Spa Wisdom Ximenia & Salt Scrub by The Body Shop

Hello beautiful!

Spa Wisdom Africa from The Body Shop is a line from which the ingredients are from Africa. The rich Ximenia & Salt Scrub are priced Rp. 329.000, definitely not cheap for a body scrub which I use abundantly and wash it away, does it worth the price?

Let see  . . .

Details from thebodyshop.co.id:

A luxuriously creamy cleansing exfoliator with skin softening ximenia oil and Community Fair Trade cocoa butter with an evocative, floral fragrance to leave skin feeling superbly smoothed, softened, revitalised and radiant.

Shea butter is rich in fatty acids and antioxidants, Ghanaian women have used it for centuries to protect their skin from the dry Saharan winds. The shea plant thrives on the soil of the African continent, from Senegal to Ethiopia. The Body Shop only uses shea butter from the Tungteiya Shea Butter Association in Ghana. Trading with The Body Shop under the unique Community Fair Trade programme has helped change the lives of over 400 women in the association who now have access to clean water, better housing, medical care and education for their children.

Apply scrub to damp skin in circular movements. On areas where skin is particularly dry and rough such as heels, knees and elbows, use firm, rapid movements to enhance the exfoliating effect. Rinse and pat dry.

Ximenia oil - From the native African ximenia fruit hails this rich oil renowned for its skin softening and conditioning benefits.

The packaging is wonderful and I'm thinking of keeping it afterward, do not put it inside the bathroom as the water will cause the container's metals rust. Put it on the dry room, gallop a palm size and put the rich thick cream on a bowl or something and take it to the bathroom.

The smell is amazing, like a luxuriously rich nutty scent mixed with double cream. Kinda like a candle too, or a wax. I can see where the price paid for, the ingredients, container and how loaded, opulent and thick it is.

There's an instant warmth as the well-heeled cream touches the skin and the feeling is amazing. Like truly being pampered. From the aroma to the sensation, it was wonderful. I can imagine myself lying in a resort near a beach, indulging a massage with this particular cream, superb!

I've used it on a damp skin and dry skin, I like it better on dry skin, the thickness somehow like melting on the skin, I have to work it through and get my skin cleaned. When it's damp somehow they are not as 'scrubbing' as I want them to be. But it still work, but not as hard as in dry skin.

After rinsing the skin and the thickness just disappears in an instant, leaves me a wonderful bouncy cleaned skin, super duper moist and hydrated, far away from dry and angry. The skin also soften, glowing with happiness cum chewy, should I say that?! Chewy? It does look chewy thou ^0^ plus smells yummy too.

Why you have to try it?

While most scrub gives the skin redness, this one gives the skin a smooth buttered-like finish.
