Lakme Classics Reinvent Brightening Foundation, Compact Powder, and Eyebrow Pencil

Hello lovelies,

this time I'm back with makeup from Lakme Classic Reinvent brightening foundation, compact powder, and eyebrow pencils. A set makeup that recently been shared by Lakme Cosmetics. Now, this one is actually a range that was more affordable alias murah sis. Foundienya aja Rp.79k dan pencil alisnya Rp.49k, so they are realllyy budget friendly.

But still, even thou' they are in the budget friendly zone, they are still good and for me? Effective in so many ways possible.

I couldn't really find details about them on the web.But Lakme gladly handed me some of the product information needed and I'm going to pass some to you.

First, let's start with Skin Brightening Foundation yang waterbased, jadi clearly, jauh lebih ringan daripada yang oil based ya. Meski terasa ringan dan melembabkan, jangan salah, coverage-nya buildable, pemakaian 2-3 kali udah nutup banget semua yang perlu di"hilangkan". Ada kandungan niacinamide, nah inilah bahan yang bantu memcerahkan kulit.

Foundationnya ada 4 shades yaitu Fair, Light, Medium dan Deep yang menurut aku ini udah cukup banget pas buat kulit orang Indonesia or perhaps Asian too. Karena perbedaan 1 shade ke yang lainnya cukup lumayan, dibawah adalah foto swatch compact powder dan foundation shade Fair dan Light.

Paling terang adalah Fair, 2 swatch pertama dari kiri adalah powder dan foundie Fair, dan dua dari kanan adalah foundie dan compact Light. Keliatan banget kan bedanya, jadi jangan salah, meski gak tersedia dalam 40 shades yang bedanya tipis-tipis, ini bisa di mixed antara 4 (fair, Light, Medium, Deep) untuk adjust ke warna sesuai dengan yang kamu inginkan.

Meski memang mungkin buat yang kulitnya super gelap, shade nya belum mumpuni, jadi buat saudara kita yang dari Papua contohnya, mungkin harus cari brand lain. Semoga someday shade Lakme lebih banyak ya.

Finishnya efek natural matte, yang aku sih merasa cocok, karena pas buat sehari-hari, gak matte kering, gak dewy gossy juga yang  kadang kalau dipakai outdoor jadi kayak super shiny. Tapi foundienya bisa di blend dengan produk lain until I get the right finish that I want. If I want it to be super matte, just add matte powder in finishing and if I want a dewy complexion, I can focus on glowing base as well.

Cleaning the product after use and like on all of other makeup, simply use a makeup remover all over.

Now, let's continue with the next item, the compact.

Compact powder rasanya masih cukup heits ya buat dipakai sehari-hari, dengan wet sponge atau dry brush, untuk mendapatkan hasil yang berbeda. Mengandung vitamin B3 and skin brightening pearl.

Shade nya sama dengan foundie, ada 4 dan namanya juga sama, Fair, Light, Medium dan Deep. Deep bisa dipakai untuk contour dan eyeshadow, seperti semua makeup ya, apa yang bisa dipakai di bagian muka ya bisa buat semuka hehe. Seperti lipstik bisa buat cheek cream, eyeshadow yang bisa buat shading, dsb.

Mari kembali ke compact powder yang kacanya cukup buat aku sumringah karena the size itself is big and satisfying. Puff nya sih standart dan bisa diganti dengan tools favorit, which for me, powder brush. Coveragenya juga buildable, jadi setelah pakai foundie lalu ditambah dengan compact powder ini bisa maksimal menutup segala permasalahan di kulit, nah soal harga? Rp 69k saja. Bayangkan budget friendly banget kan.

Buat aku pribadi, foundie dan powdernya pas buat dipakai sehari-hari tanpa bikin kantong jebol, dan perasaan saat menggunakan kedua produk ini juga cukup nyamanm bahkan agak-agak kaya tidak berasa pakai apapun, karena memang lightweight. Mungkin karena foundie yang water based tadi cukup berperan dibanding yang thick creamy apalagi oily texture.

Dengan alasan ringan in pulalah, mereka saat dipakai berbarengan lebih awet di kulit. Engga terasa pakai. And one more thing, the powder contain SPF 20 which is light I know, tapi lumayan buat nambah-nambahin SPF di kulit daripada engga ada.

Sekarang, mari kita mengupas eyebrow pencils nya yang ada pilihan brown dan black. Pada foto diatas, I'm using their brown shade which already seems deep enough for me, still, I like the black one too since it add a different dimension on me. Jadi paling pakainya sesuai mood/ look yang diinginkan.

