5 Best Face Wash For Any Skin Type

sorry for being mia for quite some time, it's been like a down time for me. Usually on my period somehow I'm far weaker than usual, still, without further ado, collaborating with Komunitas Beauty Blogger & Vlogger KBBV in this beautiful month of January 2018, here are some of my utmost favorite face wash and I highly recommended them as it is so versatile, any genre, gender and age may use. They may are made for certain skin type but they do works on any.

Start with Clinique Liquid Facial Soap in Mild, yes it is mild, but it made beautiful bubbles and froth that cleans the skin without causing them to dry. From sensitive, dry, normal to oily skin can enjoy the cleansing ability as it is so smooth and soft. Don't underestimate the 'mildness' as it still effective and can be use as often as you want.

I let the whole family enjoy using the product and they all do enjoy it. From the kids to my husband acne and oily prone skin.

Next in line, is from my favorite brand too, which unfortunately not yet available in Indonesia, Neutrogena. It was made to wonder.

It is a liquid cleanser alright but made to amaze as we can use it on dry skin with makeups on, so it's like cleansing oil, but after letting the makeup melts, add some water and it turns into a face wash, just like any face wash it bubbles up and cleans thoroughly. Some even say that it is the best of both world as it cleanse like cleansing oil but with the squeaky clean feeling of a face wash.

Those who seeks for an all in one solution should try this product and it comes in 3 variants too for brightening, normal to hydrating.

The product comes in a pump bottle and clear gel, smells good and works well. But on some hard waterproof makeup, do clean them first using a real oily base makeup remover before proceeding to this product.

Back in the old days, there's this powder that turns into cleanser, it's kinda like detergent for the clothing :D Somehow reminds me of that (oops). But this thingy is for the face and it comes with enzyme hence it has to be kept in dry form.

When you are ready to use it, pour some powder on a clean hand and add a bit water to work it through. They'll bubbles up almost immediately and use that bubbles to clean the skin. By making them wet and foaming it up, we activate the product and it become ready to be used.

Now as the product has been activated, it will clean the skin all the way to the pores, and it felt so good. The skin feels very clean, if you're looking for a squeaky clean feeling and this is it. But afterwards they'll smooth the skin up and they wont feel dry.

What I love about the product is that they'll take the dead skin off too, it'll make the skin appear brighter in an instant as it take the dullness away.

Three Balancing Foam is probably the most exclusive of them all as it was made with special ingredients and smells so special too. Like a garden of citrus just bursting into my senses.

The product comes in a thick white cream and as any other Japanese facial wash, it bubbles up like whipped cream at it's peak. It lathers on beautifully, so soft and irresistible. I love it so much and everyone in the family enjoying it so much too as it works really well in cleansing the skin. They are not a makeup remover but it cleanse traces of makeup remover and daily debris in an instant. A refreshing feeling is unavoidable and I believe there's many skincare benefits as well, as the price perhaps should equivalent to the effect :D

And if you're looking for a much more friendlier price, always try a drug store brand like Kracie, Naive Aloe Vera foaming facial wash that also bubbles up abundantly and creating a soft whipped cream like foam with a faint and very subtle scent.

The cream is thick and white, kinda similar to most products that bubbles up like this, I guess Japanese people really like these kind of products that foamed up without fail, even when I turn the bowl upside down they will not fall.

There's many (like really a lot) foaming facial wash from Japan that are like this, so you can simply choose according to the budget, scent, and perhaps accessibility as they are kinda similar in terms of benefit, the fun is in the bubbles that said to clean all the way to the pores.

So there you go, from drug store to high end. From liquid to thick cream, they are all suitable for all skin type and easy to be used. We all love those bubbles in our face wash and I don't think we'll ever get over it, they are a never ending trend. -*-

Clinique Pop Matte

yesterday was a colorful day indeed, Clinique has just officially launched their new addition to the Pop family, it's Pop Matte Lip Colour + Primer and Pop Liquid Matte Lip Colour + Primer.

Located at Atico by Javanegara, the event was a full house. It started with registration and everyone has to pick their shade. Each shade may come in two variant, the Pop Matte Lip Colour or Pop Liquid Matte Lip Colour. What does it means? One comes in a 'regular' form of a lipstick while the other is a liquid lipstick.

Pop Matte Lip Colour comes with 16 shades in total and Pop Liquid Matte Lip Colour in 8 shades. You can choose from bright red, deep plum, to nudes and lovely pinks.

As for me, from Ripe Pop, Petal Pop, Flame Pop, .... noticed all the 'Pop' behind each shade?! I choose Boom Pop Liquid Lip Matte Lip Colour as my first option. The texture is smooth, creamy, rich and thick. The color is sublime, it's so there and gorgeous, no need guessing on how it will comes out on the lips or skin, it'll come as it is.

The color is build-able but stay true to it shade. Covers by hide every imperfection, mild in scent, demi matte, provide comfort for long wear, not waterproof nor kiss proof, but resist water although not thoroughly, easily cleansed using makeup remover or cleansing wipes and still doesn't leave a dry ends.

And above is me using Cake Pop, it's the nudest one in the Liquid Matte family. Some of the shades are available in both texture, while some only on certain texture (lipstick or liquid). I prefer the liquid since it already have the applicator, lipstick is fine but I love using a lip brush for that perfected finish.

i don't know about you, but there are times where I don't know which problems I have to deal first, is it the spots, lines or loss of firmness or even uneven skin tone, now, a serum that help me 'erase' all of those problems.

Above are the list of ingredients, there's really a lot isn't it?!

