Pixy Cosmetics Nude Lip Creams

Hello lovelies,

Pixy Cosmetics has done it again, they made the bloggers crazy with their newest shades, the nudes.

Their Lip Cream alone are probably one of the lip creams that I used the most on daily basis, they have that depth and pigment with the most lightest texture ever. They smells good without being overwhelming and this is the best part, they feel so comfortable that they didn't make the lips feels dry nor taut.

-*-

Shades from red, purple to fuchsia are already in their original collection, now they adding shades number 7 (Vintage Rose), 8 (Delicate Pink), 9 (Glam Coral), 10 (Sweet Choco), 11 (Gaudy Orange), and 12 (Mild Peach).

Below is the swatches respectively from left to right.

-*-

Everything in terms of quality and product packaging is similar from their other Lip Cream, the texture also cream, using a soft tip wand and the consistency is there. Just the shades that are new and ready to take on anyone who love nudes.

Nowadays nudes are loved, it is definitely not a new shade but seems like the trends are coming back, strong eye makeup and nude lips are sought after.

The product is a waterproof lip creams that dries up upon usage, easily used and last all day when left untouched with oils or makeup remover.

-*-

I'll share my looks using these babies.

Let's start with Vintage Rose, shall we?!

-*-

This is Vintage Rose, a classic shade of rose where it is a mixture between beige and a hint of red in the right proportion. It create a soft look suitable for everyday use and kinda romantic too.

-*-

For me, Vintage Rose perhaps the safest shade, it matches or almost every one and every skin tone, like it's a shade that can never go wrong and many times considered as the color of the lips.

-*-

The next one is Delicate Pink, a shade that perhaps the softest mixture of pink and beige yet of course, so sultry and innocently sexy.

-*-

The color is a bit playful too, showing that you love adventure as much as you love yourself.

-*-

Shade number 9 is Glam Coral and it glamorous indeed. The coral shade is rich and looks great for an evening look, I feel in power using this shade.

-*-

Coral itself is a mix between beige, red and orange, the color might look serious but I think they add that charisma on our overall makeup.

-*-

This is Sweet Choco, the most chocolate shade in the nude series, it is intense and I love it. Those with olive skin can use this one better than I am. I love how smooth these Lip Creams are, all of them made my lips look so flawless.

-*-

Sweet Choco is probably a shade that I'll use in the office, it has that 'working' vibe.

-*-

Look how peaceful I am using Gaudy Orange. A shade that somehow calms me down and matches my skin tone. Orange, with a hint of red in beige base, it is serene.

-*-

Last but not least, it's Mild Peach, shade number 12. A bit more orange than Gaudy Orange or perhaps a bit more yellow. The shade is softer and closer to the nude, another one of my favorite, oh who am I kidding, all of them are my favorite.

-*-

How about you? Which one is your favorite?

Pixy Lasting Matte Lipstick

Hello everyone,

I'm back with a review for Pixy, this is their Lasting Matte Lipstick.

-*-

The packaging, container, even the shade of the lippies are pink this time. It's very girlie and shiny too. But the product is said to be matte.

-*-

The shade for this one is Cherry Cherry. It's like a bright coral pink hue.

-*-

Seen from the swatch the product is not highly pigmented, the texture is rather light and suitable for those who are looking for a natural sheer lippies with a demi matte finish.

-*-

The product doesn't have a good long hours of staying power, hence constant reapplying is needed, and every layer of reapplying also add the intensity of the color.

Since the lipstick is easily transfer, do be careful when using and it bleeds a little to.

-*-

Still, if you're looking for a budget friendly lippies that feels comfortable on daily basis, this natural looking lippies might be for you.

The shade option is not that wide, but popular shade selection is here.

-*-

Thank you Pixy for sending me this lippie.

Pixy Lip Cream

Hello lovelies,

these babies are Pixy Lip Creams.

The full collection are in 6 shades and this post will share with you 4 out of 6 (and yes, I do wish I can give a 6 out of 6).

-*-

Ahh, here they are, the 4 shades that comes in number 1, 2, 3 and 4.

All of them are almost identical, except the bottom part where it shows the shade within.

-*-

The decor of the packaging is unique with the black being the main color. Some 'snowflakes' on the lower area and the shade of the product. I do wish they do develop more colors and be more brave and Indonesian market are enjoying lip creams nowadays. Nudes and autumn shades could be a big hit since it is in the season.