Produk seharga Rp. 40k ini, paraben dan oil free. Mengandung Vit E, mudah digunakan dan mudah diblend. Meski pensilnya kelihatan kering, di alis tetep super nyaman dan nempel banget di alis. Jadi pas pakai, pelan-pelan aja ya, jangan terlalu diteken biar gak bold sangat.

1 hal yang aku suka meski mereka gak waterproof, tapi staying powernya dapet dan smudge resistant. Jangan digosok-gosok juga, pasti ada pengaruhnya. Bersihkan dengan makeup remover sih gampang ya, sekali swipe juga hilang (oil base makeup remover), yang artinya, kalau kamu super oily dan gampang banget keringetan, tambahkan sedikit mattefying powder di alis, biar pensilnya lebih awet stay disana.

Tidak dilengkapi dengan serutan dan brush ya, jadi silahkan pakai serutan dan brush eyebrow lain hehe.

Jujur ini pensil alis yang cukup murah tapi very good. I really love it apalagi pas diserut gak gampang patah atau lumer, jadi gak ngotorin serutan juga kaya yang model crayon bleber gitu. Pas diserut sampe runcing, bisa bikin garis-garis super halus kaya baru habis sulam alis, sukaaaa banget!

Meski harganya budget friendly (banget) bukan berarti produk murahan yaaa, so far kulit aku gak ada iritasi atau masalah selama pemakaian, dan jangan lupa hukum yang berlaku untuk semua makeup, dibersihkan dengan seksama dan jangan dibawa tidur. Lalu kalau bergadang boleh? Yah jangan lah ya, setelah sekitar 8 jam cukup lah, dibersihkan saja kulitnya dan kalau butuh makeup lagi dibersihkan dulu, diberi skincare dulu, baru makeupan lagi.

Semua detail cukup ada di kemasannya, jadi silahkan dibaca di bagian box sebelum dibuang hehe.

Lakmé Absolute Reinvent x Anggie Rassly Precision Marble Eyebrow Pencil

finally, after months of thinking I've done the review on my blog, I know remember, I have none. Really sorry for everyone, oops, my bad. I think I'm overly excited with the giveaway, the goods itself and I'm traveling a lot lately, so even thou' I brought and been using the products often, I didn't really have time to write it down, well, here it is.

After months and months of using the eyebrow pencil, I think this post should be suffice heehee.

Thank goodness I still have pictures from the event, it was luxurious and classy isn't it?! The gold and black are a match like the product itself. Precision Marble Eyebrow Pencil comes in two shades of grey and brown. A two most sought after shades for eyebrows since they provide a more natural impact and the marble formula itself is a trademark which made us able to create a finer looking brows.

Anggie herself share with us during the event, that she always use more than one color to create her signature eyebrows for her client, maybe this is also one of her secret.

The product comes in a box where you don't just get a product, but a sharpener as well. Not just a cheap sharpener but a good quality one that is pretty reliable. The pencil itself is not too soft, it's perfectly made as it doesn't crumble easily when sharpened, yet still gentle on the skin. The colors does stick on the skin and hair without fail and hold on to it until being cleaned.

The Eyebrow Pencil is not waterproof nor rub proof. But it does have staying power, so it's more like a water resistant. As long as we don't keep on rubbing it off, the brows will stay put.

The pencil also comes with a brush on the other end. So this is I suppose an all in one product made with care by Lakme Absolute Reinvent, you don't have to worry about getting a sharpener and another separated brush. These babies works together in harmony.

The pencil itself come in a perfect size, not too tiny and not too big, you know, like a chubby stick.

I love the black color with shiny words. It's glistening in every angle.

The marble-ness can be seen on the product. It appear like a multicolored pencil, which it is.

Lakme Moon-Lit Highlighter is here, this is a highlighter and bronzer in one for those who want their look still appear natural and never overwhelming.

That's the swatch, they look so gorgeous right?! Like the glow is very pretty and perfect for either day or night. I can use the bright ones on areas I want to highlight and brown one for bronzing, or people nowadays know it as contour. The powder is soft and smooth on the skin, easily applied and doesn't chalk on. It spread on the skin really well no matter what kind of powder brush I use. Simply applied with smaller brush for areas such as nose bridge or the inner corner of the eyes and wider brush for cheeks.

For me, the best thing about Moon-Lit Highlighter is how they play with light. It's not that kind of greasy glow or something that made people look in a irk way but it's just a pretty subtle gorgeous glow and it helps shape the feature, which for me, clearly it's the bronzer.

