COVERMARK Moisture Veil LX

Hello everyone,

last week I was invited by Kawaii Beauty Japan to attend an event with COVERMARK.

The brand COVERMARK itself is pretty famous around the world and not because they are focusing on medias and advertisement but on words of mouth where real customers using their products and loving it.

I've tried COVERMARK products since 5 or 6 years ago in Singapore and loving it, their texture, how it felt on the skin and efficacy is top notch. Now, here I am again, encountered with the same brand again, in Indonesia.

Before the presentation and trying on the highlighted product, there are some other things shared during the event. From the arrays of skincare to this item which I think is a 'must have' called Bright Cheek.

It is a highlights blush and radiance boost in one with this superb texture. It is so silky and smooth on the skin, I haven't try any product as smooth as this one and gives the skin that pearly lovely glow. I'm head over heals with Bright Cheek.

I'm also trying on their skincare from the lotion, serum and creams. They all feels good on the skin, light, fragrant and the moisture boost effect are visibly seen instantly.

I'm using the makeup collection since 5-6 years ago but not the skincare, now I'm so interested to try them as well.

After a while happily playing about the skincare and Bright Cheek, the presentation finally begun with a team from Japan. She explain a lot about the products and here are the details given about Moisture Veil LX.

What does it mean? It means that Moisture Veil LX is created a multi layered powder that help turn sebum into a part of the makeup where usually other makeup expel and event 'fight' against sebum, making the skin look dry or coagulated turning everything it touches become what we know as cakey. Dry patches, cracks and chunks of powders mixed with sebum for that far from silky smooth finish. Moisture Veil LX embrace the sebum as part as a human form and made something beautiful out of it, it's the kind of makeup that turns better and better by the hours.

This also becomes a key where Moisture Veil LX binds moisture and sebum during touch up. Most of us prefer loose powder as it clumps less, Moisture Veil LX even thou it is a compact powder, it is perfect for touch ups too. I've used it on several occasion and it works like wonder.

At first, I was using it on the event, after carefully selected my shade, which is MN 10. The full range is 9 shade from nudes to pinks and ochers.

I love their shades since it caters all Asian skin tones beautifully and still pays attention on the undertone.

For a fresher shade choose the pinks, for natural tones choose the nudes and for those with darker shade can use the ocher.

Formulated using COVERMARK's cutting-edge capsule technology, Moisture Veil LX enables flawless skin that becomes increasingly radiant over time. In just one minute, achieve a high-performance perfect complexion.

How to use

For areas with imperfections, dab powder on sponge bit by bit and pat onto the skin to avoid creating a heavy look. Do not dampen the sponge. This may cause the foundation’s surface to harden.

The box look luxurious with gold and printed details. Inside are the compact case and powder separately. So for sure, they also sell the refills.

The refill fill in nicely into the container but mine chipped a bid. There's a sponge provided and a huge mirror to my delight, who doesn't love a big mirror in their purse?!

I thought the sponge is standard, it is not, it is smooth and works well with the powder.

Most compact works well in damp condition, but as described in the website, no need to make the sponge damp, and use it as it is and it is perfect. It is perfect on its own.

Use it alone, on top of BB Cream, CC Cream, Liquid foundie, primer or just about anything, even sticky skincare. Layered it alone over and over again on problematic areas also help in terms of coverage. When used alone the powder provide light to medium coverage, use it with concealer, liquid foundation or cc and bb cream for a maximum coverage and it made everything looks light and effortless. I don't have major issues with my skin tone nor complexion but I do have a few things to hide from fine lines, minimizing laughing lines, those tiny freckles on the upper cheeks and of course, other spots and marks from the past.

COVERMARK Moisture Veil LX does it well, below is me using only skincare plus Moisture Veil LX without primer, cc nor bb cream, liquid foundation whatsoever and no loose powder as well. Moisture Veil LX as the only base and after around 6 hours of activity under the hot and humid air with no touch up whatsoever.

Thank you so much COVERMARK Moisture Veil LX for that lovely coverage, perfect lightweight finish with a remarkable ability to embrace the sebum and all the humidity Jakarta has to offer. My skin looks flawless and never naked even after long hours.

Indoor, outdoor, under the scorching sun or blinding flash lights the base becomes perfect as it is or after touch ups.

Cleansing wise, it is pretty hard, as the powder becomes 'so attached' to the skin and the fine particles really 'infused' on to the skin, do double or triple cleanse. Start from cleansing oil or COVERMARK cleansing milk, use a cotton and keep wiping it off until the cotton is white without powdery residue visible and then do a face wash thoroughly. Finally, to check everything is clean, use a toner with a cotton pad to check on whether there's a leftover.

one of my favorite compact powder of all time.