-*-

Here are the names, 1 is Chic Rose, 2 is Party Red, 3 is Classic Red, 4 is Fun Fuchsia.

All of them are similar in texture and coverage ability. All are light and easy to be used, dries of almost instantly but doesn't really gives me a tight or pulled effect during the 'drying' time. Hence it's cream but in the lightest form possible, that if it is lighter it would be called a liquid lippies. So this one have a fine velvety feeling when used and slightly sweet cupcake-like scent.

-*-

Number one is my favorite. Lately, I've been craving for nude colors or burgundy. Like the exact opposite I know, but a girl wants what a girl want. This dusty rose shade is suitable for a daily look, where I want to look a bit safe and natural.

The matte finish is lovely and not drying in a way where people offer me chap stick. So, it's all good and the color does looks good on me.

-*-

This is Party Red, it is supposed to be very much bright red but somehow the reflection on this image is somewhat pinkish when it is not. It is red by all means possible. Bright, daring, vivid, and that kind of red that empowering and perfect for a big meeting when you're in the lead.

-*-

Number 3 is Classic Red, or orange red.

It is bright as well, in a slight orange direction. A shade that is also provocative.

-*-

Last but not least, Fun Fuchsia, number 4. It's slightly more like magenta. It's definitely fun and embracing for almost all skin tone. Easy to be used on any given day where you want to add fun and cheerful color to the table.

Overall,

they are all wonderful lip creams that easily use, very light and surprisingly look stunning during pictures time. Cover the lips well, and stays on real good until oils touches them. Pixy Makeup Remover is a great product that cleans this lip creams within swipes. Unless there's no oil, they'll stays, for the whole day.

Thank you so much Pixy Cosmetic Indonesia, they are lovely products not to be missed.

Pixy

Hi lovelies,

some time ago after attending an event with Pixy, I received these products as the goody bag. As seen, it was almost a complete set of their range.

From BB Cream, blush on, lip creams, lipstick, to eyeliners and mascara. They also have compact powder and makeup remover not to be missed.

-*-

Since the BB Cream and powder is rather too dark for my skin tone, the review will be based only for the products that I've used, which is the rest of them.

Start from their blush on that I think too faint for me. I wish it was a bit more pigmented. The mascara and liquid eyeliners are black and easy to be used. The wand of the mascara and brush from the liquid eyeliner is a bit tacky. But the product has a good water resisting power. It won't stand much chance against sweat but as long as I'm staying indoor with aircon, I'm fine.

-*-

The pencil eyeliners are easy to be used, soft and crayon-like. I really like the white chalky color since it is pretty much useful. The one in mint is unique and not really my everyday color. One thing about Pixy Line and Shadow, that it was easy to blend as we can use it as an eyeshadow but brushing them on the lids. And they'll sets within a few minutes.

Their lipstick on the other hand was wonderful and I love the colors. This nude lipstick is one of my favorite. It has a subtle glow, made my lips looks moist and easy to be used.

-*-

They also have Lip Creams that comes in 6 shades.

I'll share a review on them on a separate post.

-*-

And here are the swatches of the products shown above. From the BB Cream, Line and Shadow in white and mint. The black mascara and liquid eyeliner. Nude colored lipstick and the Lip Creams.

They look pretty good and I think, thanks for their budget friendly price tag, many people will enjoy using their products since it does works pretty well and worth purchasing.

And all the products from Pixy comes in a packaging that clearly stated the details such as ingredients. This is one of the standard that I think shows quality.
-*-

Below is me using the eyeliners, mascara, blush on, lipstick, shadow and line by Pixy.

The makeup was natural and pretty much comfortable to be used. And one last thing on their package is the makeup remover that works like a charm. Even the lip creams that has a very good staying power can be removed easily with their makeup remover.

-*-

Just shake the bi-phasil (water and oil) formula until they are mixed, wet a cotton pad with that mixed solution, and wiped anything off. It will comes off easily. Since it has oils, do use a good foaming facial wash to removes the remover.

Thank you so much Pixy, I hope someday I can give a review for the BB Cream and Compact Powder within my skin tone shade.

