Narciso EDP

Hello everyone,

today I was invited to an event by Luxasia. It was an event for Narciso, a new fragrance by Narciso Rodriguez.

By the entrance, all of the guests are welcomed by an array of Mr. Rodriguez works of arts, his inspiration for the perfume and a story behind it.

Why is it named that way and for what purpose.

This whats make a perfume personal, for me it's more than just aroma.

A fragrance that is refined, assertive, elusive, illuminating, seductive and attractive.

This is Ms. Karen, presenting Narciso Eau de Parfum to all of the guests attending. Behind her is a video that shows everything in the making of the perfume, the ad, the lady and how Narciso describe the perfume and the name.

Narciso is the name of a Greek myth, Narcissus, with many romantic narrative suggested by it.

And here's why.

Start with a lovely Bulgarian Rose and a feminine Gardenia, lingers and seduces the senses, then enveloped by musk, the signature heart of the scent, amber, in it's warmth and comfort, with woody as the base. Yes, woody, a scent that is commonly used in the men fragrances. These collaboration created a perfume that bold, brazen, intriguing, and very very much woman.

The bottle is a simple cube but with nothing about it that is simple. I found the cube to be astonishing and powerful. It is white as the bottle is painted from inside and the whiteness is made with the inspiration of a stone he found on the shore of Cypress where Aphrodite was born.

I really love the bottle, the creamy white is beautiful, the matte nude top is like a contrast to the glistening glass bottle. It is an art all by itself.

The black logo stands alone, making it's mark, gorgeous!

The product comes in a series of EDP 30ml (IDR 740.000), 50ml (IDR 1.160.000), 90ml (1.365.000), Body Lotion (IDR 620.000) and a Deodorant Spray (IDR 505.000).

The texture of the body lotion is rich, milky and like a mixed of cream and the perfume.

All of the products are creamy white with black engraved words.

If you prefer to have a longer and more overall effect, you may use them all, or perhaps only for that special occasion.

And here's what I really like about the perfume, look at the bottle below, the message that wants to be delivered are perfectly match to the scent inside.

The perfume will be ready on Indonesian market by the end of October 2014 at major Department Stores such as Seibu, SOGO, Metro, and many more.

The ad for the perfume is about a woman, so captivating, graceful, glamor, naturally beautiful, and it's Raquel, a Brazilian model.

What do I think about the perfume?

Clearly written above that I'm in love with the bottle. Now the scent. For me, it was intriguing, unique, bold, strong yet so feminine and beautiful at the same time. I think this perfume would be a great addition that fills the gap that has been missing all these time. A perfume for woman who are confident in her own seductive ways, where her presence has made a statement.
