Catrice Dewy-ful Lips Conditioning Lip Butter

this is a beauty product from Catrice that made specially for the lips to appear fuller, more volume and colors for sure. It's Catrice Dewy-ful Lips Conditioning Lip Butter.

A product that comes in a tube like container but it has an applicator wand that is like any other tube container. The shade comes in 6 variant but I'm going to review just one, which is the one I'm using, Dr. Dewlittle.

Look how vibrant the color is, there's a vanilla like scent as well as pigment colors with feeling that is a bit slippery, not exactly greasy, but more like jelly. I can't say that it is not 100% free from stickiness, but can't really say it is sticky as well. So it is pretty much still in the comfortable area. The product may not be waterproof nor transfer-proof, but it does stays as long as I didn't wipe it off.

The lips will appear dewy, fuller and like blooming with intense red coral shade that I like. I can use it as a top or use the product itself as a solid color. Since nowadays using two tone, gradation and stained lips look are a thing, we can get that by using Dewy-ful Lips as well.

The limited edition cubes comes in 2 shades, mandarin and mine is in burgundy, my favorite shade. Looks like wine and all it's best.

The design of the product is similar to the rest of the collection and the product itself is similar to the 'classic' Lipquid, so it's mostly due to the shade and the design of the container.

The ingredients is written clearly on the box and I can just use it with ease since Lipquid itself has been my favorite. Open the top by twisting and then look at the slightly bend wand and made for precision. It carries enough liquid for the lips.

The color is so pigmented and bold. Super love the texture, so silky, smooth and luxurious at the same time. The shine is gorgeous and I can use it like I please, two tone, as a lip tint (by applying and then dab the moisture away), or just color the inner part of the lips like a Korean style lip  makeup.

But for me, as usual, the bolder the lips are, more love they received from me >.<

Overall,

a great lip color that coated the lips with vivid pigment, shine, lightness, and comes with multiple finish can easily be achieved. I love the feeling of using the product and would really want to collect them all (the rest of the Lipquids), I already have 6 shades now and still want more.

The lipquid is a great way to dressed up the lips, it comes in many shades of color and the Runway Collection may only comes in 2 shades but hear this, they can be mixed.

The liquid formula also handy when I happen to need a blush and doesn't carry one, just dab a little and blend. Wonderful!

Shu Uemuera Laque Supreme

Their recent addition is Yazbukey and the products given during the event are Laque Supreme.

RD 03 is red with a hint of orange and RD 04 is a pinkish red. On the first swipe it may be a bit faint, but the product is buildable and when the layers are full it form like a leathery film on the lips.

When cleaned, they'll leave a tinted reside on the skin. The RD 03 will appear more orange and the RD 04 more to the red.

It is amazing how they look similar yet so different.

Between above and the image below, I'm using the same product of RD 04, in the image above I'm using several swipe and it looks much more 'thicker' and fuller coverage too. In the below image, it's just one swipe, the result is a sheerer finish.

I really love the thin gel liquid formula, it felt ultra comfortable on the lips. It is light, not creamy at all, like a watery gel, and smooth too. The color is buildable like mentioned above and even when it's applied over and over, there's no thickness to the formula, just a more intense color that last. After wiping it off there will be tint left on the lips, so using the Laque Supreme will help the lips stays 'colored' all day long even after the formula wiped off.

This is the look with RD 03, the hint of orange made the look fresh. That just enough gloss create a subtle irresistible shine.

When hearing about oil, all of us are thinking about greasy, and well, oily. So, I have little expectation when I first try it.

When see the packaging, it is in gold and looks fabulous, the product as well, so beautifully made and designed (as always from Yves Saint Laurent). The color of the middle part where YSL is engraved shown the shade of the product. It comes in several shade and Coral is one of them. The wand is shaped like a curvy lips with an opening in the middle so you'll never use it too much. The tip is cushioned and soft to the lips. The aroma of the product is amazingly juicy and fragrant. And the texture, is like a very light oil, but I think the name of the Tint in Oil is to the remarkable shine it produces. Without the greasy effect for sure. After all, this is Yves Saint Laurent's.