PIXY Moisture Lipstick

Hello lovelies,

Here are the products I received from the recent event with Pixy Cosmetics. As seen, they are giving me a package from BB Cream, compact powder, blush, lip creams, lipstick, eyeliners, mascara and makeup remover too. Clearly it is enough for a one brand makeup tutorial but the shades of the base is unfortunately too dark for me. As usual, cosmetics that doesn't come in my shades will be up for grab in my giveaway so it wont be a waste. If I can't use it, someone else might. And I was told by other bloggers too that Pixy Cosmetics BB Cream and compact is quite good, especially for those who are looking for an all day base that last.

-*-

Here are the swatches of the products seen above, the mascara, eyeliners (blue and white are pencil eyeliners), liquid eyeliner (black), BB Cream, one lipstick in nude (O-05) and two lip creams in red and fuchsia.

On this post, I'll share my review for their Moisturizing Lipstick in shade O-05.

-*-

The product comes in this simple plastic container with bright color. It appear to be made out of cheap budget stuff. Perhaps it is one of the reasons why their products is really on the budget friendly side. But the product itself is pretty good. The formula is clearly moisturizing as it claims and the color turns out to be super pretty.

-*-

It's not sheer for sure, but not truly vivid or deeply pigmented. It was somewhat in between on the way to highly pigmented. The color does runs off after a while, so I need to keep reapplying. Doesn't really have staying power, easily wiped off, but still feels comfortable on the lips, so in a way, it does have moisturizing ability that feels good (not greasy nor oily) and there's definitely shine to the shade.

-*-

I enjoy using it since it's very easy to apply and glides so smooth. It may doesn't have a legit staying power, but the color still can be categorize as realistic. Plus, it's really budget friendly.

Thank you Pixy Cosmetics.

#PixyTokyoBeautyTrip

Hello lovelies,

a few days ago, I was invited by Pixy to witness the journey of 10 beauty bloggers competing with each other to win a trip of a lifetime, Pixy Tokyo Beauty Trip.

-*-

This is the second time Pixy held this kind of competition and the whole procedure is similar from the first. There's blogging, vlogging, voting and then live competition.  Winners has been selected from blogging and now it's the vloggers turn.

Their quests is easy, showing how they use Pixy products on their makeup routine. The toughest part is the voting where hmm, I don't think it's pretty fair since it doesn't really show quality but how much they can get those votes (no matter how).

During the event, 10 finalist has to do a live makeup, being interviewed like any beauty pageant, and then 2 winners will join the other two to Tokyo.

-*-

After 4 long hours, finally here are the winners for Pixy Tokyo Beauty Trip 'season' 2. They look so happy and one of the winner even shed tears when she knew she is one of the winner, congratulations!! I hope they all have a wonderful time in Tokyo with Pixy, representing Indonesia and the brand itself.

-*-

I personally haven't try PIxy Cosmetics and they gave us a bunch of products inside the goodie bag. I took this opportunity as a chance to try on the cosmetics. There's the BB Cream, compact powder, eyeliners, blush on, mascara, eyeliner and lip stick plus some lip creams which I'm so keen to try.

Every product comes with box with details written on it. A few instruction and tips with ingredients.

-*-

The box and packaging clearly seen a bit flimsy, it was made as a budget friendly brand but it works. The product does works well. So even thou' it comes in a low price products, they still deliver a relatively good products to be used.

-*-

The variety of the shades are presentable too. It has the basic and some trendy addition. Customer can easily pick at least one that they'll like. Seems like Mandom has done a lot of research in Indonesia to make it work, clearly bloggers are raving their products too, especially the new Lip Cream.

-*-

But during the event, the product being highlighted is their new compact powder, the Cover Smooth.

-*-

The product comes in a white and blue details. Simple yet lovely indeed.

-*-

And of course, among the first product I've tried is their Lip Cream. I have the one in red and fuchsia.

The formula is light and dry in the end, it has a matte finish and feels so thin on the lips. But as seen on the images below, the color is there.

-*-

(me using fuchsia)
It has a distinct vanilla cupcake kinda scent, easy to glide on the lips, doesn't bleed, waterproof but doesn't stand a chance against oil, hence, cleaning it with a oil base cleanser wont be a problem, doesn't stain, and again, as long as they don't touch any oils, it stays on the lips.

-*-

(me using the red tone).

The packaging is pretty, the container comes with a pink top and at the bottom, it shows us the color of the shade inside.

Bottom line, their products are not something we can easily forget. They are cute, colorful, bright, some are bold, user friendly, and I'll definitely share more reviews on their products soon on my blog.

Thank you Pixy Indonesia.
