Yang jadi masalah utama aku tuh apa sih? Sampai aku bisa cobain 3 produk ini? Mari aku ceritain.

Memang kulit kering sudah menjadi masalah aku sejak usia 30an deh, dan setelah lewat 35 memang semakin kering. Kalau urusan dark spots atau flek, yang notabene juga salah satu penyebabnya karena iritasi kulit kering, matahari, dan radiasi. Jadi kulit kering aku ini bisa bikin banyak masalah yang penyelesaiannya bukan cuma pakai 1 produk. SKIN BARRIER FACIAL WASH

Merupakan pembersih wajah yang tidak mengandung SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulphate) dan paraben, diformulasikan khusus dengan busa lembut dan bahan non-iritant. Tidak hanya membersihkan, tetapi juga menjaga kelembapan dan mempertahankan fungsi barrier kulit. Sehingga sesuai untuk kulit kering, sensitif dan atopi.

Mengandung aquaxyl, PHA (Gluconolactone), zinc PCA dan D-Panthenol sebagai moisturizing agent. Dilengkapi aloe vera extract dan dipotassium glycyrrhizinate sebagai anti inflamasi.

Barrier kulit merupakan lapisan terluar kulit yang terdiri dari sel-sel kulit (corneocytes) yang saling terikat dengan adanya lapisan lipid. Semua yang dijelaskan diatas, semua hal itulah yang diperlukan kulitku. Selama ini aku suka menghindar memakai foaming facial wash, karena rata-rata membuat kulit iritasi dengan kandungannya yang tidak ramah untuk kulit kering dan sensitif. Bahkan kulit normal pun lama-lama bisa tidak tahan jika terus dipakaikan iritants yang menyakiti kulit. Skin Barrier Facial Wash dari Erha benar-benar lembut dan nyaman dipakai, sebelum mulai menulis blog inipun tadi sejam yang lalu aku baru pakai lagi, dan sukaaaa banget dengan efek lembutnya.

Mungkin juga kebiasaan kita meski sudah pakai pembersih makeup yang oil, cream atau milky cleanser, kita masih perlu pakai foaming facial wash, sekarang tanpa khawatir kulitku makin kering atau iritasi, sehari pakai 2x atau 3x Skin Barrier Facial Wash tetap nyaman.

Cukup basahi kulit dan lathers up (busakan) di telapak tangan yang bersih. Busa lembut dengan mudah dihasilkan, lalu aplikasikan busa ke wajah. Pijat dengan lembut sekitar 1 menit, aku sendiri biasanya fokus ke area yang berlipat atau sulit dijangkau seperti bawah hidung. Penumpukan kotoran di area ini juga bisa bikin iritasi, memerah dan akhirnya jerawat.

Setelah kulit bersih dan sudah kering, aku menggunakan toner, lalu serum ini TruWhite Activator C Serum yang formulanya mirip gel cair, semi bening agak milky, dan nyamaaannn banget di kulit. Tau donk, kadang serum vitamin c itu bisa agak panas di kulit, hangat atau bahkan yang kulitnya sensitif banget bisa memerah, TruWhite Activator C Serum di kulit aku benar-benar comfortable. Tidak ada kemerahan, tidak ada tanda iritasi sama sekali, dan tidak ada sensasi panas.

Serumnya juga mudah diserap tanpa rasa lengket. Biasanya 1 pump aku pakai untuk seluruh wajah dan sedikit area leher. Aku butuh serum vitamin c ini untuk dark spots di area pipi bagian atas, atau upper cheeks area, untuk penuaan dini juga seperti garis-garis halus. Inilah salah satu alasan aku memilih Erha, karena produk satu dengan lainnya dibuat agar bisa dipakai dengan saling mendukung fungsi produk sebelum dan sesudahnya. Yang bersihin kulit menyanggupi kondisi kulit jadi bersih dan nyaman untuk dipakaikan serum, lalu saat serum sudah terpakai di kulit yang lembab, barulah pelembab sebagai seal terakhir kita gunakan. Baiknya lagi karena ada sunscreen sebesar SPF 25, radiasi dari matahari bisa diatasi.