You do know what people say, right? Those with dark skin focus on highlighting while those with fair skin can focus on contouring.

The first thing I do is checking it's consistency, texture and feeling on the skin. The product is smooth, velvety, demi matte, and the color is vividly true. The product is water resistant and not easily wiped off too, it stays with a good power. Cleaning it with an oil base makeup remover is easy so careful when eating greasy food as they'll also melt.

So there you go, a gorgeous lipstick with primer that last and matte finish that you'll love without making the lips coarsely dry.

these are babies from Lakme, it's their 9to5 series where it said to give a long lasting makeup experience that last on the whole active day, considerately 9to5 as working hours, it is simply a clever way saying this makeup will stays put.

These are the texture of the products and see how the lip and cheek when blended onto the skin, it will create a lovely gradation. Mine was in Fuchsia and the mousse foundation is in Rose Honey and it's kinda too dark for me. The tone is a bit reddish and warm, perfect for Indonesian skin too since the base is beautiful. It made the skin appear more colorful and not pale.

I'm using the Rose Honey as a contouring and it has the ability to blend effortlessly into this powdery finish that gives the skin a smooth coverage without being cakey. The Lip & Cheek Cream is dewy, rich in color and does last. It has a bit of staining effect but that's not the reason why they stick, they just build with ingredients that last, they are still easily cleaned with a good makeup remover.

Conclusion,

a good daily makeup that has been proven as well by many beauty bloggers in Indonesia that it works, they do last the whole day thanks to it's weightless and powdery formula. The Lip and Cheek Cream provide hue to intense color which I love since it's easy to blend in an adequate setting time. Not too fast which is for my liking and does stays on the cheeks. I usually use my beauty blender or blending brush. The tone sets after a few minutes and remain cheerful.

Packaging wise, I think their rose gold hue is the prettiest of them all heehee.

like Indonesia has been taken by a storm, a Lakme storm that is. They are bombarding us with new products almost every month and with the hype, trend and delight-ness in their packaging and concept of the whole ambiance.

Their recent event in Senayan City atrium deserves a call, like a wakeup call for other brand to have fun and enjoy beauties as these babies are made for pleasure.

Curated by the very talented designer - Masaba, each lip crayon has a quirky print exclusively designed by her, that spells 90’s nostalgia. This is a limited edition collection of matte lip colors from the Lip Pout range that you cannot resist! It’s time to have some fun and indulge in these 10 vibrant shades inspired by the candies of the 90’s.

Step 1: Start applying from the centre of your upper lip. Step 2: Work from the centre towards the outer edges of your lip, following the contours of your mouth. Step 3: Glide across the entire bottom lip.

The packaging is like candies, and the as simple as a lip crayon where it just simply applied and sealed. The matte finish is surreal, and must be loved by those who are pass 1990.

Fret not, they are still enjoyable for just about anyone, but I know for sure, my mom will love me even more if I gave here all of them, after all, I'm her favorite child.... (and my siblings will scream in disbelief).

Aside from the family drama, here are the products in each of the colorful shade.

They all are matte and pretty smooth, easy to be applied, even thou' not rub proof nor completely resistant, but it has the capability of staying as it was quite good in terms of pigment and staying power as long as nothing touching the lips.

The coverage ability is pleasantly good and satisfying too as it made the lips appear so smooth and irresistible. The product comes in berry like scent that wonderful and never overpowering.

It may need several application to coat the lips evenly and without fail securing every inches and side, but it worth it, since the product is build-able each layer without making them look bumpy.

They work best on a clean lips, but you may apply a lip base before a much more smoother experience.

Lakmé Absolute Argan Oil Serum Foundation

Lakme Absolute have another foundation to share with you and this one is Argan Oil Serum Foundation with SPF 45, and mine happen to be in Rose Silk (02).

The product comes in a pipette kind of container, like the ones that we see a lot on youtuber, where they drip drip drip the foundation on to their skin before blending it. It looks encouraging, right?! I do make one myself on my instagram (@Carnellin), do check it out.

Look how the foundation unifies the skin tone into an even and flawless look. The coverage is definitely there and the scent is definitely perfumed since it's obvious. And it will linger for a while. The product is slightly rich and feels a bit thick but on the skin it will turn into velvety and then powdery like, so it's pretty comfortable with the right amount of coverage for the skin. Large pores, fine lines, to faint imperfection are easily disappear.

For deep marks, layered up the foundation and perhaps add a bit of concealer too for a maximum effect.

