Without further ado, here's my review on both products. First of all, is the biased for all Original Source, I already love them. What can I say, I'm a big sucker in terms of Original Source and in Indonesia, their prices are so affordable, they seriously enhance my showering experience from lazy to actively seeking for a shower time. It doesn't come in a better time than this, a pregnant lady often feels the heat as their body temperature rises, we do sweat a lot and showering 3 times a day can be a dull routine ..... not anymore ladies and gentlemen!! Again, thanks to Original Source.

I want to start sharing this post's review with Cranberry & Honey Daily Scrub, first of all, it smells so sweet and endearing. The skin loves the mild and natural scrub particle that looks like from fruits, is it from strawberry? (This is actually a real question). So it was so mild, hence I understand why it is suitable for daily usage and the lathering effect is wonderful too. When about to be used, the oh-so-thick-creamy texture getting out from the packaging like squeezing a pink condensed milk from a tube, heehee, this alone has been a fun experience for me. Then, when lathered on, it feels so sticky (and still fun), bubbles up easily all over the body, making them clean, soft, gently scrubbed, and best of all, smells fruity and yummy!!! Seriously, I almost lick it, it was close (too close).

Then the Mint & Walnut Super Scrub, oohh!! I think the word super comes from the minty feeling that like taking a shower with liquid mentos (really). Details from Original Source UK:

Some days showering is just not enough, so we have teamed up our legendary 7,927 real mint leaves with the exfoliating properties of the walnut and created you one intense natural experience. Use a couple of times a week to get some seriously tingling soft bits.

So, unlike the Cranberry & Honey, the Mint & Walnut is to be used 2-3 times a week and not on daily basis, there are more particles and exfoliating properties as well, and the mint is just refreshing and feels so cold. My advice, use it during the day, not on a cold rainy days.

Curious to see what's inside? Here they are, aren't they so damn lovable?! Gooey, jelly-like and if only you can smell them, it's like mint ice cream for the Mint & Walnut and creamy sweet cranberry milkshake for the Cranberry & Honey. It is definitely a mood booster just by smelling them. Imagine taking a shower with them heehee, can't get enough for sure.

Psstttt, I keep rambling about the texture, sensation and scent, but forgot to mentioned how it felt on the skin, Original Source products doesn't make the skin suffer with dryness, the gentle (yet awesome) formula is skin friendly and wont strip off the skin's moisture like most soap do. 

Kiehl's Skin Rescuer

Heehee, I guess it is not a secret anymore for those who reads my blog constantly that I'm a big fan of Kiehl's. This skincare brand seems to have me falling for them since Ultra Facial Cream years ago. I turn many believers into Kiehl's as well haha!

Now, they has come with one of the newest item in the market called Skin Rescuer, a product that I have been eye-ing since they launch in USA.

And it is not a secret that a pregnant lady usually tend to have a more stressful skin than usual. For me at least. Like out of nowhere the skin somehow grew to be more sensitive and easily angry, from redness to acne prone. It was like a whole different situation than normal. There are serums that helps calm the skin but this is the first moisturizer I uses that actually work well in hydrating the skin and gently calming the skin.

I've discussed the product with Kiehl's Indonesia about Skin Rescuer, the fact is the product really is can be used as a short term relieve or long term usage if one's feels really comfortable in none but Skin Rescuer. So if you feel like the skin are getting better and want to switch to other product go ahead, and anyone can simply come back using Skin Rescuer when the skin seems to be in need.

If I'm on the normal condition (non pregnant), I think I would like to use Skin Rescuer when I'm down with flu (irritation usually occur when in fever), the skin get rashes, or other discomfort due to the stress, like when traveling long distance.

The white lotion is really helpful and I found it comforting as well. It doesn't have any scent and on the skin it doesn't give the skin any undesired sensation, just like putting on a nice moisturizer. I think the product is suitable for almost all skin type. Compatible with any serum available at Kiehl's and some other brand as well, but when the skin is under stressful condition or irritated, please do careful in choosing the serum for the skin.

The 'rescuing' effect can be felt almost immediately after the first usage for mild stress to around 1-2 weeks for medium level of stress.

Now, what does the product do to me?

To understand the effect, let me explain a bit about skin sensitivity, which varies from light to severe, occasionally appears due to hormonal system, environmental factors, or other external or internal aggressors.

Mine is light and depends on my hormonal (currently pregnant) and occasionally happens, like when I'm using the wrong products. This serum enable me to keep my sensitivity controlled. I think the product would have a more visible result to those with severe sensitivity, like those with noticeable redness.

Overall, for me this is the serum to be used when in need, so I'm not using it all the time, but when I suffer from sensitivity. The product can be used by any gender and I let my daughter use it when she have a skin inflammation or sensitivity as well. The serum can be use for the face as well as the body's skin.

The serum gives the skin a comfortable feeling after a while, so don't expect it to be an instant elixir (perhaps on a severe condition), use it on a clean skin and routinely until you see the result.

The serum easily absorbed by the skin, it doesn't and never leave any residue nor discomfort. Then I continue by using lotion, moisturizer and so on. So the serum is the first product I use after cleaning the skin, even before toner.

My review:

The lovely fresh rosewater is a delight on the skin and can be use like anytime. I use it after cleaning the face, as a refresher, toner and throughout the day when bored ehm the air feels dry on the skin. This stuff is especially handy when I'm in the hospital. The constant air conditioner and the limited movement I can do due to all those medication and attached infusion to the vein which made me literally have to stay on the bed. I can't take showers and clean up as I normally due and the skin does suffer from the poor cleaning and limited moisturizing.

This spritz is a lovely alternative which can be used anytime, in sickness and in health ^0^ I can use it inside the car when the humidity is low and the skin is suffering due to the heat and unpleasant condition (that gives stress), it helps cleaning the skin as well as toning it instantly, can be used all over (facial skin as well as body skin), plus hair as well. Last but not least, it can be used by everyone, unisex and travel friendly too.

Suitable for those staying in a dry climate or room constantly, like a toning effect when using toner (with cotton pad), need a boost of refreshing effect anytime of the day, and did make the makeup looks more natural (when used after putting on makeup).