Ada whitecast nya ga? Ada tapi sedikit banget, jadi gak usah pakai highlighter banyak-banyak ya, sudah ada dari skincare nya. Efeknya setelah 7 hari apa?

Beneran, tiap hari aku makin cinta sama kulitku karena Erha. Hal pertama yang aku rasakan adalah manfaat kulit yang lebih lembab, dari pembersihnya yang lembut, serum vitamin c sampai pelembab yang mendukung kondisi kulit agar tidak kering lagi dan tidak mudah teriritasi lagi.

Spa Essentia White Glow

Spa Essentia is here, they are celebrating a new collection called White Glow, pastinya untuk mencerahkan kulit ya, dan mereka punya variant uang untuk muka dan tubuh.

I think this is perfect for those who wants to get married, atau ada acara penting yang akan datang and they want to look special for that occasion.

Kebetulan aku kali ini memcoba face serum, face moisturizer, body scrub, body mask dan face masknya juga.

The masks comes in a sachets, jadi dalam satu bungkus ada beberapa sachet dan cukup digunakan sesuai keperluan. You can use rose water, any toner, or plain clean water to mix the mask.

The scrub comes in a tube container while their serum and moisturizers in a pump bottles.

Below are the texture of the serum and moisturizer, moisturizer is slightly thicker while the serum is more transparent and more fluid. The moisturizer smell so good, like I was instantly taken to a beautiful spa, it's like that usual scent when entering a spa.

Below is the texture of the scrub, it's white, creamy, with beads that satisfy the needs to scrub the skin. What I like about the scrub is that it has a spa scent too, with the feeling of super clean yet still moist skin. It doesn't dried out the skin.

The details on the products are available on each of the box or wrapper of the container. From the direction, ingredients to instruction.

One common thing I find on the ingredients, it's lavender. Perhaps it's the ingredients that made them smells so good, and so does all those citrus too.

The scents is comforting, refreshing and beautiful at the same time. I do enjoy using the scrub but I wish it came in a bigger tube since a single tube is like 3 usage for the whole body. I like them on a dry skin, it add that friction and getting the dead skin cells.

Adding water a bit by bit while massaging the skin is addictive, the skin is getting that micro-circulating effects.

The face mask comes in a package of 4 x 4g and the body is in 20 g's.

On this post I'm only mixing the powders with water to see the sole effects of the mask.

I'm using one for the face and another on the body.

Now regarding the face mask and the body mask too. Do it one by one. I use the face mask first, adding water little by little so it wont be too runny before applying it on my skin, clean skin that is.

Same goes with the body mask, adding water little by little so it wont be too runny, and here's the fun part, after putting the mask all over the body I was kinda confuse where to stand waiting for the mask to dry while wearing nothing.

The mask dries up pretty fast, around 10 minutes but I wish I can just relax and lie down so the mask could stay longer, like wishing for the longer I let them stay on my skin, the fairer I'll become, I wish to have an even skin tone more than a paler one heehee.

After rinsing the mask and continually using it, my skin does appear cleaner. In a sense that it helps my skin to appear brighter and more attractive. It's not just being white and fair but removing back acne, uneven skin tone, trapped dirt on the pores so the skin appear better and healthier too.

Those who love shoulder off tops must try using the scrub and body mask routinely, alongside with sun protection too.

As for the serum and moisturizer aka White Glow Whitening Serum and White Glow Face and Eye Night Lotion, they are both helping my facial skin to appear even out, fresher and fairer in a way that my skin gets that brighter vibe.

brightening my skin has never ever been my concern. Blessed with a fair skin from the birth made me want to look tan. Ironic isn't it? We tend to look at the other's grass greener. Still, nowadays perhaps due to aging too, some spots starts to emerged, the solution? of solution? Of course, brightening products.

They are not just made for lighten the whole skin tone, but helps lessening the spots too, as they are melanin as well. The effect might not be as forgiving as whitening the whole face, but helps in reducing the intensity of the spots. So these brown thingy will become less and less visible.

