The package itself is not resealable, but you can put them inside a clean closed container if you prefer to use them bits by bits. Pop them inside the fridge so they wont get spoiled and ready to be used when you want them, plus the cooling properties after being chilled is really good too.

These babies are not reusable, so toss them off after each usage. Once open and placed on a closed clean container should be used no longer than 48 hours for hygienic reasons, at least, that's how I do it.

Conclusion,

a cute and adorable way to use a mask, masks that made the skin feels hydrated and moist. Easily used and the 'wetness' is just right. The masks can be used on daily basis, even twice a day too.