Top it off with a dash of finishing powder to set the base or perhaps after colors. The makeup usually last around whole day when inside a controlled room like cool and dry, but for sure, ones skin condition and activity also helps determining the longevity. Bring along a dusting powder or loose powder to freshen up the look and help it stays longer.

For those (perhaps like me) who like to mix colors, it is possible, it helps me to get that exact shade that I want. Highlight and contour also possible using a lighter shade and darker shade on the areas I prefer.

The product is easily mixed and the setting time is good, it's not super slow nor super fast, I say it's around 3-5 minutes, so we do have time to blend.

Lakme Absolute Face Stylist Blush Duos

as a blush addict who doesn't seems to ever get enough of that rosy cheeks or perhaps something that was so pink or a healthy hue. Apparently they also made the complexion appear fresher and younger.

The product comes in a black box and a round shaped blush duo with a small brush too. I prefer my own brush but the small one provided is enough during traveling.

It was said to be blush duo since there's two tones in one container, it helps providing a mode multi-dimension look for the face than a uni-tone.

The blush comes in two variants, and both are two tones.

There's a tad differences between the the two shade, one is more sparks (peach) and the pink is more to demi matte. A combination between these babies provide a more natural healthy blush that glows radiantly.

A blush may be just a blush but somehow it helps creating a more romantic look on me, speaking of romance, this is February, a month of love, time to get lovey doey.

The blush can be layered to create a more deep and pinkish look or just enough like you're having a blush. Carry it anywhere for an easy top up :D

people says that this is the era for glossy lips once again. Remember how the matte trend swept over the beauty world over the last few years, now, it's back to glossy with that irresistible vinyl like leathery look which speak sexy and sensuality.

Lakme Absolute Gloss Stylist is here, all in 6 shade from Plum Pout, Coral Blush, Berry Rose, Berry Cherry, Red Touch and Wine Shine, and yes, this is the full swatch and pictorial for the collection.

Hmm how come there's only 5 in my images above? I put Berry Cherry inside my purse, has been crazy about that color, worries not, the full swatch is below.

Plum Pout has that deep berry shade, coral is irresistible for daily to special event, berry rose is a merit between red and pink, red touch is pure red with a hint of orange, wine shine is gorgeous wine that I've been looking for, and berry cherry, oh she owns the world.

The texture is like lip gloss alright and a bit sticky with more to the slippery. The shine is surely there and the more I'm using it the more addicted I am to the glossy gloss, it's like glass with lava of color inside.

The differences on some shade is a tad but surprisingly, it is significantly different when different skin tone are using the same shade, so you'll never know the power of undertone until you witness one.

On the image above I'm using Wine Shine. It's kinda like taffy or magenta. Somehow the color feels independent, still feminine and demure but lovingly show freedom of expression.

This is Plum Pout. The deepest shade of them all.

Most lip gloss in the market are sheer to rather sheer, Lakme Absolut Gloss Stylist deliver good coverage with fine pigment that gives result My chappy dry lips appear to be so smooth and the liquid feels good too, so really, it's more to the slippery than sticky.

They may not be waterproof nor wipe proof but the color last as long as they are untouchable.

I'm using Berry Cherry on the image above.

There's a scent, a fragrant berry like scent on every product, but it's a subtle one, hence I don't feel like using perfume on my lips.

Plum Pout and Berry Cherry probably two of the strongest shades, they are deep and the other is bright. The rest of the shades are what I called to be fun shades. They speaks young and dynamic.

Coral Blush is probably one of the most prettiest shade without looking too girly. Coral has been a shade that getting a lot of attention lately. It's sophisticated, feminine, but still is a color that you'll see on girls who are independent, trend setter and real.

This is Red Touch which somehow on me looks a bit more to the orange, this is a shade without pink as well. The color appear fresh and it gives the skin a brighter tone.

In the end, it's all about your favorite and perhaps outfit too. Look at some of the image below for a different feel from outdoor light and background.

Above is Berry Rose and below is Berry Cherry. And do I need to mention the glow on the outdoor light?! It's amazing, my lips appear so glossily smooth, like a leather, vinyl, or perhaps liquid vinyl, irresistible!

The liquid doesn't bleed, it stays in it's place, easy to apply, can be used sheer, gradation like or full. It is so pretty since the mood it brings on every shade is different thanks to the undertone. The shape of the container also unique, with the rectangle like and glass feel so we can see the liquid inside. Pricing wise it's in the budget friendly for around 100-150k for a color and gloss in one.

Warning!! The name of the shades clearly visible on the box, not in the product, so do be careful and check the lid as there's this words in black that shows the shade, it is rather faint but it's there.