The products may come in several options of shades but on the lips, it miraculously follow our natural lip color, like the one shown above is YSL representative (Ms. Enny) she's wearing the one with Gold and nothing else on her lips. Look how pink her lips are.

And below is me using the one in Coral, the essential oils used are so comfortable and gives the lips an instant healing, rejuvenating and softening effect like no other. The lips become smooth and deliciously shines.

The color on me is so soft and delicate. I can use it alone, on top of a lippie, under, and like a base and top coat for a more delightful effects.

La Splash Lip Couture

Seems like waterproof lip liquids are back in the trend. Instragram is filled with makeup do using these kind of lip do, a liquid lip product that turns into matte and super duper waterproof. One of the brand available in the market is La Splash.

Comes in many colors and formula without being expensive. Names like Lime Crime, MUA Luxe, Anastasia Beverly Hills and many more comes up with these matte lacquers as well and they are not as budget friendly as La Splash.

Which one that I'm eager to try? Malevolent of course. A deep dark purple without mercy, glides on the lips without fail, dries up almost instantly to this lightweight veil on the lips. Waterproof and transfer proof for sure. Like all waterproof product, the weakness is oil, so when I eat something oily, or just a tad of oils, the veil will start to disintegrate leaving the part untouched by the oil to be awkwardly there. So I suggest you to bring an oil based product like a lip oil, to clean the whole part before re applying.

Malevolent definitely calls and deserves all the attention it could get. Pair it up with a pinkish or rosy blush, seductive lashes and minimal eye makeup and there you go. It can go as Gothic or as daily look as possible (or at least try to look 'normal') by playing with the rest of the makeup.

The feeling of using La Splash Lip Couture is definitely comfortable and fun. The shade covers everything on the lips, made them looks stunning.

A shade that looks the opposite of  Malevolent, so rosy and blends in the daily life like nothing happen.

I've been using Rose Garden on many occasion and no one ask what is it?! Malevolent gets far more attention here and there. 

The color itself is beautiful but I can get this shade with any other lipstick. Of course any other lipstick wont be waterproof and stays on my lips as good as this but still, no one asks.

Clean them good with an oil based cleanser, leave them for a while so the oils have time to break the particles for easy cleansing afterwards.

The feeling on the lips is like a creamy liquid, not super creamy, more like a creamy gel, so it is still in the creamy range but in the mildest way possible. There's no scent whatsoever that made them in the scented category. The color and the gloss is definitely the highlight. For those who are looking for a color and gloss in one will love this product.

For me the moisture is more to the texture of the product and the feeling disappear when the lippies are removed. They are not waterproof nor transfer-proof.

Each of them cost Rp.89.000 and in the budget friendly range that gives full color with gloss without fails, the lippy covers everything from dark rims, uneven lip tone, dry lips and imperfection on the lips with a beautiful color. I think the details provide enough explanation and they did all that. Long wear, touch proof and as along as I don't eat anything oily, they'll stay transfer proof as well.

The color is undeniably strong and rich. The dramatic effect when using Velvetines is fascinating, like literally becomes the attention. Beauty addicts will notices and whispers 'she's wearing limecrime', it's surely become addictive using it.

The full collection varies from the reddest red to black. You'll be spoiled with unordinary choices.

Definitely a must have collection for me.

The formula is not really forgiving when it is dry and has become matte, so during application, make sure that you clean the mess before 20-30 seconds as those are the approximate time for the liquid to turn into matte. Use a cotton bud to lift up the liquid outside the lips and don't move around too much so it sets well.

When cleaning it, as mentioned above, it doesn't stands against oil so use an oil-based lip cleanser.

It's like full color on every swipe, the feeling on the lips is comfortable, moist but not greasy, silky but not slippery, the gloss alive for hours but I can turn it into a semi matte using a dust of powder.