This time I'm trying a duo White Seed from The Face Shop, it's Real Whitening Essence and Tone-Up Cream.

This is essence on the picture above and the cream below. Clearly the texture is different one to another. One is more to the milky gel that cools and looks refreshing while the cream is rich and thicker, looks more like a whitening product, but I assure you both are brightening as it is.

Regarding the comfort of using, the essence in terms of texture is more pleasing but somehow there's a slight sting on some parts, for a while there, not the whole time and not causing any redness nor further discomfort. The cream itself is rich, like mentioned above, but pleasant and doesn't feel greasy nor oily on the skin, so it's comfortable.

Those who have normal skin will love the texture, so does those with oily skin, but as for I have dry skin, I add a bit of hydrating serum between these two just to make the skin feels better and more moist.

The cream is preferred (by me) as a day cream, but you may use it on day or night as you please. The essence itself is like a serum, so I'm using it after a toner and before the cream. They are great together, that's perhaps why they are sold as a bundle pack, regarding the rest of the series, I haven't tried them, perhaps when used altogether they will be more effective.

I see a slight differences on my skin, overall skin tone brighten and the spots looks less visible, there are still there, just not as concentrated as before. As I'm using them on day time only and just use the essence with another cream at night, I was kinda amaze that I can still see differences when I thought they have to be used both.

Since my focus is on the dark spots and not the whole complexion, I think the product works better as a skin tone brightener instead of a dark spots remover.

Will I keep using the products? I will, so far they feels good (after the sting for a while after almost every application of the essence), and smells good too. It's not an overwhelming scent, but rather white floral scent that calming and clean.

The cream is said can act as a primer, but I need something more than this for sure :D It's more like a light primer.

As I always avoiding whitening or brightening products, the fact that I'm still using these babies are already show how good they are, and the brand itself is pretty worthy among other Korean brand, hence, it worth trying.

The Body Shop Skin Defence Multi-Protection Essence SPF 50 PA++++

ever wonder what your life might turn out if you choose things differently?

When I was a little girl, there's this book where we can choose how the story would end, so these Disney Princesses can perhaps have different endings according to the option we made. And since it's just a book, we can simply get back to the first page and fix everything we want to fix.

But life it's a one way street where we can't never get back, whatever option we have chosen in the past, sometimes, well, most of the time, it's can't be fixed. We have to live the consequences as it is. We're at the point of the road where we choose to regret our decision for the rest of our life in despair and negativity, or live our best no matter what.

The thing is, same goes with whatever we choose to use on our skin too. If you happen to be like me, rarely use sunscreen, or perhaps when staying on the beach for the whole day, using sunscreen only seen as necessary as the first deep and no reapply ever remembered, spots might comes up. And most of the time, redness and sensitivity occurs.

What can I do, live with it! And in the better future (like now) use a good sunscreen that protects the skin from the sun by all means.

And thanks to The Body Shop Indonesia, I just find out that, sunscreen are supposed to be reapplied after 4 hours no matter how high the SPF is since it gets removed either partially or the effectiveness reduced by far from sweating, wiping or just doesn't work as best as when it was first applied, more like worn off.

Shiseido White Lucent Official Launch

a few days ago I was invited once again by Shiseido. This time it is for the official launch of their recent collection, the White Lucent.

The dress code is white lucent, with a hint of pinks, I come in white.

The event is superb, beautiful, just simply gorgeous. Filled with pink sakura and roses and everything in between. It is definitely an event worth remembering for.

On each of our table lies a box of products, that's a set we can each bring home.

And they also prepare some to be 'played' with during the event. We can sniff, try, tested and enjoy during our time there.

Sakura has been a symbol of beauty in Japan for centuries. Japanese embrace, adore and rejoice the seasons where sakura blooms. I want to feel it as well.

Every detail on the set are so beautiful. Look at those Sakura-like table and all the pink liquid. Reminds me a lot of our previous campaign with them.