When I first got the product, the thing that comes into my mind is that, "wow, this is exactly what I need" and all in one solution so I don't have to use multiple serum, or use one serum at a time and then change on another time for another issue. This could be my all at once solution, but still, I do have some doubts as can a serum be that good, would it be too rich or too much?

First, let's start with the container, it look sleek and sophisticate-ly smart in this clear with metal inner tube and details in black. The pump is always an excellent choice for a skincare since it helps in terms of being hygienic and practicality.

Two pumps is around this much and this is what the serum looks like. Slightly gooey, like a gel, but in this milky dark yellowish tone, and surprisingly very comfortable when used.

Apply it on clean skin after cleansing and toning, spread evenly using a light massaging movement upwards direction and the first thing I felt is a firming action when the gels are melting onto the skin. I enjoy the feeling when using the serum, like a thin film that covering the whole skin, creating magic.

After the serum, I proceed with a moisturizer that provide mainly moisture from the Clinique family as well, dramatically different moisturizing lotion + for very dry to dry combination skin. And they works well together. The serum provided everything else that I need aside from the moisturizer and the moisturizer provide moisture, for me it's a match.

I love how my skin become firmer, more radiant, less problems from the agings dilemma like dark spots, uneven skin tone and lines. The effects are not dramatics but on weekly basis and the skin will keep on improving from week to week.

Overall, one of my favorite serum in terms of texture and efficacy, and definitely one of the smartest serum I've used since it tackles so many problems at once and I do recommend it for anyone above 30 or perhaps when you see many things wants to be fixed altogether without wasting your time.

When used, I don't experience any allergic reaction, redness, nor any discomfort. The serum also works well with moisturizers and doesn't leave a sticky nor greasy end.

finally after going back and forth sharing about this one item I've been using since December, I'm making one now. It's an item that practically free thanks to Changi's recent promotion for every transiting passenger will get SGD 40 and there's 4 of us traveling to Hong Kong via Singapore.

I've been eyeing on the brush since months ago when it is launched in Singapore, finally I can get my hands on them.

The product sold in a bundle consist of a charger, a brush, and the tool. They also sells brush replacements in three and one for the men. I got a starter pack and get one brush for my husband as well.

The bristles are soft and comfortable, when I was there the first time in August, the staff at Clinique told me it only comes in one type of brush and it is very very gentle. Now, there's more types, one for the men, and another for acne prone skin.

This is the original brush that was made for everyone and in the ads, it says that it was gentle enough that it wont even damaged a flower petal.

And from my personal experience, it is best used with a cleanser from Clinique, my favorite is the liquid facial wash in mild.

They made a light frothy foam together, and it gives the skin a nice clean feeling.

I'm using it as an all around face cleaner, since my cheeks are sensitive I'm using it less than 15 seconds and more as an all around-er method for all over the face using circular motion, from the outer to the inner and focusing on the t-zone, and I could never overdo it since the Sonic System will automatically turn off after 30 seconds.

Why do I choose Clinique's Sonic System Purifying Cleansing Brush is attached to their brand itself that have a good reputation, the details shared by the website is clear and ehm convincing, plus Clinique has always been a brand that deliver real results and this product also, it pretty much give everything it claims to be. It is the right tool for cleansing and made for just about anyone, including those who are new. My daughter is in her pre-teen age and needs facial cleansing too, by using the Sonic System Purifying Clensing Brush helps her cleans her skin well and gentle too.

She doesn't need to do it every day, just around twice a month or when her skin is really dirty. The purifying ability helps remove dull skin on daily basis for adults but not necessarily need by those who are still young or have a very good skin turnover.

The one for the men as well, my husband feels the cleansing ability without irritation nor damaging his skin.

Overall,

A good cleansing brush that cleans and purify the skin for a never-goes-dull looking skin. The bonus effect is that skincare will absorbed easier and makeup looks more flawless since the nauseating dead skin cells are unlike to formed here and there. A smoother surface is seen and general cleansing achieved without causing any irritation and problems as well. The anti bacterial brush helps making sure the brush stays germ-free since it can be damp most of the time.

As usual, treat this brush like a tooth brush, personal and co-sharing is not advice.

Use a good cleanser agent alongside with the tool for a better cleansing experience that shows love to your skin.

I don't need to scrub and exfoliate my skin since using the product.

Use it with a sponge, brush or even fingers, I don't really have a preference since it works well every single time, every single method.

After using skincare from toner, serum and moisturizer, I use the foundation plus concealer in a go.

Below is my before makeup look, just after skincare.

Redness, fine lines, uneven skin tones are all visible.

I use the product as a foundation fist and dab a few more as a concealer on certain areas like under the nose.

The result is a spotless impeccable finish that feels so light and and airy.

Add just a dust of loose powder for Jakarta's humidity and the base is pretty much finish.

I love the softness, velvety and flawless base on every angle responsive to the lights. The base also perfect for a long wear as it stays comfortable for hours and hours even after sebum and humidity. Just use a compact powder or loose powder for added matte finish but if one prefer a dewy complexion, powder is not needed.

It really is like a second skin and I enjoy. For those who wants more coverage can gently layered the products and it doesn't set instantly, on my skin it took around a few minutes, so I have plenty of time to blend.

Overall, a pretty easy foundation and concealer in one. A good sun protection product is still needed upon using it but overall it is an all in one base solution for a dewy finish and add some powders for a matte one. Touch up doesn't really needed except for powders when in need for matte power.

I do recommend the product for anyone for daily use as it give the skin a decent flawless skin without the weight whatsoever and very easy to be used by just about anyone.
